Welcome back to Uncharted Beyond Realms. Last time, things got pretty awkward for Nathan Drake, not only having to face the accusations he levelled against Cynder in the Well of Souls, but because he essentially acted like a third wheel in her and Spyro's relationship troubles, and for all we know he witnessed them breaking up, as Cynder went on patrol to clear her nerves while Spyro went back home to get some advice from his parents about mending his relationship with Cynder, both leaving Nate alone on this quest now. So, how's he going to proceed? Read on to discover...

(The scene starts out with Elena and Sully looking over the information they have to try and locate the last pendant. At that moment, Nathan Drake enters, having just witnessed the fight between Spyro and Cynder)

Elena: (Seeing the look on Nathan Drake's face) You okay, Nate?

Nathan Drake: Not really. As far as I know, I was just responsible for Spyro and Cynder breaking up.

Elena: They have?

Nathan Drake: Not officially, but they both just left in opposite directions after having a massive fight that I was kind of a third wheel in.

Elena: Been there before, it's always awkward.

Nathan Drake: But for the time, it looks like we're on our own in finding these things.

Sully: Too bad, because we've got nothing on where the last one is.

Nathan Drake: What was the descriptor from the riddle again?

Sully: It says the last one will be found "on savior's land". I was hoping we'd be able to ask Spyro if he knew anything about it.

Nathan Drake: Yeah, good luck with that, he just flew off back home.

Elena: Home?

Nathan Drake: Yeah, he said he was going to talk to his parents for advice on mending fences with Cynder.

(Upon hearing Spyro's visiting his parents, a light bulb goes off in Elena's head.)

Elena: Of course! We've been overthinking this the whole time!

Nathan Drake: (Knowing that look in Elena's eye) You've figured it out, haven't you?

Elena: I couldn't have if you didn't say what you just said.

Nathan Drake: (Kind of confused) That Spyro's looking for advice on mending fences?

Elena: No, that he's talking to his parents about it.

Nathan Drake: So what? Spyro and Cynder said they scoured the entire city looking for these things!

Elena: Spyro's not originally from Warfang. He grew up in the Swamps near Avalar! That's got to be what "savior's land" means! The land the one who saved the world was raised on!

Sully: Wait, if that's true...

Nathan Drake: Then Spyro's probably walking into the fire right now, and he doesn't even know it.

Sully: We need to warn him

Nathan Drake: I've got a feeling Spyro doesn't want to see me right now, considering he's blaming me for his relationship getting worse.

Elena: You two go to the Swamps and try to find the pendant.

Nathan Drake: What are you going to do?

Elena: I'm going to see if I can find Cynder. Maybe I can talk her back into this. And if Spyro will hear you, maybe you can do the same.

Nathan Drake: At this point, that's a tall ask. Warning him is probably all we'll be able to do.

Elena: That'll have to be enough. Let's get to it.

(With that, the trio splits up to achieve their goals, as our story ends for today.)

And that looks like a good place to end for today. So now we've gotten the location of the final pendant, and it's hidden in the Swamps that Spyro calls home. And it couldn't have come at a worse time for the group's relationship, since Spyro just wants to repair the relationship with the one he loves. I can already tell that meeting is going to be awkward once it happens. But what I'm more curious about is whether Elena can convince Cynder to come back to the quest. So will any of this work?
