When Elle arrived to work, the media was there asking her questions as she manage to get into the station "blood hell talk about a media circles outside"
"your late" the inspector said
"Kids wanted to see the boss this morning before day care"
"Ah, how is he"
"Mess, shocked, i know what he is going through when i thought tim had died. It is going to take a while before he returns here"
"Ok his family"
"Going to be showing up today and tomorrow. Chris Riley from the imperial put all her rooms on hold for Tom family"
"that good of her, funeral arrangement"
"already taken care of" elle told Falkner and others what what has been done so far.
"That good that your on top of everything"
"thank you. Oh Maggie you better set up your guest bedroom for a couple of nights, your dad coming to town today"
"what today" she said shocked "Yeah he picking up Anna and Bret from the airport and driving here"
"Who Anna and Brad" nick asked
"Boss daughter and her boyfriend" elle said

At the airport Pat was waiting for Anna and Brad to arrived. He remembers seeing a photo of anna four years ago before she went overseas to tour around europe. When he saw a women about Maggie age with long blonde hair and a guy with black hair, he knew it was them.
So he walked over to them, "Anna Croydon"
"Who want to know"
"Sargent Pat Doyle" he shows them his police badge.
"What can we do for you sargent" Bret asked
"elle cole asked me to pick you up and take you to mount Thomas"
"Thank you" Anna said
"This way" they walk towards the exit
"do you know what going on" Anna asked
"your mum and sister been in a car accident. I haven't spoken to my daughter yet"
"Your daughter" Brett asked
"Yeah Maggie doyle, she a copper like me, she station at mount thomas, Tom call her girly when he first met her" Pat said smiling
"that sounds like dad, but he always have guys serving in mount Thomas since he been there" anna said
"Well Maggie first female copper there. I can tell you stories about Maggie that will get me into trouble with her" He said grinning
"Are they that bad, there stories" Brett asked
"Yeah, one tip when your at the pub with maggie, don't get her a triple vodka"
"Why" anna asked
"Cause you end up wearing it"
"what she tips it over your head" Anna said
"Na, she spay it over you. I'll tell you what happen" Pat told them about Maggie first night in mount thomas. By the time Pat finish telling them, they were laughing.
"Who was the guy that was buying her drinks" Anna asked
"Senor detective PJ Hasham"
"did she know he was a copper" Brad asked
"Yep"
Four hours later Pat pulled up outside Tom place. They could see cars everywhere
"what is going on" anna asked
"Lets go and find out" Brett said.
They all got out and walk up to the front door where Pat knock onto it. They all can hear voices in side, so Pat knock harder. Then the door open
"Pat Elle said you were coming"
"Yeah, I brought someone with me who wants to see you" he stood back so Tom stepped outside and turn and was shocked

