Visiting Aunt Miriam
The phone rang, startling Lou for a moment before he realized what was going on. Setting his box of snacks down next to Tommy he grabbed the phone and answered it. "Hello? Pickles residence!"
"Lou? Its your cousin Miriam! Listen-"
Lou frowned, not noticing Tommy grab a treat and begin to eat it. "Why did you have to tell me that you were my cousin Miriam?"
"What now?"
"Why did you have to tell me you were my cousin? I know you're my cousin! I've known you my entire life!"
"I don't know… anyway, I'm having my weekly poker game and wanted to see if you'd be a fourth."
Lou huffed. Tommy did the same, thinking it funny to act like his grandpa. "And ya promise not ta cheat?"
"It was one time Lou… I promise."
"Well… I'm babysitting right now…" He looked at the babies who stared up and smiled at him (He didn't notice that Tommy had tossed them all snacks from the box).
Miriam laughed. "Oh, you are watching Tommy? Who is your Grandson?"
"…yes, my grandson, Tommy. I know that too."
"His parents are Didi and Stu. Stu is your son."
"Miriam, are you okay?" Lou asked, concerned.
She laughed. "Right as rain my cousin Lou who is a man I know. I'm Miriam."
Lou frowned.

"So she was having a stroke?" Didi asked later that night at supper.
"Yeah," Lou said with a shake of his head. "Thank goodness she called me or who knows what would have happened! Doctors say she'll be more than fine but… that was a scary thing."
Tommy merely smiled as he ate his supper, rather happy that he'd been able to have a fun day. Though… he didn't eat ALL his food as he was rather stuff from all the treats he'd gotten!

Trixie frowned. "Seriously? You got hung up on the first 30 seconds of the episode?"
"I get they needed to remind the audience who Miriam was but dear lord that is horrible writing!" the blond creator complained. "Its just so awkward and clunky."
"For a show for kids… about babies."
"I have high standards."
Melinda smirked. "You are rewriting Rugrats episodes, you have no standards."
