Thumb's Up

"What are the kids doing?" Didi asked as she came to check on Stu. He was working on the fence and also keeping an eye on the babies and she'd been surprised to find them all on their backs wiggling their legs.

"Mimicking Dil," Stu said. "They wanted him to be part of their games, I guess."

"Aw, isn't that sweet… look Stu!" Didi gasped as Dil rolled forward onto his belly and began to drag himself around. "He hasn't done that before!"

"Way to go Dil!" Stu cheered and Dil looked up, beaming as his mommy and daddy cheered him on.

"That's great work, Dilly!" Tommy said. "You're learnin' how to crawl!"

Dil looked down at the ground. He… was a bit farther away from his pillow…

He looked at everyone before he pulled himself forward another few inches.

"Way to go Dilster!" his daddy cried out, picking him up. Dil squealed in delight. Tommy and all his friends let him play with them, he learned how to move around, and his mommy and daddy were cheering him on.

This might have been the best day ever!

"And how does that make you feel," Sigmund Freud asked the creator as they watched what happened.

"Well… fine. I have no problem with Dil when he isn't being greedy. Now last time he should have been horribly punished for stealing things… like have it that he helps Angelica steal stuff but then when he goes to try and play with Tommy his brother refuses to be around him because he's worried Dil thinks its okay now to steal things. And Angelica doesn't give him anything and he realizes that stealing means you can't be with your friends so he apologizes."

"…that actually would have been a better lesson-"

"DOC!" Trixie cried out.

"He's a better writer than the show had, sue me!" Freud looked at the creator. "Now then… let us determine how tormenting babies has something to do with your penis."

"…what?" everyone said.

"It all comes back to the penis!"

"Oh right," Cassie complained, "Freud was a quack."

"So Dil will stick him in his diaper?" Chaos asked.

Lucifer grinned. "I did that back in the 20s…"
