A Dog's Purpose Is Strange Magic 2 Chapter 10

Professor Lockhart is extremely fortunate Harry was wise enough to have the foresight not to bring Bailey to Defense Against the Dark Arts class with him later during that afternoon or else she would've taken great pleasure of relieving him over a very important appendage.

Considering it was basically the last class of the day Harry took the time to deliver Bailey and her puppies back to Gryffindor Tower until the lesson ended. Now that Harry is aware of what the class schedule is going to be like that's going to be his routine for now on days whenever he has Defense Against the Dark Arts until the puppies are moved down to a pen at Hagrid's. When that time comes Harry trusts Bailey to get to the place on her own to spend time with the litter.

During that time Bailey is curled up in front of the fireplace in Gryffindor Tower nursing her babies and then cleaning each one. With seven in total, that's a lot of puppies to clean.

Neither Harry nor Bailey is worried about anyone there harming the litter. Everyone in Gryffindor House loves Bailey.

In fact, a handful of students there sit close by Bailey as they're doing their schoolwork or intermingling with each other.

One of the students in particular takes this in his stride.

An excited little first year named Colin Creevey, Muggle Born. A good-natured kid even if a tad annoying. He carries around what appears to be an ordinary Muggle camera. Almost got Bailey into trouble with Lockhart again earlier when Colin made the mistake of asking for a signed photograph in a hallway crowded with other students. Lockhart showed up and Harry was forced out of reluctant politeness to stand alongside the man for a picture. Lockhart came close to losing his hand for that one. Even Colin might've come to realize he may have made Harry partially angry toward him because of the stunt in the hallway caused by his asking for a signed photograph. So, Colin thought about making up for it by taking pictures of Bailey and the puppies and surprising Harry with the best ones when he comes back. Sensing Colin meant no harm toward her litter Bailey tolerates Colin's actions.

When Harry returned from Defense Against the Dark Arts, Colin handed over all the pictures he'd taken. Despite still being furious at Colin, Harry did soften the bitterness a smidge toward the little boy. He accepted the offer for further pictures of Bailey and the puppies further on in the year, thinking of maybe putting together a photo album like the one Hagrid gifted to him previously.

Unfortunately, this friendly gesture causes Colin to presume this to be an open invitation to trail Harry and Bailey around wherever they went after memorizing his class schedule. Little bugger must've somehow gotten a look at it when no one was paying attention.

Luckily all of them were able to work around the havoc Colin unintentionally creates.

One of them is her puppies opening their eyes for the first time as they become more active and mobile. It was right before the weekend hit.

Bailey is taking the opportunity to steal a small meal of her own as the puppies are pawing at her stomach when she notices out of her peripheral vision that her son Bold is making his way toward her dog bowl. At first, Bailey presumes that he must've accidentally rolled away and was trying to find his way back to the milk. Bailey is about to nudge him back into place when she spots what's different about him and freezes.

Bold's tiny eyes have opened a little. He's opened his eyes.

This is far earlier than Bailey ever expected any of her babies to attempt to open their eyes.

Bold is ahead of the pack. And he's trying to run faster than he can walk. He's smelled her own food and is struggling to crawl his way to her dinner to try and discover where those marvelous smells are coming from. It's much too early for Bold to taste solid food, let alone show a keen interest in it. Bailey gently picks her son up in her mouth and deposits him back with his brothers and sisters. Bold squirms, squealing in protest as he's buried underneath the pile, and Bailey can tell he's going to be in trouble as he gets older.

By the weekend Bailey is astonished that all of her pups have opened their eyes, viewing the world for the first time.

Harry shares Bailey's delight after he learns this. Pushing aside the displeasure the first week back has brought and instead now focusing on the good.

Harry takes note that it's not nearly as bad as it could've been in the long run.

All in all, as the days slowly go by, despite some slight bumps in the road, by appearances it seems like this is going to be a good year at Hogwarts.

That is until the first incident down at the Quidditch field.

Heads up everyone there's someone on fanfiction you need to seriously watch out for. Early a couple of days ago after I woke up I was checking my email and I saw I had a new guest review on my A Dog's Purpose Is Strange Magic 2 sequel. I took a look at it and got a very big shock. Some random person I've never spoken to before on here or anywhere else in my life was basically threatening me. Intimidating and practically ordering me to write a threatening letter to someone on their behalf, telling to stay off of for life or else they and everyone else close to them would be killed, disgustingly telling them to kill themselves. And at the bottom of the message this crazy person wasn't done. Warning me that if I don't send the letter then they would kill me and for confirmation to email them to make absolutely sure I complied with their demands. Of course I did nothing of the sort. Instead of doing what they wanted I reported them to the website, sent copies of this deplorable guest review message to police officer cousins of mine so they could have it on file, and I went to a nearby police station and reported it.

When I spoke to the police officers and they checked everything on the message they saw, that while the address and names of business were accurate the people and their names were not. They agree it was more than likely a scam because of the email address on the bottom in order to perhaps get access to personal information or potentially hack my computer. Despite that I'm still very happy they took it seriously as I showed and told them everything. All the same I'm still very happy that I brought this to the attention of law enforcement. Even though the entire thing might be fake I'm still very happy to have brought this to the attention of those who can do something about it if it was legit in some way. This may have been a scam, but it's obvious these people are beyond irresponsible if they try to goad people into sending death threats to random strangers just to get access to info.

Be that as it may if this does unfortunately happen to you do not send any messages to the email addresses they put down and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you bring the message to the authorities immediately whether it is legit or not.

Because it's a guest review it might not be visible for a couple of days as it loads if it is sent to you. But when it does you should definitely pressing the report abuse button and send it to the email that leads to the support staff that is available.

Especially those in multi-million dollar companies that rely on certain elements of our planet that we rely on to naturally keep us safe instead of adapting and finding new safer ways to keep in business. There are so many options out there where they can adapt, but they just refuse to see it because all they care about is money. Climate change is altering so much faster than anyone can really keep track of.

So, in light of all this, it is important to live life to the fullest as much as anyone can.
