The Dragon VS The Bull
Three days ago...
Kron had captured a White Fang agent that Roman had told him about. He held the masked individual up by his collar.
"Ok," The Saiyan began the routine he developed while searching for his prey. "Adam Taurus, Cinder Fall, Mercury Black, Emerald" He paused trying to remember the last one. "Sustrai, or Sutai something I don't know, anyway, any idea where I can find them? Any of them?"
The White Fang member breathed in and out.
"I um"
Guess he'll have to bring him to Neo. Which is annoying normally they cry and wail before they give him any answers if they had any.
"I know where Adam Taurus is, or rather where he will be."
Oh, that's convenient.
"Where?"
"In a warehouse on the outskirts of the city, at 5 pm." He explained. "A lot of us were to go there to receive new weapons."
Behind the mask, Kron rose an eyebrow. It was convenient.
"Ok, you seem more willing to give me the information I want," Kron said suspiciously. "Want to tell me why?"
"I- I hear other members have disappeared, I-I don't want to be one of them."
That made sense, he supposed. Of course they 'disappeared' to Menagerie he made sure of that after Neo threatened to kill them.
"Well, I'm gonna have to make sure you don't say anything either."
The grunt looked fearful he thought if he had done as Adam had instructed he'd be spared. He closed his eyes waiting for the end.
Kron simply knocked him out with a quick chop, not dead just knocked out.
He took out his scroll and contacted his newest, what would Roman call it? Business partner.
"Kron" Ozpin greeted. "What news do you have?"
"I found out where Taurus will be, supposedly." He explained. "I'll leave the White Fang agent here, for you to retrieve, if he's lying I trust you'll get the truth out of him."
"Very well, thank you for relaying the information."
Ozpin meant it, so far, Kron had fulfilled his end of the deal. He's kept his tracker on his person, informed him of any new information, has given them plenty of White Fang members and has made Yang stronger while being monitored.
"So, if he's there" Kron continued. "You'll let the fight happen?"
The headmaster frowned upon hearing that. When he proposed this he was against it, but Miss Xiao Long does need a strong opponent. It will help her understand how to manage her new power source along with Aura.
And he did say he would stop it if anything fatal were to happen. He's kept his word so far, but he asked himself if he can truly trust him.
If Miss Xiao Long can improve, she'll be a more formidable warrior. And if he kills Raven, she'll be the strongest guardian humanity can ask for.
"So long as you ensure her safety," Ozpin replied.
"Right," Kron replied as he put his scroll down.
He then sent a message that the fight will happen in three days.
A few minutes before
Adam stood with his arms crossed, anxious. He knew how stupid this was, but desperate times for desperate measures. The Scourge's presents have put a halt to their Dust robberies. They don't have nearly enough, even the dock shipment robbery was canceled, it was going to be a Schnee shipment too.
What a waste.
They NEEDED to get rid of him, he needed to leave. But for whatever reason Cinder is holding back on her Soul Dust, or her superior rather. If they had it, they can do away with him together surely.
He had arranged for many informants to know where he'd be and what time he'd be. To give him what he needs to leave.
Hopefully when he relays the information Llia had given him. After that, they'll finally be able to continue the operation.
He was aware of his process; he breaks in their base finds the highest-ranking member and demands answers. He enjoys talking that he'll use.
Once he shows he'll give him something that should be a greater concern. Then in that time, they will make Beacon fall, after he finally has access to Soul Dust, he will find him and be the one to slay him.
After he had motivated his troops he stood in his room waiting. He should be here very soon, and then he can convince him to-
Just then his vision met black.
"What?!" He shouted as the black bag went over his head. He reached for his weapon, but his wrist was grabbed and he felt cuffs on his wrists. He felt weaker all of a sudden.
Aura Restraining Cuffs.
Who's doing this? Not the Scourge this isn't what he'd usually do.
"Hey been awhile."
He heard a voice, he couldn't recognize it but from the tone. He had no doubt who it was.
Adam tried to move wondering what Kron was doing and tried to break free from the Aura Restraints.
"Sorry, but I need you for something."
He yelled and cursed trying to break free.
Then he felt his feet leave the ground, he was flying, taking him somewhere. What was he doing? Where was he taking him?
Now
Adam gritted his teeth, his stupid 'plan' had gotten him captured. He didn't think Kron would do that since it wasn't his M.O. He thought maybe he was just going to make him disappear like he's done to his subordinates.
He looked at his focus, Blake, standing there. Here with the Scourge was she with him? No, that wouldn't make sense.
Would it?
She wasn't so sure about going after him after finding out about Raven's involvement in Menagerie.
What was going on?
Kron wasn't happy with the situation. He was hoping they wouldn't be here, that Blake wouldn't be here. He doubts that she'll stay out of this with him or maybe even not approve of Adam being captured in the first place, even if she's not with the White Fang he's not sure she'll like her hero captured.
"Blake, what's going on are you with him?!" Adam demanded. "Why? After everything why are you with him?!"
Blake flinched hearing that and looked away caught off guard by what was happening.
The Bull Faunus then saw someone else who triggered him.
Snow white hair, blue eyes. No doubt.
"A Schnee! You're with a Schnee too! Why?! What's happened to you Blake?! What possessed you to be with these two?!"
Weiss flinched as she heard that, this White Fang member clearly had it out for her family but on a different level. She couldn't help but put a hand on her weapon as if scared that he'll attack.
Adam was hurt seeing his apprentice siding with those he dedicated to destroying. That they dedicated to destroying! Yes, she had her will to take revenge on Kron diminished but the Schnees?!
With a vicious look, he turned to Kron.
"You! What is this why have you brought me here?!" He demanded the Scourge of Anima.
Kron looked down at him, good he was angry, meaning he was ready to fight. But he glanced at the three members of RWBY, he could stop them from interfering but that could distract him from making sure it didn't end with his experiment ruined.
He put the black bag over Adam's head, he struggled but was unable to do a thing.
Adam screamed but it was muffled by the bag.
Good, he'll be quiet this way.
Adam thrashed trying to escape, but with his Aura being locked away his strength was reduced to that of a civilian. Being a Bull Faunus made him stronger than a human. And the black mask made him unable to hear or see.
What was going on why had Kron brought him here? And to a Schnee? What was going on?
Kron then turned to the girls, who couldn't stop staring at his captive as if scared that he'd get up and rush them. Even Yang had her guard up and got in the way of the three.
"Relax" He rolled his eyes. "I put Aura Restraints on him, he can't do anything."
The Saiyan looked down at the bound Bull Faunus and looked back to the girls.
"Anyway, I'm sure Yang filled you in already." He eyed the blonde. "But I told her I'd give her an opponent, one that can show me how much tough to make the training." He turned to Blake. "Blake, I remember how you were on and on about Adam."
