Hey guys!
Out of tangent but I watched Spiderman Across the Spider-Verse, loved it and I think you guys can enjoy it to. All I will say is I really loved the main villain and I didn't see him coming.
Well that's about how my week was so now all there is to say is.

Setting the Stage
Yang was sitting at her campfire in her sleeping bag.
She looked at her scroll waiting.
And just like she hoped it shook, with Ruby's face saying Facetime.
With an excited look, she pressed the button and her sister's face showed up.
"Yang!"
Her little sister's silver eyes beamed.
"Are you ok? Has he hurt you?!"
Yang chuckled, it was funny how it felt like the roles were reversed. These were the kind of questions she would ask Ruby those questions. Understandable since she's been technically 'captive' by a wanted criminal.
"I'm fine sis, that hasn't changed since the last time I told you," Yang replied. "And besides Ozpin's been watching since this started, he'll let you know if anything goes wrong."
Ruby looked down for a minute as if disappointed and stared back at Yang with a sad-looking smile.
"I know" She tried to focus on the good in this. "How's the training have you gotten used to it?"
Yang can see the sad look on Ruby's face and nods.
"Yeah, at first it was hard but I think I'm getting used to it." She said. "I think my Ki is getting stronger cause I've had my Aura restraints on ever since this started." She rose the white bracelet that glowed showing her Aura wasn't flowing.
"Wait if it's gotten stronger.." Ruby thought back to what she had said at the third day of her training, her eyes went starry eye. "Have you fired a Ki blast again yet? Show me! Show me! Show me!"
That was the only thing Ruby liked about the situation, her sister gets to learn a power that lets her fire lasers!
Yang smiled, she was glad to see her sister back to her usual self.
"Sorry Rubes, I can't, last time I did it I was unconscious."
And it wasn't a blast, it was more like a bubble. And THAT knocked her out.
She hasn't told her how sad her first Ki 'blast' was. It was too embarrassing.
Not to mention she doesn't know enough about Ki to use it like Kron does.
Yet.
Ruby deflated upon hearing that and looked sad.
"Sis, I promise I'll show you when I got a better handle on it ok?"
The sister smiled and nodded at that going back to being more sad than happy at the situation.
"Yang, has he said anything about Raven yet?" Ruby asked.
Yang frowned upon hearing that, yeah he did. And it wasn't what she thought it would be. She was told that the Branwen Tribe were a people of survivors but from what Kron had told her they were thieves and murderers. And her mother, Raven had been raiding villages and she chose that life over life with her family.
"Yeah he has, he still hasn't told me why he hates her but he told me a bit and I gotta say, she's less than what I imagined so far."
Ruby looked sad to hear that.
"Sorry, Yang."
Yang shook her head and smiled.
"I'm fine Ruby." The blonde said with a smile. "How's the dorm? Stay away from Blake's books ok?" She asked smiling.
"Eww, quiet" Ruby yelled making her older sister chuckle.
But then she frowned and looked sadder at the situation.
That made the older sister worry.
"Ruby what's wrong?"
Her silver eyes turned to her and asked.
"Hey, Yang? Have you seen Blake?"
Yang rose an eyebrow at that question.
"Blake? She's not with you?"
"No!" Ruby yelled raising her fists. "I haven't seen her for two weeks since this whole mess started! I've been calling and texting her and she won't talk!" She sighed. "Did she run away?"
Yang shook her head in confusion.
"Ruby, Blake's been here during my training, we talk whenever I get a break," Yang confessed getting a look from Ruby. "Has she not been going to you after my training?"
Ruby shook her head.
"N-no, she hasn't, but she's ok, right? He hasn't been hurting her right? He knows her right?" She remembered Weiss saying how Blake has kept a secret from them and that she knew that the Scourge of Anima was connected to Blake somehow.
The blonde can see how her poor sister was worried. She didn't know much about Kron and she didn't notice how he wasn't even harming the girl during their fight.
"No Ruby, Blake's been fine." She hesitated before continuing. "Has she really not been at our dorm? At all?"
Ruby shook her head saddened.
Yang was about to reply when she heard a branch break, she turned around.
Kron stood in front of a tree.
"Come on, time to start." He said as he turned around.
The blonde cursed that she couldn't keep talking to her sister but looked back at Ruby. "I gotta go Ruby I'll call you as soon as we're done for today."
"Ok," Ruby said with a frown.
Yang smiled and said. "I'll tell Blake to call you back ok? I promise."
Ruby smiled sadly and nodded.
With hesitation, Yang pressed the button to turn her scroll off and got up ready to start today's training.
And hopefully, get more answers about her mother.
A Jungle Near Vacuo
There stands an ancient ruin that stands tall and covered in vines.
A bullhead flew down near the ruins, with a familiar symbol, a wolf with three claw marks on it.
Once it landed many White Fang soldiers walked out and looked to their leader and…. her associate.
Sienna still wearing the Abyss Hide stared at the ruins, it looked like a military fort for some long-lost civilization, she then glanced at her 'partner'.
Raven pulled out the paper of the next artifact.
It was a drawing of a bow with a drawing of flame over it and a snowflake beneath it.
"Any chance we'll find something this time?"
Raven glanced at Sienna noting the tone.
"These artifacts have existed since ancient times, the maps I found that lead to them have been around for almost a thousand years, of course we're not every artifact is going to stay where they are."
The Tiger Faunus scoffed hearing that and kept walking.
Raven didn't want this partnership to end but she needed her to understand that this could only benefit her.
"You are wearing one of the artifacts, you've used it before, surely you're fine with searching for the rest?"
Sienna sighed, as frustrated as she is, Raven was right. The Abyss Hide had proved useful on a couple of her missions with it, she's been able to save many lives.
Without it, she would've died on a couple or would have lacked the ability to save as many as she did.
Still she was aware that this armor has a catch. One that Raven is choosing to keep queit.
She hasn't felt any different so far, but as soon as a change happens she'll have her interrogated. Even with that Maiden ability, there will be an opportunity she'll use to know exactly what the price is for wearing this armor.
"Yes, especially after you told me of Salem and her war with Ozpin."
Raven nodded, glad that she had decided to tell her as much as she did, she may not have agreed if she kept quiet about that, she may have backed of their deal.
"Still, I find it hard to believe that neither of those two wouldn't use these artifacts for themselves, why not search for them with their resources?"
The former Branwen Tribe member turned to her and spoke.
"These artifacts were created eons before the four Kingdoms" Raven explained. "They were created either by Ozpin, Salem, or one or more of the Four Maidens."
Most were meant to give people a portion of magic, others were meant to only be used by the maidens like the Grimoire she had found.
Raven continued.
"During the long war that Ozpin and Salem had fought, they used to hand these artifacts to their most trusted followers."
