Doctor Visit

Far away on an island filled with mutated Grimm was a scientist.

Dr. Merlot was pressing some buttons while humming happily. He looked up at a large green crystal with something human-shaped inside with a happy expression.

If only he allied with Salem sooner, he would never have come this far along in his dream. To create the next phase in the ultimate species, though his masterpiece is still in it's infancy, it still has the potential to be above any Grimm on the planet. And soon once it is complete he will be one step closer to pushing mankind to the next step in evolution. If only he had met Salem before he had met Ozpin, he was too much of a coward to see the bigger picture.

A floating eyeball came behind him, the Seer that Salem had given him for communicating.

He eyed it and stepped away from his keyboard. Prepared to greet his new benefactor.

In the eye Salem's face appeared. "Hello, Dr. Merlot."

The mad scientist stopped what he was doing and turned to his new employer. "Your grace." He bowed to his benefactor.

"I've received Cinder's report, she had said that your creation was underwhelming." Salem began with a frown. "Is this true?"

Merlot kept a smile. "She did defeat it as easily as expected yes." He admitted. "But it produced the desired result."

"Really?"

"Yes, look."

Merlot walked with the Seer following him and towards a crystal. With a familiar human-shaped Grimm inside it.

"This is the same one that fought Cinder three weeks ago, when he was destroyed, the rest of his body formed a green crystal and slowly regenerate." He then focused on the crystal. "Observe."

Salem did silently impressed that creature survived even part of a Maiden's power.

"Awake" Merlot commanded the crystal.

The Seer floated closer to the crystal and sees the Skull inside move.

Then as if responding to the doctor's call the crystal began to shake and crack.

The human-shaped Grimm broke through its crystal cocoon and stood completely unharmed.

It was something that actually impressed the Grimm queen.

"Fascinating" Salem complimented. "So instead of disintegrating, this Grimm can survive to fight another day." That was an accomplishment.

The Grimm in question made a noise that sounded like a demented squeal like it was happy.

Dr. Merlot put a hand on its head and smiled. "Yes, and he is still at his infancy, once Hazel, Tyrian, and Dr. Watts return with what I need, he will be able to fight even the boy." He said confidently.

"Hmm" Salem put a hand to her chin. "We shall see." She sounded unsure.

The Human Grimm heard this and looked down making another noise, this time it sounded like a small whimper.

Dr. Merlot looked at the creature and frowned but kept his emotions in check, he learned early on that it wasn't the wisest thing to lose his temper in front of Salem.

"How goes their harvesting?" The scientist asked eagerly for when they returned.

"Hazel's doing his work splendidly, most of his Dust crystals are filled by now." She said looking at a list. "Same goes for Tyrian, it won't be long before they're finished."

The mad scientist grinned at that eager to get all the pieces he needed.

"As for Dr. Watts, you haven't heard from him?" Salem knew of his assignment and thought the two would communicate regularly.

"He hasn't contacted me since he agreed to what I needed, when I persuaded him he was a bit, indifferent to put it lightly, I believe he's blocked all communication with me." Dr. Merlot never thought a fellow scientist would scream so many profanities, perhaps it was due to how difficult obtaining it was.

Salem couldn't help but chuckle, even someone as professional as Arthur has his moments of pouting like a child.

"I've been contacting him regularly to keep an eye on his progress." The witch explained. "As of right now he is having issues with getting to it, Ironwood has tightened security, it seems even Atlas is cowering at this boy."

Merlot put a hand to his chin. "Perhaps I can send some of my creations to provide assistance."

"No" Salem had said. "After the last one was destroyed Ozpin has taken measures to prepare, and most likely General Ironwood is aware of it, Dr. Watts is working with Tyrian on creating a distraction for him while during his harvest."

"I see" Merlot sighed disappointedly he wouldn't be able to haste getting what he needed to better his creation. "Will that slow Tyrian's process?"

The harvest was as important as what Watts was doing and he did not want the process to slow down, not when he was so close.

Salem wore a smile to ease the doctor. "I assure you, Tyrian is quite efficient at multi-tasking."

Dr. Merlot bowed respectfully to the Grimm Queen. "I see, thank you."

"Well Doctor, I'll leave you to your projects, thank you for the update." Salem vanished from the Seer and it closed its eye.

Merlot turned to his creation and sees its hands in its face. It was shaking, almost like it was crying.

Human emotions already? Even he didn't expect this. It was wonderful he really was succeeding; oh he must continue to thank Salem for all she has done.

The mad scientist put a hand on its shoulder.

It stopped and turned to its creator.

"Son, are you bothered by what Lady Salem said?" He really respected her not quite at Tyrian's level, but it was just as genuine. "You needn't worry, even if you cannot defeat this boy now, I will bring you up, I will help you rise to become the pinnacle of evolution."

The creature continued to cry but then it got up and wrapped its arms around its creator, it was a hug.

Merlot was confused but chuckled and returned the hug.

"Remember this son, every success is followed by many failures, and you will succeed no matter how many failures that follow. Just as I have, I promise." He spoke affectionally.

"Eclipse" Merlot finally said the creature's name. "Never doubt yourself, in time you will be the next step in mankind's evolution."

