"Sorry I'm late." Supergirl said entering the DEO the next day.
"It's fine." Alex said. "Is everything okay?"
"Yeah, had to submit and article. So what's the mission?"
"We think we have found a disused facility used by Stagg. We need to have a look."
"We? Since when do you come on missions?" Supergirl asked.
"Since J'onn was prepping to go undercover and the rest of my team are on spider hunts. I don't want you going in alone." Alex said.
"I thought this was an empty facility."
"Since when is our luck that good?" Alex asked.
"You have a good point." Kara said. "So where am I flying you?"
"Here." Alex said pointing to a map. Nodding Kara grabbed her sister and flew off to the location in the desert.
When they landed Alex said. "What about the briefing?"
"There's a briefing?" Kara asked.
"Well there will be when my team had finished the scan. Don't go any closer to that building."
"Okay." Supergirl said Alex radioed the DEO.
"They need another five minutes." Alex said as she killed the link.
"I have already looked through the building, can't see anything bad." Supergirl said.
"Well let's get all the results in before we charge in." Alex said.
"In which case you can tell me how it went last night." Kara pointed out.
"Okay. I guess."
"That didn't sound convincing."
"She is really shaken. It's like she has lost her confidence in well everything. She is so lost, but I don't know how to help."
"Experience?" Kara suggested. "I mean weren't you feeling like that not so long ago? How did you get over it." Seeing Alex pull a face she asked. "Have you got over it?"
"Not really."
"Why didn't you say anything?" Supergirl asked. Alex was saved from answering by her team giving her the all clear.
"Let's go." Alex said.
"We'll talk later." Kara said as she walked towards the building.
"Unless this is a giant trap." Alex said pulling out her gun and following her sister in.
"Would it hurt you to be optimistic?" Supergirl asked as they entered the building. "See nothing happened."
"Yet." Alex pointed out as they walked towards what they hoped was the main office.
As they entered a room they suddenly heard a loud clunk behind them. Turning they saw the door had shut.
"What's a door to me?" Supergirl asked as she tried to open it, only to find it wouldn't, so instead she punched it, her hand going straight through. "See?" She asked as she punched again in a spot adjacent to the first punch. This time her hand hit something solid and unforgiving causing her to cry in pain.
"You okay?" Alex asked.
"No." Supergirl said shaking her hand as Alex looked at the first hole. Pulling some of the material to one side she saw the metal bar her sister had punched.
"I think it is Nth metal." Alex said. "Can you use you x-ray vision?"
"Yeah." Supergirl said still shaking her hand. After a moment she said. "That's not good. We are surrounded by bars."
"I thought you scanned the building?" Alex asked.
"For people and bombs." Kara said.

"Hey." Diz said catching up with the teenage Kara who was walking Chewie with MJ and her cousin.
"What are you doing here?" Kara asked turning. "Please tell me it is not to talk about the Games Expo."
"The what?" He asked confused.
"How can you not know?" MJ asked looking appalled as they heard Alex gasp as Chewie started barking. Turning they saw the teenage Alex clutching her head
"Alex? What's wrong?" The teenage Kara asked running to her side.
"Hurts. Can't stop." The teenager said, her voice quivering from the pain.
Squeezing her necklace, Kara asked. "What hurts?" But Alex didn't respond. Instead she dropped to her knees.
"Over there." Diz said seeing a strange looking man staring at Alex. Before he could do anything though another man appeared out of nowhere at Alex's side and said.
"Fruj." As he spoke he held out his arm, moments before the man who had been staring at Alex went flying backwards through the air before crashing unconscious into a car.
"Was that you?" MJ asked Diz.
"No." Diz said as they saw the teenage Alex release her grip on her head.
"You okay?" The teenage Kara asked.
"I don't know." Alex said as she looked up at the newcomer. As she did she recognised him and was too confused to say anything when he grabbed hold of her and said.
"We farkirg go."
"No." Kara said, grabbing hold of her cousin's other arm.
"It's not smeething." The man said.
"What?" The older teen asked. Causing the man to mutter in an alien language. "Wait, I know you." She said recognising the man.
"No gramth." He said pressing a button on his wrist causing all three to disappear.