Blake flinched when she was reminded of that. She remembered when they were children how she used to tell Kron that Adam was the best of the best. How she used to be obsessed with his strength and drive to protect their people.
And then he killed a human for the first time, he promised it was an accident. Only to break that promise later. Then more White Fang members followed his example, Sienna approved of it greatly, and her father had been forced to step down when she took his place.
She felt she had no choice, she had to leave the White Fang, they were becoming a group she couldn't stand for.
And now here's Adam, her mentor who she left on that train.
"But" Kron spoke and drew her attention. "You must know that the White Fang are plotting to destroy Vale, he is a part of it, and I know that you're not a fan of what they are today. Right?"
The Cat Faunus looked away from him unable to take what he was saying. And glared at him.
"I know that Ozpin told me." She said sadly. "But no, you can't have him fight Yang. There's no way Ozpin would've agreed to this."
"Agreed!" Weiss shouted as she walked by Yang's side with her weapon out. "Look, Scourge or Kron, whatever your name is" She began. "Stop this nonsense, let us take him to the authorities, you're clearly just going to get her killed!"
Yang said nothing for a few minutes, not sure how to respond to this situation. She didn't think he'd abduct someone, nor that it would be someone that Blake knew. At first, she was excited to fight whoever he brought but now she wasn't so sure.
But she knew one thing, Kron wasn't trying to get her killed Weiss was just angry
Kron looked at her and chuckled.
"Look Discount Winter" Kron began making the girl angrier. "I've been making her stronger all month, training every waking hour, why would I do that and then get her killed?" He asked. "Does that make any sense?"
Weiss grit her teeth and fought the urge to attack.
"Kron please." Blake began walking to Kron while eyeing Adam struggling to try to get out of his restraints. "Just take him to the authorities, you don't have to do this, you're risking Yang's life, you're breaking the agreement you made."
The Saiyan looked at her and was affected by her pleading. But he remained firm and argued about his agreement.
"Wrong" He stated. "The training is to be monitored, and nothing too dangerous." He explained to her. "I knew that this part of the training would be risky, so I went to Ozpin to see if I get his approval." Not that he could stop him, he just would prefer to keep the agreement, he wanted to follow the agreement.
"So I haven't gone against the agreement, not if Ozpin agreed to it."
The other girls didn't like this at all they still had their weapons out ready for when the Scourge released the criminal.
"Please Kron" Blake continued to plead. "Even if Ozpin approved of this, it's too much, don't do this, I know he's not strong to you, but even if Yang learned Ki she's only trained for a month Adam had trained for years to fight you, so you have to know that this is too risky. Please. Just take him to the authorities."
Kron looked surprised at her for saying that. He expected Blake to ask to let Adam go on his way. After all, she went on and on about him when they were kids. He knew that she was with the White Fang
"Please listen to her."
Kron turned to who was saying this.
Ruby stared at the Scourge and began to talk.
"Look, I don't know the whole details with you and Blake." She began. "But your friends, right? Can't you just find another way to train her?" The girl in red asked.
The Saiyan only rolled his eyes.
"Now that Yang has gotten an idea to use her Ki, she needs to have a real fight, one where her opponent is looking for blood." He glanced at Adam who was enraged and continued to try to break free. "This way it will increase her understanding of Ki and show her what other flaws she needs to work on." He explained. "And besides, Ozpin had a condition for this fight that makes it none of your choice."
He looked to Yang who had been quiet this whole time just confused and bewildered.
"No!" Weiss yelled before any more can be said as she walked forward and aimed her sword toward Kron's neck.
The Saiyan looked into her blue eyes, surprised that the Schnee was willing to get up close to him and threaten him.
"I don't care what you say, there's no way Ozpin approved of this! Now let us take him to the authorities, this fight is not happening!" She demanded and gritted her teeth.
Kron looked at her face, the scowl on her face, she shook slightly showing that she knew that she was no match for him. Funny looks like Yang isn't the only true warrior here.
He chuckled.
"Discount Winter" Kron did nothing with the blade pointing at his throat and smiled much to Weiss's frustration. "You may not be as strong, but you're definitely as stubborn as your sister." He walked closer to the blade making her flinch. "But you should know that it won't change what's about to happen."
Weiss gritted her teeth as she tried to pull her sword.
Ruby was ready to get Weiss out of there in case the Scourge loses his temper.
"Wait!"
The girls stopped what they were doing and even Kron looked to where he heard that voice.
Kron let go of Weiss's blade and turned.
Weiss got confused as she turned to the voice.
"Ozpin?" Ruby asked.
Ozpin was standing with his cane and Glynda by his side.
Blake showed relief seeing him here, maybe he will talk sense into Kron.
"I'm sorry" The headmaster began. "But it's true I did approve of this."
The Cat Faunus was disappointed and shook her head.
Ruby was surprised to hear that as she was convinced that the Scourge did this of his own will."
Weiss was of course angry and more open of her disappointment.
"Headmaster you can't be serious!" She shouted. "This man is a member of the White Fang, and too dangerous to be used as some sort of training! You have to reconsider!"
Ozpin closed his eyes shame welled up within him as he took the student's disappointment.
"I am sorry but you have to understand, that this power does need to be tested, and all the better against someone dangerous. In order to prepare her for the future." For the fight that will come from Salem, he meant. "Of course, Glynda, Kron, and I will observe and make sure nothing fatal were to happen, we will only watch until it is necessary to step in."
Weiss heard that and glared, she looked at Kron who stared back. She couldn't help but think that the headmaster was allowing himself to be walked over by him. But she remembered his plan, she didn't like it but it sounded like it was the best they could do.
"That being said," Ozpin explained and looked at Yang. "This fight will only happen if you Miss Xiao Long agree to it, it's up to you."
Yang heard that and shook her head clearly overwhelmed by all this. "Ok, time out." She pretty much begged to be able to process this. "This is a lot. So first, you kidnapped someone for me to fight."
The Saiyan was really starting to get impatient with starting the fight and just replied in simple grunts.
"Mhm"
The blonde continued. "And that someone is a terrorist plotting to destroy Vale."
"Mhm"
"And she's someone Blake knows?" She asked looking at Blake.
"Mhm"
Yang heard all that and sighed. Why did she think she'd be fighting someone that volunteered?
"Kron, what's so special about me fighting him? Why do you want me to?"
The Saiyan groaned hearing that annoyed that she was delaying the fight.
"Because he's the perfect test for you, he has a Semblance similar to yours, except he can apply it to his sword." The Saiyan explained. "Not to mention he has more experience and is likely more efficient with his Semblance than you, a month ago you wouldn't have a chance. Now? He's a proper challenge for you. And whether you win or lose, you can learn a lot from having a fight where your life is on the line."