She wondered what those days were like, teams of huntsmen
"Over time centuries ago when the Four Kingdoms were nothing but tribes, Ozpin managed to seal Salem away for a long time." Raven remembered learning this history when she snuck into one of his libraries. "I'm not sure how long she has sealed away, but it was long enough for the tribes of mankind to grow into the four kingdoms we know today."
If Salem had been free she would have made sure mankind stayed divided as it was in those times. Especially since Ozpin had the cooperation of the four kingdoms most prestigious schools' headmasters at his beck and call. Making it difficult for her to take back the relics.
"While she was sealed away some people that feared both Ozpin and Salem, families of their followers that had perished stole as many of the surviving artifacts they could and hid them across the globe." She explained. "They feared that these artifacts would be used again either by Salem returning, Ozpin showing his true colors, one of the less benevolent Maidens, or someone else who'd misuse their power."
A wise decision at the time, the Great War would have been much bloodier if these artifacts were available and likely not have such a happy ending even with King Oswald, one of Ozpin's many reincarnations there.
But still, it showed how secretive Ozpin was, he never mentioned these artifacts that might have saved lives like he claimed he wanted. It was one of the reasons she left his order.
"With Salem sealed away so long and Ozpin focused on helping the Four Kingdoms form and cooperate these artifacts would remain hidden to where even he doesn't know for sure where they are, he only had maps that have a few leads to where they MAY be."
Of course, there were some artifacts that couldn't exactly be taken that Ozpin had created and wanted to remain hidden until needed.
Like the Maiden Shrines, even Salem has no idea they exist.
Speaking of she wondered where Cher was, she hasn't shown up all day.
Not that she minded. The ghost probably ran out of tricks and was bored of her not responding.
The two entered the building while White Fang guards guard the entrance.
"Then what is stopping them from making new artifacts? New weapons and such?"
"I asked myself that as well and discovered that these artifacts take time to create." Raven replied. "And for all we know either they are attempting to recreate what they have in the past."
She didn't know for sure but her hypothesis was correct with Ozpin remaking the Void Vault.
"Or making something brand new, and maybe more powerful."
Again she didn't know for sure but she was right in Salem's case creating Soul Dust.
"That being said, it's all the more reason to be searching for these artifacts, wouldn't you say?" Raven hoped that she got the point across, she wanted this alliance to last.
Sienna nodded hesitantly as the two kept walking through the ruins, these artifacts were definitely worth looking into who knows maybe one will be enough to destroy Kron, stop Salem, and save her people.
As soon as they walked in multiple arrows from both sides fired from the walls.
Raven spun her blade on her left with fire dust.
The Ice Dust arrows melted as her blade was melting them.
On the right side, Fire Dust arrows were firing.
Sienna quickly took out her chain blade whip and swung blocking the arrows so they wouldn't cause them any harm as well.
"So, I know your plan with Kron, but what of Salem?"
Raven said nothing as they casually passed the defenses of the ruins.
"First we collect more of these artifacts, once we've gathered a good amount we find the other Maidens." The two made it passed the arrow firing hall. "I will offer them a chance to cooperate with us."
The ruin's second defense came, the statues standing over the wall began to move, they had bows and stone arrows with dust tips surrounding the duo.
Raven and Sienna were ready as they moved, swinging their weapons or running to avoid the Fire and Ice arrows.
Each of them avoided and destroyed the arrow firing statues until all were rubble.
Once that was done the two walked forward showing no worse for wear.
Sienna looked to Raven.
"And if these other Maidens don't cooperate?"
The Spring Maiden glanced her way and smirked.
"Then we'll arrange for you to be the next Maiden."
She walked forward.
Sienna stopped for a few seconds stunned at that response. She was willing to make her one of the Maidens. But she kept a glare as she looked down at her armor, best to still be wary.
The two finally made it at the end.
Raven opened the door and she jumped lightly.
Once it was opened it revealed a pedestal with a bow on one half it had a fire symbol on the edge. On the other edge it had a snowflake symbol.
The Spring Maiden took the bow off its pedestal and examined it.
She took out the paper to look at the description.
After putting it away she looked at a statue and held the bow like you expect an archer to with the fire symbol edge up.
Raven pulled on the string and a line of fire showed. She then released the string and the line of fire formed into an arrow that burned the statue.
No arrows were needed for the bow just pull on the string.
"With the fire symbol on this edge pointed up pulling on the string releases an arrow of flame." She then brought the bow to the other side to show the symbol of a snowflake. "And obviously with the snow symbol up, it should be obvious."
She pulled on the string and released it fired an arrow made of ice and turned the covered statue into ice.
Raven put the bow down.
"That's good, this is the Dawn Dusk Bow." She explained as she looked at the symbols on the edge. "Depending on which half is on top it can fire magic arrows of fire or ice, and it's unlimited."
Sienna crossed her arms.
"All well and good, but it seems underwhelming if you're planning to combat Kron with that."
Raven walked over to a window and sees a large statue standing a great distance away from the ruins. It was about the size of a three-story building.
"Your men are not anywhere near that statue, correct?"
Sienna looked outside and turned to her partner. "Yes, why?"
Raven didn't answer, with the fire edge of the bow up she pulled the string and released the string.
The arrow of fire was launched, and it grew as it got farther and farther away. It became the size of a spear as it collided with the statue's head.
It created a huge fiery explosion as it pierced the statue's head and crumbled. The entire statue fell from the impact of the fire arrow and turned to rubble.
Raven smirked as she glanced at Sienna who had a more surprised expression.
"The bow's arrows grow stronger the farther away it travels." She explained as she looked at the woman. "Of course, it takes skill to aim a bow, luckily my father taught me a thing or two on how to wield a bow for hunting deer."
One of the only things she would ever thank that monster for.
Sienna looked at the rubble of the statue and looked back at Raven.
"I see your point; will you be keeping that for yourself?"
Raven looked at the boy, it would be in handy if she can manage to fight Kron at a distance. An artifact she'll need for their final battle.
"Yes, but it's yours to do with as you wish, once I put an end to Kron."
She can imagine how to use the bow to it's full potential, still it might not be enough. Even more reason to keep artifact hunting.
Sienna nodded, even though she had some concerns for this alliance at least she is confirming that these artifacts are real even if some aren't where their supposed to be. And putting an end to the Scourge is a must, he wished no ill will for him, but he's proven that the Faunus would only benefit from his death. He brought it on himself.
Her scroll vibrated, she pulled it out and looked at the message.
Raven pressed a button in the middle of the bow, the Dawn Dusk Bow's sides sank into the middle turning into a a more compact form. She put the compact bow onto her belt and looked towards her partner.
"What is it?"
"Some of my men have found clues to another artifact." She explained and showed a picture on her scroll.
Raven looked with a frown.
It looked like a pot with a top.
She rose an eyebrow it.
"There's no description on it."
Sienna looked at it as well and nodded.
