(Evil Dread)

Magic Detective: This was long in the making, and DJ & Dawn are just the tip of the iceberg for the drama we've got in store.

Craftsama7: Courtney isn't a bad person anymore, but yeah she's gonna have an uphill battle in this story.

Ellismskd24: Don't worry, I'll be giving him a decent overhaul in this story, so we'll see how it works out.

OmniIBIBUltraInstinctGodzilla: Yep, I figured people were gonna be excited that this one is finally here. The lineups do make sense, given that Courtney is the main character, Duncan is still her love interest and he, Gwen, Cody and DJ are all former finalists. Heather and Alejandro are two of the most iconic big bads in the franchise. Mike, Zoey and Scott are given, the same with Jo. Dawn was a given too given her popularity among the fandom, but Anne Maria mostly came down to process of elimination since I needed another villain to take Lightning's spot. Of course the last spot had to go to Brick, he was one of the best by far. I thought Heroic Hawks was a better name, make it seem like both teams are formidable and give the impression they're on equal footing. Unfortunately Courtney's redemption arc is easier said than done, but at least she is making the effort to redeem herself. Not that Chris is going to make it easier, but when does he make anything easy for the contestants. I also wanted to give Alejandro a mystery element still, keep some suspense among the contestants. I know it might seem a bit odd to have the first one be a non-elimination challenge, but I wasn't ready to get rid of anyone just yet. There is a good reason why I included 2 invincibility statues, and that's going to come into play later. I do have plans for Mal, he's going to get a decent sized overhaul, the same with his appearances over the course of the story. Don't worry, I'm going to try and keep him from being a Gary Stu, the same with any others. I stand by my opinion about All Stars, because some of its worst qualities began in earlier seasons like the love triangle. It had potential, but bad writing and executive meddling kept it from being realized. Personally I think Island is the best season, Ridonculous Race is the second best, and World Tour is third. Action would probably be tied for fourth with Revenge of the Island, All Stars being next and Pahkitew at the very bottom. All in all I'm glad you enjoyed the first chapter, and I hope you enjoy the rest of the story.

OmniIBIB: Interesting suggestion, but I'm pretty proud of the intro I came up with and I choose to stick with it.

SuperSonicHeroes: Tell me about it, this sequel has been in demand for about five months, or for close to two years if you're going off the end of A BFG's World Tour. Glad to see you like how it looks so far, and my choice for the contestants of each generation. Also yeah, Dawn and DJ oughta be interesting. I didn't know there were other fics that paired them, so if you could give a few names that would be a big help. Other character interactions like DJ and Brick are fun to do as well. Courtney is going to be facing an uphill struggle here for sure, but there is hope for her. I also wanted to address the whole love triangle between Mike, Zoey and Anne Maria in a way that didn't involve making anyone else unlikable. Plus Anne Maria might be on the villain team, but she's not a bad person, at least compared to the likes of Jo and Scott. Also yeah, I did show it in A Dramatic Ridonculous Race, but the feud between Don and Chris is definitely not one-sided. Also I instigated my rule about no Ridonculous Race contestants competing in this story, and that's sort of meant to justify and/or explain it in universe. Alejandro's debut might have been a bit much, but I still wanted him to make an entrance, and that was my solution in the end. Also Mal deserved a bit more foreshadowing here, and I do have plans to overhaul his arc in this story. I'm somewhere in the middle on him personally, but I share your opinion that he can work if done properly, so we'll see how he's received. I did include two Invincibility Statues for a reason, and you'll see what those are later on.

OmniIBIB (continued): Dawn and DJ having history is part of their arc. I didn't know of any fics that paired them together, but I wouldn't mind reading them if I could find them. Mal got a bit of foreshadowing too, so we'll see how that pans out.

Jack8090: Yep, and we're only getting started.

OmniIBIB (continued): Yeah, I wanted to show that while Anne Maria isn't the nicest player, she's not a bad person like Jo or Scott. Chris and Don's feud is an entertaining one for me to write about, and it explains why Ridonculous Race contestants aren't taking part in All Stars in this universe. And yeah, Alejandro would want to make a grand entrance.

OmniIBIB (continued): I hadn't really thought about adding any elements of the 2023 season, but I wouldn't be against it. Though I can't promise anything either.

Starting with the recap…

In typical fashion for Total Drama, Chris started off the episode with a recap of the previous one on the Dock of Shame, next to a large object covered by a black tarp "Last time on Total Drama All Stars: With the start of a new season I welcomed the All Stars, if you can call most of them that, to the newly de-contaminated Camp Wawanakwa. Then I turned it into a season-long face off between Heroes and Villains that started with them diving into water infested with sharks, in search of the one key that would unlock the door to the all new and environmentally friendly, as the law required me to make it, McLean Spa Hotel for winners only. It was partly thanks to Scott being such a coward in the face of sharks, we learned that under every Death-like cloak beats the heart of a Spaniard, in this case Alejandro. While he might not hold the key to Heather's heart anymore, whether or not he actually does being TBD, he did hold the key to the Spa Hotel, along with the first victory of the season for the Villainous Vultures. As for the Heroic Hawks, rather than have them send one of their own home at the start of the season, I decided to show them a bit of mercy, or at least that's what they interpret it as, and let them lick their wounds for one night. But the question still remains, which of the All Stars will be the first to experience first hand the flushing shame of defeat and humiliation? Barring any spoilers, there's only one way to find out, that's to tune in right here and right now, on Total! Drama! All Stars!"

(intro)

Shots of four brand new spotlights popping out, following by the camera zooming through the camp, past the spa hotel and crappy cabin, up to the top of the thousand foot cliff, and then down into the lake below

Dear mom and dad I'm doing fine

You guys are on my mind

Underneath the lake, Anne Maria (also holding onto a can of hairspray) and Courtney are both tugging back and forth on a treasure chest, which opens to reveal Cody inside, along with Mr Coconut and a McLean Brand Invincibility Statue floating out of it and to the surface, while Duncan is lounging in a canoe.

You asked me what I wanted to be

And now I think the answer is plain to see

In a nearby forest, Jo is jogging through and passes a clearing where DJ and Dawn both sit on the ground meditating, hand in hand and surrounded by several animals.

I wanna be famous

Over at a certain river, Heather and Alejandro are riding in a canoe and glaring at each other until the canoe goes over a waterfall, with Alejandro gracefully leaping out onto dry land, but Heather goes over with the canoe. Down below, Brick is standing on a cracked log doing push ups until Heather lands on his back, causing the log to give out and make both of them fall.

I wanna live close to the sun

Go pack your bags cause I've already won

Scott watches Heather and Brick fall and laughs, until Fang comes out of the confessional and starts chasing him.