Underneath Eclipse's mask, a red line formed into a smile.

Solitas

Three days had passed, it seemed like forever for the Saiyan.

Kron dashed forward trying his best to follow the map.

After a few hours, he arrived at the spot.

Just as he landed he looked around to find Tyrian but nothing, he was not here yet. Hopefully, he will arrive soon.

"Good to see you."

Kron immediately turned around to see Tyrian walking from behind a tree.

He was so close, he didn't bother greeting him.

"Where's the doctor?" He asked.

"Come along we're not far now," Tyrian stated as he continued to walk.

Kron continued walking following him eying his scorpion tail. He knew better than to trust him, sure he gave him evidence and claimed he wanted the doctor. But was sure there was some plan to take him down.

Bored with the silence the scorpion spoke. "As I'm sure you guessed I tracked you down for your assistance." He began. "During my investigation, I noticed something worrisome."

The Saiyan didn't care to respond.

Tyrian had a sad expression. "You left the huntsmen pursuing you alive, why is that?" He spoke in a tone that sounded disappointed.

Kron scoffed, while he did like to talk, he wasn't interested in sharing anything with him.

"That's my business."

The scorpion's tail thrashed and he sighed. "I miss the old you, I remember watching your fight with Sienna, I saw your face, you wanted her blood remember?"

Sienna, he remembered his first fight with her. She was the first opponent other than Raven to get the better of him, he was going to kill her but felt his bloodlust lost in their second fight. She was the first that made him doubt his original mission.

"I'm still far stronger than I was that day." Kron stated.

"Yes but you've changed." Tyrian whined with a sad face. "What happened to you? Why did you turn out this way? Who did this to you? Who ruined you?"

When he heard that he growled. "I haven't changed, I'll show you once you bring me to Raven." He said to him. "Or would you rather I show you here and now." He threatened.

Tyrian sees the look in his eye and chuckles. "Ah good, so you're not all gone there, good." Still, he missed the child that wanted to kill, it reminded him of himself at that age.

After a few more minutes of walking, they stopped just before a mountain.

Tyrian shrugged. "Alright after some more findings during the last couple of days I have found that, is that way just past that mountain." He pointed at the mountain behind Kron. "It's an abandoned Dust factory that he's currently using, I chose this place to meet up since we're out of view from his snipers."

"Tch" Kron rolled his eyes behind his mask. "You think I am afraid of some snipers?" Even dust bullets couldn't hurt him much these days.

"No" Tyrian doubted that it would. "However, if you're far away enough and give him enough time Dr. Turquoise will escape and he'll go to a new hideout at random, I would need more time to find him again."

"So, I'll just fly straight at him from behind the mountain before he could escape."

"Precisely" Tyrian nodded. "However, just one thing, many huntsmen have tried to apprehend him but he always surrounds himself with dozens of guards and not a single team has made it alive when they locate him."

"I am beyond any huntsman," Kron stated as he turned.

"And remember, I need the doctor," Tyrian said to him.

"Yeah, yeah," The Saiyan said as he started floating. "Oh, right one thing."

"Hmm?" Tyrian wondered what he had to say now."

Kron turned to the scorpion. "If Raven is still in a coma, you will wait until the doctor fixes her up, then you can take him."

The Scorpion Faunus heard this and seemed annoyed again.

"Oh, I see why." Tyrian smiled. "You wish to see her terrified expression before you exact your revenge."

Perhaps there's still that merciless side in there after all.

"Not just that," Kron stated. "I want her at 100%, not only does she have to be awake, she has to be able to fight, if she can't then you'll have to wait until the doctor is finished."

That was something the lanky assassin couldn't accept.

"What?" Tyrian whined. "But that could take too long! And if she can walk, she might escape, you may not get another chance like this again!" He needed the doctor now; he had another target to go to after this.

Kron growled at the whining weakling.

"Which is why during the rest of her treatment I will watch, and make sure the hag can't escape." It's the first thing the coward would try if she were to wake with him there. "I want Raven dead, but I also want a fight, it's no fun if she's bedridden."

Tyrian growled at that his tail thrashing about.

Kron continued. "So, if she needs more treatment, you will wait until he's done getting her back on her feet." He demanded instead of negotiated. "Got it?"

The Scorpion Faunus looked visibly annoyed; he was on a schedule! He needs to go after one more target after this. This was one of Hazel's targets! He wanted to get ahead of the burly man to show his dedication. If he takes too long then his goddess might not think fondly of him anymore!

But what choice did he have?

Tyrian sighed and his tail stopped thrashing from the anger. He then bowed politely to his 'partner'. "Kids today, very well, you may borrow the doctor but remember to hand him over when you're through."

Kron was ready to beat the reasoning into him but looked like he didn't need to so he just nodded and turned back

"Good luck," Tyrian said with a smirk.

Kron flew over the mountain and sees the abandoned factory, he dashed towards it as fast as he could.

The Scorpion Faunus sighed watching him leave with his arms crossed.

He hoped Raven wouldn't be there.

Inside the abandoned dust factory was a man dressed in white. He was looking over a man who was cut open and doing his best to provide surgery.

He had bluish-green hair and a black shirt with a white apron.

