Our heroes have finally arrived in Nevad city so that Davis could have his third gym battle. When they got there, they met Feefee. Feefee was trying to become the new gym leader, but was easily distracted and disorganized. Putting her to the test, her grandfather unleashed one of his own pokemon and Feefee proved that she's more than capable of handling the situation. Now, Davis is going to get his third gym battle against the newly made gym leader.

(Davis's voice) Electric Energetic
The time has finally come for Davis to earn his third gym battle. He and his friends already arrived at the gym and Davis was ready to go with him and Feefee already facing each other.
"Go get her, Davis!" Tetsu cheered.
"Will do. Make sure you're watching, Shellder. You'll be out here yourself one day." Davis claimed.
"Shellder!" Davis thought it would be good for Shellder to watch a gym battle since it would be at a disadvantage here.
'Since this is Feefee's first official gym battle, this should be easy.' Davis thought as he was cocky in winning this one.
"The gym battle between Davis the challenger and Feefee the new gym leader will now begin!" Feefee's grandfather announced as he was acting as the referee.
"Grandpa! Do you really have to say I'm new?!" Feefee called.
"No "Grandpa" here. You have to act like a gym leader." He claimed with Feefee backing down. "This will be a three-on-three battle! During the battle, only the challenger will be allowed to substitute pokemon!"
"What?!" Feefee said as she thought that wasn't fair.
"Feefee, you do know the rules, don't you?" He questioned.
"Yeah. Of course I do." Feefee claimed.
"When both of you are ready, you may begin!" He claimed.
"Well, I suppose it can't be helped. Elekid, let's go!" Feefee called as she called on her first pokemon.
"Bebe!"
"Elekid is up first... In that case..." Davis said as he went with his first choice. "Venonat, I choose you!"
"Venonat!"
"Venonat, let's win this!" Davis said. "Let's start out by using Psybeam!" Venonat jumped in the air and tried blasting Elekid with a beam. Elekid acted quickly as it crossed its arms and tried to block the attack. "Now use Tackle!" Venonat charged right at Elekid and smashed itself against Elekid.
"Now I've got you!" Feefee said as Davis didn't like the sound of that. "Use Fire Punch!" Elekid formed fire around its fist and smashed it right against Venonat with Venonat taking a lot of damage. Davis and the others surely didn't expect that.
"Elekid knows Fire Punch?!" Tetsu said with shock.
"That must have been the move Feefee was working on when we first met her!" Cletus said. Venonat struggled to get back up after taking a hit like that.
"Poor Venonat isn't doing so well. I guess it's time we ended this battle already." Feefee said. "Elekid, attack now with Brick Break!" Elekid jumped into the air and was getting ready to attack Venonat and finish the battle now.
"Venonat, Supersonic!" Davis called. Venonat unleashed a sonic wave and Elekid got caught in it and became confused. The attack caused Elekid's attack to miss and act dizzy.
"No! Elekid, you need to snap out of it!" Feefee called, but it wasn't looking good for her. She was starting to get frantic and that wasn't good for her.
"Psybeam!" Davis ordered. Venonat blasted Elekid and dealt a lot of damage with that attack. Elekid slid against the ground and was knocked out of the battle.
"Elekid is unable to battle, Venonat is the winner!" Feefee's grandfather declared.
"No!" Feefee cried.
"That's one down!" Imperialdramon said as he and Davis were feeling good, but Davis knew not to let it get to his head.
'It's good we won, but that was too close.' Davis thought. 'If Supersonic hadn't worked, Venonat would have lost the battle. I might have underestimated her.' Feefee brought Elekid back to its pokeball with her grandfather judging her abilities.
'Feefee, you got too cocky at the beginning and got to frantic when things went bad. Remember what I have taught you.' Her grandfather thought. Feefee was worked up and was looking to win this battle.
'That little... No, stay calm.' Feefee thought as she tried not to get too ahead of herself. 'Grandpa told me that a gym leader must remain calm, and that it's more important that I bring out the potential of the challengers and the pokemon.' Feefee tried to keep herself calm as she chose her next pokemon. "Luxio, you're up now!"
"Luxio!"
"Luxio is next, is it? Venonat, do you think you can keep going?" Davis asked. It looked like Venonat was still willing to battle. "Venonat might not last much longer. I better do something fast. Venonat, Poison Powder!" Venonat shook its body around to try and unleashed a poisonous powder.
"Luxio, dodge it and use Iron Tail!" Feefee ordered. Luxio jumped right over the powder and was able to avoid it. After that, Luxio's tail hardened and swung its tail around with it smashing against Venonat. After that hit, Venonat was knocked out of the battle.
