Chuckie's Complaint
"Hey Reptar!" Chuckie complained, glaring at the tv screen as the commercial for Reptar Cereal ended. "You shouldn't eat that boy's cereal!"
"That kid's lucky that Reptar didn't eat him," Angelica stated. "And he was nicer than my mommy and daddy! If I had refused to eat my breakfast I'd get a time out! Everyone knows that's worse than being eaten!"
Chuckie walked away from Angelica, arms folded over his chest. "Why did Reptar eat that boy's cereal?"
"Well… he didn't want it, right?" Phil said.
"Yeah," Lil pointed out. "His mommy told him to eats it and he didn't because he didn't wants it no more."
Tommy toddled over. "Which is worse than Reptar eating it because Reptar Cereal is the bestest cereal ever!" He closed his eyes, hugging himself. "When I eats it… mmm…"
"Well… maybe," Chuckie admitted. "But he shouldn't have broken in there like that! Who blows holes through walls-"
And that's when the front window shattered.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" all the babies screamed, running away from the broken window as fast as their little legs could carry them.
"Its okay, its okay!" Didi assured them, hurrying over and motioning for Angelica to join her. "Stu!"
"I heard, what… oh…" he walked over and saw that there was a rock lying on the floor. "A car must have sent it flying. Just an accident. Is everyone okay?"
"Just scared," Didi said, lifting Tommy up. Upstairs Dil began to cry, having been awoken from his nap. "I'm going to take the kids upstairs to play… can you clean things up down here?"
"Yeah. I'll call Howard and have him come and help get some boards up…"
Didi took the babies upstairs, soothing them all so by the time they got to Tommy and Dil's room it was only the 4 month old that was crying. And he was soon settled and set down next to the kids while Didi stepped out to make sure Stu was doing okay.
"See Chuckie?" Tommy said. "Reptar probably just had an accident, like that rock did."
"Well… I guess that makes sense. And it wasn't nice of that boy not to eat his cereal. My daddy always says for me to finish my plate."
"That's right, it- OW!" Tommy yelped as Dil reached over and snapped his diaper. "Dil, don't do that!"
But the baby just giggled and moved to snap his diaper again.
"No Dil," Tommy said firmly, moving out of reach. "Come on guys, let's play away from Dil… he's being a mean baby."
"When isn't he mean?" Phil asked as they picked up their toys and moved away from Dil, the baby beginning to fuss that Tommy had ruined the game.
"Well, looks like someone finally figured you out, Drooly," Angelica said. "Tommy is growing up and soon is gonna be like me… he doesn't have time for dinky dumb babies like you."
Dil glowered at that.