He was stitching up the hole he had to work with.

The building shook and he stopped before he could accidentally cut open his patient.

He sighed; he liked this factory. Now he was going to have to burn it after dealing with whoever found this place.

After putting his tools away, the doctor walked out of the room intending to return to the operating table.

When he walked out, he saw a man with a black outfit white built, and a Berringer Mask with two guards on the ground. They look like they'll be knocked out for a while.

The man looked up to see him.

"You, are you Dr. Turquoise?"

He merely smiled. "Yes, hello it's very nice to meet you." The doctor said. "And who might you be? Wait, the mask. Are you the Scourge of Anima? Here?! In Solitas?!"

When Kron heard the tone, it felt odd, he didn't sound scared or condescending. Did he sound delighted? Not quite what he expected.

"Yes"

"Oh, wonderful!" The Doctor said. "Wait right there I'll be right down!"

This made the Saiyan tilt his head, behind the mask Kron had a confused look. Was he crazy? He knows his exploits so why be so excited to greet him? Is he excited for a fight? No, he didn't look like a fighter at all, the way he's running down the stairs shows that he had limited combat experience.

Dr. Turquoise didn't just stop at the bottom of the stairs he walked forward until he was at arm's length in front of Kron as if not knowing how dangerous he was.

Kron looked at the man, he doesn't see any fear or confusion. He seemed so calm, is it perhaps because he doesn't know why he's here? Still, it's risky if that was the case. From the eyeholes of his mask he glanced around to see the henchmen, they were all calm, so they think their doctor isn't making a mistake.

The doctor then reached out both hands and grabbed Kron's hand.

The Saiyan didn't feel much if any strength behind it as the doctor took his hand and shook it.

"I wanted to say thank you, so much because of you, my business skyrocketed for almost a decade! Thank you so much!" He yelled as he forcefully shook Kron's hand much to his surprise.

Kron wanted to get the info now but he couldn't help but be curious, besides there was no way he could escape him this close even with his men surrounding him. "I just learned about you recently, how have I helped you?"

"From eight years ago, I had many patients brought to me, sometimes even asked by name by the underground arenas, I had to do work on many patients that you fought on your quest to be champion, that got me noticed and many customers needing my expertise!"

So he got his business further along, and Raven was probably the first. Funny to think about.

The doctor said still shaking Kron's hand. "I'm surprised you never heard of me, oh well can't be helped I never had to treat you." He then let go of his hand. "Now what can I do for you? Are you here to bring a patient or perhaps more unlikely to receive treatment? Anything you need? I owe you very much for what you've done!"

Perhaps he won't get to fight at all, that's disappointing, oh well not like it would've been much fun anyway even his henchmen don't look so strong.

"Doctor" Kron began. "I need to know are you treating a patient named Raven Branwen?"

"Oh," The Doctor said. "I suppose as in the Raven Branwen, hmmm, I apologize but I can't disclose if I am or not."

"Just tell me if you are or if she left." The Saiyan said annoyed.

"As I said I cannot disclose that information." Dr. Turquoise said as if he was being threatened by one of the strongest on the planet.

Kron reached into his pocket and pulled out his prized photo to show the doctor.

Dr. Turquoise saw the photo and gave little reaction only a twitch of his eyebrow.

"I think we both know this proves you at least did treat her, given that your men wear the same outfit." He said glancing around at all the men dressed in black suits and masks.

The doctor, face palmed as he glanced around at his men annoyed that someone was able to take a photo.

"Be that as it may." He replied. "I have a reputation to maintain, I cannot and will not disclose information on any patient I may or may not have treated."

The Saiyan growled as he put the photo back in his pocket and his tail lashed a bit. "You had said you owed me."

"Yes, however, there's only so much you can get out of my gratitude, I can offer a free treatment to you should you need it, but as a professional, I cannot and will not discuss matters with whoever is or was treated by me." The doctor said in a respectful tone. "Now please, if you have nothing else, I'd like you to leave."

Kron got closer to seem intimidating to the doctor, but it didn't seem to work he only had a blank expression.

"Either you answer my question or, you will need to see if you can provide yourself treatment without hands."

Again Dr. Turquoise didn't seem in fear, he just looked sad. Like he didn't like what was going to happen next.

"Please I don't want to see you in any pain, leave before it's too late."

Inside the mask, Kron had a look of rage. Bandits, White Fang members, Huntsman, no matter who knew of him they knew that threats are nothing to him, they know they could never be carried out to someone of his power. But this skinny doctor implies that he the Saiyan will receive pain? He was keeping himself under control but not this time, this was just disrespectful. To the one on top of the food chain on this planet.

"Pain?" Kron said in a threatening tone. "You mean like this?"

Kron threw a simple very restrained punch to Dr. Turquoise's stomach. Any harder and he might've broken his bones.

The doctor kneeled from the pain and had the wind knocked out of him.

The Saiyan looked down at the man who claimed he'd feel pain, he had never seen such idiocy since Vernal tried to-

His eyes widened as he felt something, he grabbed his gut and his knees wobbled a bit. 'What?' There was something strange in his stomach it felt like someone had just struck him.

