"Morning." Kara greeted as she entered her sister's house with her daughter.
"Hi Sweetie." Eliza called from the kitchen. Seeing it was just Eliza and Diz in the kitchen Kara asked.
"Are we early or late?"
"Neither." Diz said. "Everyone else is late."
"Including Alex?" The teenage Alex asked.
"You did keep her out late last night." Eliza pointed out.
"It wasn't that late." Kara countered before looking at her daughter and asking. "Was it?"
"No, but you two talked for awhile after I went to bed." She reminded her.
"Plus I think she is still avoiding me." Eliza said before looking at her granddaughter and asking. "Can you go get your cousins?"
"Sure." She said disappearing.
"Is she okay?" Diz asked Kara.
"She's getting there." Kara replied as Diz took his plate to the sink.
"I'll wash that, you get to school." Eliza said taking the plate off him.
"Thanks." He smiled before walking to the door.
"Diz." Kara said as he walked past.
"Yeah." He said turning only to find himself being hugged.
"Thank you for everything you did for Alex."
"Sure." He said standing awkwardly in the hug.
"Morning." The teenage Kara said walking into the kitchen. Seeing the panicked looked on Diz's face as he was being hugged by her aunt she asked. "Everything okay?"
"Yeah, but I'm going to be late." Diz said extracting himself from the hug.
"Still not a hugger then?" The older Kara asked as Diz bolted from the kitchen.
As MJ hopped into the kitchen as he tried to put a shoe on he asked. "What's wrong with Diz? He kinda flew out of the house."
"Aunt Kara hugged him." His sister said.
"Have you tagged in for mom over who gets to torment him?" MJ asked his aunt as he grabbed some toast.
"What's wrong with hugs?" The older Kara asked.
"Everything." MJ said leaving the kitchen in search of his bag.
"You sure you are okay?" Kara asked her daughter.
"I'm fine."
"Call if you need anything." Kara said hugging her before she followed her cousins out of the house.
"She'll be okay." Eliza said watching her daughter frown.
"I hope so." Kara said as her sister came into the kitchen.
"Hi." Alex said. "And bye." She added grabbing her keys.
"What about breakfast?" Eliza asked.
"I'm late."
"How long are you going to keep this up?" Kara asked.
"Keep what up?" Alex asked.
"You avoiding Eliza and you," she said turning to her mother, "blaming Alex."
"I don't blame Alex. I just don't see why she kept it a secret." Eliza said.
"While Alex does have a tendency for keeping too many secrets, she was thinking about Alex in this instance." Kara argued. "Plus she was trying to protect you."
"By letting me think you were dead?" Eliza asked.
"Technically I was dead." Kara pointed out. "After everything that we have all been through, we need to come together, not fight."
"We're not fighting." Eliza said. "I'm just upset."
"I know." Alex said deciding to fight her own battles. "And I'm sorry. I just didn't want you to go through that pain for a third time."
"I know. But who was looking after you?" Eliza asked.
"That is why I called Lena." Alex said. "I didn't want to hide it from you. But I knew Alex, Kara and MJ needed you more than I did."
"What would have happened if you were wrong?" Eliza asked.
"I would have told you. I promise."
"I just wish you wouldn't try to take on the world yourself." Eliza said. "That goes for both of you."
"We're not." Both sisters said.
"Good." Eliza said, although she didn't look convinced.
"This is where you two hug and bury the hatchet." Kara said.
"There is nothing to bury." Eliza said.
"Not even I believe that." Kara argued.
"I really am sorry I didn't tell you." Alex said.
"I know." Eliza said hugging her.
"Was that so hard?" Kara asked smiling.
"Don't be brat." Alex said pulling out of the hug and looking at her sister.
"Now things are back to normal I need to talk to you about something." Kara said.
"Everything okay?" Alex asked.
"Yes, no, maybe. This morning I couldn't find my key."
"What key?" Alex asked.
"For my ship."
"Oh, J'onn has it. I was worried Alex might run off so J'onn took it. Want me to get him to bring it over?"
"It's fine. I was worried I had lost it. Or any of the kids had taken it."
"You hadn't and they hadn't." Alex said. "It's safe."
"Good. Anyway I better go, I have to go out of State." Kara said.
