"Say what?! Davis really went to the Pokemon World alone?!" Tai said. He, Izzy, and Kari all met at Izzy's lab with the portal. They all became well aware of what Davis has done and they just couldn't believe it. "How could he do something so crazy or stupid?!"

"I warned him of the dangers, but it looks like he was just too impatient." Izzy said. "It looks like he and Veemon were able to make it to the other side."

"Izzy, is there a way to get him back?" Tai asked.

"I'm afraid not. I warned Davis that we might be able to get there, but there's no way back." Izzy said. "On top of that, the circuit to the portal are greatly damaged. No way we could go after him. I'm afraid until I get this all worked out...Davis is trapped there." That didn't sound good. It means that he could be gone for a very long time.

"Well, better get to work." Kari said as she didn't seem worried. "Davis said that he believes you'll find a way to get him back. Better prove him right."

"Uh... Right." Izzy said as he stepped out of the lab and got to work.

"Kari, I'm a little surprised you're handling this so well." Tai said.

"It's because I know Davis, I understand him. It doesn't really surprise me that he went and did something like this." Kari said. "I had a feeling after the last time we talked that he would do this. Sure, I wish he would have just told me in person, but I do get his heart was in the right place. He's just following it. I also know that he's right. Davis made me believe that anything really is possible, so I know Davis will find a way to come back, just like how we saw our digimon again."

"But aren't you mad he left you?" Tai said.

"Believe me, I am." Kari said as she turned away and walked out, but still held a smile. "I'll just deal with it when he comes back." Tai was amazed with how Kari was handling this. He was rather worried about Davis, but does hope he does come back one day.

(Davis' voice): My Own Adventure

After Davis managed to get the portal working, he was back in the Pokemon World and Veemon became his pokemon form of Imperialdramon once again. Luck would have it that he ended up near Pallet Town, and there was only one place he wanted to go now.

"I can't believe it! We're really here! We're really back!" Davis said as he and Imperialdramon ran through Pallet Town and looked through all of it. "I know the whole thing was my idea, but it's still unbelievable."

"You can say that again. It almost feels like we never left." Imperialdramon said.

"I wish we could see it all, but there's one place I want to stop at first, and there it is." Davis said as he could see his destination right before him. "Professor Oak's Lab!" The starting point from where his journey began, where he met Ash, and much more. "He's going to be so surprise to see us, and I can't imagine how all my old pokemon will be."

"Davis, do you think Professor Oak will even remember us?" Imperialdramon questioned.

"Of course he will. Even if he doesn't remember our two worlds merging into one, we started out here in this world. He'll know about us." Davis said as he was sure of it. The two of them hurried off and couldn't wait to see them all again. "Come on. I bet he's in the back playing with pokemon." The two of them went around back and could see him instantly. They spotted Professor Oak with him taking care of some small pokemon.

"There you all go. Is that all good?" Professor Oak asked as he fed them.

"Professor Oak..." Oak took a look behind him and could see Davis and Imperialdramon standing there. "Hey. It's been a long time, hasn't it?"

"I don't believe it! It's Davis and Imperialdramon!" Professor Oak said as he just had his mind blown. "My! Look at you!" He said as he walked over and patted Davis' shoulders. "I can't believe you're standing right before me. Is this some sort of trick?"

"No trick, Professor Oak. He and I are really back." Davis said.

"This is is amazing! I wasn't sure when or even if I would ever see you again!" Professor Oak said. "And what about Kari and that lovely Angewomon? Are they here as well?"

"Sorry. It's just us." Imperialdramon said.

"This is just simply incredible. How did you do it?" Professor Oak asked.

"It's a long story." Davis said.

"Wait, Davis. Take a look at who else is here." Imperialdramon said as he pointed just across the field. Davis took a look and already saw two of his pokemon: Houndoom and Absol.

"Houndoom! Absol!" Davis said as he didn't wait a second to go see them. "Hey! Houndoom and Absol! I'm back!"

"Hou?"

"Absol?" They both took a look and couldn't believe their eyes either as they saw Davis running straight to them. When they realized it was him, they were both so excited and ran straight to them. They didn't stop until Houndoom jumped right into Davis' arms and knocked him down with all of them gathering together.

"I'm glad to see you guys, too." Davis said. "Houndoom, you're looking great as strong as ever. Absol, I see you still know how to keep your cool." All of them were glad to be together again, like a family that's been apart for too long. Speaking of which, Houndoom moved away for a second.

"Houn!" Houndoom howled as loud as he could. Once that happened, Davis could hear something like a stampede.

"What's going on?" Davis questioned.

"Look!" Imperialdramon said as he pointed to the stampede and Davis saw all of his pokemon, all of them coming to see him again. Swellow, Zangoose, Gastrodon, Machamp, Tropious, Golduck, Alakazam, Salamence, Sawk, Zebstrika, Golurk, Charmeleon, Seadra, Pidgeot, Hitmonlee, Gogoat, and Tyrantrum.