The blonde heard that and couldn't help but see the logic in what he was saying. Sounds like she could learn a lot from a fight with him. She looked at Blake who seemed uncomfortable. She didn't know the details but she can tell that her partner didn't want this.
She was about to say she refused.
But Kron had gotten good at being able to read Yang and spoke.
"Remember your goal." He spoke. "You want to stop me from killing Raven don't you?" The Saiyan asked. "You've seen how much stronger I am than you, can you really afford to miss out on this fight? You need to learn as much as possible about your strengths and weaknesses if you want to stand a chance to stop me after three months. If you want to toss this opportunity away then fine, just remember if you fail to stop me from killing your mother, maybe this fight could have taught you what you needed to save her."
Yang listened to all that information and she couldn't help but see the value in his words. He was right, the reason she agreed to this training was to stop him. To keep him from harming her team and to save Raven from him. Yes, Raven had done something to Kron and Blake, but she still didn't know the whole story. She wanted the chance to hear from Raven what happened on top of why she left her family.
She looked at the masked captive. At Adam, from the sound of it, she couldn't just pass up a fight with someone he described.
Ozpin listened and couldn't help but be impressed at what he had said. Many would say experience is the best teacher, it looked as though Kron had learned that early on. While he can see some fault in the logic, he had a good understanding of what he is saying.
Glynda sighed while eying the captive. She absolutely didn't want this and argued with Ozpin that this fight was too risky. But when she heard the full details of his plan on interrogating Adam, she can understand why it needed to be done.
Still, she hoped that Yang would refuse.
Ruby was silent and conflicted; she wasn't sure what to say. What to do. She couldn't help but think what kind of leader was she for not being able to say anything?
Weiss was enraged and looked away. It was the only thing she could do to calm herself. She was disappointed in Ozpin almost as if she was angry at the Scourge for trying to arrange for this fight.
Blake had a sad expression, she didn't want this fight. While she did think it was for the best for Adam to be captured, she didn't want him to be used for training. Especially against her teammate! But she looked at Yang who seemed more conflicted than her. She remembered why this deal was happening, what was at stake. She sighed.
Yang wasn't sure what to say or do. She wanted to fight him but didn't want to cause her partner pain. They knew each other, and she wasn't sure what to do.
"Yang"
The blonde turned to her teammate.
Blake sighed and stared at Yang.
"Do what you have to, just, stay safe." She spoke. "Ok?"
Yang heard that, she can tell it hurt her to say that. But knew that she understood, she looked at the masked Adam and sighed.
She needed to close the gap between herself and Kron.
She couldn't afford to let this pass.
"Ok," Yang closed her eyes and opened while staring at Kron. "I'll do it."
Team RWB_ was shocked hearing that but Blake was a bit less.
"Finally!" Kron shouted and he stared at Team RWB_. "Now get some distance, you'll get in their way." He walked behind Adam.
Ozpin didn't like it, but his plan was being fulfilled. He was just glad that he gave Miss Xiao Long the choice.
"Children" Glynda finally spoke and walked to team RWB_. "Please grant them some space."
Weiss just angrily stormed off angry at all this.
Ruby walked up to Yang who had an unsure expression.
Yang looked at her sister with a frown. "You ok with this?"
The girl in red looked at Blake who had a frown but nodded.
"No but I get it, just remember what Blake said," Ruby replied. "Be safe." She hugged Yang like when they were kids.
Yang returned the hug much gentler than the last one.
"I will."
Team RWB_ finally cleared the area, along with Ozpin and Glynda.
Kron, Yang, and the captive Adam were the only ones in the clearing.
Somewhere in the forest
Team RWB_ was standing in the forest looking over the fight that was about to start.
Beside them were Glynda and Ozpin.
Weiss with an angry expression looked at Headmaster Ozpin and Professor Goodwitch.
"Headmaster Ozpin" She began with a neutral tone, clearly fighting the urge to call him something else. "Why allow this? What is so important about risking Yang, one of your students against this monster?" Blake glared at hearing that but said nothing remembering everything Adam had done. "He could kill her if this goes wrong! Why take the risk?"
He wasn't offended by her anger, he deserved it.
"Miss Schnee" He began to look at the two who hadn't spoken yet. "Children, Adam Taurus is a dangerous individual, he is the leader of the Vale's White Fang branch. And as we said they are plotting the fall of Beacon." He explained. "While Adam is captured, he will not talk so easily." He hesitated with his next words. "Capturing Adam isn't enough, we need to break his resolve, to show him that whatever they plan to have if he were to even struggle against a student who has only trained under Kron for a month, it will humble him and may bring him to give up his ambition with the White Fang."
Weiss had a hard time believing what he said, she had no love for the White Fang, but even she didn't like the sound of that plan. Capturing him yes, but breaking his spirit? She didn't like that at all.
"No"
Ozpin turned to who said that.
Blake shook her head and began. "Your putting Yang's life at risk for a plan that may not even work, and Adam may be a criminal but he shouldn't be humiliated, he should be processed like everyone else and earn a chance to start over." She may have left the White Fang but she had hope that he would change, like how she had hoped for Kron to change as well.
The headmaster heard this and sighed.
"Miss Belladonna, if we take Adam and question him like any other, with his ambition still intact do you think he would comply?"
Blake thought of that but kept her resolve.
"No, but" She wanted to respond but couldn't think of anything.
Ozpin didn't want to be cruel but he needed to drive his point home.
"What if he has information of an attack that will result in innocent people's death tomorrow? Do you think he will have a change of heart by then and help us save those lives?"
Blake wanted to respond but couldn't she had nothing to say.
"Still the main issue is you are risking Yang on this what if she dies for these plans?"
Ruby flinched hearing that and ran up to Ozpin and Glynda.
"Please headmaster there has to be another way," Ruby begged. "Your Ozpin! You always have a way!" She begged for the Ozpin she always imagined to reveal himself and find a way for everyone to be safe from harm like she always heard about.
Ozpin frowned hearing that, he would lie if he said that her words didn't affect him, it did hurt him to see the Silver eyes saddened.
"All of you have experienced Miss Xaio Long's new power." He said looking at the state of their clothing, no doubt they had sparred with her to get her used to her new power. "And we have witnessed it, she has beaten all of you without her Semblance correct?"
That was a good point.
Before Yang always relied on her Semblance as soon as she could. But with this new power, she never activated it, she was still slower than Ruby, but all she needed was one hit to knock her down. None of them could push her to rely on her Semblance.
"I assure you." Glynda began. "The moment she can't we will intercept, please I promise this will be the best for everyone."
Team RWB_ had nothing to say only looked sad unsure what they could say to everything Ozpin had pointed out.
Ozpin looked at the clearing waiting for it to begin.
The Saiyan walked behind the masked Adam.
"I'm going to release his restraints, once I do, he'll probably take off the mask and attack whoever's in front of him." He explained. "You ready?"
