(A/N): Hey Guys! So, I know I haven't updated in three weeks, but I've been super busy and I honestly thought I'd uploaded the last few chapters. Anyway, In a few books (I kept losing track of which one the others were in and moving on to another) I have up to chapter 250 written up, so I'll upload those at some point, hopefully soon.
Disclaimer: I own nothing you recognise.

Brooke's head snapped up as I dropped down onto the bench beside her in the courtyard, and Aria punched my arm lightly.
"Hey there stranger." She greeted me with a grin, and Ezra and Farryse looked up from where they were playing exploding snap on the stones in front of the bench where the girls sat.
"Hey." I replied softly, smiling at her for a second before turning my gaze to Brooke again. "Sorry I haven't been around for a while." She returned the smile, leaning in closer to kiss me lightly on the lips.
"Mmhm... I think that about makes up for it." I grinned, biting my lips for a second.
"Are you busy?" Her eyebrows shot up, and she glanced at her friends before shaking her head.
"Free as a bird, what do you need?" She asked, and I intertwined my fingers with hers before looking at the others, and making a split second decision I really hoped wouldn't come back to bite me in the arse.
"You guys can come too, if you want." They all looked surprised, especially Brooke, but after a second of hesitation, they nodded, and rose to their feet.
"Where are we going?" Brooke asked me quietly, still loud enough for the others to hear, not wanting to hide anything from them, and I tugged her hand, starting to guide her back towards the castle entrance.
"I figured you might like to sit in on one of my training sessions." Her eyes widened, and she glanced over her shoulder at her friends.
"Are you sure that's wise?" I shrugged, rubbing the back of my neck sheepishly.
"Well, technically, it isn't my training session." She cocked an eyebrow.
"Well, whose is it?" I winced slightly.
"Dahrya's." Noticing her confusion, I shrugged again. "She's like me, except without the veela genes." Brooke nodded, but the others bore furrowed eyebrows.
"Isn't that all you are though? I mean, species wise, anyway?" Ezra questioned, and I scoffed quietly.
"I'm quarter human, quarter veela, half something else. Something you'll probably figure out soon enough." I told them with a shrug. "Dahrya's half that something else as well." I felt Farryse and Aria share a look and smirked slightly, shaking my head. "Don't worry about it, you can at least enjoy watching a good fight if nothing else." Brooke nudged me in the side, and I glanced at her, curious.
"So, is Dahrya training with your trainer?" I flushed slightly, instantly knowing what she was ask.
"Yes, Greygorry will be there, but no one else knows about his advice, so no saying anything, alright love?" Reluctantly, she nodded.
"Not a word." She assured me as we passed the Great Hall, and I felt my friends- bar Lily- not so far behind us.
"Well would you look at that." I heard James announce, and the others look up, obviously catching sight of my head easily over the crowd, and as we rounded the corner, I grabbed Brooke's arm, knowing Aria, Ezra and Farryse would follow, and found the first portrait with a passage behind it.
"Blabbering bison." I whispered under my breath, and guided Brooke inside, pulling the portrait closed again after the other three had followed us in.
"How did he even know this was here?" Ezra asked no one, obviously thinking I couldn't hear him.
"I know where most of the hidden passageways in the school are, it's a gift. One I don't usually need, thanks to my... other half." I flashed Brooke a smile, and she rolled her eyes at me playfully.
"Show off." She murmured, and I scoffed quietly.
"If I wanted to show off, Boo, all I'd have to do would be to take off my shirt." Her eyebrows shot up, surprised that I was, actually, boasting.
"Why are you in such a good mood today?" I shrugged, furrowing my eyebrows but still smiling as I tried to figure it out myself.
"Not sure. I wasn't feeling all that great earlier..." I glanced sideways at her, grinning mischievously before grabbing her hand, twirling her in a tight circle and holding everyone else up as I kissed her none too quickly. "Maybe it's the fact that I have a beautiful, wonderful girlfriend." I tilted my head to the side. "Or maybe it's the fact that I soon get to fight someone and let off steam." I shrugged, and Brooke raised her eyebrows.
"Anything else?" She asked playfully, and I considered it, the smile going away, and I met her eyes again.
"It could be because I'm freaking out because, as it turns out, I accidentally had a cuddle session with one of my friends dads."