"Everyone!" Davis called as he got to see all of them again. All of his pokemon gathered around in practically a dogpile right on Imperialdramon and Davis. It was like a big pile of love in a reunion. "I'm glad to see you all! I wasn't sure I was going to be able to see all of you!"

"Of course you would." Professor Oak said as he walked on over. "Ever since you parted ways with Ash, he's done a well job of taking care of them like they were his own. All the pokemon Ash leaves here gets along well with all of them."

"Ash really took care of all of them for me?" Davis said. Hearing that filled him with such joy, and it made him think of one of his greatest friends. "Hey! Where is Ash? Is he here?"

"Yeah. What's he and Pikachu been up to?" Imperialdramon asked. When they asked that, Professor Oak had them moved inside his lab and showed some photos of what Ash has been doing lately.

"As you can see, Ash has made a lot of progress in his travels." Professor Oak said. "He became the first champion of the Alola Region. Then, he took part in the World Coronation Series and became the Monarch, the World Champion."

"Ash is now the world's best champion?" Davis said as he was amazed by that with him looking through the photos of Ash's adventures. "That's incredible."

"I'm sorry, but he's taken off on another journey." Professor Oak claimed. Davis was a little disappointed he missed him, but he was glad to hear that he was doing well.

"So Ash has fulfilled his dream? That's great!" Imperialdramon said.

"Not quite. Ash claims that being a Pokemon Master is much more than just the world's best. Of course, he has such an adventurous spirit." Professor Oak claimed. "He's always excited to go to new places and meet new pokemon and people. I'm sure he would have loved to see you here."

"It's fine." Davis said as he was just satisfied to see how his friend was doing.

"What about you, Davis? What have you been up to?" Professor Oak asked.

"Nothing compared to what Ash has been doing." Davis said as he placed the photos down. "That's another reason I decided to come back. I want to be part of the excitement and adventure again. What you just said does sound like Ash, but it's something I would do as well. That's why I want to get back out there."

"You want to restart your adventures? Restart your journeys? That sounds like a great idea." Professor Oak said. "You think you're ready to jump back into it?"

"I am." Davis said as he walked over to the window and saw all the marvelous pokemon out there. "I know I just got here, but I want to start a brand new journey. Before, I've just been following Ash, but I learned a lot from watching him. This time, I'm setting out on my own journey. I'm going to start out fresh. Catch new pokemon, see new places, and battle like I have before. I know it's been a long time, but I know I can. It will be like one of those things that just comes back to you once you start doing it again."

"I think I get it. You want to try standing on your own two feet." Professor Oak said.

"Yeah. I just don't want to follow Ash. I want to be able to set out on my own." Davis said.

"I think that's a great idea." Professor Oak said. "If that's what you're aiming for, I think I have just the place you can start. You'll be able to get back to basics and Ash hasn't traveled through this region yet. It's called the Centros Region."

"Centros?" Davis questioned.

"It's a marvelous and diverse region. You can find pokemon from just about everywhere there." Professor Oak claimed. "You'll be able to retrace your steps as a trainer, meet new people and pokemon, and Ash hasn't been there yet."

"Sounds great." Davis said as he was excited to start his journey again. "Of course, before I do, I want to spend the day with my old friends again." With that, Davis ran straight out of there and spent the time with his pokemon. A whole new land, adventure, and much more awaits him.

The Next Day

After spending a whole day getting reunited with his pokemon, Davis and Imperialdramon were ready to go to this Centros. The way they were getting there was by boat, and they were both excited for this. Professor Oak took them to the harbor and was getting ready to go.

"Thanks for bringing us here." Davis said.

"My pleasure. I'm always glad to see trainers off." Professor Oak. "By the way, I'm betting you're lacking these." He said as he handed him five brand new pokeballs.

"Pokeballs! Sweet!" Davis said as he took them and was getting ready to catch new pokemon again.

"I'm getting excited on this. Pokemon League, new gyms, traveling again! I swear I can't hold my excitement!" Imperialdramon said as he was getting just as excited.

"This boat will dock in Columba Town. When you get there, go and meet with Professor Maple." Professor Oak suggested. "She can help you with whatever you need for the Pokemon League down there."

"Professor Maple. Got it." Davis said. "Thanks a lot, Professor Oak."

"Best of luck to you, Davis, and it was great to see you again." Professor Oak said. After that, Davis and Imperialdramon climbed on the boat and was setting sail. They parted ways with Professor Oak and they were heading out. What lies ahead was a brand new adventure in a whole new region. Davis can't wait.

"Centros, here I come." Davis said with excitement.

After just arriving back in the Pokemon World, Davis is setting out on his own journey to stand on his own two feet. What kind of adventures await him? You'll just have to find out. Stay tune.