"Ugh" The doctor got on his feet. "Please let's end it here, this is supposed to be a place of healing, leave before it gets any worse for you." He said gripping his stomach.

Kron growled and ended up backhanding the doctor across the face this time sending him flying and hitting his back against the floor.

Now he felt something else, his jaw he put his hand under the mask where his jaw would be. Again, he felt a stinging pain, no impact from an attack, just pain.

That's when he put it together. He looked at the doctor.

Turquoise got up and rubbed his jaw. "Now you know what I meant by pain, well, I'm sorry but you brought this on yourself." He said as he started going up the stairs. "Please make it quick." He told his henchmen.

The men started getting closer to Kron.

"What is this? He shows a semblance that can grant me pain and then he leaves his men to do the work, typical coward."

The men pulled out various weapons, swords, staffs, and guns.

Kron looked up at the doctor who was looking at him from the top of the stairs he only had a blank face as if he had no expectations of this to go his way or the Saiyan's way. Just observing.

"Tch" The Saiyan was annoyed but he made sure to remember that whatever pain he inflicts on the Dr goes to him as well. That's fine, it's been a while since he felt pain but he can still take a bit of it, it's a Saiyans reminder to get stronger. Once he gets to the doctor he'll just beat down his Aura to keep him from using it.

One guard came at him from behind with a long mace.

Kron merely rose his arm to grab the mace staff and pulled forward dragging the guard-forward. He then spun kick back into his throat he then backflipped and sent him flying and hitting the wall.

As soon as Kron's feet hit the ground, he felt something again. Pain in his throat from nowhere. In the same place, he kicked the guard!

"What?" He asked as he gripped his throat.

"It's only fair to warn you." Dr. Turquoise began making Kron focus his attention. "My semblance does not just apply to me, it makes whomever I decide to feel any pain they cause to anyone whether it's me or someone else."

'His semblance does that much?' Kron asked in his head. 'Damn, that's quite the ability.' He admitted.

Two guards swung swords at him only for him to catch each of them in his hands. He pushed them away and rushed towards the doctor.

With his speed, he was able to go faster than any guard could see.

He threw a forward chop aimed at the doctor's throat to knock him out.

But to his surprise, it phased through him.

Kron's body went through him, he turned around to realize it was a hologram.

The hologram reappeared. "Smart, knocking me out could undo my semblance however I know that your strength and speed is unmatched by many of my patients so, of course, I couldn't stay for long." The hologram started fading. "I would hate to lose such an asset to my business; however it'd be terrible for my reputation to reveal any client information, goodbye."

The hologram vanished and the guards all swarmed Kron.

With speed, he swayed multiple swords, axes, and staffs.

'No guns? Probably better for them to go up close, knowing that whatever I inflict goes to me, plus it removes any chance of friendly fire.' They wouldn't work on him anyway even Dust bullets hardly damage him anymore.

Kron decided to act on his instincts and started counterattacking, he was confident that he can take what he dishes out.

The Saiyan started by ducking and leg-sweeping the guards surrounding him making them fall on their backs.

And he felt all their pain his ankles and back hurt from that strike.

He then jumped and double-punched two guards in the face breaking their Aura and knocking them out.

One man managed to land a swing with his blade on Kron's neck only for it to stop short and crack from the impact.

Kron turned and palm struck the man's chest sending him against the wall.

All this was effortless to Kron he still wasn't trying.

But the pain was already starting to get to him.

'Damn it, Saiyan or not, these men are fragile even though I'm holding back while knocking them out their in so much pain.' He thought as he backflipped from a group of men intending to continue the fight. 'And that doctor, I can't let him slip away if he does..'

An image of Raven came to his head and rage was on his mind.

'I can't catch her!'

In anger Kron started counter-attacking on instinct, intent to knock them all out before the doctor escapes. No combos, only one shots to each.

Kneeing some in the gut.

Knocking them out with chopping motions to the neck.

And striking them in the temple.

However as Kron roundhouse three guards and sent them flying his neck starts to feel overwhelming pain in his neck, face, stomach, and back.

The Saiyan was starting to get disoriented with the constant pain.

A guard struck him with a blade, it didn't cut but it hurt since all the pain he was taking are adding up and making him more vulnerable.

Through the intercom, the doctor spoke.

"I can see you struggling, your body is starting to beg you to rest, see every creature'

He was struck in the back of the head by a mace.

"No matter how mighty"

One guard got him in a full nelson. And two guards double-struck him with hammers in the face and gut seeming to cause him pain.

"Will have always have a limit of how much pain they can take."

Kron rose his arms up escaping from the one who grabbed him and flew up growling, he wasn't even bleeding, and yet he was in so much pain, it wasn't as satisfying as having a fight, this was the first time he had to consider how fragile his opponents were.

"Pain is the ultimate equalizer, you may be the strongest anyone has ever seen Scourge of Anima; however, you like everyone else, you can suffer the same pain you inflict on others and will succumb to it in time."

Kron growled this doctor didn't seem like he was escaping, was he that cocky that he can put him down? He glared down at the guards wanting to continue to attack and just power through the pain.

But then thought of the other times he was angry, he lost control and fought improperly, got himself beaten by Raven, and captured by Sienna.

He breathed in through his nose and out his mouth from beneath his mask.