"Venonat is unable to battle, Luxio is the winner!" Feefee's grandfather declared.
"Yeah! Nice shot, Luxio!" Feefee cheered. Davis brought Venonat back in its pokeball. He might have lost, but he was far from done.
"Feefee's a better battler than I thought." Tetsu said.
"She goes at battle with such passion, and her pokemon unleash that passion." Cletus stated. "On top of that, her pokemon know some powerful and effective attacks. This gym battle might be harder than Davis thought."
"Not bad, Feefee. Even so, I'm not loosing this battle. Poochyena, I choose you!" Davis called as he chose his next pokemon.
"Arff!"
"Cute little pokemon, but cute isn't going to win battles." Feefee taunted.
"This might! Poochyena, Bite!" Davis ordered with Poochyena charging right at Luxio.
"Luxio, Spark!" Feefee ordered. Luxio coated itself in electricity and charged right at Poochyena, cancelling Poochyena's attack as Luxio smashed against Poochyena. "Now use Leer!" Luxio gave Poochyena a good glare. Not only did it make Poochyena uneasy, but it also lowered Poochyena's defenses.
"If our defense goes down, we'll raise our attack power to end this sooner. Now use Howl!" Davis said. Poochyena howled and raised its attack power. "Now use Fire Fang!" Poochyena coated its teeth in flames and jumped straight at Luxio, but Luxio ended up using its tail to try and block the attack. Even though it hurt, Luxio endured.
"Good work, Luxio! Now use Iron Tail!" Feefee said. Luxio took its tail while Poochyena was still holding on and smashed Poochyena against the ground. "Now use Spark!" Luxio used the attack again with Poochyena getting electrocuted and was taken out of the battle.
"Poochyena is unable to battle, Luxio wins!" Feefee's grandfather declared.
"Effective... She lures her opponents in and then strikes with some powerful attacks." Cletus said.
"Davis has only one pokemon left." Tetsu said as this wasn't looking good. Even Shellder was getting concerned for its trainer. Davis brought Poochyena back to its pokeball and could see he was faced with a real challenge.
"You okay?" Imperialdramon questioned.
"Feefee's stronger than I thought. Even so, we're not going to lose. Right?" Davis said as he raised his fist.
"Right." Imperialdramon claimed as he bumped it and went on the field.
"We'll show Feefee that we're just as tough as she is! Now use Focus Punch!" Davis said as he was letting loose now. Imperialdramon followed his lead as he gathered energy into his fist and charged.
"You're brave, but let's see how brave you are after this. Luxio, use Leer!" Feefee ordered. Luxio's eyes glowed and glared right at Imperialdramon, but he didn't slow down. That was a surprise to the two of them. Even more so when Imperialdramon smashed his fist against Luxio and did a lot of damage.
"You'll have to do better than that if you want to intimidate me!" Imperialdramon claimed.
"Dragon Pulse!" Davis ordered. Imperialdramon unleashed the attack and blasted Luxio with it and was able to win this battle.
"Luxio is unable to battle, Imperialdramon wins!" Feefee's grandfather claimed.
"Thanks, Luxio. Take a good rest." Feefee said as she brought Luxio back in its pokeball. "Well, Davis, you're one tough trainer. That's just how I like it. That's also why I'm not backing down myself! Let's go, Manetric!"
"Manetric!"
"Here it comes. Manetric just recently evolved, so there's no telling how strong it is." Davis said as he knew to be careful with this one. "Also, there's that one combo they used. Rain Dance is the most dangerous move because it actually boosts all of Manetric's electric attacks."
"What's wrong? Scared to make the first move, Davis?" Feefee taunted.
"No way! Imperialdramon, Dragon Pulse!" Davis shouted.
"Counter that Dragon Pulse with Thunderbolt!" Feefee ordered. Both pokemon used their attacks. The two attacks collided and ended up cancelling each other out. "Now use Quick Attack!" Manectric charged at Imperialdramon with great speed, jumping right at him and smashing against him.
"Is that all you got?" Imperialdramon said as he was able to endure it.
"Nope! Discharge!" Feefee ordered. Manectric unleashed the electrical blast and zapped Imperialdramon.
"Use Brick Break and knock Manectric away!" Davis ordered. Imperialdramon used the attack and knocked Manectric away, but Manectric was able to get back up.
"Not bad, but it won't help you." Feefee said with Davis getting the feeling that something was happening. "Now use Rain Dance!" Manectric unleashed some energy into the air and was forming clouds with the rain coming down.
"Oh boy. Here it comes! Imperialdramon, get moving!" Davis called. Imperialdramon did what he was told and flew up in the air, trying to keep himself moving for what's about to come.