"Yes, perhaps we can ignore it, we have other artifacts to search don't we?"
Raven was silent as she looked at the picture, it definitely didn't look like anything special.
"If it's an artifact it is worth searching for, I say we find it."
Sienna crossed her arms and looked annoyed. She sighed.
"Fine, these artifacts were your idea anyway." She looked at the photo wondering just what exactly it was anyway.
Raven sighed, she accepted how long this over-glorified scavenger hunt would take still she couldn't help but think she was in a race against time.
And that's why she wanted to look into what that pot was instead of ignoring it.
Who knows when Kron will find her now that her link had been severed? And she knows he's alive, he has to be.
Part of her actually wanted him to live.
But she knew that it would mean her life to keep it that way.
"Let's go" Sienna said as she started to leave the room.
Raven would have followed but she glanced around.
Still no sign of Cher? Did she run out of tricks? Probably, she was hoping to talk to her again. She needed her magic amplified and was hoping to try to convince her to help her put an end to Kron and possibly Salem.
Oh well, she'll show up again at some point.
She needed her, before she can confront her rogue student.
She can only imagine how close he is to finding her.
Far Away
In the skies, a winged humanoid Grimm was flying and landed downward.
Eclipse stood and looked around.
Shattered rock, blood stains.
This was it, this was where his objective was.
He got on his knees and smelled some blood on the ground.
Yes this will lead him to his goal.
"Eclipse? How's the trail?"
The monster heard his father speak and made a noise that sounded a bit, whiney.
"Good" Dr. Merlot responded as if understanding the creature perfectly. "But son was that a whine I heard."
Eclipse made another noise that anyone would recognize as a child whining about not getting their way.
"Oh son, I know you were having fun with Ironwood and the armor, but this is truly important, if you allow the enemy to leave, they will rob you of your full potential." He said.
The mutant Grimm made another noise as if to say 'ok'.
"Eclipse please, I'm sorry about Ironwood, I promise I will find you a stronger opponent after you complete this mission." Dr. Merlot said. "Can you please try to have a more positive attitude?"
Eclipse wanted to stay mad, the mean man was fun. His armor made him try harder than usual. And then suddenly he has to leave for this new dumb mission and he's told they don't have the mean man's toy.
But this was to make him bigger and stronger so he can't just be too mad at his father forever. He wanted to make him stronger so one day he can find and fight his prize, the Scourge of Anima. He's supposed to be the most fun opponent he will ever have. He made a noise that most wouldn't be able to understand.
Dr. Merlot understood right away.
"That's my boy, now get going, we don't want him getting further away."
Eclipse followed the scent of blood and flew, intending to head to his target.
Who knows, maybe whoever stole Lady Salem's crystals were going to be fun.
Emerald Forest
Yang was always one of the physically strongest students around. She was actually the strongest over at Signal, no doubt thanks to her father and uncle's training. Every strength-based test she would ace with flying colors.
The only criticism she'd receive was over-relying on her semblance and letting her temper get the better of her.
But as long as the test was something physical she'd always be on top but now.
Kron's training was tough, monstrously tough. The tests he'd give would be easy if her Aura wasn't restrained.
He had her use her 'Ki' to her body and increase its reserves.
First, it was basic exercises, push-ups, sit-ups, squats, and weights.
Which using what little Ki she had was really hard, she never felt so weak in her life.
These two weeks she had jogged through the Emerald Forest around the fake ruins she and her teammates went through on initiation.
Swam in the lake to fish for food, which was a lot harder than he made it look.
Punch a tree multiple times until her knuckles bled.
And right now?
She's rock climbing a hill overlooking a lake.
The young woman grunted as she was closer and closer to the top.
After a breath she finally put her hand at the top.
A hand reached and grabbed her wrist.
Yang looked shocked as she was lifted up.
She was face to face with Kron as he stood up holding her over the lake below.
"What're you doing?" She's sure that he isn't helping her up.
Kron looked at her face for a few seconds.
"Huh, you don't seem as out of breath as you did last week."
"Yeah? Good." She said panting and grinning. "Now I'm ready for the next step?"
"No, this means you can climb again."
Yang's eyes widened.
"What?" She looked up and back at his face. "Kron don't you d-!"
Kron let go and watched her fall.
"Bastaaaarrd!"
She yelled as she fell.
Kron chuckled as he watched her fall, just then a familiar black blade attached to a ribbon was thrown, no doubt to wrap around Yang.
The Saiyan grabbed it before it could and turned to see Blake with a panicked expression.
"Relax" He said to the Cat Faunus as he watched Yang hit the water all the way at the bottom. She let go of the ribbon and watched as Blake pulled her weapon.
"You call this training!" Blake yelled. "What if she's hurt?!"
Kron rolled his eyes.
"She's fine, watch, if she doesn't come up in a minute I'll pull her out."
The Cat Faunus looked over the cliff with a frightened look.
Just then she sees a mess of wet blonde hair pop out of the water.
Yang took a deep breath as she glared and put a hand on top of a rock and began to pull herself up to start the climb again.
Blake sighed.
Kron laughed at her relieved face.
The Cat Faunus glared.
"Hahaha! See I told you she was fine."
Blake kept glaring and crossed her arms.
"What?" He asked with an annoyed tone.
She said nothing and kept glaring.
"What? She's fine like I said." He pointed down to her climbing the wall. "She's even climbing again."
"You're a complete jerk." She growled at him.
Kron rolled his eyes and sighed.
"Whatever just stay out of the way." He said looking down and watching her climb.
Blake shook her head and walked away.
Once she was out of view Kron sniffed the air.
"I can smell your scent I know you're just hiding in the trees!" He yelled looking towards the forest.
She didn't respond but he thought he heard her swear at him.
He scoffed, still running and hiding from him like when they were kids.
So annoying.
It seemed like he was thinking for a long time as he felt something on his leg. He looked down to see Yang who had managed to climb the cliff who was breathing heavily and grabbing his boot.
"Oh good, you made it, I knew you had enough energy."
"Yeah," She breathed heavily. "I did"
Kron was about to ask why she grabbed his leg and then he got his answer.
Yang pulled and tossed Kron down the cliff towards the lake. She pulled herself with her remaining Ki and chuckled. She flipped lying on her back and laughed.
"Gotcha you asshole!" She laughed that she got some revenge.
Just then some shade was over her face.
She opened her eyes.
To see Kron floating with his arms crossed and a blank face. And not even wet.
Yang groaned and glared. "I-I forgot you can fly."
Kron chuckled and landed next to her breathing heavily.
"Good try though, didn't see it coming."
The blonde sat up and grunted.
"I'll get back at you for that."
She panted as she breathed heavily.
"You, you gotta teach me that next."
Kron chuckled.
"No, not yet, you're still too weak, I doubt you'd be able to levitate a couple feet."
Yang glared at him and grinned.
"Don't worry I'll catch up soon." She said in eagerness.
