"Wait, wait, wait, wait," Doofenshmirtz said. "So you're saying you're being framed and Francis wants you to stop me because he thinks that I'm the one who framed you?"
Perry nodded. "Hah! Not this time! I didn't frame you this time! He is wrong!" Doofenshmirtz began doing a small dance. "Take that!" Perry clicked again. "What? I can dance if I want to!"
Perry shook his head and pointed at Doofenshmirtz's calendar. It reads 'movie.' Doofenshmirtz followed Perry's finger. "Oh! My movie! Yeah, I still can't find my tickets." Perry rolled his eyes and dialed in Monogram with the walkie talkie.
"Agent P? Is something the matter?" Monogram asked. Perry clicked. He then mimed watching a movie, a piece of paper, then turned the walkie talkie towards Doofenshmirtz, revealing the screen on the communicator. "Dr. Doofenshmirtz wants to watch a movie but he kept loosing his tickets so he kept buying more?" Monogram asked. Perry nodded. "Oh come on! How did you get that? I got Perry is watching tv, cashes in some money and comes to stop me!"
There was silence for a minute. "Eh, sounds about right," Monogram replied.
"Well, I-hey!" Doofenshmirtz cried.
"So the case with Dr. Doofenshmirtz was a bust?" Monogram checked. Perry replied with a nod. "The tickets are all sold out I assume?" Perry nodded again. "Hmm. Seems this case is bigger than Dr. Doofenshmirtz this time."
"Hey, if Perry the Platypus is getting framed and fired then this concerns me too, ya know!" Doofenshmirtz said. "Besides, who's going to stop all of my evil schemes if he's fired?"
"He makes a valid point, Agent P," Monogram stated. "If you're out of the job, we will have no one to stop Dr. Doofenshmirtz. All of our other Agents are tied us with their own nemesis." Monogram rubbed his chin with this thumb and forefinger. "Agent P, dire times call for dire measures. I need you to join up with Dr. Doofenshmirtz in catching this criminal!"
Doofenshmirtz and Perry both looked at each other with disgust and then back to Monogram. "You're joking, right? Very funny, Francis! You know, your sense of humor always has been horrible!"
"This isn't a joke, Dr. Doofenshmirtz. And stop calling me that," Monogram retorted.
"This has to be a joke. Or just a really bad dream. Perry the Platypus. Pinch me!" Perry slapped Doofenshmirtz with the underside of his tail. Doofenshmirtz rubbed his face. "Not a dream!"
"I told you, this isn't a joke. Agent P has been fired and if my majors find out I'm talking to him still then I'LL get fired and then Carl will have to be in charge of the organization! Carl isn't ready yet, Agent P! Please join up to solve this case!" Monogram tried again.
Perry and Doofenshmirtz looked at each other with disgust again. "Give us a minute, Francis," Doofenshmirtz said, grabbing the communicator from Perry. He placed it on the floor and walked away with Perry. "Okay, between you and me, I'm not to happy about you getting fired. Who will stop my evil schemes without you and listen to my backstories and join my tea times and give horrible presents to?" Doofenshmirtz asked. Perry narrowed his eyes at him.
"Right, sorry. My point is, as much as we hate it, Francis makes a good point." Perry clicked in irritation. "Exactly! I wouldn't want to work with you if my life depended on it!" Perry nodded. "But my life doesn't depend on it! My backstories do!" Perry nodded, opened his eyes wide and quickly shook his head. "So I say team up! I need to tell my life story to someone and if you can't get back in the job, then who will listen to me?" Perry shook his head again.
Doofenshmirtz gave Perry a sad face with wide eyes. Perry glanced at Monogram on the screen still, adjusting his mustache, and then back at Doofenshmirtz. He does seem to fid pleasure in Perry showing up every day to ruin his plan. Even Perry has grown quite accustomed to him. Whether he wants to admit it or not, they need each other to keep in balance. Perry sighed and nodded. They both returned to the walkie talkie.
Perry clicked at Monogram to get his attention. "Oh!" He cleared his throat, leaving his mustache tilted. "Have you come to an agreement?" Perry and Doofenshmirtz looked at each other again, nd then returned their gaze to Monogram with a nod. "Good. Perry will be the team's mouth. If Dr. Doofenshmirtz finds any clues on this case, Perry will have to tell me. It's not good for the organization if they see me directly communicating with Dr. Doofenshmirtz. You two must keep an eye out for any clues or anything suspicious to this case. Perry, I expect you to keep Dr. Doofenshmirtz in line. Understood?"
Perry clicked in agreement. "Yeah, sure, but this is a one time deal! Never again am I teaming up with you guys!" Doofenshmirtz said.
"Fair enough," Monogram said. "Good day to both of you and, good luck." The screen turned off.
Doofenshmirtz looked at Perry. "Don't think that this is permanent. This is just a truce." Doofenshmirtz held out a hand. Perry shook it.
Perry returned back to his home. Isabella and her girls are building a machine while Phineas inserts a piece of paper into another machine. "Oh, there you are Perry," Phineas said, looking at Perry. Perry watched as the machine buzzed a few times. A hanger with a red detective suit slid out from the inside of the machine. It was too big for both Phineas and Ferb. "Who's that one for?" Isabella asked.
"This one is for Candace," Phineas remarked. "She out shopping with Stacey but she'll be back!"
"Can I have one too?" Isabella asked.
"Of course, Isabella! Ferb is already making yours!" He pointed at Ferb, who just gave Isabella a thumbs out while scribbling on a sheet of paper. Phineas put another sheet in and a brown with a hint of brown detective's suit slid out. "This one's mine. Hey, Perry! Do you want one?" Perry clicked. "We'll make one for you too, Perry!"
Ferb handed Phineas the paper with Isabella's clothes. Phineas slid in Ferb's, which resulted in a green camo one. Phineas put in Isabella's and out came another matching set of clothes, this one pink. "Aw, thanks, Phineas!" Isabella said, running over to it to pull it off of the hanger.
"Of course, Isabella!" Phineas replied. Ferb slid in a paper, which resulted in a small pair, with just the cape and hat, with a blue color in it. "Here you go, Perry!" Phineas said, putting the coat on Perry and then finishing with the hat.
"What are you going to investigate?" Isabella asked, already in her new clothes.
"No idea. Hey, Ferb! I know the second thing we're going to do today! We'll go around town and see if there's any cases we can discover!"
Ferb put his hat on and nodded in agreement. "How about lunch first?" Phineas asked.
"Mm, lunch!" Isabella cheered.
Perry watched as they walked into the house. There is a case but Perry can't tell them that he's a secret agent working on a case to discover who framed him. That would give him and his organization away, resulting in him moving from his family. He had to go through that once and he's not doing it again. Phineas and Ferb had wrote a song for him and even Candace had helped them in performing it. To protect himself and his family, this case had to be kept secret.
