Holiday observed, no classes. Seiya breaks a punching bag while Hyoga freezes the pool. He shatters the ice triggering an explosion, scaring dorm students nearby. Then the police arrive and inspect nearby dorms. When the police approach their dorm, the BB hides in their rooms. Upon finding nothing, the police leave the campus. Mitsuru calls them, asking if everything's all right. Then BB talks about alternatives to keep their skills fresh. Some say out of the city is suggested, but others have doubts.
The weather for today is sunny.
This week begins the May chapter.
Just as Shiryu said, there is no class because yesterday was a holiday, and it is observed today. Seiya thinks of honing his skills at the dorm gym using a punching bag.
Seiya – The gym's fine and all, but I demand real action.
He accidentally blows the punching bag due to excessive force. Seiya watches as sand drops to the floor.
Seiya (sweatdrop) Whoops! I overdid it.
An earth-shattering kaboom occurs.
Seiya (alert) No way! That came from the pool!
Seiya dashes towards the dorm pool, expecting the worst. Instead, he sees a confused Hyoga and friends who also appear simultaneously.
Seiya (shocked) What the—?
He sees an ice-shattered hole in the middle of the pool. Chunks of ice are floating around, and screams of students at nearby dorms rip through the walls immediately.
Shiryu (surprised) What's going on here?
Hyoga (sweatdrop) Well, I got the idea of honing my skills at the pool, and I... well, overdid it.
Suddenly, they hear sirens in the distance.
Seiya – That's not good. We're screwed if we get caught. Let's hide in my room.
The BBs hurry and hide in Seiya's room. They wait for the outside lights and sound to fade.
KNOCK, KNOCK!
Seiya – Did you guys hear that?
Hyoga – Yeah, they're knocking on the front door.
Shun – We have to open...
Seiya – That's a bad idea, Shun. We must wait for them to leave.
The knocking fades, and the outside lights and noise withdraw as an indication that it's over.
RING! RING!
Or so they thought.
Shiryu – That's most likely Saori-san or Mitsuru-san.
Seiya sighs as he exits and slowly descends the stairs to pick up the phone on the counter. His friends follow him.
Seiya (phone) Hello?
Mitsuru (phone) It's me, Mitsuru. Are you boys alright? The police came to the school.
Seiya (phone) Yeah, we're fine...
Mitsuru (phone) That's good to hear. (sighs) Let me guess, you used your powers?
Seiya (phone) Yeah, we did.
Mitsuru (phone) I thought so. Look, boys, you won't get another chance if you're suspended again. Miss Kido hasn't been notified since a tragedy didn't occur. Just don't engage ever again. Later. (hangs up)
The BBs sit on the sofa, completely demoralized.
Seiya – That is so not cool, man...
Hyoga – We can't hone our skills anymore...
Shiryu – Okay, I think we learned our lesson.
Shun – I agree. Let's do this for the sake of not getting suspended.
Seiya – Is there really no other way?
Hyoga (whispers) Seiya, how about outside the city?
Seiya (surprised) You mean, like the outdoors and stuff? You know, you're on to something.
Shiryu – Whatever you two are planning, you do you. I'm not getting involved.
Shun (sweatdrop) Um, good luck, you two...