Which the Saiyan did not dislike, he made the right decision teaching her.
It won't be long now before it's time to see how she'll do in a fight.
Yang breathed in and out trying to relax herself.
Far Away
Qrow was carrying Hazel on his back.
"Really should have gotten my own airship." He said as he walked.
It had been a few weeks since he's defeated Hazel.
He messaged Ozpin about it and they arranged for a place he can take Hazel to, in order to transfer him somewhere he can be studied, hopefully without Salem's prying eyes.
Still he didn't like that he left Taiyang alone, he hoped he wouldn't confront Raven alone. It wouldn't be pretty if he did.
Just a mile away and he'll make it to the place to have Hazel to be extracted.
He placed Hazel on the ground and took out his scroll.
A message from Tai had read, 'I got new info, Raven is working with Sienna, so it narrows down our search.'
That was good that they have an idea on who to look for.
Qrow messaged him not to do anything stupid until he meets up with him and was almost done with the Hazel situation.
He sighed, he had a feeling that message was useless, which is why he hoped that the extraction would be on time. He only needed to wait a day.
The huntsman sat down and looked at Hazel. He checked his pulse.
Still alive, whatever was in those Dust crystals was making him survive without food or water longer than they should.
Though looking at his drooling face made him think it wasn't worth it.
He looked into the bag that Hazel was carrying.
It had many black Dust crystals, it looked like gravity Dust, but the color was moving, like it wanted to get out.
Definitely not normal.
Hopefully, they can find and even convince Raven to go back with them. And unite against Salem like in the old days, only while dealing with the Scourge.
That's what he'd like to happen.
But if not, hopefully, Tai will be able to_
He stopped as something didn't feel right.
Qrow placed Hazel down and put a hand on Harbinger ready for a scrap.
Someone had followed him.
But who? Tyrian?
Maybe, hopefully without any of these mysterious Dust crystals.
Whoever it is, he'll be ready.
Just then a crash was made behind him and a shadow came over him.
Someone as big as Hazel showed up.
He turned around.
It wasn't Tyrian or any man.
It was a Grimm, not a normal one either, large man-sized, nevermore wings, bone armor on the knees and elbows. A three-horned mask on top of the head and most notably a green crystal at its chest.
Qrow immediately swung Harbinger.
But the monster backed away and... squealed? Did this Grimm just squeal?
Eclipse looked at the man and tilted his head, a green line forming into a smile showing how happy he was. His father was right this one was more fun!
Qrow pulled back his scythe and looked up and down at this new Grimm.
"Your new." No doubt whatever this thing was one of Salem's personal Grimm.
Eclipse reared back his fist and trusted his arm forward stretching his arm to Qrow like a Nuckaleve.
The Huntsman swayed and was ready to swing his sword, but he noticed the monster's mouth glowing green.
Eclipse fired a Light Dust laser from his mouth at Qrow.
It missed and blew up a boulder where he was standing behind him.
The monster tilted his head, then a shadow came over him. He looked up to see Qrow swinging his longsword downward.
Eclipse jumped back as the longsword slashed a bit of his mask. A smile came to his face, he was going to be really fun.
Qrow didn't know what this thing was but knew it wasn't normal.
He needed to kill it now.
The huntsman glowed red activating his semblance and ran forward.
Eclipse flew up and brought his wings forward firing his Nevermore feathers.
Qrow then started to change and turn into an actual crow.
This made the mutant Grimm tilt his head. That was new. Was that his ensemble? No his semblance?
As the crow made it to Eclipse and changed into Qrow's human form with his sword swinging.
Eclipse rose his arm to block the blade with the bone armor at his elbow.
Qrow pulled back his blade and jumped back to get some distance.
Then he froze.
"Shit not again!" He yelled as he suffered a vision again, one of Qrow killing more innocent people for his father.
Eclipse didn't seem to notice as he ran forward intent to attack the huntsman.
Just when he was up close above the two a boulder started to fall.
The monster grabbed the distracted Qrow's arms and brought his head forward attempting to blast him with Light Dust.
Only for a boulder to fall in front of his face.
Eclipse's eyes widened as his light dust exploded in front of his mouth.
That seemed to have snapped Qrow out of his vision and he can see clearly again. He quickly analyzed his surroundings and sees the Grimm injured, his Semblance really had improved.
The recoil of the explosion forced Eclipse's head to real back.
Qrow took advantage of the situation and pierced into the Grimm's abdomen.
Eclipse was caught off guard and growled, that wasn't fair, that boulder got in the way of his attack. He tried to slam his fists into the huntsman's head.
And Qrow pulled the trigger.
The fire Dust exploded into his abdomen and he stepped back from the force of the Fire Dust.
Qrow then pressed a button on his longsword and it shifted into a scythe.
And he swung up diagonally.
Eclipse looked at Qrow and heard a noise on his side.
The monster turned his gaze to see his right arm on the ground.
Eclipse made a noise that sounded like he was surprised and turned to Qrow.
He roared and opened his mouth in an attempt to blast him again.
And Qrow sidestepped and swung his scythe down over his other arm.
This time Eclipse was ready and caught the scythe by its handle.
He then brought his mouth down ready to bite Qrow's head off.
But the huntsman ducked underneath and kicked into the monster's stomach.
Eclipse let go of the scythe and skidded back with his cut-off arm getting pushed as well.
Qrow looked at the arm he cut off and rose an eyebrow.
Grimm body parts usually fade away, they don't stay usually.
Eclipse grabbed his cut-off arm and placed it where it was.
The black material started attaching and sewn back together, then Eclipse raises both arms and roared ready to fight again.
Qrow looked surprised at that, he needed to destroy this thing. He aimed his scythe forward and pulled the trigger firing Dust bullets empowered by his Aura.
Eclipse closed his wings to shield himself from the fire Dust.
Once the shots stopped Eclipse hurled his wings apart firing many nevermore feathers.
The monster looked confused as he saw no one there. He looked around and sniffed the air. He turned around behind him and fired a green blast of Light Dust from his mouth.
Only to not hit Qrow and hit another boulder.
With unfortunately a lightning Dust crystal inside.
Once the blast hit it created a large explosion of lightning.
And Eclipse was too close to dodge and he was shaking from the electrocution.
Then from behind a familiar scythe struck from behind.
It hit his neck and instinctively the mutant moved forward as the scythe managed to cut halfway through his neck.
"Damn it!" Qrow cursed himself, if only he was half a second faster he would have cut its head off.
Eclipse stumbled forward, his neck torn and making his head hang from the side. His body reattached like his arm did earlier and turned around.
The monster turned around and growled.
At first this was fun, but now it was unfair. This huntsman, he's strong, without the mean man's toy. Stronger than him, maybe as strong as him. But he hasn't hit him even once.
Eclipse roared as he was about to attack again.
"Eclipse!"