No, he needed to do this right and think of his situation, he can endure more pain but only so much.

One guard managed to jump from the top of the stairs and swung his ball and chain toward him.

Kron merely dodged knowing that it could cause him more pain than his dealing with now. He landed on the floor surrounded by men.

He looked at one that had gotten up from his attack earlier, he had blood out of his nose.

Kron reached behind his mask to feel no blood out of his own even though he does feel the pain. This semblance can't inflict any injury on him just the pain, that's a relief at least.

The guards all ran to him surrounding him.

The Saiyan stomped the ground creating a spiderweb crack causing the surrounding guards to stumble from the impact.

Kron grabbed a rock and tossed it at a guard.

It hit his target's forehead and broke on impact.

Just then he felt more pain in his forehead.

'So, it doesn't matter with objects, if I throw them. Damn, so using Ki wouldn't matter either.' Kron thought but he remembered a fight with Hazel. 'Well in that case.'

The Saiyan had to change tactics.

Dr. Turquoise hadn't left because he still had a patient to finish up. He applied the stitches and managed to close up he knew that he wouldn't be able to escape the Scourge of Anima, he'd follow him if he was left alive so he wanted to make sure that he was taken care of.

During his performance on the surgery of his client, he was watching the security cameras.

He sees that now he's hesitating to attack and started avoiding the attacks his men are throwing at him no doubt because the pain was getting too much for him and he didn't seem to want to escape either because he was too proud, or he didn't want his chance to find Raven to slip away.

All is good, he'll make sure to dispose of the body along with the factory.

Thankfully he was able to get up close and overconfident due to his long win streak. Otherwise, he wouldn't have managed to shake his hand and activate his semblance.

Semblance: Pain Share: By touching one person they will experience whatever pain they inflict on others without the injuries. This ability only works on one person at a time and after one hour or of course, if the user runs out of Aura the semblance will be undone and free the victim it was cast on.

He finished patching up the holes in his current client.

And with that, he focused his attention on the security to see what progress his men were making.

The doctor looked panicked at the sight.

Kron remembered Raven's last lesson. The lesson he needed to win against her. It takes more than brute force to win a fight.

The Saiyan had jumped over a running guard and grabbed the back of his neck in a familiar hold. One hand, two fingers against his throat, and thumb on the back of his neck where a pressure point is located. It was the Taijitu Bite Grip, a move that weakens and knocks out enemies painlessly.

While holding him he made sure not to damage just apply enough pressure to stop him from breathing.

One guard came from behind with a mace.

The Saiyan immediately turned around and pulled up his captive, he took the hit from a mace in the face. Knocking him out he let go and watched him fall.

And there was no pain this time, looks like forcing others to take an attack doesn't inflict any pain on himself. Now he knows his way out of this.

Three guards came at him from all sides.

The Saiyan grabbed one of them and pulled forcing him to take a sword and hammer at his back.

Making them attack each other saves him from the pain.

One pulled back his sword and swung only for Kron to go behind him and his comrade and grab them in the Taijitu Bite Grip. The Saiyan flew as one came from behind to attack.

The two tried to escape Kron's hold but to no avail and soon passed out.

Kron let the two go and watched them fall passed out.

Keeping them from breathing long enough will incapacitate them with very little pain to himself.

The Saiyan looks around to see at least 20 left, he's not sure if he could take the pain of them all so he'll have to keep using this strategy but speed it up. He flew across the top of the abandoned factory smashing the lights or blasting them until it was completely dark.

The guards were confused and panicking a little as none could see in the dark.

Kron would then dash around and push them into each other forcing them to attack one another by mistake.

Then he would grab a few in Taijitu Bite Grips until they passed out.

All the remaining guards were attacking each other on accident in panic.

And Kron wasn't really throwing any attacks just forcing them to attack each other.

Then the last one standing was met with Kron grabbing in a Taijitu Tai Bite Grip until he passed out as well.

Kron smelled the area and listened for any movement. Looks like that was the last one.

Now to find that doctor before he escapes.

Damn it, this wasn't what he expected. The doctor took out a note and left it on the table next to his patient saying that he's recovered.

The boy will probably leave him be, either way, he did his job and now needed to leave.

Dr. Turquoise ran to a hallway leading to his escape route he had ready ahead of time.

But he stopped seeing who was in front of him.

The Scourge of Anima had used his speed to catch up and get ahead of the doctor.

"Hello Doctor" Kron greeted. "Thank you so much for the entertainment."

While he was talking Kron looked all over his body it was fidgeting a bit, very small shakes almost no one would notice.

The Saiyan continued. "This was the first time in years I actually had a bit of challenge, so I have to thank you for that."

"Well, I'm glad that you of all people were impressed." Dr Turquoise kept himself calm knowing he had a chance to get out of this. He brought his hands behind his back looking confident. "Your good at hiding it, but I can see that you still feel the pain you inflicted on my men, most in your position would be unconscious from what I've seen of our security."

Kron chuckled. "Where I come from pain is a common feeling, I've also learned that it takes more than brute force to win a fight." He was remembering Raven telling him that the last time they were civil. "And I know how to deal with opponents without the need to cause pain." He remembered during his fight with Hazel where he had used his tail to choke Hazel to release him.