"We have to get out of here." Supergirl said pushing against the ceiling.
"We're trying." Alex said.
"I mean now. Kara and MJ activated their beacons." Supergirl explained.
"So this was a trap and we walked straight into it." Alex said frustrated.
"During the training I just lifted the cell from the ground." Supergirl reminded her as she tried to repeat the feat. "Why isn't this working?"
"Well they probably put in better foundations." Alex said. "What about tunnelling. Can you use your heat vision on the ground?"
"Sure." Kara said trying to fight off the panic and focus on the task at hand.
"You doing okay?" Alex asked after a minute. "If you solar flare it will put the kids in more danger."
"I know." Supergirl said sounding frustrated before suddenly stopping.
"What's wrong?" Alex asked.
"I can only hear one alarm. I think it is MJ's. The other one just went silent." She said before once again trying to laser a tunnel.
After what felt like an eternity and with her and Alex covered in dirt the tunnel finally broke ground on the other side of the cage.
Finally free of the cage Supergirl grabbed hold of Alex and flew to the beacon she could hear.

"What's wrong?" Alex asked as she landed next to her son.
"He tried to hurt Alex." He said pointing to the unconscious man. "Then a guy saved her but took her and Kara."
"Where?" Supergirl asked.
"They just kind of disappeared." MJ said before noticing how much dirt covered his mom and aunt. "What happened to you?"
"Not important. Are you hurt?" Alex asked her son.
"No." He said as Supergirl went over to the unconscious man who was being watched by Diz.
"He's alive." She said.
"What do you mean disappeared?" Alex asked her son.
"Just that. One second they were there, the next they weren't." He explained.
"Let's get him to the DEO. He might be able to tell us where they are." Alex said looking at Supergirl.
"Wait." MJ said.
"What?" Alex asked her son.
"First I think he is a telepath." MJ said pointing at the man in Supergirl's arms. "And secondly I think I know who took them."

"You are fragh here." The man said as he and the two teens materialised on a ship.
"What?" Kara asked.
"Fragh. No. Sorry. The gatrik is julion. One mokli." He said moving to a panel as several other people entered the room and started talking in a language Kara and Alex didn't recognise.
After a few moments the man who took them approached them again and said.
"I'm sorry. The translator was malfunctioning. You are safe now."
"Aren't you dead?" Kara asked.
"No." The man said looking confused. "Maybe the translator is still broken."
"Are you Fels?" Kara went on as Alex stood behind her still trying to recover from what had happened.
"No. I'm Frax."
"You look like my father." Alex said finding her voice.
"I'm his brother." The man said. "I have been looking forward to meeting you. I am sorry for how it happened."
"Who was the other guy?" The teenage Kara asked.
"He works for Haldor."
"Who is?" Kara asked.
"My other brother." He explained before looking at Alex and adding. "He wants you dead."
"Why?"
"So you can't claim your share."
"What?" The teenage Alex asked confused.
"I'll explain everything. But first I need you to come with me."
"Why?"
"To prove that you are his daughter."
"She's not going anywhere." Kara said making sure she was between the man and her cousin.
"Who are you?"
"Family." The teen said causing him to wave a device in front of her before saying.
"No you're not. You are not even same species."
"Blood doesn't make you family." Kara said.
"It does on Dakran."
"Well we are on Earth." Kara pointed out.
"No we're not." He said pressing a button that caused the wall to change and display stars. "You are on my ship. I did not mean to bring you here. I'll return you."
"Not without Alex." The teenage Kara said, staying close to her cousin.
"Do you want her here?" The man asked Alex who nodded. "Then you can stay. But Alex must prove her identity. We don't have much time. This way. Please."
For a moment the two cousins looked at each other before following him out of the room.
