Magic Baby

"Angelica," Lou said sternly, settling in on the couch with his bowl of colorful cereal, "don't give those to the sprouts."

The little girl pouted. "But I wanted to trade the magic beans for the pony, grandpa!"

"That there horse is Tommy's," Lou reminded her gently. "And besides, its not safe ta have that around Dil."

"What do you mean?" Angelica said, confused. "The pony won't hurt Dil." Especially if Cynthia was riding it.

That though made Lou laugh. "Not the pony, them there crunchy bits." He held out his hand and Angelica handed them over to him. "Tommy might be able to eat'em but Dil's too little. Ya wouldn't want him ta choke on'em, would ya?"

"…no Grandpa Lou," Angelica said sadly. She didn't know WHY everyone cared so much for Dil… he was a stinky drooly baby that did nothing… but she knew they'd be sad. Maybe Dil would be like Tommy and finally decide to stop being a baby?

…nah!

"Sides, I don't think that pony is fancy enough for Cynthia," he said with a smile.

"What do you mean?"

"Well," Lou said, deciding to distract the girl with a story, "she needs something better than that! Like… a dragon!"

"A DRAGON?!" Angelica said, suddenly growing excited. She quickly forgot all about the horse toy and sat with Lou as he began to tell the tale.

"That's right! Why, I remember when your Grandma Trixie visited her sister the Dragon Tamer of Berk! Why, it must have been the summer of 1915…"

Tommy and his friends happily played with the horse, Dil watching them do so, none of them realizing the bullet they'd dodged.

"MMMM!" the creator tried to cry out by Amenadiel was covering his mouth.

"You are NOT having one of them choke on the beans!"

"MMMM!"

"Yes, admittedly they should have choked on something ages ago but this is not "The Babies Die Every Chapter"!"

"Mmmm?"

"…I don't know, guess it depends on Boris and celrock and RJ if they want to read that. They are your main reviewers."

"mmm mmm mmm."

Amenadiel loosened his grip. "I suppose having Dil steal Angelica's toy in "Angelica's Twin" only for it to set him on fire and Didi thinks its just barbcue is kinda funny in a dark-"

"STOP LISTENING TO HIM!" Trixie shouted.