The Saiyan walked forward. "Now, enough you will tell me what I need to know."

Dr. Turquoise knew it would be pointless to fight, so he relied on the only thing he had left. "I can see that you are still in pain, you can handle so much more before you pass out, you can't afford to inflict anymore." He then smiled. "And I can't take as much damage as my men so whatever you do to me will feel worse than you had to deal with fighting my men."

Kron didn't move for a few seconds as if thinking the doctor was right, then he kicked at the doctor's leg making the bone bend.

"Gahh!"

The doctor went down holding his leg which have been broken from one kick even with his Aura.

Behind Kron's mask he grimaced, he felt that, but it wasn't enough to make him pass out.

"Hm, your right doctor, you really can't take as much as your men," Kron said before grabbing the doctor by his shirt. "But I can work through much more pain than anyone you know." He stated ignoring his captive's whining. "And I can break your Aura with a few more hits ending your semblance before the pain becomes too much for me, unless you'd like to test that theory I suggest you tell me, Raven Branwen, are you still treating her?"

Dr. Turquoise can tell that this boy wasn't lying he took the pain of dozens of guards and is still conscious. And this boy who knows what he'll do if he doesn't comply. He had no choice, he lost.

"Very well, I'll talk." He conceded much to Kron's delight. "It's true I started treating Raven Branwen eight years ago."

Kron heard this and thought of their fight. He really did send her here. Good.

"She was brought in by a woman with short hair, Vernal I believe, she brought her to me and paid me to work on her."

Nothing new there but it was consistent with what Tyrian told him.

"Raven had some of the worse conditions I've seen on any patient, I couldn't just operate on her and let her walk out." He continued. "She was in a coma, unable to move or function on her own for years."

Kron asked aloud looking at the doctor. " For years? Does that mean, she's not here?" He asked disappointed.

"Ah yes, I had a hunch you were the cause," Turquoise said and continued his story. "Yes, s-she was in a coma for five years. Around three years ago she awoke, after that she and Vernal had left."

She got away. And she's awake so she can tell where he is.

"No, there's got to be something else. Where did she go?"

This wasn't good, for the doctor.

"I swear that's it, that's all I know." Dr. Turquoise said. "The place we used to treat Raven was a shack in the deserts of Vacuo, but we burned it down, I usually do that with every hideout I find."

He was so close. This couldn't be it.

"No! That's not enough! Raven has a semblance that lets her appear almost anywhere, she likely made her way elsewhere! You must have something else!" Kron demanded. " Did they say where they were going next? What about the rest of the Branwen Tribe? Why isn't she with them!? You are good at vanishing from place to place! Did they ask you where they might go?!" He shook the doctor desperate to know another lead.

"N-no!" Dr. Turquoise said. "I-I don't have any idea where they went, they asked me nothing and even if they did I would not help them!"

Kron growled and rose his other hand holding a powerful Ki ball and holding it close to the doctor's face.

"P-Please!" Dr. Turquoise said. "Think about it! I'm a doctor for any criminal that can pay me! Meaning I must know as little as possible about where my patients would go next just for situations like this! It's the best way to have returning customers, or to keep them from silencing me so they know their location is never in jeopardy!"

The Saiyan contemplated what he said, if this were true then this was a waste of time!

Dr. Turquoise closed his eyes hoping it'd be quick.

But to his surprise or his displeasure, Kron let go and let him fall on the floor.

This hurt his broken leg.

"Ahh!" Dr. Turquoise screamed glad to be alive but whined as he grabbed his leg.

Kron's right leg shook from that he had forgotten he was still under that semblance.

The Saiyan then stomped on his chest making him scream more.

Finally, Dr. Turquoise's Aura shattered.

So, his semblance ended but Kron still almost fell over feeling the pain he inflicted. Damn, that's quite the semblance indeed.

Dr. Turquoise growled and looked at his chest with Kron's foot on it. Damn, he'll make sure to blacklist Raven, he'll never treat her or anyone with a comparable reputation like her again!

"Ok!" Dr. Turquoise began getting Kron's attention. "Y-you got what you wanted now l-leave!"

Kron chuckled as he pulled his foot off and grabbed him by his shirt.

"W-what are you doing now?" Dr. Turquoise asked. "Please I-I told you everything I know! D-don't kill me." He pretty much begged.

"I won't kill you," Kron answered much to his relief.

"But he will be handing you over." A creepy voice interrupted.

The doctor panicked and Kron turned his head. Right he should've smelt him.

Tyrian appeared from the shadows and cackled. "Well done, Kron, you truly are everything I thought you'd be."

He was told to wait for Hazel to deal with the doctor, but Kron worked out just as expected.

"W-what? Who are you?" Dr. Turquoise asked.

"Oh, you'll know soon enough," Tyrian said and he had his arms open.

Kron tossed the doctor like he was a rag doll making him scream.

Tyrian caught him and put him over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. "Pleasure doing business with you."

"Hold on," Kron said to him making the scorpion turn. "I still haven't found Raven, it's another dead end, you got something else for me?"