The monster stopped as he heard his father's voice.
"He's stronger than expected, retreat, you can retrieve Hazel and the Soul Dust another time."
Eclipse growled hearing that, he wanted to stay and fight.
"Eclipse, none of that, he has the upper hand you need to-"
Qrow appeared right in front of him and swung his scythe underneath him.
His right leg gets cut off and falls on his back.
Eclipse roared as he tried to get up.
But Qrow brought down his scythe on his neck.
The huntsman then pulled the trigger multiple times firing multiple times on his masked face.
As Eclipse suffered being shot at he tried to reach for Qrow with his long arms.
And Qrow merely pulled his scythe and slashed left and right.
The monster's eyes widened.
His hands were cut off.
Eclipse roared not in pain but rage as Qrow brought down his scythe.
The monster rose his body and caught the scythe by it's teeth.
Qrow looked surprised, at this.
"Eclipse! Retreat! Now!" Dr. Merlot yelled desperately. "Please! You can't win as you are."
Eclipse wanted to keep fighting but knew his father was right. He looked towards the big man, the one Lady Salem wanted him to retrieve. And the bag next to him that she wanted to.
He knew what he had to do.
The monster pushed himself up as his hands reattached to his arms.
Eclipse's mouth glowed green ready to fire more Light Dust.
Qrow was ready to dodge and counter-attack.
But the monster aimed down as he fired on the ground, creating a green explosion and a huge cloud of smoke.
"Damn it!"
Qrow looked around the smoke doing his best to listen to his surroundings.
He swung his scythe making enough wind to clear the smoke.
The reaper looked around and sees no one. He then looked where Hazel and the bag of Dust was gone to. Qrow looked around panicked that he lost what he was supposed to bring to Ozpin. He saw what he was looking for, the monster was flying away carrying Hazel away.
The huntsman turned into a crow and flew towards him, using his Aura to increase his speed.
But the monster's speed was just as fast, he wouldn't be able to catch up.
So the huntsman shifted back to his human form and aimed Harbinger at the monster.
He pulled the trigger multiple times.
Eclipse was struck in the back forcing him to let go.
Hazel fell and landed on the ground. Eclipse wanted to go and retrieve him but couldn't, he needed to get away.
For now.
Qrow ran and made it to Hazel on the ground.
He looked around knowing that there wasn't any point chasing the monster.
"Damn it." He looked down at Hazel's drooling face and changing glowing eyes. At least he got Hazel back.
He glanced around and doesn't see something else.
He cursed at himself, he wanted to go and retrieve that bag but it wasn't around.
Oh well, he couldn't get everything but he still has Hazel and he can take him to Ozpin to study the Dust that's flowing through his body.
First he'll need to take Hazel to the extraction point.
He needed to catch up to Taiyang hopefully before he meets Raven.
Eclipse had made it in a forest far from where he fought.
He roared clearly upset at what happened.
He found a huntsman who can fight back and he couldn't win! He was helpless! Why? He was just as strong as he was!
He slammed his fists on the ground like a child that didn't get his way.
'Eclipse! Calm yourself!'
The monster stopped hearing his father's voice.
'I know you're upset my son. But remember what I said, every success is followed by many failures, do not allow this to give in."
Eclipse stopped and seemed to calm himself.
'Son, I'm happy to see that you have listened when I said to retreat.' Dr. Merlot said. "But I am disappointed that you disobeyed when I told you to retreat the first time.
Eclipse made a noise that sounded like a whimpering puppy. He kept making it as if he were a child begging for forgiveness.
'Very well, I'll forgive you, just do not let it happen again." He said to him. "Now the choice is yours, Lady Salem has said to either come home or retrieve Hazel, I trust you'll know what to do if you wish to retrieve him."
Eclipse knew what his father meant and whimpered knowing that.
He opened the bag he took and looked at the many lightly screaming Dust crystals, just like the ones he had to ripen.
Grimm do not feel pain, but these crystals, pure concentrated Aura, it actually caused him burning pain.
He didn't want to do it. But he wanted to get stronger, to surpass the reaper that showed he was better.
And to prove to Lady Salem and his father that he can fight the Scourge.
With hesitancy Eclipse reached into the bag and pulled two Soul Dust crystals, smoke left his hands.
It forced the mutant to scream in pain.
'Very good my son, keep evolving, show the world that you are the next stage of evolution!'
Eclipse roared as his bone armor grew ever so slightly and his muscles grew again in the process.
Emerald Forest
Yang was up again all rested and started stretching.
She felt refreshed, it took longer than she would've liked but she felt she was ready to continue her training.
"Ok, I'm ready!"
Kron looked at her and stood up as his tail waved behind him.
He looked her up and down to make sure she wasn't tired.
"Ok, you seem to mean it this time."
"Shut up, it's not my fault, Ki takes forever to recharge as you said." She would have wondered if this power was even worth learning with how long it takes to recharge, unlike Aura, but when she remembered how easily she and her teammates were knocked around it pulled a stop to those thoughts. "Now what's next 'teach'."She said the last part with a sarcastic tone.
Kron put a hand to his chin and smiled.
"I think your ready to test your Ki against an opponent now."
Yang smirked as she got into her boxer stance.
"Ready when you are."
The Saiyan chuckled and shook his head.
"No, no, I might knock you out on accident." He replied and sniffed the air. "Good, she was still here."
He looked towards a tree which confused Yang behind him.
"Hey Blake, come down."
A few seconds passed and nothing happened.
But as if she made up her mind the Cat Faunus landed in front of Kron and Yang.
Blake looked at Kron and over at Yang as if making sure she wasn't injured.
"Hey Blake" Yang greeted with a smile. "Didn't realize you were watching us that close."
The Cat Faunus nodded and looked at Kron.
"Why did you call me Kron?"
She had an unsure expression on her face wondering what he wanted.
"I need you to spar with Yang."
Yang was surprised by this.
Blake was less so, mostly because her hidden ears were able to hear it.
"That's it?"
"Yeah, I want to see how she goes against a Beacon student with just Ki." He said as he glanced at Yang. "Hear that Yang?"
The blonde looked at her Aura restraints and looked to her 'teacher'.
"Yeah I get ya, the restraints stay on." She held her hands up and looked at Blake. "Come on, Blake, I'm ready."
Blake looked at her and glanced at Kron. "Let her get her weapon."
"I'm good Blake." Yang interrupted and smiled like she usually did before a fight.
The disguised Faunus looked at her.
"Come on I'll be ok, he's been fighting without a weapon and I want to see if I can do it to."
Kron was surprised hearing that, he smirked for a split second. Almost like he was proud of that statement.
Blake looked at her for a few seconds and pulled Grambol Shroud out and held the black blade up with her right and her sheathe on her left.
The Saiyan looked between the young women.
"Start!"
Yang ran forward using her Ki to enhance her speed.
