(A/N): Hey Guys! So, I typed up most of this chapter last night but had to go to bed before finishing, which is why it's only uploading now, so sorry for the cliffhanger, that was completely accidental. One more chapter until the prewritten ones are all done, and the next one ends in a sorta cliffhanger, so... :D

Disclaimer: I own nothing you recognise.

Leo

To say I was pleased with my friends for eavesdropping would be rather incorrect, especially when I had been talking to Dahrya about certain sensitive subjects.

Quickly and with ease, I stepped off the edge of the roof, twisting sharply and gripping the gutter, using it to swing myself through the opening in the side of the astronomy tower.

"Oi." I muttered, and Sirius and James jumped, spinning to face me. "It's rude to eavesdrop." James shrugged.

"You never seemed to have a problem doing it." I tilted my head slightly to the side.

"That's because I can't actually help overhearing everything." I objected, and James rolled his eyes.

"Where's baby vamp?" Just as he asked, Dahrya also swung into the room, though admittedly slightly less elegant than I had been.

"I'm not baby." Dahrya growled, and James held up his hands in surrender.

"Are all vampires like this?" Sirius pursed his lips.

"No... you know, your dad never seemed this aggressive." I flinched, drawing the attention of the two boys.

"He has his moments." I murmured, and Sirius and James shared a look.

"Leo, what happened to your dad?" I rolled my eyes.

"Nothing happened to my dad." I turned to Dahrya. "Tomorrow, Forbidden Forest, after classes finish. Don't be late."

(A/N): So, what did you think?

So, Leo is still talking about his dad in present tense, at least to his friends, anyway. I'm sure that's very healthy for him.