Yang took a fighting stance.
"Ready!"
Kron chuckled hearing the eagerness in her voice.
He then reached for his wrists and pulled apart the restraints.
The Saiyan then vanished as soon as they broke, seemingly leaving Adam free and alone with Yang.
Adam immediately rolled on and tore off the black mask. He breathed in and out quickly, still shocked at everything. And looked everywhere wondering where the Scourge is, or the Schnee, or Blake. He stopped when he saw the blonde girl he saw earlier.
"You!" The Bull Faunus shouted. "Where is the Scourge? Tell me!"
Yang can hear the anger in his voice, he definitely has a Semblance similar to hers.
She punched her fists starting up her Ember Cilica.
"You'll have to beat it out of me."
Adam growled at her for not answering and pulled out his Sword. He didn't care about the plan, didn't care that the Scourge seemingly let him free. He wanted blood and this arrogant human would do.
"Fine!" He shouted as he started seeing red.
The fight was about to begin.
Ruby looked down with a straight face at the fight.
"It's starting."
Weiss turned and saw the fight that the headmaster allowed to happen.
Blake watched down trying to keep calm.
Ozpin sees the fight about to start. Whether or not this fight results in Taiyang's daughter's victory, his plan should work.
Funny he can never get used to relying on such brutal tactics. But it needed to happen both for Miss Xiao-Long's growth and to protect Vale. As well as all of mankind.
Glynda had an angry face clearly not happy with this but focused on the fight to intervene when it was time.
The headmaster hoped that the ends will justify the means, he turned to see where Kron had gone, not far from them it seems.
Kron
Kron stood on a tree branch looking at the plain where the fight was going to happen.
He smiled.
Finally, the fight can happen, and he can see how far his Ki training had taken Yang.
Funny, he felt more excitement out of this than any fight he's gotten this year.
Strange.
Must be because there's a chance Yang will lose, even with his training.
He can only imagine how he'd feel if he was in a fight like that himself.
Still, he believed that Yang would win. No doubt.
"Let the fun begin."
Yang and Adam
Adam waited patiently, he wasn't sure what was happening. Angry that the 'Monkey Faunus' brought him here and he doesn't know why.
But he'll figure that out after forcing this human to talk.
He took his sword and waited for her to make the first move.
Yang confident in her new strength trusted her arms back, blasting with her Ember Celica to propel herself forward.
Adam immediately rose his blade.
The blonde landed her punch against the flat of Adam's blade.
Behind his mask, Adam's eyes widened as the impact of the punch was much stronger than he expected.
Yang looked surprised seeing that he was still standing, when she sparred with her team they didn't block so well against her Aura and Ki-enhanced punches.
She grinned forgetting the complications of this match-up. She really was going to have to use everything she has.
Adam pulled back his blade to the side.
Yang threw another punch with her right.
The Bull Faunus rose his blade to block that strike as well again cringing at the amount of force.
He then pulled out his shotgun sheath and pulled the trigger against her stomach.
Yang was hit but remained standing as she skidded across the grass. She again thrust her arms behind her back ignoring the pain.
Adam was surprised at her recovery and tried to slash across in front of her.
But the woman thrust her Ember Celica to the right to propel herself away from the slash and to Adam's side.
Yang slammed her fist into Adam's cheek.
The Bull Faunus slid across the grass and put a hand on his cheek. He was seething, this girl. He turned to look at her. She's only a Beacon Academy student by the looks of it. So she shouldn't hold a candle to him.
This strength isn't normal! Who was she?
Adam growled and ran forward with his blade.
Yang grinned and rose her arm using her gauntlet to block.
Adam's blade hit the Ember Celica, he then rose his shotgun to her face only for the blonde to grab the shotgun and held it away from her face.
She held both Wilt and Blush away from her face and glared at the masked Adam.
The Bull Faunus glared back trying to push his weapons at her but to no avail. Neither was able to get an advantage over the other.
Adam kicked into Yang's stomach.
"Grr" Yang growled as Adam repeatedly kicked her gut multiple times.
He then reared his head back and headbutted attempting to use his Bull horns.
Yang was hit in the face and forced to let go.
Adam then swung with his crimson sword.
The blonde rose her right arm to block the blade and threw a straight punch.
The Bull Faunus swayed the blow and rose his shotgun to her face and pulled the trigger.
It made the blonde stumble but not out of the fight. Her face was slashed by the blade which made her face turn.
She turned to reveal a cut on her cheek with blood leaking out. She grinned and wiped the blood off her cheek.
Adam growled, that slash have done more. Surely her Aura isn't strong enough to take that much force.
The blonde through a straight punch with her left only for the Bull Faunus to rise his blade to block the punch storing the force in his blade for later.
Adam tried to slash again only for the blonde to block him again.
Yang then punched across Adam's face, she then spun and slammed her right elbow against his face, kicked his side with her right leg, making Adam bend to the side, and then threw a vicious left straight punch into the Bull Faunus's face.
The combo made Adam roll back across the grass, he stabbed his sword down to slow the propulsion.
The Bull Faunus grabbed his face, it made no sense. He can understand that Beacon students were supposed to have some of the best. He looked at the girl who was grinning and keeping a boxing stance. But this girl, she was abnormally strong, and she wasn't even using her damn Semblance.
Just who was this?! What was going on?
Yang started to have fun with this fight, the complications of how this started, went to the back of her mind. She thought it'd be an easy win. But she was wrong. Even without Ki this guy, Adam, was strong, strong enough to truly let loose with all her newly found Ki. And she was going to enjoy it.
Adam calmed himself, he needed to focus. He won't let this girl get the best of him. She was going to take a bit more effort than even some huntsmen. Fine. He'll take her seriously.
He'll finish her after gathering up more power from her.
Yang dashed forward while using one hand to fire a shotgun blast to quicken her speed.
Adam immediately went for a slash as he did last time.
And just like the last time Yang punched with her right to the side to doge and tried to hit him again with the same move.
But Adam was ready and spun and kicked her side.
Yang was surprised as she tumbled to the ground from the strike. She held her side and looked up to see Adam already in front with his blade about to slash for her neck. She quickly rose an arm to block the sword.
She then stood up while pushing aside the sword and threw a punch.
But Adam was quick and rose his sword to block again with the flat of his blade. He then rose his sheath Blush and pulled the trigger.
Seeing it coming she rose her arms to block the shotgun blast.
Yang put her arms down and growled.
Adam was again already there and slammed the pommel of wilt into her stomach.
That made her keel over a bit from the force of the blow.
He then slashed across her feet.
Yang's blended Aura and Ki kept a serious cut from happening, but the attack was enough to make her start falling.
She trusted her arms down firing a shotgun blast to lift herself up, she rose a fist and fired behind her while cocking back her other arm.