Everything to prove, nothing in my way

I'll get there one day

Pan over to where Chef is just relaxing in a lounge chair in front of the spa hotel watching all of the chaos unfolding on a monitor, only look over and scowl as he saw Mike and Zoey sitting on the beach gazing longingly at each other… only for the moment to be ruined by Mike letting out a gasp, followed by a bang of his hair coming down and covering one eye, a malicious smirk spreading across his face.

Cause I wanna be famous!

Gwen is sitting at the Dock of Shame and pulls Cody out of the water, the two of them staring into each other's eyes, only for the moment to be ruined by Chris dropping a bear onto the dock with a helicopter.

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na.

Pan over to the lake where all 14 contestants (Alejandro, Anne Maria, Brick, Cody, Courtney, Dawn, DJ, Duncan, Gwen, Heather, Jo, Mike, Scott, Zoey) are standing on a series of poorly built platforms holding jousting sticks and all preparing to fight.

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

The teams clash, with Brick and Jo taking each other out, Zoey shoving Scott back, Anne Maria pushing Dawn back, Mike going up against Alejandro, Duncan and DJ pushing each other back, Alejandro pushing Cody back, finally Gwen and Heather pushing each other back.

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

The scene changes to night at the campfire ceremony, with Zoey looking concerned and reaching out towards Mike (with the bang down over one eye), who has his back turned to her, with her attempt to reach out to him being interrupted by Chris popping up in between them.

(Whistling tune as the song ends)

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

The morning was quiet in the Loser Cabin, but far from calm, at least on the male side.

Mike especially was having a particularly restless sleep after the previous night, to the point where his other personalities were talking through him in his sleep, Chester being particularly vocal in his concerns "There's a storm a-coming dangnabbit!" then Svetlana broke in "I'm so scared, could he really return after all this time?" then Vito "Ayo, if that goomba does show back up then how we gonna stop him?" and finally Manitoba "Hush it mates, Mike is gonna wake up any second. The last thing he needs is to freak out over this." it was then that Mike finally woke up, still fairly groggy "Wait, wha… You guys say something?" he took a look around, only to find that both Cody and DJ were fast asleep, so he shrugged, then laid back down and went back to sleep… for about 5 seconds, before the sound of a certain alarm clock started blaring and scared him out of bed and onto the floor.

"For the love of god why?!" Cody was up next plugging his ears in agony.

"No Momma I swear I didn't touch it!" DJ bolted upright next and subsequently fell out of the top bunk and onto the floor. And then he looked down and found Cody being smothered under him "Oh. Sorry man."

Some muffled groans came out before Cody lifted his head off of the floor "Forget it. It's not as bad as sharing a cabin with Owen. At least you don't fart, and I've been up close and personal with that stuff."

"So have I, I shared a cabin with him after the merge in the first season and shared a trailer with him in the second."

"Yeah but I accidentally used him as a pillow during the Awake-A-Thon."

"...You win."

Brick was the last one to get up, tying his boots before finally shutting the alarm off and bolting to his feet "Rise and shine soldiers, it's time for us to tackle a brand new day!"

"Brick, buddy…" Mike let out a groan as he pulled himself onto his feet "Don't get me wrong, I think it's great we're on the same team again, but do you really have to do the wakeup call in the morning so early?"

"Just trying to make sure that our team is ready for anything. As team captain, the responsibility falls to me to make sure we're prepared for whatever Chris can throw at us."

"Might be the fact that I just got thrown out of bed less than a minute ago talking, but when did you become team captain?" asked DJ.

"Oh yes, I actually meant to broach this topic to the three of you before, but never actually got the chance. I also spoke to the ladies of our team last night, but… they were less enthusiastic about the idea. In hindsight, approaching them while they were in the outhouse confessional may not have been the best strategic approach."

"Wait, is that why I heard screaming at like 2 am last night?" asked Mike, causing Brick to blush and look away.

"Evidently that wasn't my finest hour, so I decided to wait until the morning to broach the topic to the rest of you, but I'd like you to consider making me the captain of our team. I know this is a decision that shouldn't be taken lightly, but I truly believe that with my military training and experience, I'd be able to lead you all into war with pride, and nothing will be able to make us cower!" and then he immediately cowered as something burst through the wall and prompted him to drop to the ground "We're taking fire, hit the deck!"

"Is this Chris's way of trying to give us a wakeup call?"

"Nope, I'm pretty sure it's a form of payback." Cody plucked a black notebook out of where it was embedded into the cabin wall "Quick note for the rest of you guys, Gwen is not a morning person."

"Ah, that's… good to know." Brick picked himself up and composed himself "Anyway I've said my piece, and I hope you'll consider my proposal."

"I don't really have a problem with it, but the early morning wakeup calls are probably gonna get you some backlash." DJ pointed out.

"Due respect soldier, I wouldn't make such conduct if I didn't think it was necessary. You never know when an attack will come out of nowhere."

"ROOM SERVICE SUCKAS!" this was when Chef kicked in the cabin door and tossed a large bucket of gruel at the four of them, covering them in it, and he left without another word.

"This is a prime example."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional)

"I was never a fan of Brick's wakeup calls, but honestly, being prepared for anything is pretty sound advice, especially right now." Mike flinched as his conversation with Dawn went through his mind "Especially if he ever comes back… No, no I can't let that happen… Not again, and especially not to Zoey or any of the others…"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, on the girl side of the cabin…

"Right, I forgot about that." Zoey let out a sheepish chuckle as she pulled herself off of the top bunk and found Gwen covering her head with a pillow in agony "You okay?"

"Oh, yeah, just (bleep) dandy." Gwen's tone was laced with sarcasm, followed by a mix of a yawn and groan as she pulled herself out of bed "5 am wakeup call, just what people need on top of this death trap of a show."

"Yeah, truth be told none of us were ever crazy about Brick's early morning wakeup calls. Don't get me wrong, he's a great guy, but…"

"But he's got no sense of when people just want to freaking sleep." Gwen let out another yawn and shook off some of the grogginess "In case that and me chucking my notebook through the wall didn't make it clear, I'm not a morning person these days."

"Room service suckers!" a bucket of gruel suddenly burst through the door, covering the girls in its contents, courtesy of Chef as he poked his head through the hole in the door "Eat up chumps, here's BREAKFAST!" and then he walked away laughing.

"Add that to the list of reasons." Gwen's scowl deepend as she wiped the gruel off her face "On a related note, add it to the list of reasons to win the next challenge, and to shove my boot right in between Chef's legs."

"That last one sounds a little bit excessive." Zoey muttered.

"Agree to disagree."

"You guys okay?" Cody poked his head through the hole in the door with a certain notebook in hand "I heard Chef pull a Shining on you guys. Also I pried Gwen's notebook out of the wall in our side of the cabin."

