"Director." Kendell greeted the next day as he was shown into the briefing room.
"Agent Kendell, thanks for coming." Alex said.
"Of course. But I was surprised by the invite."
"You were?" Alex asked.
"Yes. You have actively tried to not work with me for weeks and now you have requested multiple meetings over the last few days and if the rumours are to be believed, started a joint task force."
"While Lobo is definitely a DEO problem, his targets are high profile and we feel it is safer for them to have the FBI involved. The FBI has resources we don't."
"You've identified the targets? But how? From what was on the news you clearly aren't working with him." Kendell said.
"That's right. We decided against it, too many risks. So instead we are keeping an eye on him. And by doing that we know he has been given information."
"By who?"
"Don't know. It will take time to ID the bodies. Well find the body parts then ID them." Alex said. "Lobo did quite a number on them."
"What's the intel and how exactly did you get it?"
"We, well Supergirl during her fight, may have planted a bug on Lobo. So we know what he was told."
"Which was?"
"Something that will cause a few headaches." Alex started. "He is going to go after Simon Stagg."
"He has a small army protecting him." Kendell said.
"Not sure that will be enough." Alex said. "The best thing he can do is to prove that he is not involved. But the problem is Lobo has been told he is involved."
"By who? I mean I assume whoever it was sent the now deceased person to Lobo rather than go in person."
"Yes. And during the discussion between Lobo and our John Doe, one name of interest came ."
"As in Simon Tycho? Why would he hire Lobo to kill Stagg?" Kendell asked sitting forward.
"No idea. All we know is his name was given as the source of the contract." Alex said. "There may be nothing in it, but we are looking into it. But for now Stagg is a concern. I'm going to see him later. But Lobo is going to take all our resources and the President would rather not have such high profile characters assassinated, so we would like you to head up their protection detail. Your job is to keep him away from Lobo. If it gets into a firefight you will lose. So if Lobo comes you take Stagg and run and hide."

"What can I do for you?" Stagg asked as Alex and Kendell were shown into his office.
"I will keep this brief." Alex said. "There is currently a very powerful alien bounty hunter on Earth and we think you may be his target."
"Me? Why me?"
"He has been told that you were responsible for the death of an alien."
"Told by who?"
"We are trying to figure that out, but the name Simon Tycho came up in the intel." Alex said. "The important part of this though is that the alien bounty hunter will be coming after you and he is extremely powerful."
"When you say powerful? How powerful?"
"You saw the fight with Supergirl?" Alex asked.
"Yes, but rumours are Supergirl is a little messed up right now." Stagg shrugged.
"At full strength maybe Supergirl could beat him, but the thing is he is effectively immortal. His ability to regenerate is unbelievable." Alex said. "He is the most powerful alien we have ever come across."
"And to be clear he is not Kryptonian?"
"No."
"An alien more powerful than Kryptonians." Stagg mused. "So what can we do to stop him? What is his Kryptonite?"
"We have found nothing nothing so far." Alex said.
"Shame he is the enemy, he'd make a perfect partner." Stagg mused.
"Instead he is the perfect enemy. If he finds you, your chances of survival are low. So Agent Kendell will be running your security detail. I will leave him to discuss details with you. If you have any questions please ask Kendell." Alex said turning to the door.
"You aren't going to ask?" Stagg asked.
"Ask what?" Alex questioned.
"If I killed this alien."
"If you had, I doubt you'd confess. So if I did ask you'd reply no regardless." Alex shrugged.
"Ah, you're a straight shooter. I like that." Stagg said. "That leg looks painful."
"It's fine."
"What happened?"
"Some guys painted a target on their back." Alex shrugged.

"How'd it go?" Kara asked as Alex climbed into the DEO car that was waiting for her.
"What are you doing here?" Alex asked.
"Keeping an eye on you. And can I just point out that you don't seem to be behind a desk right now?"
"The car is a mobile desk and in Stagg's office I was behind his desk." Alex said as Ruby started driving.
"Don't think Eliza will buy it." Kara pointed out.
"She doesn't need to know." Alex said.
"I think she'd disagree. So what did Stagg say?" Kara asked.
"You weren't listening?"
"Of course I was. But I think I misheard as Stagg seemed relaxed. And at one stage it sounded a lot like Stagg wanted to get hold of Lobo and experiment on him."
"Yeah." Alex agreed.
"You think he is going to try and capture Lobo?"
"At this stage I am ruling nothing out." Alex said. "But maybe we can use that to our advantage."