Adam quickly jumped back.
Yang slammed her fist where he was causing huge cracks where he stood. The girl growled; she was expecting to land that.
Adam rose his rifle, Blush, and pulled the trigger.
And Yang rose her arms to block instead of dodging. Every landed attack would only help in time, just like it will for him.
She sees Adam was no longer there. Immediately she turned to see him readying a slash. She tried to block but was unable to as she was slashed up her body.
The impact of the slash left a scratch on her abdomen and sent her into the air.
Adam didn't let up and jumped kicking her stomach and slashing across her body once again, making her spin, he then slashed at her back tearing a cut through her jacket.
Yang fell to the ground in her front, she got up, her body covered in scratches, she looked up and rolled out of the way.
The Bull Faunus landed and pierced the ground with his sword. Piercing the ground.
With a few pants, Yang stood a few feet away. "Whew! Man, I didn't think you were this tough. This fight really got a fire in me."
"Save it human!" Adam growled; he was going to end it here. He put his sword Wilt back into Blush.
Yang smiled covered in scratches and ran forward intending to use everything. Her eyes started to turn blood-red.
Kron can see what's going to happen, he remembered when he was a child when he fought Adam.
He was gearing up for his Semblance, he'll unleash it once Yang gets close.
And she's falling for it.
She's gotten strong but Adam has proven that he can keep up with Aura alone.
Looks like he'll have to intervene.
"Damn it." He didn't think his Ki training would lose to Adam.
Yang got in close to Adam with a fist forward, her hair turned into a flame-like glow.
No doubt it was over. Disappointing.
He got off the tree and was about to dash but stopped when he noticed something.
Yang was up close her red eyes darted to her left.
Adam was raising his sword, but it was fast, but for some reason, it looked slow.
It was so strange, why was he going so slow?
Adam rose his sword, the blade glowed red going to slash at her arm.
With newfound speed, Yang pulled back her arm and the slash missed.
The Bull Faunus's eyes widened.
"What?!"
Once his slash missed Yang threw a right punch enhanced by her Semblance and punched the Bull Faunus in the stomach.
Adam keeled over from the pain.
Then Yang threw an uppercut under Adam's jaw.
The White Fang member was tossed into the air, he fell unable to move from the pain and landed on the ground with a loud thud. He grimaced as he grabbed his jaw and stood up. Once he did he felt the pain, it hurt! For some reason, it reminded him of that night!
Adam then looked at his right arm, his sword! No! He lost his grip! The Bull Faunus looked up to see his opponent looking at her hand as if amazed at what she did. Now was his chance, he looked until he saw his sword a couple yards away. He ran to retrieve his weapon fear gripped his heart. Why? Why is he afraid?
He remembered the Menagerie incident, how a boy younger than he was bested three White Fang members, two were high rank and he wasn't weak either. And this boy treated them like a joke! He finally made it to his sword and grabbed the handle. He cannot lose his grip again! Not against someone like her. Like Kron!
But still, he didn't understand why he was remembering that now!
Yang looked with widened eyes, they were still red and her hair was glowing like fire. She was so shocked, Adam should have responded better to those attacks. Is he getting worn out? No, he's landed more attacks than her so far.
She looked at her palms this was the first time in a while that she used her Semblance and something felt different about it.
Her Ki, for some reason, felt larger too, but it's not just because it was mixed with Aura.
It's risen, she feels her strength better than she did before.
And she had better control over how to use it.
She grinned as she looked at Adam getting ready in a stance.
Kron floated downward beside the tree he was standing on. Looks like he didn't need to intervene after all. Good.
But her speed, she's gotten faster but she shouldn't be that quick. Sure, it's still a bit below his speed or even her sister in red but it was still faster than she should have been.
"You look surprised." A familiar voice stated.
Kron glanced to see Ozpin walking towards him.
"Where's your assistant?"
"My colleague is observing the fight safely with Miss Xiao Long's team where she is I imagine she was ready to interfere as you were." The headmaster spoke in a polite tone.
Kron didn't respond and just watched the two getting ready to fight.
"From what I've seen Yang's Semblance only increased her strength, while burning through her Aura reserves and leaving her defenseless for attacks and her speed also remains the same," Ozpin explained. "But now look, her Semblance seems to increase not only her strength but speed and durability as well."
The explanation made Kron think. That's how he figured the Semblance functioned and why he was so confused.
"Her Semblance couldn't have evolved, she had Aura Restraints the whole time during training." She wouldn't take those off every exercise. He then realized something. "But now, she's using her Semblance while she knows how to use Ki."
Kron began to connect the dots.
"I get it now!" The Saiyan said out loud. " Her Semblance, when she's getting hit her Aura lowers while increasing her strength, but it always her Ki to amplify her strength, before she didn't know how to properly use that energy, all it did was increaser her strength, but now that she knows how to utilize it…."
Ozpin couldn't help but smile, both had come to the same conclusion.
"Her knowledge of Ki is enabling her to use her gained energy and apply it to not only her strength but her speed, agility, and durability." The Headmaster replied and looked at the two. "Your Ki training has already given her Semblance a very noticeable upgrade."
Kron heard that and looked at Yang with her burning hair. He chuckled at the sight, he was right. Not only had her base strength increased, but her Semblance has been given more possibilities. More of a chance to fight him in the future.
"Hahaha," The Saiyan laughed ecstatic that his one month of training had taken her further than he thought. "I can't wait till the three months are up, imagine how strong she'll be then, and after I kill Raven."Ozpin frowned at that but kept his mouth shut, he only observed as the battle was about to continue.
Yang had her hands risen her eyes still glowing red and her hair a bright golden flame.
"Can you keep going?" She asked getting cocky.
Adam snarled that slash. It should have cut off her arm! But she saw it coming! That Semblance it seemed similar to his own but it also seemed to increase her speed.
"I will cut you in half!" The Bull Faunus yelled in rage, he ran forward with his blade rose along with his rifle sheathe.
Yang ran forward using her new speed and running to her opponent.
Adam rose his rifle and fired.
Yang allowed herself to get hit using it to add to her Ki and punched with her left across his face. She then spun punched with her right straight in his face and spun kicked with her left leg straight into his torso.
Adam was propelled from the strike and released some spittle.
And Yang punched his face with her right and rose an uppercut with her left.
The Bull Faunus roared as he was sent into the air again.
Then Yang jumped and kicked straight into his face.
Adam managed to raise his blade to block the kick but it still sent him forward.
Yang then punched downward releasing a powerful shotgun blast and punched down aiming for Adam's gut.
The Bull Faunus rose his blade and managed to block the attack once more but it still sent him down.
Adam got to his senses and recovered, he pushed his hand to the ground and flipped back as Yang threw another punch causing more cracks than the last punch.
