(A/N): Hey Guys! This is the last of the prewritten chapters... Cliffhanger anyone? XD

Disclaimer: I own nothing but the right to kill of my OC's in the most gruesome ways possible.

Leo

A little while later, it was time for another full moon.

While they didn't envy Remus, the other Marauder boys did envy us for getting to help him through this.

They were still researching the animagi transformation, so it was just Elaine and I again, but that suited us just fine.

Once the sun sank below the horizon, and the moon started to travel, we exited the entrance hall, transforming into our animal forms as soon as possible, and headed for the Womping Willow.

With ease, we dodged the infuriated branches before quickly diving into the tunnel.

I went first, putting myself between Remus and Elaine in case he decided to attack, and, soon enough, we reached the shrieking shack.

'Remus?' I asked in my mind, and I saw two orbs of reflective light turn towards me.

'Leo.' He greeted, and Elaine pushed past me, curling up in my favorite shredded armchair.

Instead of complaining, I simply laid on the floor in front of the chair, still protecting her, just in case.

'I want to go outside.' He said suddenly, and I felt Elaine freeze.

'You can't.' I winced at the harshness in her tone.

'Well...' I said, and she turned on me.

'You're actually considering this?!' I paused for a second, and that was all the answer she needed. 'Leo! He could attack someone!'

Knowing Remus was hurt by this, I stood my ground, even though the last thing I wanted to do was to fight with Elaine.

'We can handle it.' She was silent for a second, hot chocolate eyes staying locked on mine.

'If you're sure.' She whispered, and I hesitated for a second, glancing at Remus before nodding.

With that, we left the Shrieking Shack, I in front, Elaine at the back, with Remus between us.

The cold night air ruffled my fur, and I sniffed the air for a second before moving aside to let Remus out.

'Straight to the forest.' I ordered, and as his alpha, the wolf in him couldn't argue.

I made sure I kept him in my sight at all time, keeping between Elaine and him as much as I could without making her suspicious.

Together, we loped through the forest, me having to hold back to stay with Remus, and Elaine, though Remus was also slowed to stay with Elaine, who was the slowest of the three of us in her normal wolf body.

'I haven't run like this in ages!' Remus yelled inside his head, clearly exhilarated, and I smiled.

'Want to go faster?' I asked. Elaine protested, but Remus had already sped up, and so had I.

'Waha-hoo!' Remus cried, and I easily kept up with him.

'It's pretty cool.' I admitted, and Remus rolled his eyes.

And then, all at once, I realised that we were nearing Hogsmeade, and that Remus's eyes had suddenly darkened.

'Remus...' No reply, he just sped up.

My heart started pounding, and in one swift move, I sped up as well, spinning so I was face to face with the wolf.

For the span of half a heartbeat it hesitated, before I saw the slightest change in it's direction, moving to try to go around me. So, I did the only thing I knew, with one hundred percent certainty, would work to keep Remus distracted from attacking the people of Hogsmeade village-

I started to change back into human form.

Which, for me, meant vampire form.

Remus's head jerked back in my direction, and I had just enough time to see his pupils dilate before he launched himself at me.

His claws dug deep into my sides, and I screamed as I felt my flesh tear.

'Leo!' I heard Elaine's desperate voice, but it sounded far off. Too far off. I had to force myself to continue changing even though the pain was making it nearly impossible. I had to give Elaine time to catch up, and get Remus under control- I couldn't bring myself to think about what would happen if she couldn't... If my body wasn't enough to keep the wolf distracted until he wasn't a threat to the unsuspecting humans anymore.

As I staggered, he struck again, razor sharp claws finding purchase all over my body, and it felt like burning agony as hot blood seeped out, matting my fur.

Just as Remus's claws met my face, he was pushed off of me, and through half-lidded eyes, I saw the two wolves battling it out.

As they fought physically, I fought to keep my eyes open.

Nonetheless, my vision quickly faded to black.

'Leo!' Elaine cried, but it was basically a whisper at this point, and it was the last thing I heard.

(A/N): I've been sitting on that chapter for how long?!

Also, I never said Leo was alive around the second wizarding war, when I maybe plan to kill Elaine off.

...

MUHAHAHA

*edit*: So, I had to change 'Weeping' to 'Womping' willow, and answer a few questions.

Daftdruid: James was supposed to be talking about Brooke, but you can take it anyway you want it really.

(also) Daftdruid: It would technically be possible to have Veela-werewolf-vampire genes in the same family, but I'm not sure if the species mesh.

Like, we know vamps and veela's mesh, but would werewolves and veela's? And, after all, vampire venom is extremely poisonous to Werewolves, and werewolves are just about the only things that can kill vampires other than hunters. Maybe, if they did somehow end up in the same family, the offspring that would result from a mix of the three, either the vampire-veela parent or a werewolf-veela parent, or some other mix, might simply only have the coinciding traits.

Such as, veela and vampire without werewolf, or werewolf and veela without vampire, or possible werewolf and vampire without veela. Kind of like how Teddy Lupin, offspring of both a Werewolf and a metamorphmagus, is alluded to only have Tonks's traits, not being a werewolf, though it is possible he has some traits of both.

Hope that helps!

This chapter has had some substantial edits made to it on 30/12/22 - Originally, the way I wrote this chapter made it seem like Remus's wolf attacked Leo for no reason other than that he put himself in the way, while in animagus form. I changed it so that Leo intentionally started changing back in order to distract Remus, and THAT is what made Remus attack him. Leo was fully prepared to die, and have his dead body be a distraction for the wolf, rather than allow the risk of Remus attacking innocent people. This change also better reflects the fact that Leo was human when Elaine brought him to the Hospital Wing, as explained in the next chapter.
