Runaway Reptar
"Thanks for joinin' me watchin' the kiddos, Lulu," Lou said with a smile. It was his first real date with Lulu and he had been worried she'd be offended by the idea of them basically babysitting. But she had been rather game for the whole thing, commenting that she hadn't been to a drive thru in years. And of course she was already in love with Dil and Tommy.
"This will be a hoot! And Reptar will be a fun movie to watch." Lou had thought about trying to watch two movies at once but decided that with so many sprouts in diapers it would be better to keep an eye on everyone. Besides, he could always come back the next day when someone else was watching the kids.
lLou looked down at his only granddaughter. "Now then Angelica you sure you'll be good with your friend Susie?"
"Sure will!" Angelica said; she wasn't that big of a fan of reptar so she and Susie and her family were watching the Dummi Bears instead.
Lou sighed at that as she went hurrying off. "What's wrong?" Lulu asked.
"Aw, Drew is mad at Didi for scarin' Angelica when she got sick so he ain't been bringin' her around as much. He let's me come over cause he knows I wasn't against 'im but I still don't get to see her as much."
"Hopefully they will work things out," Lulu said. "Now then, lets get the babies settled."
Tommy didn't quite know what to think of the movie. It was fun being in his jammies and getting treats and his grandpa letting them wiggle about the car when they wanted… but he also liked watching movies at home! It was fun… but different.
And it was kinda sad… how sad his grandpa was…
