I spent the rest of the sorting, and the feast, in silence.
As soon as Dumbledore excused us, I was out of there, before my friends had the chance to say anything.
While I was sat on the roof of the astronomy tower, however, I heard footsteps approaching.
I hid behind the crest of the roof, and a figure appeared, clearly female.
They froze, gaze meeting mine in the darkness.
"Who is it? Who's there?" I stared at her for a second before moving out from behind the roof.
"You know, I knew there was something strange about you." I told her, moving until I was only a foot away.
"What are you?" She asked, and I raised an eyebrow.
"Me? What are you?" We stared each other down, neither one wanting to give in.
"Half-vampire."
(A/N): See, the reason I did it like this, is because now you don't know which person said it, until you go to the next chapter. Which, would have been all good, except the next chapter will already be up when you read this, so, no cliffhanger.