"You brought a friend." Lobo said as Supergirl entered his cave with Alex. He then offered a bottle to Alex who shook her head.
"I see your problem, you don't know anyone who is fun. That is why you aren't fun." Lobo said to Supergirl. "So what d'ya want?"
"We think Stagg might want to experiment on you." Alex said.
"So?" Lobo asked.
"That could lead us to who you are looking for." Alex said.
"So I just need to get captured?" Lobo asked.
"Yes."
"Not happening. No way humans can do that." Lobo said.
"Then let's let Stagg know about your weakness." Supergirl said.
"I don't have one." He pointed out.
"They don't know that." Supergirl said.
"What?" He asked.
"You and Supergirl have another fight. We shoot you. You pretend to be hurt and run off. Stagg steals the weapon from us. They shoot you. You get taken. We find you and then clear up the mess." Alex said.
"Thought you didn't want me killing." Lobo said.
"We don't."
"But you'll clear up my mess."
"I didn't mean a building full of bodies." Kara said.

"What do you think?" Alex asked as Supergirl landed them on Lena's balcony.
"If Lobo gets captured it could lead us to the Metas." Kara said.
"It didn't with you." Alex pointed out.
"Yes, but that was Tycho not Stagg. My concern is what Lobo will do before we get there."
"Yeah, if he has time he will kill."
"Well, we just need to make sure he doesn't have any time." Kara said.
"But how do we ensure that?" Alex asked.
"As soon as we have a location I'll fly there."
"And then who has your back?" Alex said. "They could be setting a trap for you."
"As far as the world knows I am not working with Lobo."
"What if you were right the other day when you suggested Lobo is working with them?" Alex countered.
"Why would he do that?"
"Because he thinks it is fun?" Alex suggested as Lena walked back into her office and saw the pair.
"Hello?" She asked.
"Hi." Kara smiled.
"What can I do for you?" Lena asked. "And I am pretty sure you should not be standing." She added looking at Alex.
"I have no weight on my leg." Alex said.
"I don't think that's the point. But I assume you didn't come here for a lecture?"
"No. We need your help." Kara said.

"It's about time you took my call." Stagg growled when Tycho finally appeared on the monitor.
"I am a busy man and time is money. What do you want?"
"Rumour has it you hired a bounty hunter to kill me."
"As far as I know you are the only one to have hired bounty hunters recently. If I recall it ended up in a failed attempt to kill a teenager in hospital." Tycho said.
"Yet I am now a target." Stagg said. "Something Agent Danvers was very happy to share with me."
"You met Danvers?" Tycho asked.
"Yes. She's been tasked with looking after me."
"Why?"
"The bounty hunter is an alien." Stagg said. "Wait, is that your plan? If Danvers spends time with me she'll be exposed and you can use her as bait again."
"I admit I like that plan. But I haven't hired any bounty hunter." Tycho said. "Now I am a busy man." He said killing the link leaving Stagg fuming.
"What do you want me to do?" A man asked from the far side of Stagg's office.
"Get me that bounty hunter. If he has a weakness the DEO will know."
"Yes Sir."

"Okay, listen up." Alex said as she and Supergirl landed in the command room a few hours later. "Lena Luthor thinks she has a weapon that will work on Lobo. It is in this box. Travis, your team will use it. It does not leave your sight. The second Lobo appears you deploy. But remember it may not work."
"Yes Ma'am." He said taking the gun.
"I mean it, you guard that. It is the only weapon we have."
"Yes Ma'am." He repeated. Alex then took out her phone and called Kendell.
"Do you have something?" He asked.
"Yes, we may have a weapon. If you see Lobo call me immediately." Alex said before hanging up. She then looked at Vasquez and said.
"I'll leave the rest to you."
"Yes ma'am" Vasquez said wondering what exactly was happening.
"Let's go" Supergirl said picking Alex up and flying her home. As they flew she commented. "You really went for the sledge hammer approach there didn't you?"
"Let's hope it works." Alex replied.
