(A/N): Hey Guys! So, this chapter is slightly loner than the last few, though not by much.

This is the one that is one of my personal favourite's just because the last line gives me chills because it's so un-Leo, you know?

Disclaimer: NOT J.K, though I wish I could be that fabulous.

Sirius

I may not have been as close to Leo as Elaine or Remus, and I didn't know as much about his condition as they or even James did, but I knew better than anyone the look of a pureblood child who had recently sustained a beat down from a relative.

Despite Leo's super strength, speed and agility, I knew he was practically helpless against his mother.

I had seen it when they had run into her in Hogsmeade. She had used the cruciatus curse on on him, and he hadn't even tried to stop her. When she had put Elaine on the other side of her wand, however, he had sent her flying through a fence.

Unless someone he loved was in danger, Leo was literally helpless. Not just against his mother, either. I had seen Leo train before, how much less effort he had put into his moves than when he actually had a reason to fight, and how hard it was for him to strike Greygorry.

How worried he was about hurting the older vampire.

Despite his condition, and his natural animalistic tendencies... Leo was just a big softy.

And standing up to his mother suddenly?

That wasn't something he would just do out out of the blue. As always, there was something he wasn't telling us. Something big.

And, as we stood up, I grabbed his arm, holding him back so we could walk behind everyone else.

"So what really happened?" I asked, and he rolled his eyes.

"I already told you everything-" I cut him off.

"Don't lie to me, Leonides Judas Joannis." He winced.

"Everything I'm willing to tell you. And it's Ellwood." My eyebrows shot up.

"Why are you objecting to it now?" Leo sighed. "I only kept my name to preserve my mother's reputation, and I'm done with trying to please her, Sirius. On a list of people I'm completely and utterly done with, she's second under Jonothan." My eyebrows shot up again.

"Who-?" I was cut off by Elaine before I could finish my question.

"Your uncle? What'd he do?" Leo scowled.

"Other than the obvious, involving you?" She reached up to touch a spot on her neck, and I knew it was the bite mark I had seen a couple of times- and refused to ask about, given how she had reacted the last time I had asked her about a scar. I had learned my damn lesson. "Trying to kill me, among other things." Lily quirked an eyebrow.

"Leo, we know you. Trying to kill you probably wouldn't even put him on the list, and the fact that he's higher than your mother? He must have done something pretty bad." Leo shrugged, avoiding our eyes.

"I'm too young to have so many mortal enemies. Especially when neither of them are actually fully mortal." He shrugged. "My judgement of 'pretty bad' isn't the same as yours." He said, and Remus winced.

"We know that, Leo." He said. "Half the things I've done to you are worse than 'pretty bad', but you're still talking to me." Leo smiled slightly.

"That's because you're my friend Remus... And you're not even hitting a 'less than good' on my scale." I frowned a little.

"And where's your mother on that scale?" He shrugged again.

"She's a very, very bad." Elaine hesitated.

"And where does Jonothan fall?" Leo's face hardened, and we could all plainly see the agony in his eyes.

"Kill on sight."

(A/N): So, what did you think?

I think they return to Hogwarts... Next chapter? Yeah, I think so. That, or the chapter after out, but I'm pretty sure it's the next one.

Anyway, still on the ipad and all m. Fingers except for my index's (they're the ones doing the majority of the typing) are starting to cramp. Though, the index's are starting to feel like it's just bone tapping glass and I'm getting pretty tired, so there'll probably only be one or two more chapters uploaded tonight, depending on how long my sister's boyfriend is here (we share a bedroom and she stole it for the night), and how I feel when that happens.

Please review and/or check out my other stories!

This chapter has had minor edits made to it on 31/12/22 - Basically just added Sirius saying that he had learnt his lesson not to ask Elaine about any of her scars that he might see.