"hi Dad, what going on, Dad are you ok" he hugged her as he cried
"what going on dad… dad" he pulled back
"Let's go in side" then he saw who else was there
"hi i'm Bret Allcott, Anna boyfriend"
"hi, ah this isn't a good time Bret"
"Dad what going on where mum, where Susan" he put his hands on to her shoulder why trying to find the words. Pat put his hand on Tom's shoulder for support
"Dad what going on"
"Nel and Susan been in a car accident, Susan in a coma" Anna started to go into shocked
"Mum, no, please no" tom hug her "no" Anna said as she started to cry.
When they pulled apart "How dad how"
"she had a heart attack while driving, she hit an oncoming car that had teenagers in it, they all died at the seen"
"oh my…" tom hug her once more.
Then tom sister walk outside "What going on out here Tom, who are you" she said in a rude tone.
"Not now Patsy" tom said. "Thomas Arthur Croydon what are you doing hugging this young girl my god, Nel dead and you hugging a younger woman"
"Pasty, that's enough." He said in an angry tone then he pulled back
"Are you ok" Tom asked Anna
"I'm shocked"
"tom are you going to answer me" Tom turn to face Pasty when she saw who he was hugging
"anna" she said shocked
"Hello auntie Pasty, i see you still miss bossy boots as ever" Tom put his arm around Anna shoulder for support
"where the hell have you been"
"Traveling till i got a call to return here. How dear you talk to dad like he a kid. I just found out my sister in a coma and mum…. Dead and here you are treating him like a kid. You should show some respect and this is not your house and you can not go around bossing people about, you can do it in your own house but not here. And now all I want to do is have a shower and go to the hospital to see my sister and spend time with my own father without any interference from you or anyone else"
"anna all the hot water used up, i'll give Chris a call and see if you can use the pub showers"
"thanks dad. Any news on Susan"
"Yes she regain consciousness this morning, she knows about Nel"
"I'll take you to the pub Anna"
"thanks Pat" tom said Then he hug Anna once more
"I'm pleased your here"
"Same here dad"
"Brett it nice to meet you"
"You to Mr Croydon" they shake hands
"Call me tom"
"tom." Tom watch them walk back and got into Pat car and they drove away.
Tom turn to his sister "Pasty my god…. What you just said was uncalled for, i'll talk to you later, i'm going out for a while alone." tom said as he walked down the steps and out the gate and walk into town while trying to cool down.
When Pat stop his car, they got out and Brett pick up his and Anna bags then follow Pat into the pub. When they walk in "Any chance for getting a cold drink around here" Chris turn around and smile
"Pat Doyle what are you doing here" she walk out from behind the bar and gave him a hug.
"Nel furnal"
"Have you seen Tom"
"yeah, has he called"
"no why"
"These two needed a shower to freshen up"
"Who"
"hi Chris" She turn around
"anna" they both hug then pulled apart
"my gosh this is a surprise"
"Yeah"
"Pat said you needed a shower"
"Yeah and room for a couple of nights. I'll have to ask dad to pay for it"
"don't worry about that today and who your friend"
"Chris Riley, Brett Allott, my boyfriend"
"hi so you want a double room"
"If it possible"
"sure come on i'll sort you both out now"
"I'll go down to the station to let Maggie know i'm here"
"If you wait for five minutes you can return with Elle and the lunches"
"Thanks Chris" Anna and brett follow Chris while Pat get himself an orange juice.
Five minutes later he heard laughter coming from outside and he knew the two voices so he hid behind a wall that lead to the stairs when they walk in.
"Have you been to see tom yet" elle said
"no, PJ and i did do a drive by but there were cars everywhere so it looks like most of the family showed up already" Maggie said
"It must be crazy at his place, at least Chris offered rooms for the family"
"it good of her. I wonder when dad get into town"
"I'll say about fifteen minutes ago"
"how do you know that" Maggie asked
"Cause he stand behind us with a goofy grin on his face, hello Pat" Maggie turn around
"Dad" she said shocked then hug him
"Hello Maggie, Elle, how the hell did you know i was standing behind you two"
"Reflections" elle said pointing to picture on the wall that got class covering.
"You to smart for your own good and look at you, your glowing and your getting bigger also"
"Gee thanks, i'm only fourteen weeks long" he gave her a quick hug.
"I know, So how my little girl been"
"dad" Maggie said blushing
"she has been great, and you still eating coppers food"
"To right" he said laughing.
"Did you pick Anna up ok" elle asked
"Yeah and Brett, Chris sorting out a room for them since Tom place is full"
"Ok"
"Here you two go"
"thanks Chris" elle said picking up the box.
"I'll walk with you two ladies if you don't mind"
"of course not dad" they walk out of the pub talking.
Elle and Maggie talk about what been happening and Maggie did most of the talking, mainly about the accident and the altopsic results. Pat got to meet Adam for the first time and talk to the others while they have their lunch.
Then he left to return back to the pub where he spoke to Chris as well had lunch with anna and Brett. He share couple of stories about Tom and Nel which made them laugh. After lunch he took them to the hospital and drop them off then he went around to Maggie place to drop of his bags in the guest bedroom then he return back to the pub where he saw Tom in there talking to Chris

"Pat Chris said that you took Anna and Brett to the hospital"
"Yeah, what you doing here"
"Pasty"
"I can't believe she your sister"
"same here"
"what happened" Chris asked Tom told her what happen on his front porch.
"My gosh i remember when we were at school she was like that towards you"
"now you know she hasn't charge but gotten worse"
"sounds like it alright, has she met Elle"
"Oh yes she did yesterday, Elle keep her cool up to a point where Pasty hit a nerve and she explosed and she had a go at Pasty in front of some of the family in the living room. Boy when she called a spade a spade she did and Pasty didn't stand a chance. I had to stop Pasty and sit Elle down and get her to calm down because she got to think of the twins. Lucky my niece is a nurse she took Elle blood pressure and told her what to do till she calms down then she told Pasty that she shouldn't upset any pregnant women like that. Then she asked Elle questions which she answered them while i called Tim, he showed up all worried and ask what happened. Elle told him. He shook his head at Pasty then turn to Elle and told her not to get upset like that again and I don't want you to lose their two miracles, she agrees, and he took her home and i called the station to let them know that Elle gone home to rest. They found out when Maggie showed up at there house and Tim told her what happen and she told the others"
"what about the rest of the family"
"they were shocked and concern for Elle and twins after what Tim said miracle word. Jane my niece she asked if Elle and Tim need help in having the twins, i said yes. They all understood. My nephew on Nel side of the family his daughter had to have the same treatment as elle to have her twins"
"It can be hard on any couples who are trying to start a family, i heard that the drugs Elle took was expensive" Chris said
"five thousand dollars a shot"
"that is a lot of money" Pat said
"Yes it is"