The Scorpion Faunus smiled. "Well, the deal was, I tell you where the doctor is to get the information, and you bring him to me, I believe this concludes our deal."

Kron growled and aimed his hand at the scorpion while he carries the panicking doctor.

"You must've lied." He said as his hand glowed red. "Raven isn't in a coma and that means she has to be in the tribe! You said that she was still absent from the tribe!"

He remembered how he explained that he interogated a Branwen Tribe member and he explained that she was not in the tribe. If she was in a coma that would make sense but since she's awake he must've lied!

"I assure you." Tyrian said calmly with a smile. "I have not lied once, honestly I want you to kill Raven, you do remember how she and Hazel had a bout? Surely you must know that I'm not lying about that."

That was a good point, she made it clear that she and whatever Tyrian's group is don't get along.

"That could mean she joined you," Kron said as a red ball formed in his hand. "And now you're having me run in circles so I don't get to her."

Well, this could be a problem, he knew he'd have trust issues but not this much.

"Kron" The scorpion knew exactly how to convince him that wasn't the case, he also felt the same way until he met his goddess. " You are the strongest creature on the planet, tricking you would be a death sentence, I brought you evidence of where she's been, don't you think if we were working with Raven it would be dangerous for us to reveal to you any kind of clue on where she's been and not just keep it to ourselves?"

Another good point. Unless this was part of a completed plan to trick him they wouldn't hand him a picture. His stronger than anything they can throw at him, he knows that since they haven't sent any mutated Grimm. They certainly wouldn't want to give him the impression that they were his enemy.

The Saiyan finally put down his hand showing he decided not to end them.

Dr. Turqoise gave a sigh of relief.

"Good" Tyrian smiled, he always knew how to ease dangerous individuals like himself. "And because you have given me the doctor ahead of schedule, let's continue our alliance, I will see if I can find any more leads, meet me where we met in Anima, one week from now."

Kron growled hearing that, more waiting, great.

"Patience, patience" Tyrian scolded as he started walking away.

As he did the doctor was starting to panic more.

"Wait! Wait!" Dr. Turquoise screamed. "W-what does this lunatic have planned for me?"

"Lunatic?" Tyrian asked in a hurt tone. "Your words hurt me, doctor, I assure you, I only require your expertise."

The doctor was confused he wanted a free appointment, he suppose it wasn't so bad. Not that he could do anything as the duo disappeared out of the abandoned factory.

Kron growled as he pulled out the photo of Raven in a coma. So, she's awake. At least she can fight.

But, now what? She'll always see him coming. When she was in a coma it was easy to find her in one place but now even if Tyrian helps him. What good will it do if she can always avoid him with her link to him?

"Grr" Kron for the first time sat down still in pain from the doctor's semblance. He grits his teeth, this was the first time after a fight that he had to take a breather.

Raven doesn't matter right now; he'll figure out what to do about her later.

For now, he needed to rest and figure out what to do to kill time for a week.

Maybe he can finally pay Atlas a visit. That'd be fun.

Yes, time to visit the strongest kingdom.

About an hour later.

Tyrian hummed as he still had the doctor on his back.

Once he thought he was in a good enough spot he placed the doctor down against a tree.

"Ahh!" Dr. Turquoise screamed from the pain. "You idiot! If you want me to be of use, I need to be in fine health myself!"

Tyrian said nothing only smiled as he pulled out a glass-looking Dust crystal.

"What is that?' The turquoise hair-colored doctor asked, it looked like just glass.

The Scorpion Faunus then brought his tail to his face.

"Wait! Wait!" The doctor shouted. "What are you doing, y-you said you need my expertise?!"

"I do" Tyrian said still with a smile. "But not quite your medical skills, we have a couple of good doctors already."

"W-what?" Dr. Turquoise asked confused and afraid.

"Hush now doctor," Tyrian said. "You are about to be of use to the one and only goddess!" He then thrust his tail into his neck.

"Gah!" He grabbed his neck as the tail pierced him and left him bleeding out. And the poison circulating his veins. Without Aura Tyrian's poison was too much and so he was losing his life rather quickly.

Soon he stopped struggling.

Tyrian grinned as he held the Dust crystal over the corpse.

As he was near death a turquoise-colored light glowed from his body.

The light left the corpse and into the crystal.

As the light was going into the crystal, the doctor's body began to deteriorate, it looked like he had grown wrinkles, and his skin sunk in showing bone. Just like it did to those huntsmen he found in Anima.

The glass-looking dust that was absorbing the mysterious light then it slowly changed from transparent to black. The second stage that Salem had mentioned.

Once that was done the doctor's corpse looked just like Tyrian's previous victims like it aged and decayed seconds after death.

Tyrian giggled as he brought the now blackened dust to his face and sees the face of the man screaming in the crystal, in fact, the sound of his scream can be heard from the crystal though barely. "Oh, you are an excellent harvest doctor." He chuckled at the sound of his screams.

The assassin then placed the Dust crystal into his pouch and walked away leaving the corpse of the doctor in the snow. Now he was a step closer to completing his assignment, just one more.

Thankfully Raven wasn't receiving treatment, he was able to complete it without waiting for Hazel. His mistress will be most pleased with him, he will remain her favorite.

Tyrian pressed a device attached to his ear.