"Why?"
"Veronica Cale."
"Really?" Alex asked. "Why?"
"Story for CatCo." Kara said.
"Well I am seeing her about her company benefiting from the invasion." Alex said. "Want to come with me?"
"As long as you don't mind flying." Kara said.
"Are you actually back as Supergirl?" Eliza asked, worrying Kara was rushing a return as Supergirl.
"I am." Kara said. "I talked it through with Cat and Alex yesterday."
"Other Alex." The older Alex chipped in before she was given a lecture about it.
"Just promise me you won't push yourself too hard." Eliza said.
"I won't." Kara smiled.
"Good." Eliza said before looking at her eldest and saying. "Look after her."
"I will." Alex said as Kara checked her phone.
"Expecting a call?"
"No, just making sure I have enough charge in case Alex calls."

"Agent Danvers and the walking dead." Cale greeted as Alex and Supergirl were shown into her office. "Maybe it is you who are the Cat and not your cheerleader. I mean how many times have you died now?" She added looking at Supergirl.
"As you can see I'm not dead." Supergirl said.
"Something CatCo hasn't publicised. Trouble in paradise?"
"As touching as your concern for Supergirl is, that's not why we are here." Alex said.
"You wish to place an order?" Cale guessed.
"No." Alex said. "I want to discuss your involvement in the release of beta versions of the drugs that killed several people in National City."
"I do hope you have a good lawyer." Cale said as the office door opened again. "Agent Bell, isn't it?" Cale asked. "You are just in time to get sued."
"You wouldn't have case." Bell said before seeing Supergirl. "Aren't you dead?" She asked confused.
"No." Supergirl said simply.
"Well, good. Welcome back." Bell said handing a letter to Cale. "This is a warrant to access your records."
"Let me call my lawyer. And the press. I am sure they'd be interested in how you are trying to shut me down."
"We are not trying to shut down anything other than an illegal drugs ring." Alex said as Supergirl thought she heard something. Not hearing it again Kara went back to listening to the conversation.
"So you keep saying. But the drugs I provided were approved by the President." Cale pointed out. "Drugs that enabled a group of brave individuals to protect National City when your organisation," she said looking at Alex before looking at Supergirl and adding, "and you, failed."
"It isn't those ones we are concerned by." Alex said.
"So what are you concerned by?"
"The early version of those drugs that were illegally sold."
"How do you know they were early versions? I mean you couldn't unless you had compared samples. And there would be no way for you to legally obtain the batch that was used a few days ago."
"So you are denying testing early versions of the drug?" Alex asked.
"Of course not. All drugs need to be tested. But I didn't sell it like a common drug. The mere suggestion is ludicrous. I think you are trying to save face after your monumental failure." She said looking at Alex. She then turned her focus to Supergirl and said. "I think, you are just jealous."
"Jealous? Of what?" Supergirl questioned.
"That you will lose your godlike status."
"I have never claimed to be a god. Besides Metas already exist." Supergirl said as she heard a faint sound with her super hearing.
"Metas who based on luck can abuse their powers. All I am doing is levelling the playing field. If it weren't for my company we would be enslaved by reptiles by now."
"You and I remember that fight very differently." Alex said as Supergirl tried to focus on the noise again.
"What matters is how the press and public remember it." Veronica smiled as Supergirl suddenly thought the noise was a whimper from within the wall. Concentrating on the wall she used her x-ray vision to see through it, only to be blocked by a smaller lead wall from within. However, now convinced someone was trapped in there she moved to the wall and punched it before ripping it down.
"What are you doing?" Alex asked as she watched Supergirl punch her way through a wall.
"This law suit is getting bigger." Cale said as Supergirl ripped her way through to a small passage. At the end of which was a lead lined room.
Confused Alex and Agent Bell stepped into the tunnel and watched as Supergirl broke into the small room.
"Some one is trapped in here." Supergirl said walking into the hidden room where a woman was tied up and gagged.
Walking over to the woman Supergirl started to untie her, as she did so Alex shone a light on her and Bell said.
"Aren't you Veronica Cale?"
"Yes. Get me out of here." The woman croaked.
"Wait, if that is Cale who was …" Alex started to ask before running back into the office and finding it unoccupied.