"The Shining reference was actually pretty cool, but I deduct points for the fact that we get have to swallow more of his food." Gwen rolled her eyes, but then her gaze softened slightly as she took back her notebook and gave Cody a quick kiss "But thanks for this, at least one good thing is coming out of this morning."

"That bad huh?"

"You got a face full of gruel and alarm clock, you tell me."

"Fair enough." Cody looked over to see Dawn sitting on her bed in a meditative position with her eyes closed "But apparently some people like getting up early."

"Actually she sleeps like that." Zoey told him "According to the other Toxic Rats, she was like that even last season, probably as part of the aura reading. Sometimes they heard her talking in her sleep too, something about a greater evil."

"You mean Chris?" was Gwen's dry input.

"Actually, now I think she might have meant Scott. I don't know, maybe I should start looking at tarot cards again."

"You do you."

"Look out, all of you…" Dawn's mumbling drew the attention of the others "A dark shadow is casting over all of us… Please great spirits, I plead to you… Ensure that those I hold dear are kept safe… especially DJ…" now that got a reaction out of the others.

"...Her and DJ huh?" Cody shared a look with the others "Call it a hunch, but I get the feeling that Chris is gonna try and get a lot of milage out of that."

"I think it's really sweet." Zoey was immediately gushing over it "The two of them would be so cute together."

"Yeah we're not gonna object to that, but knowing Chris, he's probably gonna try and ruin it for the sake of ratings." Gwen muttered "He's got a habit of doing that."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the previous winners…

"Now we're talking, I am so digging this!" at the same time, Scott and Courtney villains were seated in the dining room of the Spa Hotel for breakfast, courtesy of the nameless butler that came with the hotel "I so can't wait to be a millionaire after I win. You know I got up at the crack of dawn this morning to watch the releasing of the doves, and I'm just gonna say it, that was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen."

"That was sappy as hell, but you're not wrong." Duncan was the next one to take a seat at the table, with Anne Maria joining not long after "This sure as hell is the life, and if we keep up the winning streak then we can live like this all season. To villainy!" he caught Scott and Anne Maria in a toast.

"Yeah, to villainy… great…" Courtney breathed a sigh as she lazily raised her glass and went back to sulking, which didn't go unnoticed by Duncan.

"What's up with you Princess?"

"What? Oh nothing, just thinking I guess. Like about how Jo is doing over on Boney Island right now. Who knows what could happen over there without any of us knowing."

"Like her managing to track down one of the Invinsibility Statues." Scott frowned in thought as he said this "Jo is as much of a threat as Lightning was last season, if we don't vote her off soon then she might become too strong for us to beat later. So let's do it now."

"What are you talking about?" asked Duncan.

"I'm saying maybe we should throw the next challenge and use the opportunity to vote her off before she becomes too much of a threat."

"What are you out of your gourd pit-stains?" Anne Maria let out a scoff "Like hell I'm gonna give up on all of this, the day that happens is the day you get deodorant. Or hairspray, you got enough on your pits for it."

"Gonna ignore that one, because frankly this is way too sweet. You know what I got to sleep on last night? A pillow with real feathers in it! Back on the farm, I got nothing but a burlap sack filled with small animals. You ever have a pillow try to bite your face?"

"Not since Scruffy died?" Duncan's face fell at the mention of his pet tarantula, earning a pat on the back from Courtney.

"Bottom line, we ain't giving up this lifestyle and we're not giving up any challenges, so deal with it." Anne Maria started biting into her pancakces, then paused as she ran a hand through her hair "Gonna run to the bathroom, anyone touch my food and I'm gonna run my hair through your ass." and then she walked off.

"And with that image in my head, I think I've lost my appetite." Courtney took her leave of the table and made her way down the hall, finding herself walking side by side with Anne Maria as she did so "Oh. Hey."

"Sup. At least you're not as much of a pain to deal with as them." Anne Maria scowled as she pointed at where Jo and Scott were still arguing.

"That's probably not going to end well."

"Trust me I know, I was on a team with both of them. Take my word for it, nobody's gonna miss those two if they get kicked off. Especially not pit-stains."

"You mean Scott? How bad could he be?"

"You actually watch last season?"

"No, I was mainly trying to distance myself from that show as much as possible. Why?"

"Well for starters I went out in a blaze of glory like a badass, don't let anyone tell you anything different."

"...I'll take your word for it on that one. But seriously, what about Scott?"

"I didn't hear about it till after I got kicked off, but the dude is a total cheating creep, ask any of them."

"So what, he sabotaged his own team? I mean yeah that's bad, but that doesn't really make him stand out."

"He didn't screw up the other team, he screwed over his own team." that made Courtney stop in her tracks.

"Seriously, his own team? That's a new one."

"Blondie is a bitch to be sure, but at least she wants to be on the winning team. Pit stains just cheated his own team and made others look back to get em kicked off."

"Huh. Well you definitely make a convincing case." Courtney paused and looked at her "I didn't think you would turn out to be such a team player."

"Don't go thinking I'm soft Mocha, I don't take crap from anyone, but just cause I got stuck on the villain team doesn't mean I'm a total (bleep) like some of em. Plus there's no chance I'm giving all of this up." she gestured to the Spa Hotel.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional)

"Well I can't argue with that logic." Courtney gave a shrug "But in all seriousness, sabotaging your own team? It's a unique strategy but doesn't really work in the long term. The more your team loses, the harder it is to win. So fine, I'll go with Anne Maria's logic on this one. Scott will be my first vote, and then focus on others like Heather and Alejandro. Speaking of which, I can only imagine what they're planning right now."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the evil power couple…

"Okay seriously, this is getting ridiculous." Heather shot a glare at where Alejandro was in the middle of getting a leg massage from one of the interns "Quit hogging the freaking masseuse already, some of us want to take their turn."

"I would senorita, but clearly these interns have much more talent than Chris gives them credit for." Alejandro let out a sigh of contentment "Truly a phenomenal aspect of our victory."

"Don't expect anyone to start singing your praises, especially not me."

"Oh believe me, I've come to expect nothing of you." Alejandro lifted his gaze to shoot a glare towards Heather, revealing two pieces of tape on his face "You can also expect nothing of who I am now, which could've been avoided if you had ever bothered to call or text me."

"It's not like you ever bothered texting me either you little- Wait, are you getting your eyebrows waxed? Wow, that's just… weird."

"They call it manscaping because it is very manly. Also it's not weird, it's hygienic."

