The time has finally come for Davis to have his long awaited gym battle with Tetsu. Both of them are rather excited about this.

Davis and Cletsu made their way inside the gym where Tetsu was waiting for them.

"Welcome back to my gym. Davis, are you all set to go?" Tetsu asked.

"I've been ready for this for a long time. The time has finally come." Davis said.

"Great. Just one last thing." Tetsu said as he turned around. "Nami! Navy! Come on! It's time for my gym battle! I need Feraligatr now!"

"Aw, but we just got it looking nice!" Nami called as the two girls stepped out with Feraligatr wearing a dress and makeup. The boys were doing their best to hold back the laughter.

"You look pretty, Feraligatr." Imperialdramon said and the three of them just couldn't stop laughing. Feraligatr couldn't take it anymore and just ripped the whole thing apart in rage and anger.

"They want Feraligatr to be part of one of their shows." Tetsu said as he felt embarrassed for Feraligatr. "Well, there's only one show that Feraligatr is going to be apart of. Let's do this, Davis." Their gym battle is finally here and nothing is going to get in the way of that now.

(Davis' voice) Waves of Friendship

All of them moved to the battlefield. Even Tetsu's sisters were going to watch. With this being such a big battle, they even allowed all of their pokemon to watch, but it let Tetsu know who he was using: Cloyster, Galvantula, and Imperialdramon.

"I'm flattered that I get to be the referee for this." Cletus said. "Let's get this started. The gym battle between Tetsu and Davis is now going to be begin. Each side will be allowed to use three pokemon. The battle will be over when all three of one side is no longer able to battle. Only the challenger is allowed to substitute pokemon."

"No turning back now. Tentacool, let's go!" Tetsu called.

"Tentacool!"

"Cloyster, I choose you!" Davis called.

"Cloyster!"

"Ooh, I love that black pearl face." Navy said.

"Navy, we should cheer for Tetsu, but that Cloyster would be perfect for our underwater performance." Nami said.

"Time to see what you can really do." Tetsu said as they were both excited for this battle. "Tentacool, start us out with Poison Sting!" Tentacool jumped right out of the water and shot needles right at Cloyster.

"Iron Defense!" Davis said. Cloyster closed its shell and blocked the attack rather easily. "Now use Ice Beam!" Cloyster fought back as it launched the beam, but Tentacool dived under the water and avoided the attack.

"You might have a fellow water-type, but Tentacool is better suited for the water." Tetsu said. "Tentacool, Poison Sting again!" Tentacool emerged right behind Cloyster and fired the needles again. After that, it kept changing locations and kept using the attack.

"Use Iron Defense to protect yourself!" Davis called. Cloyster closed its shell and tried blocking out the attack.

"Let's see if that will protect you from Tentacool's newest attack. Poison Jab!" Tentacool jumped right on Cloyster and had poison gather in its little arms and tried smashing them against Cloyster.

"Tetsu really has been working hard to learn a new attack." Davis said. "Cloyster won't last much longer, but let's see if it really is good in water. Cloyster, dive straight in the water!" Cloyster followed through. Cloyster dove in and the force knocked Tentacool right off. "Now use Ice Shard!" Cloyster blasted Tentacool with a shard of ice. "Ice Shard once more!" Cloyster used the attack again and blasted Tentacool with Tentacool being blown right out of the water. A double dose of Ice Shard, Tentacool was knocked right out.

"Tentacool is unable to battle! Cloyster is the winner!" Cletus claimed.

"Seriously?! Cloyster really is a lot stronger than from when it was a Shellder." Tetsu said as he couldn't believe Tentacool got taken out like that.

"You haven't seen anything yet." Davis said as Cloyster jumped on one of the platforms.

"Maybe, but neither of have you." Tetsu said as he brought Tentacool back. "Kingler, you're up next!"

"Koki koki!"

"Kingler this time... Let's see what it's learned." Davis said as he readied himself. "Cloyster, Ice Beam!"

"Counter with Bubble Beam!" Tetsu said. Both pokemon used their attacks and they ended up clashing against each other, cancelling each other out. "Now use Crab Hammer!" Kingler jumped across the field and tried attacking Kingler.

"Water Gun!" Davis said. Cloyster tried stopping the attack by blasting Kingler with water, but it didn't even slow Kingler down and it smashed its claw right against Cloyster.

"Did you honestly think that would work?" Tetsu taunted. "Well, time to show a new move Kingler knows. Metal Claw!"

