DIDN'T think it was fine for babies to nearly die every 5 days? Tommy is about to have a very different life with Stu and Didi actually using their brains.

212. Silent Angelica

"I mean, I can't believe it Drew!" Charlotte said in shock, shaking her head as she entered the kitchen. Stu had already dropped off the kids and Drew was making sure they all got breakfast. Angelica had already eaten and was in the bathroom brushing her teeth. "I mean, I thought that deal with take forever to go through and I'd have to work this weekend but according to Mr. Minomoto a blond American with a beard suddenly appeared and told him he'd put his boot up his-" She looked over at Tommy who was eating his breakfast, "-er, well, you know… if he didn't sign the deal. So the paperwork is all handled and now I have the entire weekend to spend with the kids!"

Drew nodded. "Angelica will be thrilled." Drew smiled as he bent down and picked up Tommy, his nephew giggling in delight as Drew tossed him in the air. "I'm thinking we can all go to the park so you and Angelica can have a mommy and me day." He shook his head. "It's the darnest thing… I had a dream that a blond man told me to actually be a parent and spend time with my kids or he'd remove my…" He looked at Tommy who just smiled, "…you know, and force feed me it."

"Strange," Charlotte said. "Well have fun!"

And they did.

Because the parents realized that you should actually be parents to your kids and not treat them as social status symbols that you pass off to your brother so you can focus on your work. Because children remember those things and when the time comes when you want to spend time with them… they might not be there.

So Angelica got to spend time with her mom watching movies while Drew played with Tommy and the babies at the park.

Like decent people.

"I'm worried about him," Lucifer whispered to Cassie as they watched the creator brood. "These last few episodes have really upset him."

"Bad parents and bad kids," Cassie whispered as Mr. Chaos wandered away. "Let's be glad he's just-"

BOOM!

Aria stuck her head in. "He just killed the parents from Fairly Odd Parents and is moving to get the main kid adopted by, and I quote, "Non idiots who deserve to live". "

Cassie and Lucifer shared a look.
