Welcome back to Uncharted Beyond Realms. Last time, Nathan Drake, Elena, and Sully were brought to Concurrent Skies, acting as a base for Cynder and her Guard cohorts. While she was off interrogating the leader of the Malefic Order creeps responsible for the restaurant attack, Spyro was telling Nate and company about the pendant mystery, including revealing the riddle that somehow connects them. Nate figures out what it means, and is soon embroiled in the hunt for whatever the story foretells. So, where are they going first? Read on to discover...

(Our story resumes exactly where we left off, with Nathan Drake, Elena, Sully, Spyro, and Cynder studying a map of the Realms, Nathan Drake having just deciphered the riddle)

Cynder: So then, Nathan, you've got the scroll deciphered, where do we go from here?

Nathan Drake: To be fair, it's only partially deciphered. All we know for sure is that the set of pendants we know exists is seven part rather than four part, and that three of them have been hidden somewhere.

Spyro: So then where do we start looking?

Nathan Drake: We'll know that once I figure out these three late lines. Something tells me they're telling us where they're hidden.

Elena: So what've we got on them?

Nathan Drake: They're strangely cryptic. If I'm reading this correctly, the three missing pendants are hidden in "city's tomb", "the nightmare's womb", and "on savior's land". I'm just trying to figure out what locations those are referring to.

Sully: Yeah, the last two are pretty weird. But that first one seems the clearest.

Spyro: That's probably where we should start then.

Nathan Drake: (Thinking about it) City's tomb... (Gets an idea) Does Warfang have a prominent graveyard? Maybe a mausoleum somewhere?

Cynder: No. Graveyards aren't as big a thing here as in the rest of the world.

Elena: How so?

Spyro: When a dragon dies, it's customary to reunite their body with their element. Fire dragons cremate, Electric dragons use pyres of electric gems, Water dragons do burials at sea. Wind dragons, well nobody knows what they did. Ice dragons freeze and shatter corpses. Generally only Earth dragons bury their dead in a similar manner to what humans do.

Elena: Fascinating.

Sully: Well, there goes that idea.

Nathan Drake: Okay, so likely not a graveyard. (Thinks about it again) Wait, they didn't say graveyard, they said tomb. That seems to imply we're going underground. (Realizes it) Underground... that's it!

Spyro: Now you're starting to think Warfang.

Nathan Drake: "City's tomb" just means it's under Warfang somewhere!

Cynder: Then I think I know where we're going. The Ruins. Biggest thing underneath Warfang, probably the only place that could qualify as a tomb.

Nathan Drake: Wait, there's ruins under Warfang?

Spyro: Yeah, there's a giant underground area beneath the city. We used it during the war as an escape route from the city.

Cynder: Looks like this may have been the original reason for it's construction.

Nathan Drake: Now we just have to make sure we get there before anyone else can.

Cynder: You don't have to worry about that.

Sully: How?

Cynder: The Warfang Guard has been using the Ruins as a training ground ever since the city was rebuilt after the war.

Nathan Drake: Then we need to get down there pronto.

Cynder: I'll get us in there. Follow me.

(With that, Cynder leads the group to one of the elevators in the fortress, sending it up to the roof. On the roof, Nathan Drake, Elena, and Sully climb on Spyro and Cynder's back as they take off heading back towards Warfang. But as they do, someone is watching. And soon afterwards, we transition to some dark throne room where a cloaked figure rests upon said throne.)

?: (After the unclear observer gives a quick bow) Report.

Watcher: They've deciphered the scroll. They're on their way to locate the first of the pendants.

?: (Enraged) YOU FOOL! Your job was to delay them so we could find them first!

Watcher: It would've worked if not for some meddling human figuring it out at first glance!

?: The same human that stopped our brethren at the restaurant?

Watcher: The very same.

?: Hmm... he continues to interest me. Seek them out. Do not let them recover the prize before we can.

Watcher: At once, my liege.

(And with that, the Watcher leaves, leaving the cloaked figure on the throne alone to contemplate what he has just heard)

?: This human could be... beneficial to me...

(And on that ominous anecdote, our tale ends for today)

And that looks like a good place to stop for today. So, the hunt is on, and we're heading to the Ruins of Warfang to find the first of the missing pendants. But the enemy is on to them, and we finally have some degree of a look at them. I will say this right now, there is something unique to this figure. Who is it? We'll find out as things go on. Now, what awaits in the Ruins of Warfang? Tune in next time to find out! Same time... same channel!