Yang stood up still burning, her Semblance seemed to be lasting longer than normal. And she was going to use it to win this fight here.
She ran forward attempting to rush him again.
Adam growled, this was absurd, her speed, her strength. Both were greater than his own. But how? It makes no sense!
He rose his blade to block the attack again. He grimaced at the amount of force.
The Bull Faunus put his sheath at his side, Dust bullets won't help against her.
Yang jumped above him and slammed her fists downward releasing shotgun blasts which were more powerful thanks to her newly found strength.
Adam couldn't react in time and was pelted by a couple of fire Dust bullets. He snarled as he was almost on the ground again. He then jumped back as she punched the ground again.
The fiery blonde threw multiple punches quicker than most huntsmen could keep up with.
And yet Adam was starting to block them all with the flat of his blade.
Yang was smirking, she had the upper hand now. She's got him on the ropes, he's struggling to keep up.
Adam immediately kicked at her abdomen which she seemed to allow to hit, no doubt to fuel her Semblance.
He then slashed aiming for her neck.
But Yang rose an arm to block it and threw a straight left.
The Bull Faunus shouldn't be able to react at her risen strength and speed. But he managed to duck underneath and strike with the pommel of his sword in her abdomen.
Yang growled angry that he landed a lucky shot and threw a vicious straight right.
Adam had seen it coming as he rose his blade to block and sent him skidding across the ground.
He put his blade down and looked at the human.
No doubt, she was stronger and faster than him. In pure power, her Semblance is stronger.
But there's one thing he can use to turn this around.
Adam chuckled, whether he finds the Scourge or not, he will cut this human down!
Ruby sighed as she watched the fight her sister wanted.
"Look she's winning!" Ruby yelled. "Isn't that great? He's on the ropes now!"
Weiss looked at the fight and sighed. "Finally, good, then this can be over soon.
Both were glad that the fight that they protested so much was going to end soon. After this, they were going to talk to Yang about the next step.
Neither of them knew Adam and from what they're seeing he is the one struggling.
But Blake did, she had a look of worry.
"Ruby, get your sniper ready."
Ruby turned to her teammate.
"What why?"
Blake looked at her and said. "Because Yang is going to lose!"
Glynda rose an arm.
"No." She responded. "I will act when the time is right."
The professor rose her riding crop intent on interfering the minute that she knows it was over.
Ozpin and Kron
Kron had gone from enjoying watching Yang win with his training to getting annoyed.
"Damn it no."
"So you noticed?"
The Saiyan eyed Ozpin.
"Of course, I did I'm not an idiot," Kron stated and watched. "Adam is playing her, he's focusing on defense while she's wasting her strength." He explained. "Yang may be both faster and stronger than Adam, but she's made it too easy to read her fighting style, he's telegraphing and blocking these strikes even if she's faster."
It was the best way to fight faster opponents, pay attention to where they're hitting, block or avoid where they're going to strike, and his where they're going to be instead of where they are.
He also displays greater Aura control since his sword hasn't broken from the tremendous force she's dishing out.
"Idiot, she knows his Semblance, I warned her, she has to know she needs to make her attacks less predictable."
Ozpin was again impressed, most would view this fight thinking Yang had the upper hand but she was actually risking her chances.
"I think it's settled; I'll have Glynda call off the fight."
"No" Kron stated. "Just a bit longer, she can still win." He won't interfere until he sees the last moment.
The headmaster would have argued but knew better, he merely watched planning to intervene himself if it gets down to it. He trusted Glynda to intervene when needed.
Her power was a result of his training, he felt she was losing. Kron squeezed his fists, it felt like he was losing.
"Come on, she needs to use her head." He said out loud.
"It's hard to when you're enraged."
Kron thought of that statement and remembered his first fight with Sienna. He lost, embarrassingly, he was stronger but gave in to his anger and screwed up. Then there was the time he fought the Alpha Grimm, he won, but he screwed up his arm badly and needed to be 'saved'.
When he fought Raven a stronger opponent, he learned how to use his head in a fight instead of losing it in his anger.
Apparently, she had the same problem, and she hasn't learned to control her anger yet.
Yang was heavily panting while she threw another Ki and Aura-powered punch.
Adam rose his sword and blocked it again. It was working, that one had less force behind it, and she was slowing down. His body glowed red, showing that his Aura was faltering.
The blonde's hair was still a golden fire but it was now less bright, her eyes were starting to change between purple and red.
Adam can tell that she was getting angry and can see a way to win.
"What? Not so cocky now?" He asked seeing the rage in her eyes. "Why don't you just leave, you're embarrassing yourself."
Of course, he wouldn't let her go, he'd beat the answers out of her on where the Scourge went.
Yang growled and charged again. She threw multiple punches, he blocked a left straight, a gut punch, and a shotgun blast from her Ember Celica.
And he did not retaliate a single time, he was waiting, for the right moment. He wasn't going to just feed her Semblance more power.
He stood there in a defensive stance, once her Semblance finally reaches it's end, he'll land the finishing blow.
Yang grits her teeth glaring at him. She was so close to winning. She just needed to keep up her assault. She started punching multiple times releasing shotgun blasts from her Ember Celica.
And Adam spun his blade and caught every single bullet with the flat of his blade cringing as his Aura was threatening to break.
Not much longer, he can't sustain this much longer. He needed to finish her soon, if he can't wait for her Semblance to end then he'll have to unleash it now.
Yang stopped what she was doing her Aura showing again and threatening to reach it's end. She can't stop she has to keep going. If she doesn't win, then she will never stand a chance against him. Kron will kill Raven before she can ever speak to her. She didn't want that, she couldn't let that happen.
She needed to win.
Wanted to win.
Her Semblance will wear off soon, she had to finish him.
There's one chance, an attack she can't win.
Yang rose her arms and aimed her hands forward.
Adam looked confused wondering why she was stretching her arms like that.
Yang still had plenty of Ki from the hits Adam had landed, she'll put it all to use in one shot.
A golden ball of light showed in her hands.
Adam's eyes widened at the sight. A ball of light?
It's almost like Kron's Semblance! But how! How is that possible?! What is going on?!
Yang tossed her Ki ball, it was the size of a beach ball, far stronger than what she was normally capable of. A lot of the energy was built up from the strikes Adam had landed.
Once the ball left her, Yang's hair stopped glowing and her hair returned to a normal blonde. A yellow light showed and broke, both her Aura and Ki were worn out.
Adam watched the ball get closer, he thought back to that night he fought Kron alongside Ghira and Sienna.
Kron can tell what was about to happen, he remembered when he fired his Berringel Burst at Sienna, only for Adam to get in the way and show a unique ability his Semblance had.
He turned to Ozpin.
"It's over." He said in an annoyed tone.
He vanished from the headmaster's sight.