"Yeah well… whatever." Heather let out a scoff and subsequently ripped off the tape on his eyebrows, earning a scream of pain.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional- Heather)

"Oh get real." Heather let out a scoff "This whole thing is just his way of trying to make me feel guilty for some stupid reason. But newsflash for Alehandjob, I'm not falling for him- It! I'm not falling for it, that's totally what I meant to say. Shut up!"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional- Alejandro)

"I've never found Heather to be more radiant than she is now, between her glossy locks, her perma frown, the way the hair on her upper lip manages to catch the light when she's yelling at me…" Alejandro let out a sigh, then paused as he looked at the camera "No comment."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

And now back to reality (such as it is)…

"Attention victims- I mean campers, it's time to get started on today's challenge! Hurry and get your scrawny butts down to the beach, and make it snappy! I've got dinner plans tonight and this face does not come quick or easy!"

"Great, so much for getting a massage." Heather shot a scowl at Alejandro "If your plan was to ruin my morning then it worked, now get off your butt and move it."

"So be it." Alejandro gave a shrug as he pulled himself to his feet and grabbed his clothes, then shot a smirk at Heather "You're more than welcome to use the masseuse yourself, assuming we win and you don't get eliminated."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

A few moments later, at the beach…

"Glad you could join us Princess." Duncan shot a smirk at Courtney as she climbed into the same platform as the rest of the Villains, only for her to not notice him.

"Ouch, looks like someone is invisible." Chris let out a chuckle from his place in a tower in the middle of the beach "Harsh for you, but oh so entertaining for the rest of us. TV couples, is it ever a good idea?"

"Just eat (bleep) McLean." Duncan glanced over at Courtney, and saw her give a small wave in his direction, to which he gave a small smirk of his own.

"Anyway, let's get down to business." Chris looked over to see the Boat of Losers pull up to the beach "And it looks like our exiled Villain has returned."

"You got that right!" Jo immediately leapt out of the back of the boat and did a summersault onto the platform with the rest of the Villains "Now let's get this over with."

"So how about it? You track down those Invincibility Statues?" Scott prodded Jo with an elbow to the ribcage, only to be met with a loud snort.

"Yeah right, as if I'm gonna tell you that farm boy. Besides, I don't need that thing to whip your sorry asses into shape."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional)

"I'm definitely getting a sense of deja vu from Jo, and not in a good way." Courtney frowned in thought "She reminds me a lot of me, at least of how I used to be, so that means she would be a problem. But then again, if what Anne Maria says is true, then Scott sabotages his own team, so that puts a lot of points against him."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Back with the challenge…

"Bonjour mes campers!" Chris was quick to get everyone's attention "Some of you will recall our whole "find and build a sculpture" debacle from the Paris challenge in Total Drama World Tour."

"A little bit too well." DJ cringed at the memories, but calmed down slightly when he looked and saw Dawn place a gentle hand on his bicep and give him a smile.

"Well this time, we had our interns bury a series of 3D puzzle pieces all over the beach, there being a total of 7 pieces per team. You have to find all of the pieces and assemble them on your team's respective platform in order to create one of the landmarks that we visited during Total Drama World Tour. The first team to finish wins a night in the Spa Hotel, and the losing team will be sending someone home tonight, for real this time. Now then, since the Villains Vultures were the ones to win the first challenge, they won an advantage for this one. They get to dig with actual shovels. Incoming!" and that was the cue for Chef to throw some shovels at the Villain team, most of them catching it.

"Got it!" Scott on the other hand managed to catch two.

"Ahem." Heather promptly stormed up to him and held out her hand "Shovel please."

"Forget it. I grew up on farm land, I can do this sort of thing with both hands tied behind my back. Just sit back and leave it to me."

If the sound of a loud smack was any indication, that confrontation ended with Heather taking a shovel and Scott falling to the ground with a big red imprint on his face.

"So we just have to dig with out hands then? Sounds good to me, just like the basic training back at-" Brick didn't get to finish this sentence as he leapt to the ground, only for it to give out under him and send him falling into a pit "Ow…"

"Oh yeah, I probably should've mentioned this." Chris looked down at the teams "Getting on and off your platforms will be a lot harder thanks to the moats, which also happen to be filled with-"

"CRABS!" Brick tried climb his way out of the moat, only for several crabs to end up dragging him back down "So many crabs… pinchers so sharp… WHY?!" and then he fell back into the moat.

"You know it's kind of weird, I don't know why but it gets funnier every time."

"So what the hell are we waiting for? I'm getting back into that Spa Hotel even if it kills me, so long as it doesn't kill my looks." Anne Maria grabbed her shovel and leapt over the moat as she landed on the ground, only for a board to spring up and hit her in the face, sending her crashing down into her team's pit, earning a series of pinching snaps "(Insert stream of bleeps)!"

"Oh yeah that reminds me, you might wanna watch out for the various booby traps we've hidden in the sand."

"But getting back to Brick's question, what are we supposed to dig with?" asked Cody.

"Hate to break it to you Scrawny, but the shovels are for winners only. I guess that means you guys will have to dig the old fashioned way, with your hands and whatever else you're packing right now. Anyway, your challenge starts… NOW!" and cue the airhorn.

"So… which one of us wants to get Brick out of there?"

"Allow me." Dawn promptly leapt down into the hole, and subsequently leapt back out a few seconds later with Brick slung over her shoulder "We should give him a moment to recover, so let's take the moment to strategize on behalf of our team captain."

"Sounds good to me." Zoey turned to the rest of the team "I think we should divide our area into 7 different sections and each pick one."

"Good idea." Cody took a look around everybody pick a section of the beach and draw an outline in the sand, that can be your area."

"Alright then, go team!" the six of them put their hands in the center "Go team!"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional)

"I can tell that all of them will make fine soldiers." Brick wiped away a tear "I'd be honored to go to war with any of them… No stay storng Brick, a captain stays strong for the sake of team morale!"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the Villains…

"Strategy people, we need to use strategy!" Jo wasted no time in trying to take control of her team in her typical fashion "We should start from one end of our area and dig to the other end in a straight line."

"How stupid can you be?" Heather took the chance to round on her "What if the pieces are all at the far end? What we need is to have two lines that push in towards the center. I know the rest of the team will agree with me."

"How about my plan, where both of you shut the (bleep) up and let us hear ourselves think while we dig wherever the (bleep) we want." Duncan shot an pissed off glare at Heather and Jo, then turned to the rest of the team "All in favor?" he was met with hands from Alejanro, Courtney, Scott and Anne Maria "Third choice it is."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional)

"At least Mohawk tells it like it is." Anne Maria gave a shrug "That kind of guy is straight with people so you know what you get. It's probably crap, but still good to know."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional)

"Seriously, I can't believe Heather made it all the way to the final three and Jo to the final five once." Scott rolled his eyes "Do either of them shut the hell up?"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the Heroes…

"Okay, I'm pretty sure that isn't good…" Cody had found a blinking red light in the sand during his digging, and it soon exploded in a pile of dirty clothes "What the-?!"

