Uneasy Rider

"Thanks Betty but I think I'm going to wait just a bit longer before I teacher Chuckie to ride a bike," Chas said.

"Aw, this ain't about him being safe, is it? Come on, what's life without danger?"

"More that the bike is a bit too big for Chuckie," Chas said. "It will be great when he's 3 or 4 but for now I am getting a little tricycle."

Didi nodded. "That seems like a great idea. Get him used to it. And tricycles are far more stable… oh!" Didi let out a gasp when she saw Tommy had wandered up to the bike and attempted to get on it. "I'm sorry sweetie but that's a bit too big for you."

Tommy's lip trembled. Too big? But he was a big boy now! He had on his new clothes and he was drinking his sippy cup… he was the biggest boy ever!

"WAAAA! WAAAA! WAAA!"

"Aw, someone needs a nap…" Didi said, gathering Tommy up. "Can you guys watch the kids?"

"Sure thing… where is Lou though?" Betty looked around, confused.

"Oh, he's off with the boys again," she said, rolling her eyes.

Lou Pickles leapt out of the water. "Already fixed! Them there overgrown mackerel won't be buggin' ya no more!"

"…thank god. Honestly I had no idea how to stop them."
