CH 17
Three weeks later it was the triplets birthday. Tim was shocked on friday night since Elle took the afternoon off to start getting things set up.
"Elle my gosh, is this for tomorrow"
"Yes"
"Sounds like it going to be one hell of a party" elle laugh
"Yes it is, how did it go at widgery"
"Great the garage and driveway been done and next week the Peterson can move into the house"
"that is great news, and the bathroom"
"completed, they are going to love it"
"I'm sure they are. Has the Council approval for the police station and house"
"I went to the council today and got word it been approved"
"that is great news, so the building starts in two weeks"
"Yep, where are the kids?"
"Maggie and PJ got them with them at the pub"
"Ah, so anything I can do to help"
"not till morning, but you can get chance then we can go to the pub"
"Great idea" Tim went and got change then they left to go to the pub for dinner and drinks.
The next morning, Tim and elle was busy after breakfast getting everything set up outside when the food and drinks arrived. Elle let Tim sort out the drinks while she sort out some of the food. By the time they finish their first guests arrived.
With in an hour every one showed up. Elle and Tim made sure there was plenty of food and drinks for everyone. Kids enjoyed the games that was out. When it was lunch time everyone enjoyed the food that was there. Then afterwards it was the birthday cakes. They all took turns in blowing out candles just as Tim and Elle kiss there checks. Everyone had a great day and kids enjoyed themselves.
After the guests left. Tim and elle started cleaning up "what a crazy day" tim said, making Elle laugh
"It sure was honey, but you enjoyed yourself"
"Yes i did and so did the kids"
"True"
That night Tom, Nel and the others showed up for the barbeque dinner and cake. They all enjoyed themselves, kids included. Later that night while in bed after a long and tiring day Elle look at Tim.
"Tim do you want anymore kids" He turn to her
"Why"
Well you miss out on so much when i was pregnant with triplets, we never talk about numbers of kids"
"True, do you want to try"
"I could see Dr Green, my gynecologist and get her to run some tests like last time"
"do you want to have any more" tim asked
"One or two"
"That would be great since there plenty of bedrooms for another two more, why not, at least this time I can experience it this time round"
"That would be great and in the meantime" she rolled till she was lying on top of him looking down at him
"We can keep on trying the old fashion way" Tim smile as she kissed him
"I like that idea" they kiss and he rolled them both till he was on top.
"What are you waiting for" Elle said as sher hand slip under cover
"elle you are so naughty" she giggled as they kiss then made love once more before falling asleep in each others arms.
On monday morning Elle made an appointment to see Dr Green who got a free appointment the next morning since there was a cancellation. So the next morning she went to see Dr Green then return to the station with everyone lunch.
That night after the kids were in bed sleeping Tim got them a cold drink since it hot night. When he walk into the lounde he pass Elle her drink then sat down
"thanks" elle said
"Are you ok"
"Yeah, i saw Dr Green today"
"how did it go"
"good, she running some tests since it is a good time to have them done, She going to call me in the next couple of days with the results"
"Ok look if we can't have any more I'll understand, but how would you feel"
"upset because I want you to be there for every thing this time round"
"I know you do, but if it doesn't happen at least we got three mircals up stairs"
"True" Tim pull Elle into his arms as she snuggled up to his side.
"I hope i do get pregnant"
"All we can do is think positive"
"I agree" she turn and give him a kiss then snuggled up to his side as they watch a movie before going to bed.
Two days later Elle was called into Dr Green office. "Thanks for coming in elle"
"Thanks for calling. You got the results back"
"Yes including your ultrasound. The test reveal you got a fifteen percent change, so you know what that means"
"Yes when do i start"
"I'll do up the script for you now and I would like to see you in three months"
"Ok" the doctor did up the script and gave it to Elle
"Good luck"
"thank you" Elle went to drop the script off to the chemist.
When the pharmacist saw the name of the script he did some checking out then walk over to Elle.
"We don't have this here, but we can have it sent from Melbourne, but it won't be here till next week"
"Call me once you got it"
"sure you know that this treatment isn't cheap"
"I know how much it costs for that one shot. I've been through it before"
"Ok"
"Call my cell phone instead of the station"
"Of course"
"thanks" Elle then return back to work.
Few days later Elle and Tim was in widgery for the day. Tim was helping move the Petersons back into their home and they loved the new bathroom. Elle was helping Grant out since his wife gone for the week, so she help sort out his reports, notes and other office things. He also hired someone to clean the station up until his wife returns.
On friday morning Elle went to the phamistry when the spoke to the guy again "elle what can I do for you"
"My script"
"Oh that right, let me check for you"
"thank you"
Elle waited while the guy look for it and couldn't find it so he look it up on the computer, then he made a phone call. Elle could tell by the look on his face that it not good news. When he finishes the call he walked over to where she is.
"What is it"
"The courier that was coming up from Melbourne was hijack half an hour south of st davids, your medication was on board. I've order another one for you"
"thank you. Strange that there were no reports of the hijacking or any vans stolen in the past two months. Thanks for letting me"
"sorry about this"
"It not your fault" then she return to the station and went to see PJ who was in his office.