Ozpin was surprised that he acted and watched the sight.
Even he didn't know why he decided to end it now.
Adam swings his blade across in front of him.
The Ki ball seemed to have vanished and Adam's sword became golden like the Ki ball.
Yang looked shocked; she couldn't believe what happened. How?
Adam smiled seeing her defenseless and rapidly pulled out his sword.
A golden arc of light was fired from his blade.
The blonde couldn't move she was too exhausted and too surprised.
At the last second Kron appeared in front with a red Ki ball on his right hand he thrusted it forward.
The slash of golden light met his red Ki ball.
Adam's attack was divided into two and cut through a couple of trees behind him.
Yang looked surprised to see Kron in front of him with his tail waving around. He's here and that means, she lost.
Kron didn't turn around he just looked at Adam.
Adam panted heavily and his red Aura shattered as he took a knee. He looked at Kron and growled. "You! What is going on?! Why did you bring me here?!"
The Saiyan chuckled.
"Can't figure it out?" Kron smirked. "I needed you to test how strong Yang is, you were basically an assignment."
Adam stopped moving to hear that.
"An assignment?" He asked.
Kron chuckled.
"Yeah, and you fulfilled your role well. Thank you for that Adam."
"What?" An assignment? For her? He looked at Yang the human who almost defeated him. "Wait, that light, your Semblance!" He ranted on. "You taught her that?"
Kron laughed.
"Now you're catching on."
Adam couldn't process everything; his power can be taught. And he taught this human. And! And he used him as a test subject!
Suddenly a blur of red, black, and white showed through the trees.
They got behind Kron and stood by Yang.
"Yang!"Ruby yelled and wrapped her arms around Yang. "Are you ok?"
The blonde returned the hug. "Yeah, I'm ok."
Weiss sighed glad that this was over and turned to the Scourge and slapped his shoulder.
Kron glanced at the white-haired girl.
"You're never doing that again got it?"
The Saiyan looked at her raging blue eyes, she was no doubt imagining many painful ways to end him.
She aimed her sword at him again.
"Weiss, stop!" Blake shouted.
Weiss ignored her and focused on Kron. "Got it?"
The Saiyan chuckled amused by her threat.
"No promises." He turned back to Adam ignoring the sword aimed at her neck.
Adam was enraged, he was foaming at the mouth.
"You! You used me to train your student! And!" He stood up holding his weapon. "You bring me before a Schnee?!"
Kron vanished and grabbed his blade from his hand not allowing him to try anything.
"Come on don't be so offended." The Saiyan said. "You should be proud, you won against someone with a month of my training."
Adam enraged slammed his head at Kron's face.
Ironically the Bull Faunus fell on his back from the blow, his mask had a fracture on it.
The Saiyan looked down at Adam and bent down to lift him up.
"At least you won, so you'll be captured with dignity." He pulled him up, his mask broke and fell.
Weiss had her weapon ready in case something were to happen, she froze at what she saw.
And her weapon fell.
Adam Taurus's face was shown for all to see.
On his left eye, everything Weiss had been told about the White Fang had been shattered.
S-D-C was made on his face.
Weiss's eyes widened looking at the White Fang criminal's face. She didn't know what to do or say.
Adam enraged picked up the broken mask and put it on his face, it still hung. He snarled that a Schnee had seen it. He tried to lung at her but Kron held him back, he was like a wild animal wanting to lash out at Weiss.
The Schnee couldn't even get her weapon she looked at where she had seen the scar, she couldn't glare or think of anything. Why does he have those letters on his face?
Adam kept screaming, but suddenly he couldn't move his body felt restrained. He looked at Kron wondering if this was him somehow.
Kron didn't say anything and turned to see who stopped it.
Glynda arrived and turned to Team RWBY. "I'm sorry for all this, we will take it from here." She glanced at Kron.
The Saiyan looked at Glynda who had a light scowl on her face, she really didn't like this arrangement. Not that it mattered to him he got his way, but he didn't get the result he wanted.
Ozpin walked to Team RWBY and bowed his head.
"I am sorry for all this, but Miss Xaio-Long thank you for agreeing, you've helped more than you know."
Yang looked over at Weiss and Blake with a frown. She wasn't so sure that she did.
Ozpin walked over to Kron.
"I will be in touch with you, please let me know if you find anything else."
"Right," Kron agreed not in the mood to be in a smart alec.
Weiss looked away with a look of horror on her face, she walked away.
Blake watched her go, she turned to Kron who had a neutral look on his face. She glared, shook her head, and walked away, chasing after Weiss.
Kron had upset her, he knew that. But he accepted it. He wanted this fight to happen to show what else they need to work on these next three months. And she knew he was a terrorist, he was nothing like she used to worship. She'll get over it. If not, oh well.
The Saiyan turned to his current concern, Yang who was being held by Ruby.
"Now that that's over, we need to review, what went wrong."
Yang looked at Kron and to Weiss who was walking away with Blake in tow.
"Ruby go with the others I'll catch up."
"But Yang I"
Yang had a cheery smile and ruffled her hair.
"I'll be ok, go."
Ruby was saddened and looked at Kron, she had an unsure face and ran off following Blake and Weiss.
Once everyone was away Yang looked at Kron with a serious look.
"You had him," Kron said. "You had him and you lost, he played you." He said angrily.
Yang growled and crossed her arms.
"I know" She admitted, she let her anger get the better of her to the point where he needed to step in.
Kron sighed angrily, he truly felt like he just lost a fight. Clearly, the training he provided her wasn't enough.
"Guess we'll work on that first, before getting you to fly and shoot real ki blasts." He sighed annoyingly. "Something to remember, it takes more than brute force to win a fight."
Yang heard that and remembered something. She looked at him strangely hearing that.
"You said my mom taught you that?" She remembered him saying that.
Kron thought back to when they first met.
"Yeah, she did" He chuckled. "She regretted teaching me that, it saved me from her."
Yang thought about what their relationship must have been like. She knows that Raven had tried to kill him but didn't know everything. It was eating at her ever since this 'game' started.
She looked at Blake and Weiss running off. She accepted the fight even knowing that that guy Adam and Blake had history. She was easily swayed by his words, all because she was obsessed with getting the power to save her mother and get her answers.
She didn't win, but she hoped that she earned the right to know.
"Fine, but now I need to know."
Kron rose an eyebrow.
"Need to know what?"
Yang crossed her arms.
"I failed right? I couldn't win."
The Saiyan clicked his tongue.
"You didn't win," He repeated with annoyance. The fight was really close. Again, she had him but if she hadn't given into her anger and used actual strategy she would have won.
Her rage cost her a victory just as it cost him when he was a child. And left him vulnerable. Funny, he didn't think he could relate to Raven's daughter of all people.