"Oh man, looks like someone found Chef's dirty laundry!" Chris didn't bother to hide it as he burst out laughing "Now that is a whole new level of stink!"

"Eh, still nothing compared to Owen's… you know." Cody gave a shrug as he pulled the clothes off of him, then pulled a fedora out of the sand "Well if nothing else, I like to think I'd look kind of cool in this hat."

"Actually if I may." Dawn popped up next to him and took hold of the hat, then made her way over to Mike "I believe Manitoba Smith and his treasure hunting abilities would be a great help to us right now."

"Oh yeah, good idea." Mike put on the fedora, then let out a gasp as Manitoba Smith came out and quickly got to work digging a hole, bursting up from beneath the ground seconds later with a piece in hand "G'day beauty!" he tossed it onto the team's blue platform and then took a seat next to where Zoey was digging "Well I'll be, looks to me like the real treasure is right here beside me, wink-wink." and yes, he both said and did the last part.

Meanwhile, with the Villains…

"Okay now you're getting on my nerves blondie." Heather shot a glare at Jo "How about this, we start with the corners and and move in a circular motion towards the center."

"How stupid are you?" Jo let out a scoff "We have to start with the corners, then zig zag as we move towards the center."

"And you think I'm the stupid one."

"So much for the whole teamwork thing." Courtney muttered from where she was digging, which didn't go unheard by Heather.

"See she's right, a team without a leader is like a horse without a head, it just runs around with no sense of direction."

"Pretty sure a horse without a head doesn't run anywhere." Duncan pointed out dryly.

"Shut up Duncan!"

"Hey lay off him, he's saying what I like to hear." Jo gave a smirk "And that right there is the main reason why I should be the leader of this team."

"That'll happen when hell freezes over, if anyone is leading this team it should be me."

"In that case, how about we let our teammates decide that."

"Fine by me." and so the two of them stormed off in opposite directions to try and get others on their side.

"Get over here Scott!"

"Duncan!"

"Oh for the love of- I give up." Courtney breathed a sigh of frustration as she walked over to another area to dig, only to trip on something and fall, but found an arm holding her up "Oh, thanks."

"The pleasure is all mine Senorita." Alejandro gave her his typical charming smirk "I hope you know that unlike them, I do appreciate your efforts. I've always seen that you are as wise as your skin is the color of mahogany."

"...Okay I know what you're doing, and it's not going to work." Courtney let out another sigh as she looked over at Heather and Jo "At this rate they're going to end up killing each other."

"I'm sure all of us can see that easily. Which is why I believe we need a contingency plan, to know who to vote for in the even of our defeat. Personally I believe Heather would be the best choice in that regard."

"Actually if what I heard is true, both of them should wait for now."

"Is that so?" Alejandro cast a raised eyebrow at her "And who would you vote for?"

"Scott. From what I've been told, he's got a history of sabotaging his own team and blaming it on others."

"Oh yes, I did hear a bit about that. Yes, we can't have a sabateur of our own team so early on now can we?" Alejandro gave a smirk "Very well, in the event of our loss I'll follow your lead in the voting process. Provided you follow mine next time we lose."

"I'll… take it under advisement."

"That's all I ask." he grabbed her hand and moved to kiss it, only to be forced to duck to avoid a shovel being hurled at him "¡Oye!"

"Oops." Duncan gave a smirk at Alejandro as he walked away, then looked at Courtney "Let me guess, he tried to sucker you into an alliance?"

"Something like that." Courtney leaned in closer so only he could hear "But he did agree to go with my plan for voting if we lose tonight."

"So what, we get rid of one of the control freaks?"

"No someone else, I'll tell you later when we're alone."

"Alone huh? I like the sound of that." Duncan shot a smirk at Courtney, the two of them leaning in for a kiss, until…

"Attention team, listen and listen good!" Jo was quick to catch everyone's attention and ruin the moment "I am your leader!"

"Don't listen to her, if anyone is the leader it's me!" Heather slammed her shovel into the sand for emphasis, only to end up hitting something "I think I just found a piece!" she quickly did a bit of digging and pulled out a piece, and started carrying it over to the platform "This proves why I'm fit to lead!"

"Like hell it does!" Jo grabbed hold of the piece and started tugging on it "You never would've found the piece if it wasn't for me!"

"Keep telling yourself that." Heather gave a smirk and dropped the piece, causing it to land on top of Jo's foot, earning a loud crack and a scream of pain "Oops, my bad." and then she got pushed into the moat, leaving her to be swarmed by crabs.

"Oops, my bad." Jo gave her own smirk, and then she moved to get the piece off her foot.

"And they're supposed to be our leaders? Please?" Scott let out a snort as he dug his shovel into the sand, only for an explosive to go off and send him hurtling into the moat, where he also got swarmed by crabs "(Insert cluster of bleeps)!"

"Well what do you know, pretty epic start so far." Chris turned to the camera "A few booby traps triggered, two puzzle pieces found and two deliciously evil moats. This is still anyone's game, and now they're getting ready to bring the pain, right here on Total! Drama! All Stars!"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

One commercial break later…

"Welcome back." Chris turned to the camera, his voice low "A full hour has passed since our challenge began, and the teams are still tied at one piece each. Of course that raises a pertinent question… WHAT IN THE HELL IS TAKING SO LONG?!" he was met with various yells and complaints from the contestants, which he quickly disregarded "Blah blah freaking blah, does it look like I care about any of your problems? Just hurry the hell up already, I told you before that I had dinner plans!"

"We're trying okay? Cody moved over to another area to dig, only for a springboard to end up launching him across the beach.

"Ha! Nice!" Scott burst out laughing at the sight, only for it to end when Cody crashed into him, and he moved to push Cody off of him, then stopped when he noticed a certain something poking out of the sand "Now see, that's more like it!" he shoved Cody off of him and tossed the piece onto his team's platform "That's putting us at two, thanks nerd."

"Glad I could help… also ow…"

"Hold still runt, I gotcha." Duncan slung Cody over his shoulder and carried him over to the border between the two team areas, where he handed him to Gwen "There, he's your problem now."

"Thanks… and ow…"

"Take it eays Cody, I've got you." Gwen gently helped Cody back onto his feet "You gonna be okay from here?"

"Just let the room stop spinning…"

"We're outside."

"Oh… then no…" and then he fell to the ground again.

"...Aw (bleep)." Gwen breathed a sigh "Here's hoping the others are making progress."

"I wish I could say so." Dawn drew her attention from where she was kneeling on the sand and looking around "I'm having difficulty locating any pieces myself.

"Can't your aura sensing stuff help you narrow it down?"