Blake was surprised at her speed, wondering if her Aura really was restrained.
She swung the back end of her blade towards her head.
The human was struck on the side of her head, and tilted her head. She then threw a left punch to Blake's face.
And the Cat Faunus ducked as Yang missed.
Yang threw another left punch only for Blake to sway, the Blonde then threw a right punch only for it to miss yet again. She then spun with a forward elbow only for Blake to block with her sheath, she then kicked aiming for Blake's side and again it was blocked with her sheath.
The disguised Faunus then threw her own kick across Yang's face.
And that made the blonde move her head and step multiple times fighting to stay on her feet. She growled, not at Blake but at the fact she hasn't landed a hit yet. She's so used to charging it in and using her semblance to feed her power to outmuscle her opponent. But her Aura is restrained right now and her Semblance is unavailable.
Blake clearly had the advantage but she was surprised at how strong she was. She expected she'd only be as strong as an athletic civilian but she's proven to be a bit more than a normal person.
She looked over at Kron who was observing. She wondered how strong she'd be with her Aura too.
Yang charged forward with another left punch.
Only for Blake to raise her blade to block with the flat of her blade.
But Yang stopped and threw a straight right.
And Blake couldn't see the feint coming as she was struck in the face.
"Yes got you!"
Then eager she threw another punch aimed at her partner's face.
But Blake recovered quickly and ducked and struck with the back of her sword again in Yang's stomach.
"Gah!" The blonde keeled over from the strike, more than she should. Clearly, she doesn't have as much Ki as Aura right now.
The Cat Faunus stepped back watching her opponent.
Yang grits her teeth and ran forward and tried to throw another punch.
Blake had trained with Yang enough to know that she was giving into her anger and leaving herself open. No doubt frustrated that her 'Ki' isn't as strong as she wanted it to be.
Yang threw multiple Ki-enhanced punches only for each one to either be evaded or blocked.
The golden-haired girl threw a punch only to stop short for a feint and threw a punch aimed at her abdomen.
Once the fist made contact it made Blake keel over a bit. But just like the last punch, this didn't hurt much. She did feel it but the impact wasn't strong enough to really hurt her as much as Yang usually does.
Yang growled as if angry and then backed away with her fists up.
Blake was surprised to see that, she had an opening and didn't take it.
She rose her sword up and looked at her partner. "You could have landed another hit, why didn't you?"
Yang shook her head.
"You could have used your semblance." She said to her partner disappointingly.
The disguised Faunus sees that this time she was angry at her.
"You can't use yours right now, I only want to make it fair."
Yang pointed at Kron.
"He doesn't have a Semblance and he still kicked our asses." She explained.
Blake couldn't help but think how that was a high standard. As a kid, he beat her father, Sienna, and Adam.
"That's not really fair." Especially considering he had abilities Aura users don't at least not all Aura users have.
Yang grinned and kept her guard up.
"I don't care, I'm not going to get better at this if you go easy on me, come on Blake I can't get any better at Ki if you're going to hold back on me."
Kron heard that and eyed her. She was right and he couldn't help but be pleased at how she wanted Blake to go all out.
Yang ran forward with a fist cocked back.
Blake sighed, she trained with Yang long enough to know that she'll take it personally if she holds back. Not to mention she was right, she won't improve. She'll have to show her how far behind she is if she is going to get stronger with this new power.
The blonde threw a punch to Blake's face, and this time it shattered showing that she was a clone.
Then around her legs a sword with a ribbon wrapped around her legs.
Yang couldn't notice in time and fell over.
Blake stood behind her with Gambrol Shroud being held by its sheath. She sighed as she untangled her ribbon.
Kron looked at the two with a bored expression, as Blake helped her up.
Yang sighed as she stood up and looked at Blake as she stood up to her full height, she sighed.
"Thanks for that Blake." She had a sad smile, she didn't win but that was fine just shows she has a lot of room to grow this power.
Blake was glad to hear that she was fine with losing especially given that she's had to train under someone she's not fond of.
She turned to Kron who didn't seem impressed and crossed her arms.
"So, how was that?"
Kron can see and recognize the attitude in her tone and scoffed.
"Not bad, you did better than expected." He put a hand to his chin and looked to the side. "Your Ki's growing nicely if you can fight that well against a Beacon student, considering how you were weeks ago."
Yang didn't expect the praise from him usually he'd either up the ante or say it could have been done better.
The Saiyan turned to look at a boulder and pointed.
"Fire a blast at that."
Yang looked surprised to hear that. "What? Now?"
"Yes now, do it, you've gotten a bit stronger these past few weeks, let's see how your progress is."
The sunny girl looked at her hand and over at the tree. The last time she did it, it was embarrassing. It didn't even reach the boulder last time it just popped like a bubble.
With a sigh, she aimed her hand forward and focused on her Ki. What she visualizes is a golden flame always active throughout her body.
As Kron said before she let her energy go.
Golden light came to her hand and released.
Before it was a bubble.
Now it was a ball that was launched forward at the speed of a soft throw, it collided with the boulder and made a couple cracks across it's surface.
Yang was shocked, she looked at her hand and smiled. She really did improve. Then she started to fall over, but Blake came to her side and caught her to set her down easy.
"I-I'm ok Blake." She said breathing heavily.
Kron smirked as he looked down at the exhausted girl.
"Good, almost a month and you went from Ki bubble to Ki ball, not bad progress." He said slightly condescendingly. He then held up three fingers up. "So you have roughly three months to save your mother from me."
Yang chuckled as she sat up and glared at him.
"Y'know you saying that makes me feel like this 'game' is rigged." She then lifted her arm and pointed at her Aura Restraints. "If you let me take these off I can probably get stronger faster you know."
Blake looked at Kron and sided with her.
"She's got a point, Kron," Blake said. "What's the point of restricting her Aura? Wouldn't it be better to use both powers for training? Especially since Aura is supposed to have a higher recovery rate."
She wanted to make sure that Kron's 'game' wasn't rigged and that he really was trying to train Yang. If not she'll try to convince him to change the rules a bit.
Kron looked at Blake and back down to Yang.
"Because I wanted you to focus on manipulating your Ki, with your Aura restricted you are able to put all your focus on your Ki." Kron explained. "Think about it, Ki is something new to you, you've only ever controlled your Aura, if you want to be efficient with Ki you need to learn to use it to its full potential and relying on it instead of Aura. That way you'll be able to use it like second nature just like you do with Aura, making you a better fighter with both energies in the end."
Yang wanted to retort but stopped when she thought of what he said. As much as she hated to admit it, it made sense. Ki was something brand new with different capabilities and different rules to it than Aura. So not having access to her Aura had her focus on her Ki instead.
Blake couldn't help but be a bit impressed at the point Kron had made and asked.
"How long have you been thinking about this? Teaching someone?"
Kron shrugged his shoulders.
