(A/N): Hey Guys! So, I have to go to sleep right after uploading this chapter because it just hit midnight (Yes, I know, I'm a weakling), but I promise to upload some more tomorrow! Plus, the start of that plot point twisty thing is at the end of this chapter, ooh!
Disclaimer: I own nothing your recognise.
Leo
"Well, technically speaking- less than a year." Elaine shot me an apologetic look, but I refused to acknowledge it.
"So, wait, what?" James asked, seemingly perplexed, and even Remus looked incredulous.
"There's a... less than slight possibility that... when I turn sixteen, my vampire DNA will kick into overdrive and... indefinitely halt my aging." They were silent for a second, just gaping at me, before all at once, they started shouting.
"Are you kidding me?!"
"You have got to be kidding me!"
"You can't be freaking serious!"
They were so worked up that Sirius let the opportunity got a pun with his name slip through his fingers.
"Guys, calm down!" I exclaimed, and they fell silent for a second, waiting for me to explain. "I'm probably- maybe- not going to stop aging. It's fine, I even have a plan in case it does happen." Sirius cocked an eyebrow at me.
"And what's that?" He asked, sounding equal parts sceptical and worried.
"If that does happen, he asked me to kill him." Elaine butted in before I could reply in a more delicate manner, and immediately, the boys started screaming at me again.
"Leo-!"
"I mean honestly-!"
"Seriously?!"
I angled my head to quirk an eyebrow at Elaine. "Are you happy now?" I murmured, and she shook her head.
"No." She told me honestly, clutching my hand in both of hers. "No, I'm really not." I looked away, drowning out the boys before wrapping an arm around Elaine.
"You know I can't be a full vampire, Elaine... You know that." The last part was practically a whisper, but my friends fell silent upon hearing it.
"That doesn't mean you can ask me to kill you." She replied, and I shrugged lightly.
"That's okay. There's only a slim chance I'll make it to my sixteenth birthday anyway." All five of them reach out and slapped me on the arm.
"Stop saying that!" Elaine exclaimed, and Sirius nodded firmly in agreement.
"Yeah, it makes me want to just... just- cuddle you and cry!" My eyebrows rose slowly, but Sirius didn't bother to back-pedal, instead choosing to jump onto the bed and throw his arms around me.
Soon enough, the other boys all joined him, first Peter, then Remus, and finally, James.
I closed my eyes for a second, focusing, and the bed shuddered as it expanded to the size of two double beds combined. Reaching out, I threw the duvet over the six of us.
"Leo," Elaine started quietly, her hand moving towards my hair again.
"Mmhmm?" I questioned, feeling her heartbeat speed from its normal pace.
"Are you naked?" I felt the others freeze, and barely restrained a grin.
"I'm wearing boxers." I reassured her, and she nodded, threading her fingers through my hair as she relaxed into my arms, and Sirius adjusted himself so he could wrap his arms around the both of us.
Everything was calm for a second before I considered something I had missed before.
"Damsel... Why do you think your dad's the expert on vampires?"
(A/N): So, what did you think?
Ooh, Elaine's dad, what's going on? Ooh!