"PJ have you received any reports of stolen vans in the past week or two"
"nope why"
"Courier van was hijacked last week, it carrying special medicine for me that the phamests had couriered up from Melbourne"
"there was drugs in the van" he said up in his chair
"It for me and it very expensive"
"what is it"
"hormonal treatment Tim and I are going to try to have another baby, cause of my hormonal imbalance i had to take this special drug so i can conceive"
"How much is this drug worth"
"five thousand a bottle, Dr green given me three suringes cause of the three dosages"
"How often do you inject yourself?"
"Once a month at the beginning of my cycle"
"Ok, any idea where the hijack happen?"
"About twenty five kilometers south of st davids"
"Ok i'll make some enquiries"
"Thanks PJ"
"As for your meds, i'll keep quiet about it for now"
"Thanks" Then she walked out of his office. PJ made some calls as well returning back to his other case he was working on.
Two days later Elle pick up her meds the same day PJ and Maggie made a bust in which they found courier boxes that been open including the one to the chemist. He noticed it was empty. After finding out about what happened to the bottle, he let Elle know that it was sold to a woman in mount thomas who already used it so she could get herself pregnant.
The woman was also arrested and charged and found out that she can't get pregnant because she had her tubes cut when she was twenty two after she had an emergency C section done when she was pregnant with twins which almost cost her life since they were her tenth kids and all of her other kids was taken off her. She had her first kid at thirteen and had three sets of twins when she was sixteen, eighteen and twenty.
Few days later Tim watch Elle inject herself with the drug. She looked up at him when done "Hopefully this will work again"
"I hope so to Elle" he gives her a kiss.
Month later Both new police houses and stations started being built for both Stevenson and Widery. Both towns are looking forward to seeing the end results since they seen drawings of the new building and every one gave the thumbs up. Elle keep a record of when she was due for her next period.
When she was a week late she didn't tell Tim since it wasn't the first time she was a week or two late. She keep on working like normal.
Wayne left for the academy to do a gun course which lasted for two weeks, while there, and had some time off he try to call Roz but her parents won't let him talk to her, he even went around to talk to her but she handed him an envelope and close the door on his face. He pulled out what was in the envelope, it was the deforce papers. So he return back to the academy and look over the papers then he called Elle to talk to her.
"Wayne we know what she was like when she was here, the only best thing for you to do is to let her go and move on"
"but i love her"
"I know you do but it seems she doesn't love you any more or otherwise she wouldn't have given you the papers. The choice is yours. If you do sign them, why down there sort out the papers for who will get all your benefits. Cause once the papers had gone through and you are divorced then some one else like your parents will get everything until you remarry and Roz gets nothing. Sleep on it tonight"
"Alright i will think about it"
"Good"
Two days later Wayne met a new officer who seems to be interested in the course Wayne was doing. And gave him a hard time when he saw the photo of Roz on top of Wayne bag. After everything was pack he left the building and the academy, he drove around to Roz parents place and knock on the door when it opens
"she not here" His soon to be ex mother- in law said
"Give her this, she finally gets what she wanted and tell Roz from me the day the devorce comes through if anything happens to me, my parents would be getting all my benefits and Roz will get nothing"
"what benefits"
"My pension and three hundred thousand dollar police insurance pay out." He passed her the yellow envelope then turn around and walk back to his car then drove away.
The next morning Elle was in the office when probation constable Adam copper walk in he smiled when he saw the back of elle "i didn't know that the mount thomas secerties look so sexy" Elle stop what she was doing and turn around to Adam then step ford
"You must be the new probationary constable Adam copper"
"that me" elle notice he was checking her out.
"This way constable, Sargent Croydon is expecting you" she open the gate and let him through, then she knocked on the door and open it
"Yes Elle"
"constable Copper here to see you" She step a side and let Adam pass he gave her a smile as he walked into Tom's office. "Constable" he turned to Elle
"Yes ma'am"
"for starts my name is elle, Mrs Elle Cole just about everyone called me Elle. Understand"
"Yes...Elle"
"good and second stop drooling all over the floor, i just mop it this morning and keep your tongue in your mouth and next time you say a sexest comment about me or any other woman, I'll make sure that guys here give you Sunday morning jail cleaning job to do am I clear constable"
"Sargent are you going to let her talk to me like that" tom sat back and look back
and fourth between them.
"Elle what did he say to you"
"I didn't know that the mount thomas secerties look so sexy"
"constable Copper you are to refrain from talking like that to a staff member while you wear that uniform and in this station am I clear"
"Yes sargent"
"good, Elle was there anything else"
"Yes your usual lunch boss"
"Yes and make sure they remember the pickles"
"I'll make sure, what fruit would you like today"
"apple thank you"
"Ok, i'll leave you two to talk. Another thing constable the only man who can call me sexy is my husband am I clear"
"Yes Elle"
"good" she walked out closing the door then walked over to her desk when PJ and Maggie walk in.
"Is the boss in his office" PJ asked
"Yes and you will have to wait"
"Why" Maggie asked
"Probation constable Adam copper is in there and he got into trouble with me already"
"what did he do" Maggie asked
"Say, he called me sexy and checking me out with his tongue hanging out, so bewarn Maggie, he might try to hit on you"
"thanks" then Nick walk in and pass Elle some sheets she look at them
"Heavy footed"
"yes and no warrant, no licence"
"and it only nine in the morning"
"Where Wayne" Maggie asked
"Doing the highways"