"To a certain extent yes, but I'm sensing so many conflicting energies in this area that it's hard to pinpoint where exactly the pieces have been hidden." Dawn continued searching until a crab crawled out of the pit pointing to a certain spot "You want us to follow you? DJ, I believe my little crustacean companion is willing to help us.

"I'm on it. I think." DJ broke off from where he was digging and followed the crab over to a spot on the other end of their area and began digging, and after a moment he pulled out a piece of the statue "I got it, that makes two!"

"Excellent, and we have our little one to thank." Dawn gently patted the crab, causing it to let out a purring noise, and then sat it back down on the sand "Along with your strength of course."

"Hey you're the one who directed me, that was thanks to you. A lot of amazing things happen because of you actually." DJ gave her a small smile, the two of them locking eyes… and then a moment passed before he let out a cough and looked away "Right, so… we got two but we still need five, so I'm gonna dig over there." and so he walked away, leaving Dawn standing alone in silence.

All the while, Cody was watching the scene unfold as he pulled himself back to his feet and shook off his disorientation, then shared a look with Gwen "Okay, so… that happened."

"Yep." was all she said.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with another hero couple…

"Come on, come on…" Zoey gritted her teeth as she tried to pull a piece of the statue out of the sand, albeit with little success "Man, what are these things made of?"

"No need to worry sweetheart, I'll take it from here." Manitoba popped next to her and began to pull at the piece "Don't bother straining yourself, allow me."

"Well I mean, if you insist…"

"Yep, just give me a sec here and- Get down!" Manitoba yanked Zoey to the ground just as a cannon popped out of the sand and shot out a boxing glove, missing them by a few centimeters, only to instead hit Gwen in the back of the head and knock her into, resulting in lots of snapping noises and cries of pain.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the Villains…

"Yes!" Courtney gave a grin of triumph as she pulled a piece out of the sand "I got one, that makes three!"

"Right on Princess, now that's what I'm talking about-" Duncan was cut off by a trap springing up in front of him, throwing a bucket of sand in his face, causing Courtney to burst out laughing at the sight, to which he just scowled and wiped the sand from his face.

"Well it's about freaking time!" Jo on the other hand pulled a piece out of a hole she dug a few feet away, until…

"Thanks for that." Scott suddenly snatched the piece from her and brought it over towards the platform before throwing it on "Definitely gonna make me look good in front of the rest of the team."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the Heroes…

"Look alive soldiers, I just found another piece!" Brick held up a piece in triumph… only for the grin to be wiped off his face by a pole bursting out of the ground, causing him to fall to the ground squealing in pain "Why…?"

"Eesh." Chris winced at the sight, then looked over at Chef as he held up a bowl "Nuts?"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the Villains…

"Looks like that brings us to five, so far so good." Scott gave a smirk as he pulled another piece out of the sand and threw it towards his team's platform… only to end up hitting Anne Maria in the back of the head and knocking her into the moat "Aw crap." he looked down at Anne Maria in the moat, then up at the platform and saw the piece landed safely "Okay good."

"(Bleep) you pit-stains!" came the angry cursing tirade amidst the pinchers snapping.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the Heroes…

"That ougtha make another one, just like taking vegemite from a roo." Manitoba gave a smirk of triumph as he tossed another piece onto the Heroes' platform, then turned his attention to Zoey as his smirk widened "You know I could show ya how sometime if ya like."

"No thanks, I mean with Mike maybe but…" Zoey started blushing and promptly walked away from the scene, leaving Manitoba looking fairly amused and impressed.

"Yep she's a loyal one no doubt, Mike definitely knows how to pick em." Manitoba then cast a glance over to where DJ was watching Dawn communicate with a few crabs "Looks like he ain't the only one either. Not to shabby big guy." but then something else caught his eye, and his gaze hardened "Now what do we have here?"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the Villains…

"So far so good from the look of it." Scott looked up at the pieces gathered on the platform, then over at the Heroes' platform "But even so… maybe a little contingency plan couldn't hurt." so he looked around to make sure no one was watching him, slunk over to the Heroes' side and poked his shovel around until he found a piece of their statue, dug it out, and then proceeded to rebury it, on the Villains' side "That oughta make things interesting."

"Is that right mate?"

Scott whipped around and found Manitoba glaring at him "Uh, hey, what's up?"

"Cool it with the nice guy act kookaburra, why don't ya tell me what you're up to."

"I have no idea what you're talking about."

"Is that right?" Manitoba stuck a finger in his mouth and picked up a big of sand from the spot that Scott had dug, licked it, and then reached into the hole and dug out the piece, shooting a smirk at Scott as he did so "Nice try ya wily little dingo, now what are we gonna do about you now?"

"Uh…" Scott took a step back, his foot pressing on a mechanism hidden in the sand, releasing a swarm of bees from a trap door "Wait no not the bees, anything but the bees!" he spun around and ran, accidentally hitting Manitoba in the head with his shovel in the process, sending him crashing to the ground.

Scott had no idea what he was setting into motion.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, inside Mike's head…

"I got it!" Svetlana placed down her hand of cards in front of Chester and Vito "And that is go with the fishing."

"Ayo, we been over this. It's Go Fish, not-" Vito was cut off by a loud thud, which came courtesy of Manitoba crashing in from the ceiling "What the-"

"Oh, that can't be good." Chester muttered.

"Took a mighty bad blow to the head from that kookaburra." Manitoba let out a pained groan as he pulled himself back to his feet, only to freeze and take a look around "You lot feel that don't ya? It's him… the Malevolent One… he's coming!"

"What?!" Chester, Vito and Svetlana looked up in horror as the picture of Mike hanging above them was burned away, revealing the shadowy image of a figure with one eye being covered by a bang, a smirk plastered across his face.

"No way around it mates… Looks like we're in the Endgame now."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, even further into Mike's head…

Deep within the recesses of Mike's mind, within an isolated prison-like tower sat a lone figure with dark rings around his eyes, a bang covering the left side of his face and one of his eyes, bound by chains from every direction. His eyes both snapped open as all of the chains shattered, except for the ones binding his arms and legs, and he gave a smirk "He must have taken one hell of a blow to the head… Well that works out for me… Looks like the pieces are starting to fall into place… Better get ready Mike, because it's time for our last game to get started…"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, back in the real world…

"Mike! Mike come on, please be okay! Come on Mike wake up!"

"Oh man, my head…" Mike let out a pained groan as he opened his eyes and found Zoey and DJ gathered around him "What happened?"

"You took a bad blow to the head." DJ told him "Stay here and rest for now, we can take care of the challenge from here on out."

"No no, I'm fine, just a little bit lightheaded." Mike picked himself up and placed the fedora back on… only for nothing to happen "Huh, that's weird. Manitoba is supposed to come out when I put on a hat, but…"

"Hm. That doesn't seem right." DJ frowned in thought as he watched Mike get back to digging, only to look over and see Dawn sitting on the ground away from the others, trembling visibly, so he rushed over and knelt down beside her "Dawn are you okay, what's the matter?"