"Hello, Arthur" The scorpion greeted. "The boy's here in Solitas as I promised and ready to be of use."

Through the comm, a more civilized voice spoke.

"Very well, thank you for your assistance Tyrian." The man on the other side spoke. "Are you sure you will still be able to use the boy for your last harvest?"

Tyrian chuckled, it was important for the last harvest to meet Kron as soon as possible before his final target gets themselves killed, it'd be a problem if the boy were to be captured by Atlas.

"I've seen his power first hand, I know for sure that he will be in shape after he has his fun in Atlas."

He endured the pain of literal dozens and was able to strategize to get to the doctor. He had power and a clever mind, a perfect tool to exact his needs.

Now only one crystal needs to be filled. He pulled out another Glass looking Dust Crystal, the last one, the rest were black. He only needed to fill it. He looked at the scroll in his other hand to reveal his last target.

A woman with long brown hair and two big tuffs on top of her hair. His last target and the most important.

But first, he'll need to see how she does against the boy; his goddess made a good point about that.

Funny Kron had said that he'd never serve anyone, yet here he was assisting him in doing the goddess's work.

Still, he couldn't help but notice he avoided fatal blows again. Perhaps it was due to the pain semblance the pain of a fatal injury would slow him down tremendously.

Perhaps it was whatever changed him into this.

Or whoever.

One day he'll find out what made him give up his murderous rage and make sure they no longer influence him.

Well this was fun for to write.

So Kron is definitely at least one of the strongest on Remnant, but still, the right semblance and circumstance can slow him down, maybe even knock him out if he's not careful. Here he had to endure the pain he was dishing out from multiple men. Saiyans may have a high pain tolerance but even they can succumb to pain in time, thankfully the semblance, Pain Share doesn't transfer injuries.

Gotta say it's fun whenever I have to invent a semblance for the story, that being said Kron won't just be fighting OC's don't worry, he'll be fighting characters we know, love, and hate soon.

Hope you guys enjoyed having him struggle a bit.

So the human Grimm that Dr. Merlot created has a name now. Eclipse, a not-so-subtle reference to RWBY Grimm Eclipse. I think sometimes simple names are best. Eclipse may not be very impressive, everyone but him finds it underwhelming. As he is now. Still, at least he doesn't disintegrate when he's destroyed like most Grimm so that's something.

Well, Raven's not in a coma anymore, too bad. Kron had such high hopes to find her where she can't escape.

And it looks like he's going to continue working with Tyrian, after seeing if there's anything to do in Atlas.

Also turns out he didn't want to recruit but to use Salem's new dust. Now you guys got an idea of what it does to go from glass-looking to black. Salem had said Black was the dust crystal's stage, now you see how it turns black, now the question is what does it do? Have fun figuring that out.

Poor Kron, he's getting played almost like with Raven.

So Raven is out of a coma but last chapter explained that she's not with the tribe. Not with Ozpin or Taiyang. Now, where do you think she is? And why hasn't she gone back to her tribe? And most importantly, what is she doing? Have fun figuring that out too.

Definitely, makes Volume 5 unlikely to happen huh? Wonder what other changes to the story Kron will make. Another thing to figure out.

Well you'll find out soon have fun guessing how it'll all play out until then.

Review Responses.

Guest: As explained in this chapter, Kron would wait until Raven could fight again. The reason Kron was happy that Raven was in a coma was that as long as she was awake, she can sense where he is and escape. Raven's semblance tells her where people she's bonded to are, so she'll always know where Kron is and can escape by portaling to anyone else she's bonded with or start traveling whenever she senses him heading her way. So Kron would likely never find her as long as she's awake and able to use her semblance. So now that she's awake Kron will likely never be able to find Raven since she no longer needs to stay in one place and will know how close Kron is. So Kron was completely in character.

ThatSaiyaGuy: Thank you. Ya Kron is simply too much for even the strongest huntsmen now. And I'm glad you liked what I did with the fake death, if it were to happen I don't think I'd be able to write Kron aligning with RWBY it'd be undoable.

Glad you thought that way. Also, I'd be worried if u did trust Tyrian lol. And as you can see it did involve his Dust crystal. There's your first big hint on what it does, have fun guessing. Well apparently she's awake now, but as explained in the previous chapter she's not with the Branwen Tribe now. So it's a mystery what she's hiding or what she's doing.

Great to hear man. Yeah, sometimes this website's annoying when I get fanart I can't put links up, kinda dumb lol.

Guest: Thank you I'm happy to hear that I improved I hope I can continue to do so. Also, that's a very good theory and consistent with his character. You clearly know what makes Kron tick. We'll see if you are right in the future.

Guest: 17

Runion: Well Kron's gonna be in Solitas for a bit so you might get your wish.

Lelouch of Zero: Glad to hear it. Yeah at age 9 Kron made Raven have to use her Maiden powers to fight him so Qrow sadly can't do much against him now that he's older. Yep good thing he had that picture, Kron wouldn't have listened otherwise. Kali really did leave an impression let's hope it's enough for him to start doing good at some point. Perhaps, we'll see, he does have some good in him now. Thank you same to you happy holidays as well and I do celebrate.