If Raven did care for her daughter, then imagine how she'll be when she finds out her daughter who is the exact opposite of her in every way knows every dirty secret she has.
If they ever meet, it would make the Hag suffer even more, having her daughter know how weak and lowly she is.
"Hmmm," Kron finally came to a decision. "Your Semblance showed some improvement, so I suppose you pass."
Yang nodded; she was still angry that she didn't win but she truly wanted to know what happened with her mother. So she won't complain about passing even if she didn't win.
"But, you barely passed you got a C." He then rose an eyebrow thinking of something. "Or is D the lowest passing grade? Whichever is a lower passing grade you get."
The blonde rose an eyebrow hearing him get confused over something so trivial.
"What? I didn't go to school."
Yang smirked and couldn't resist a chance to mock him. "Not surprised to hear that."
"Shove it," Kron responded, he then closed his eyes. "Now as I promised, I'll tell you everything between myself, Blake, and your mother."
The blonde had a serious expression on her face as she focused on his story. This was it. After a month of non-stop training, she finally learn everything. Finally, learn why he was so fixated on Raven and what it had to do with Blake.
Kron thought of where he left off when Raven blasted him with the island.
"So after Raven tried to kill me, I fought an Alpha Ursa and three people from an organization called the Crown tried to capture me." He remembered the weakened state he was in that day. "Then your mother saved me from them, and brought me to Menagerie."
Yang was confused hearing that and would have questioned him why he said that like it was a bad thing.
He explained how he met Kali and Blake. How Kali specifically wanted to help him, not knowing who he was.
Then the part where Ghira, Blake's father locked him up when he realized he was at his home. She thought it was understandable given that he was dangerous at the time. Still he was a child, maybe they could have tried a different approach.
And then the fight between Kron and Ghira, Adam, and Sienna. He thought that Kali had tricked him into lowering his guard.
Finally, he explained the true reason why Kron hates Raven so much.
"Raven orchestrated it all, the Alpha Ursa, the Crown, Ghiral locking me up." He said remembering how clueless he was. "She made me think that Kali tricked me while she was helping me." He chuckled remembering how foolishly he took her word for it.
"No way," Yang said.
Kron looked at Raven's daughter.
"I know she's no saint but, how can she do that?" The blonde asked. "To someone who trusted her? To the kid she was around?" Her pupils were shaking disgusted at the story. Kron wasn't such a good person either, but the way Raven manipulated someone she raised, then when he met someone who truly cared for him she used that to make him rejoin her side.
What would she have done to her own daughter then?
Kron turned around.
"Who knows, ask her, if you can stop me." He explained and walked away. "Take a rest, do what you want, I'll let you know the new training plan later."
Kron walked away, he had a new plan already. He just needed to see if Ozpin would be willing to let him try it to. If he's successful than she'll have plenty of opponents to fight and improve. Sharpening her Ki and Aura usage. Of course, he'll need to show her to control her rage better so she would be a more efficient fighter.
Yang still stood there thinking of what Kron had explained about her mother. It couldn't be true, she was married to her father at one point. Was she always that cruel? Is that why he never said much about her?
One thing was sure, she needed to confirm this story with Blake. And if it was true.
She wasn't sure if she could bring herself to save Raven even if she could.
Yang hadn't won her battle against Adam. But now she knows the truth of what happened between Raven and Kron. How will this effect her training going forward? And now that Adam has been captured. How will Cinder respond? Is there anything she can do?

I'm sure some of you guys probably miss seeing Kron doing all the fighting but it is fun writing everyone else fighting and actually struggling. It's still fun writing Kron's fight scenes but he's guaranteed to win because as of now he's more than likely the strongest on the planet. At least for now.
So I'm sure some of you were expecting Yang to win, she effortlessly defeated Weiss, and her teammates without resorting to her Semblance. And her Semblance now affect all physical stats instead of just her strength and it lasts longer.
But Adam is also stronger than in canon. Why?
Kron, the day he met Kron Adam, Blake and Sienna dedicated themselves to training to one day take Kron down. So Adam is a bit stronger and more skilled than in canon, not to mention with more experience and was able to take advantage of Yang's anger to take the win.
If this Yang had fought canon Adam, she would have won no doubt.
On the brightside, Yang, now learns the importance of not letting her anger control her far earlier than in canon, and she doesn't get maimed to learn that lesson either. So I call that a win.

Btw I'm surprised that no one would argue that Ozpin wouldn't agree to Kron pitting Adam against Yang. I hadn't even put the whole reason why he agreed to it, but good to see ya'll trust me.
And I'm happy at how a lot of u seemed to have enjoyed how Kron just casually captured one of RWBY's Vol-1-3's biggest villains. Lol.

Anyway your idea is solid, I hope someone uses that but I do have something similar plan, but I'll think about mixing our ideas, it seems to great a gift to pass up. I'll definitely consider it.

Once character's get Ki they will be able to get Ki versions of their semblances and upgrades like Yang did. And that's before they get to evolve to. So ya, he'd be able to do that I'm sure.

Lelouch of Zero: Glad u liked it! Kron does love to show off it's proven to be a part of his character to enjoy attention. Kinda like a kid. Blake and Weiss still have some things to sort out but I'm glad your enjoying it. Yang definitely has overwhelming strength now, especially for early on in RWBY's timeline, but as u can see she's not perfect with it. Yet. She's only going to get better and the same for other characters. That's what Kron's after, he hopes that his 'Game' will be something he has to fight. Lol, and it's impressive he got Ozpin on board, looks like it didn't end well for most of Team RWBY, but at least Yang got to learn a lesson early which will pay off later.
ThatSaiyaGuy: Thank you! Adam was the other candidate Kron considered teaching so he thought it'd be a good idea to match them for Yang's growth. Plus Yang may have gotten stronger but she hasn't gotten a far enough leap to challenge anyone that can make Kron bleed, yet that is.
Lol, happy to hear you enjoyed the kidnapping. The hilarious thing is Adam had a plan, he thought Kron would do his usual and ask questions before a beating. But nope, he had really awful timing. I almost feel bad for him. And as u can see, Ozpin thought of that which is why agreed. He wanted Adam to be humbled, have his spirit broken and be more easy to interrogate. Kind of a harsh plan, but if Adam was plotting to make Beacon Fall, I think Ozpin would see it as something that needs to be done to put a stop to it. We'll see if it works though, it definitely humbled him.
I mean the guy was captured so easily, used as practice for Yang, he almost lost to her, and put in prison like putting a toddler in timeout. In front of Blake and Weiss. Only way this could've been worse for him is if he had lost. His ego definitely would have shattered.
Hope u enjoyed the fight and as u can see Ozpin had made sure they couldn't. And now Weiss's prejudice might be challenged now that she's seen what Adam is hiding behind his mask. Also thank u, good to hear.