"DJ, I'm so sorry…" Dawn looked up at him with fear evident in her eyes "I was hoping that I could find a way to prevent this, but it seems I was wrong…"

"Prevent what Dawn, what are you talking about?"

"Something dark has been awakened, and if not dealt with properly… There's no telling what it may do…"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional)

"Okay, that's definitely gonna make my skin crawl." DJ cringed at the thought "But Dawn isn't the type of person to say stuff like that without good reason. Whatever it is that's freaking her out so bad, it's gotta be serious. But I can't just freak out and pass out either. I've never been the best with scary stuff, but if she and my friends need me… I'll do whatever I gotta do."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the Heroes…

"Okay, I think I found another one…" Cody gritted his teeth as he pulled another statue piece out of the sand, only to stop when he noticed a certain hole nearby "What the heck? That one is like 20 feet deep!"

"Oh you can thank Dawn for that one." DJ told him "Apparnetly she asked a few of the crabs from the pit to help us dig for pieces."

"...Sure, that's cool, whatever works I guess Speaking of which, how many pieces do we have now?"

"Give me a second and we'll find out." DJ grabbed hold of Cody's piece and hoisted it onto the platform, and then he looked around at the other pieces "Looks like we've got 5 of the 7 pieces we need. You think we should start building?"

"Probably for the best, we can't waste too much time." Zoey looked over at the others "You guys start trying to figure out the puzzle, Mike and I will keep digging.

"Look alive team, this should make six pieces!" Brick rushed his way over to the platform with another piece in hand… only to end up triggering another spring board in the sand that launched him into the lake, hitting a boat passing by in the process.

"Huh, that's a bit off." Chris cast an innocent look over at Chef "You know when we conducted the safety tests, that boat wasn't there."

"Yeah right, as if we test these things." Chef let out a snort, and then the two of them burst out laughing.

"I'm okay." Brick slowly crawled his way out of the water, shook off the disorientation he felt and gave a quick salute to his team "No need to worry soldiers, your team captain wouldn't let a little swim get him down so easily!" he dropped his salute when he noticed the looks the others were giving him "What?"

"Um, dude?" Gwen directed Brick's attention to where an octopus was firmly latched onto the back of his head.

"...Oh." Brick paused for a moment, then subsequently screamed at the top of his lungs and began pulling at it, with little success "It won't come off!"

"Easy easy buddy, I got you." Cody took a step forward to try and calm Brick down "I don't know a lot about these things, but freaking out and flailing around is just going to get them all worked up. Let me try this." he gently rubbed the octopus on the top of its head, causing it to release its grip on Brick and let go, allowing him to throw it back into the ocean "That oughta be good now."

"Thanks for the help soldier. I didn't think you knew anything about sea creatures."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional)

"Actually I don't. I just got the idea from an episode of Avatar the Last Airbender." Cody gave a shrug "But hey, I like to call that a win against the people who say you don't learn anything from cartoons."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the Villains…

"Got it!" Scott pulled out another piece of the statue and tossed it onto the platform "Is that all of them?"

"Just a moment and I'll varify." Alejandro leapt up onto the platform and counted off the pieces, then looked over at the others "We have six, there should still be one more out there."

"Don't just sit there, get out and find the last piece!" Heather leapt onto the platform to start work on the statue, with Jo and Anne Maria joining her to build it "Don't just sit around like a pack of lumps, put this thing together already!"

"Hey watch it ya little (bleep), I don't see you working on it!" Anne Maria shot a pissed off look at Heather, but got to work on the statue regardless.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Now back to building the statue…

"Okay let's see here…" Brick frowned in thought as he looked around the various pieces that were gathered on the platform "A book and a crown, I don't understand what these are supposed to make."

"Wait a minute, a book and a crown?" Cody and Gwen's gaze immediately snapped up and turned to each other "The Statue of Liberty! Let's get to it!"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the Villains…

"Evidently this supposed to be a tower, but…" Alejandro frowned in thought as he looked it over, and then it dawned on her "It's supposed to be Big Ben!"

"You heard him tan in a can, move it!" Jo and Anne Maria quickly got to work on building the tower.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional)

"Big Ben, oh freaking joy…" Duncan gave a scowl "Not the best time for me for a few different reasons. Oddly enough, getting kicked in the schnitzel wasn't at the top of my list."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, with the Heroes…

"Okay so far so good, just one piece left…" Gwen looked up at the replica of the Statue of Liberty, then over at the others "Only one piece left, it's gotta be down there somewhere."

"Is there an area we haven't looked in yet?" asked Cody.

"I don't know, I checked all through mine and I know you did too."

"I believe I know where we can find it." Dawn directed their attention to where a crab sprung out of a hole on the beach… carrying the missing piece of their statue, which it promptly handed to her "Thank you little one!"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, on the Villain side…

"Dammit they got the last piece, where the (bleep) is it?!" Scott slammed his shove into the sand to dig, only to end up hitting something buried, and after a big more digging he pulled out the final piece of their statue "Yes, I got the last piece!"

"Don't just stand there you idiot, put it on the statue!" Heather barked at him.

"What do you think I'm doing?!" Scott grabbed hold of the last piece of the clock and rushed over to the statue as fast as he could, until…

"And it's over!" Chris directed everyone's attention to where Dawn had placed the last piece on the Heroes' statue, completing it "The Heroic Hawks win the day!" he was immediately met with cheers from the Hawks and groans of frustration from the Vultures, until Chris broke in to ruin the moment once again "Of course you know that I do need one of you to step up for exile duty on Boney Island."

"Permission to speak?" Brick stood at attention "I volunteer for exile duty."

"Fair enough. Chef."

"I just think that as one of the strongest players on our team, it's only right that I put myself out there for all of you. I just need to grab the night vision goggles in my bag before" Brick didn't get a chance to finish before Chef grabbed him by the back of the shirt and yanked him away and onto the Boat of Losers, taking him away to Boney Island "Now get moving, I've got my dinner plans in like 10 minutes and making this face presentable doesn't come easy."

"Right." so the Heroes started making their way back off the beach, Zoey supporting Mike as they did so "Come on let's you to the Hotel, maybe getting some rest will make your head feel better." but then she stopped when she saw Courtney approaching them "Oh, Courtney… hey there."

"Hi, I just wanted to say congratulations on the win in the-" Courtney was cut short when she accidentally stepped on another trigger that launched a garbage bag into the air, and on instinct she hit it with her shovel… right into Zoey, sending her crashing to the ground.