"There's no escaping from this combo! Discharge!" Feefee called. Manectric unleashed electricity and tried to blast Imperialdramon with it. Imperialdramon tried his best to avoid it, but it was no good. He ended up getting zapped and a lot of damage was being dealt. He got zapped so much that he fell out of the sky.
"That's one powerful combo. The water from the rain conducts the electricity and making it much more effective." Cletus said.
"Davis better figure out how to break that rain or Imperialdramon is going to get zapped." Tetsu claimed.
"Can you keep going?!" Davis called. Imperialdramon got zapped good, but he was able to keep going.
"Still hanging in there? Not for long. Now use Thunderbolt!" Feefee ordered. Manectric unleashed the attack, and it was much stronger than the Discharge. The rain added to the power and made it much worse. Imperialdramon tried his best to endure the attack, but it wasn't looking good.
"Imperialdramon, hang in there!" Davis encouraged. However, Imperialdramon dropped down to one knee and was taking heavy breaths.
"I say this is just about over." Feefee said as she thought she had this one.
"You think so? Guess again." Imperialdramon said as he got back up.
"What? How can you still be standing?" Feefee questioned.
"I've felt bigger jolts than from a certain yellow friend." Imperialdramon questioned. When he said that, Davis thought of the trainer to that pokemon.
"Yeah... Compared to them, your electric attacks got nothing. In fact, I think I know how to break that little combo of yours." Davis said as he looked straight up. "Imperialdramon, Dragon Pulse straight at Manectric!" Imperialdramon unleashed the attack and blasted Manectric, but Manectric was still able to battle. "Now use Dragon Rush straight up!"
"What are they planning?" Feefee questioned. Imperialdramon unleashed dragon energy and flew straight up to the clouds as fast as he could. As he passed through the clouds, they completely dispersed with Feefee and the others completely surprised by this.
"Now charge!" Davis shouted. With the rain broken apart, Imperialdramon dove straight down and crashed right into Manectric. When the dust cleared away, Imperialdramon was the one standing and Manectric was taken out.
"Manectric is unable to battle! Imperialdramon wins and that means the victory goes to the challenger!" Feefee's grandfather declared.
"Yeah! We got it!" Davis cheered as he and his friends were real proud of themselves for that. As for Feefee, she brought Manectric back to its pokeball, but she dropped to her knees.
"I can't believe I lost..." Feefee complained.
"Feefee..." Her grandfather said as he went over. "The reason you lost was because you were too excited and you used your trump card too soon. You should know that a battle is never over until it actually is, so you don't get cocky." Sounds so simple and obvious, but Feefee couldn't believe she still lost. "Still, I think you did rather well for your first gym battle. Of course, you still have one duty to fulfill."
"Right." Feefee said as she tried her best to keep acting like a gym leader. Davis had all of his pokemon out to commend their great work. "Davis..." She said and got his attention. "Here." She handed a badge over to him. "This is proof that you won. The Lightning Badge is yours."
"Thanks, Feefee." Davis said as he gladly took the badge. "Yeah! The Lightning badge is mine!" He claimed with all of his pokemon cheering with him.
"That's your third badge now." Cletus said.
"Only five more to go." Tetsu claimed.
"Davis, have you figured out where you'll head next?" Feefee's grandfather questioned.
"Uh... Not really." Davis said.
"In that case, seeing as how you enjoy battling like my granddaughter, why not try the Origburg Gym in Origburg City?" Her grandfather suggested. "It's also the closest gym from here."
"Really? Sounds good." Davis said as he now has a new destination.
"Before you hit the road, there's one other thing I want to show you guys while you're in Nevad City." Feefee said. They all wondered what that could be.

Later
Later that day as the sun was going down, Feefee took all of them up to a building rooftop because there was something she wanted to show all of them.
"What are we doing up here?" Davis questioned.
"Just wait. Any second now." Feefee said. All of them wondered what she was talking about until they all saw it. All the lights in the city came on. Neon lights, flashing lights, and much more. It was actually a beautiful sight to behold.
"Wow! Look at it out there!" Tetsu said.
"It's like an amusement park!" Imperialdramon said.
"Yeah. I love seeing this after a battle because it takes my troubles away, even for a moment." Feefee said.
"Incredible." Davis said as he took in the sight and he feels even great than he did before.
As our heroes take in the sight, Davis also takes his third badge with him. Feeling great after an eccentric battle, he now has his next destination in mind. For now, he's just enjoying the lights for this path is filled with light that's leading him towards his goal. Until then, the journey continues.