"About a month, I thought really carefully how I would train someone." He bragged.
"Not long enough since you had trouble teaching me the first day." Yang smirked to hurt his ego.
Kron growled at her.
"Whatever, I'm going to train, that's enough for today."
He started walking away.
"Hey wait!"
The Saiyan stopped and turned back to her.
"I have a question."
Kron glanced at her over his shoulder.
"If it's about why I want to kill your mother, you haven't earned it yet." He said not wanting to share that detail yet, he wanted her to work for it. He then smirked. "Unless you want Blake to tell you for free."
Blake glared wondering what the point of keeping in her suspense was. And how frustrating it is that Yang herself won't let her say. She wanted her to know just who she was trying to save. Both for her sake and her own.
"Not that, I'll earn it like I said I would," Yang said determined. "You hate my mom so much, you want her dead, you even wanted to break every bone I had the last time we fought because you thought I was just like her." She remembered during their fight he kept going on about how she tricked him by teaming up with Blake and that she was a coward. "So I got to ask. Why train me? Is it really just because of Blake?"
The disguised Faunus said nothing and thought that wasn't a bad question. It would make sense, but no, Kron isn't that simple, she can't have that much influence over him.
Kron chuckled and turned around.
"No it's not because of Blake, actually I thought of training you Ki since the first day I met you, before I knew Blake was even in Vale."
Yang and Blake looked surprised to hear that.
And Yang had to ask.
"You mean the day my team fought you, you were going to teach me Ki?" So if he didn't know about Blake he would've made that offer? That has to be some rotten luck if that was true.
Kron shook his head at that.
"Wrong, but close." The Saiyan responded. "See my plan was to knock you out and if Raven didn't show up for you, I would have offered to teach you Ki hoping that it would lure her out, and if not I at least will have a fun opponent to fight while I wait for that hag to get you to teach her power."
Yang thought of that, would Raven have saved her? From what little she was told, Raven was a part of a bandit tribe, murdered, and stole.
"Ok, then why me? Why did you want to teach me in the first place?"
Kron looked annoyed at her questions but decided it was best to answer.
"I didn't want to teach just anyone Ki, I wanted to find someone with all the abilities and qualities I wanted," Kron replied. "I wanted to find someone with a power-based Semblance, with hand-to-hand skills, the drive to get stronger and," He thought back to their first meeting when he shattered her Aura but she wanted to keep fighting even if she knew she was outmatched, just like his last fight with Raven. "And the will to fight no matter how strong their opponent was."
He turned to Yang with a blank face.
"And you, of anyone I considered check all the boxes on my ideal opponent." He explained. "You are a true warrior, one that will take on any challenge no matter what."
Yang looked surprised hearing all that, she wasn't expecting all that.
"Were, were all those compliments?" She wasn't used to Kron saying anything that wasn't rude or condescending.
"Take it how you want," Kron said. "And you should count yourself lucky, before I met you, I was considering someone else, but he didn't quiet meet all the requirements from what I remember, and there was something about him that made me think he wouldn't really be worth teaching, definitely not as much as you."
The young woman was surprised hearing that, she thought he hated her and this game was just his way of toying with her. But it isn't he really does want to make her stronger.
"So, who else did you want to teach then? Who was the other guy?"
Kron frowned at that and turned around.
"That's enough questions for today, besides you might meet him soon." He replied. "Oh and at your progress, your bracelets will come off soon, and then we'll see how you can mesh Aura with Ki together, should be fun." He started to fly away. "See ya then."
He dashed away from the girls.
Blake looked down at Yang who was still drained from firing that Ki blast before.
"Are you alright Yang?"
The blonde smirked panting as she said.
"Yeah, I think I'm getting used to this." She said lifting her arm and looking at her hand. "Last time I did this I passed out, I really am getting stronger."
Blake smiled glad that her partner was seeing the good in this but she had to ask to be sure.
Hesitating she had to ask. "This training might decide if your mom's life, are you really ok with all this?"
Yang said nothing for a few seconds and thought of this whole situation. She wanted to find her mother for so long. Not to replace the one she lost, but to know why she left her father. To ask why she left her. And now that she knows that she had a Semblance that can basically teleport her mother to her whenever she wants. Yang now knows she could have visited whenever she wanted.
And the reason she never visited was to lead a tribe of bandits.
She chose them over her team, over her family.
Yang sat up and looked at Blake.
"To be honest I don't know, form what he's told me I don't think my mom, Raven would've been a good person to have in my life." She said with a sad smile. But she had a determined glare. "But I don't know anything about her until I train hard enough to get my answers." She punched a fist into her palm. "And whatever she did, I'll do my best to save her, and whatever happens I won't let my mom or any of her problems put my you guys in danger ever again."
The disguised Faunus looked sadly at her but nodded, she wasn't close to her mother which is probably for the best after what she wasn't who knows how she would have turned out because of it. Still, she can tell that she was having a hard time with this.
"And what about you Blake." Yang asked. "Ruby told me that you haven't been seeing her or Weiss, have you been keeping an eye on me like this away from Beacon this whole time?"
Blake put a hand on her elbow and looked away from her.
"I just, I haven't figured out what to say to them."
It was a terrible excuse, truth be told she didn't know what she should tell Weiss, she had tried so hard to keep her heritage a secret from her. And now it failed given her connection to Kron Weiss fully believes that he is connected to the White Fang and now likely her as well. Which she would be right about.
Yang frowned looking at her partner.
"Blake, listen Ruby's worried about you, I know Weiss has a problem with you but can you at least talk to Ruby? She's been messaging you nonstop and you haven't answered."
The Cat Faunus looked guilty hearing that, she was right. She was being a hypocrite for keeping an eye on one teammate and not her leader. With a sigh she nodded.
"Your right, I'm sorry I'll talk to her, and I'll try to talk to Weiss, as soon as I figure out what to say."
She couldn't run away from her problems forever, she can try to keep Yang safe from Kron of all people then she can confront her issues with the SDC, her connection to the White Fang, she needs to face Weiss at some point.
Yang nodded with a smile and she grunted as she sat up.
A frown was formed on her face as she glanced at Blake.
"So I still don't want you to tell me what happened and get Kron to tell me." Yang began and turned to Blake. "But you know what my mom did, can you just tell me." She wanted the answer but hesitated, she almost didn't want to ask.
With a deep breath, Yang asked. "Was what my mom did to him, that bad?" She waited patiently for the answer.
Blake's eyes widened and she flinched at that question.
She thought of the Menagerie incident, how Kron had been locked up unable to see her mother when her father discovered him at his home. He lost control fought his way out, then he beaten down Adam, her father, and maimed Sienna.
After that day she begged Adam to train her, to help track Kron down and bring him to justice.
And if they couldn't capture him, she may have wanted to kill him if possible.
But then she found out what happened that night.