"Zoey! Hang on, I'll get you to the infirmary just to be safe." Mike was quick to take her into his arms and carry her off the beach, leaving Courtney standing there alone.

"Wait I'm sorry, that was an accident, I didn't mean-"

"Well what do you know?" Chris wasted no time in giving a mocking applause "Another show of evil on your part Courtney, you definitely are on the right team." and then he started laughing to mock her… only to be met with a piece of a statue being hurled at his head, knocking him out cold.

"What the-" Courtney looked over to see Duncan stepping away from the Villains' statue and shooting one of his typical finger pistols in his direction, to which she gave a small smile back at him "Thanks."

"You know if he didn't throw something at Chris, I would've."

Courtney looked over to see Gwen standing a short distance away "I know he's not the kind of guy to give big heartfelt speeches or anything, I've come to accept that. But it's nice to know he wants to support me. In his own way."

"That and wanting to throw something at Chris. I find the prospect of being able to hit him in the face more enticing than winning a million dollars, and frankly I don't know what that says about my mental heath." Gwen gave a shrug, but then breathed a sigh "Look let's be real here for a minute okay? I get it, really I do. We've both done a lot of stupid stuff on this show and made fools out of ourselves. Like me with Trent during Total Drama Action, people treated me like crap for the most part afterwards, except for Cody, DJ and a few others. As much as all of that sucked, it did teach me a few things. I learned that once you realize that you screwed up, it takes more than just a big speech or heartfelt apology to make up for it. Redeeming yourself takes a lot of time. It's never going to be easy, but there really isn't any way to go but up."

"Yeah… Yeah I guess you're right." Courtney gave her a small smile "Thanks for that Gwen, really."

"No worries. We'll talk later alright?" so Gwen patted Courtney on the shoulder and then walked away to join the rest of the Heroes, leaving Courtney alone with a bit to think about.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Nightfall came, and the time for the elimination ceremony had begun.

"Heroic Hawks, welcome to the first proper elimination ceremony of the season." Chris greeted the Heroic Hawks as they took their place in the Peanut Gallery "Sit back and watch as one of the villains gets sent home in our most humiliating fashion yet!" with that in mind, he turned to where the Villains were all sitting on stumps by the fire "As for you Vultures, the time has come for you to vote off your first villain."

"So then we sit back and enjoy the show? Sounds good to me." Mike suddenly gave a smirk and leaned back as his appearance change, one bang of his hair covering one of his eyes, both eyes having dark rings around them as a smirk spread across his face "Now that Mal is back on board, things are about to get interesting."

"Wait what? Mike did you say something?" Zoey glanced over at Mike, only to see his hair spiked back up in its usual way, the dark rings around his eyes disappeared as he returned to normal, totally oblivious.

"What, no I'm just sitting here. Why?"

"I thought I heard you say something."

"BACK TO ME." Chris cut that conversation short, along with any others as he turned back to the Villains "This season, you guys will place your votes by drawing an 8 x 10 picture of the contestant that you want to eliminate. Now get to voting."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional- Duncan)

"Kind of a tough call to be honest." Duncan gave a shrug "Courtney seems pretty sure that Scott screws over his own team, and I don't need anyone trying to throw me under before I can get my hands on the million. Then again, Heather and Jo are pretty annoying. Tough call."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(Confessional- Scott)

"Like hell they're getting the better of me so soon." Scott shot a glare at the camera "I came so close last time, no chance in hell I'm letting them send me home now."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Now for the actual elimination ceremony…

"Alright Villains, it's elimination time, for real this time." Chris held up a series of photos in his hand, with Chef standing beside him holding a tray of marshmallows "You know the drill by now, you get a marshmallow and you're safe, you don't and you're out. The following Villains are safe for one more day. Duncan. Courtney. Anne Maria. Alejandro, and Heather ." he had Chef toss out marshmallows to each one as their names were called "Jo, Scott, the two of you are on the chopping block for similar reasons, being that you were both big threats during your time on Revenge of the Island. The difference being that Jo was an annoyingly pushy control freak, and Scott had a history of sabotaging his own team and shifting the blame."

"Yeah yeah, just get it over with already." Scott gave a confident smirk "I'm not the one who spent the whole challenge barking in their ears like a dog, so give me the marshmallow and stick her in the catapult."

"Chill out farm boy, I'm getting to it. And for tonight, the loser is…" a dramatic pause, and then he revealed the picture of the one eliminated "Scott!"

"Wait, what?! You gotta be kidding me!" Scott bolted to his feet in outrage, then rounded on the other members of his team "I don't believe you all, you completely duped me!" there was a brief pause, and then he let out a chuckle "I guess I rubbed off on you guys. Alright fine, stick me in the catapult and let's get this over with."

"Actually change of plans, we're not reusing the Hurl of Shame since the patent wouldn't go all the way through. This season, we have a whole new method of eliminating our losers that's even more humiliating."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

About 3 minutes later…

"And here it is now!" it didn't take long for Chris and Chef to stick Scott in their newest method of elimination and humiliation, in the form of a giant toilet "Behold, we give to you the Flush of Shame, the patent is still pending." he was met with looks of disgust from the other villains "Any last words?"

"Yeah, you can all kiss my-" Scott didn't get the chance to finish before Chris pussed the button on his remote and flushed away by the giant toilet, resulting in a backsplash that drenched almost everyone on the dock.

"Keep in mind people, this is supposed to be a family show." Chris stowed away his umbrella as he turned to the camera to sign off "Who's the next contestant in the long line of giving us a big porcelain goodbye? There's only one way to find out, and it's to tune in when we come back on Total! Drama! All Stars!"

Team Rosters:

Heroic Hawks: Cody, Gwen, DJ, Mike, Zoey, Brick, Dawn

Villainous Vultures: Duncan, Courtney, Heather, Alejandro, Jo, Anne Maria

Exiled to Boney Island: Brick

Elimination Order:

Scott- 14th

A/N:

This chapter marks the first major changes I have planned for this story. Granted I'm still going through with the Mal arc, even though I know a fair number of you out there weren't particularly fond of it, but I'm gonna give it a pretty sizable overhaul, and we'll see how it plays out.

Like I once said, with a new story comes sacrifices. I can imagine that a lot of you out there aren't happy that Scott was the first one eliminated here. I've noticed a lot of people say that he was one of the best parts of All Stars in canon, and I do agree to a certain extent, but aside from being the guy who gets hurt for comedy relief (which is a role that's pretty easy to fill), the biggest part of his arc was his growing relationship with Courtney, but since she and Duncan are still a thing here, that's not going to happen. The biggest thing he did here was hit Mike over the head with a shovel, which led to Mal awakening. Combine that with the fact that he's become pretty notorious for sabotaging his own team, and there wasn't much of a reason to not vote him off.