Raven had orchestrated it all, she had given Ghira the information indirectly, so that Kron would feel betrayed and act out. Her father acted out, and so did Kron.
Yes like Kron had said he chose to react the way he did. But if her father hadn't reacted the way he did and allowed her mother to see him maybe something different could have happened. If Raven hadn't interfered maybe her father wouldn't have panicked. No, after talking to Kron, she knows something else would've happened if Raven hadn't interfered.
She imagined a young Kron and her with her parents.
Maybe something like that.
Blake looked at Yang, she wanted to lie and say it wasn't.
"Yes, it was that bad."
Yang looked sad hearing that and looked down.
From that statement, and what she's heard of Raven, it made her wonder if she's even worth saving.
Edge of the Emerald Forest
Kron had made it to a particular spot and crossed his arms waiting impatiently.
Ozpin came into view from behind a tree.
"Finally what took you so long?" The Saiyan asked clearly he waited longer than he would have liked.
"Apologies, some students have been needing some tutoring from me." The headmaster said thinking of a certain team.
"Whatever, anyway Ozpin, I wanted to discuss something about the training."
The headmaster waited patiently holding his cane.
"Yang's ki has grown quickly, just as I thought." He remembered explaining how Ki is easier to increase than Aura. Though of course she still wouldn't match the grown pace of a Saiyans. "She'll be ready to lose the Aura restraints pretty soon, and when that happens she'll need an opponent to test both energies on."
Ozpin kept silent to listen.
"I know just the guy, but I would need your approval so you don't interfere," Kron explained. "If you agree I'll be there to make sure nothing serious happens."
The headmaster was slightly surprised hearing him negotiate. With his level of power he wouldn't be able to stop him from doing whatever he wants, as unfortunate as it is to admit.
Times like this he wished he could tell Taiyang and Qrow about the deal with the Scourge. But he couldn't. This was their chance to learn about Kron's power and use it to do some good. Maybe have an advantage against Salem. They will be angry, especially Taiyang, but it was all for the good of humanity.
And it'd be wise to hear what he has to say.
"What do you suggest?"
Just what is Kron's idea for Yang's training? How dangerous is it? Will Ozpin agree? And if he doesn't will that stop the Scourge of Anima from doing whatever he wants?
Find out next time! On One's Own Path!
Well that's all for today. Hope u guys enjoyed the interactions with Kron and the surprise fight with Eclipse vs Qrow.
Hope u guys also liked the Dusk Dawn Bow, that'll be in handy if Raven can get a distance between herself and Kron.
And now Eclipse is ripening more Soul Dust, that ain't good.
And Yang's getting closer to finding out what Raven did. Wonder what she'll do when she finds out, she'll be more than a bit disappointed that's for sure.
And for those of u who are wondering when he'll talk to Ruby and Weiss, don't worry he will I've planned that, just be patient ok?
Guess that's all there is to say.
Review Responces.
random reviewer: I wish I knew about them before I had Kron go to Atlas, could've been fun. Thx for letting me know though, I'll use them in the future.
Guest: Well Qrow did do that when he found what she did to the last Spring Maiden, Ozpin he's kinda already doing that with Kron's game.
anon563: Pretty close, more bangs of hair and the belt should be a sash, similar to the pants you see on a fusion from the dance
Da: Oh he is, and he's struggling to figure out where he came from. If there were more of him he definitely would have seen him.
About Gine, she was a low class soldier on Bardocks team until she got injured so she'd absolutely solo Remnant.
Guest: Weiss and Ruby will more than likely interact with Kron soon at some point.
Guest: Miltanie?
Guest: This Adam is a bit different from his canon counterpart. Why? Because when he was a child, he met Kron, a 'Faunus' that's so bloodthirsty that he felt like he had to tone down his need to kill. He's still willing and happy to murder any human in his way but he's not the crazy ex-boyfriend we got in the show. He now has an obsession with surpassing Kron instead of Blake. To answer your question, not after watching Kron take Sienna's leg. This Adam is still willing to participate in the Beacon Fall but he's not the murder happy maniac we know and many of us hate.
Ok, I guess that makes more sense than energy since that's what the Dub calls Ki.
Interesting that u point that out.
During this deal Ozpin is trying to learn as much as possible from Kron and since Kron likes to talk and does not like lying he can get a good amount of info from him.
Funny thing, at this point u can argue that Kron's father who isn't even a low class is still stronger than him? Why? Cause he lived on Planet Vegeta's 10x earth's gravity for more than two decades while Kron had trained and gotten a couple Zenkais on a planet with less gravity. So imagine that conversation if Kron is willing to admit it.
ThatSaiyaGuy: Thank u. Well I'm glad that I warmed u up to it. Another point to make is that, Remnant has no dragon balls, so if we want the RWBY characters to survive they're gonna need to learn Ki, the sooner the better. Even Kron won't survive and for him to grow he either needs the Void Vault, or strong opponents for him to stand a chance when it's time for space stuff. So that's why I decided to write RWBY characters getting Ki training this early, plus, with Soul Dust and Eclipse running around, they'll need it to survive they're own planet. Especially since again Remnant has no dragon balls.
Glad u liked what I wrote for Weiss. She likely will she hasn't matured enough yet, and Blake will probably not be able to help the situation.
Cinder absolutely knows Adam knows more than he's saying. Hopefully she doesn't find out for Kali's sake and hers. I don't think it's a smart idea to press the Kali Button.
As for Kron learning something knew, it's possible. The more he understands his power the more he can see how capable it is. So we'll see.
As for Dust in the Remnant's humanity's bloodstream. There's a legend in RWBY that mankind evolved from Dust. So I decided to write that this generation of humanity evolved from Dust that allows them to access Aura. I took this concept from a Fallout 3 x RWBY crossover I read awhile back. Think of it as the difference in Remnant's human DNA to DBZ's human DNA, that will be the key to make them stronger than the humans in DBZ and not end up as canon fodder. Poor bastards.
And I'm glad u enjoyed the DBZ style endings I hope u can keep enjoying them.
epantoja: Thank u. Hope it still is.
Flowjam: Yep, nice intro for him! :)
Lelouch of Zero: Thank you! I'm glad your enjoying the irony of Kron making use out of what his dad taught him and something tells me there's no end to his creativity, hope you'll enjoy it! Lol, that's the best analogy to describe it. And thank u again!
ZamasuAutonomous22: Thank u. Well I just feel like it's best for Kron and Remnant to solve their own problems instead of relying on Goku and the gang.
PM'd u and u seem to improve.
I'll do my best :)
Runeion: So I remember your idea don't worry it will come into play but that'll be later when they get stronger. I think you'll like it. As for magic, maybe or it could make it worse, guess it depends on how well she can control magic.
Well guess that's it for today.
Hope u guys liked this weeks chapter and hope to see in the next one.
Have an awesoem day! :)