"Metal Claw?! Iron Defense!" Davis said as he acted quickly. Cloyster tried raising defense power, but Kingler had its claw coated in metal and smashed it right on Cloyster. Cloyster couldn't endure the impact of that attack and was knocked right out from it.

"Cloyster is unable to battle! Kingler is the winner!" Cletus claimed.

"Cloyster, return." Davis said as he brought Cloyster back to its pokeball. "Tetsu really has gotten stronger. Tentacool and Kingler both learned new attacks."

"But we've gotten stronger ourselves." Imperialdramon said with Davis agreeing to that.

"Galvantula, you're up next!" Davis called.

"Galvantula!"

"I knew you were going to use Galvantula." Tetsu said. "Well, I'm ready for any of your electric attacks. Come on and I'll show you what I'm talking about."

"I'll take that challenge! Electro Ball!" Davis said. Galvantula formed a ball of electricity and shot it straight at Kingler. Kingler wasn't even trying to move. Tetsu didn't flinch or anything about this attack. How does he plan to stop it?

"Now! Metal Claw!" Tetsu said. Kingler took its claw and smashed it right against the Electro Ball with it being deflected. Everyone was shocked at what they just witnessed. "Like that?"

"No way! He used Metal Claw to block Electro Ball?!" Davis said in astonishment.

"How did he do that?!" Imperialdramon said.

"Wow. I have to admit that it was rather impressive." Nami said as even Tetsu's sisters were amazed with what he just did. "It looks like all that sweaty battle training he was doing is actually paying off."

"Yeah. Who would have thought?" Navy said.

"Now use Crab Hammer!" Tetsu said. Kingler jumped across the pool and attacked Galvantula with it smashing its claw right against it.

"Poison Fang!" Davis ordered. Galvantula tried taking a bite out of Kingler, but Kingler jumped out of the way and dived in the water. "Not the water. Where is it?" He questioned as he looked around to try and figure out where Kingler was going to attack from.

"We've got them now, Kingler! Vice Grip!" Tetsu ordered. Kingler jumped out from behind Galvantula and was going to attack.

"Galvantula, jump straight ahead!" Davis called as he thought quickly. Galvantula jumped over to another platform with Kingler falling back in the water. "There's got to be a way to lure Kingler out, but electric attacks will just be blocked. What do I do?" He tried thinking of how he was going to get out of this. As he tried finding where Kingler was swimming to, it gave him an idea.

"Crab Hammer!" Tetsu ordered with Kingler jumping out of the water.

"Time to do some fishing. Spider Web!" Davis ordered. Galvantula shot some webbing at Kingler and it hit with Kingler falling back into the pool with him getting tangled. Kingler tried getting out of it, but like a fish in a net, it was tough to get out.

"Use your claws to get out of there, and hurry!" Tetsu called.

"Electro Web!" Davis ordered. Galvantula shot the electric web and it got around Kingler. Kingler got electrocuted since it couldn't protect itself. The electricity gave Kingler a good zap that it floated up to the top and was knocked out.

"Kingler is unable to battle! Galvantula is the winner!" Cletus called.

"Oh yeah! One more to go and that badge is ours!" Davis said.

"It's a little early to get cocky." Tetsu said as he brought Kingler back. "There's still my last pokemon, and you know who that is." Davis and Imperialdramon knew full well who it is. "Feraligatr, let's go!"

"Feraligatr!"

"Here we go. I'm winning this one. Galvantula, Electro Ball!" Davis ordered.

"Dodge it!" Tetsu called. Galvantula used the attack, but Feraligatr dived into the water and avoided the attack. Now they don't know where Feraligatr is. "Now use Surf!" Without warning, The water underneath Galvantula's platform shot into the air by a geyser of water. That didn't look good with Galvantula being knocked off. "Now use Aqua Tail!" Feraligatr emerged out of the water and smashed a tail of water right against Galvantula. Galvantula was knocked right out the pool and out of the battle.

"Galvantula is unable to battle! Feraligatr is the winner!" Cletus called.

"Yeah! Your training is really paying off Feraligatr!" Tetsu cheered as he looked like he was having the time of his life.

"Look at Tetsu down there. I don't think I've ever seen him this happy." Navy said.

"You're right." Nami said. "He's really enjoying himself down there. It seems like our little brother really is becoming a great gym leader and is doing what he loves." Both of his sisters were really loved seeing their brother like this, but the battle isn't over yet. Davis brought Galvantula back to his pokeball with all his pokemon wondering what he's going to do now.

"Well, it's all up to you." Davis told Imperialdramon. "No one else can match Feraligatr's power."

"I'm on it." Imperialdramon claimed as he jumped out on the field and was ready for a real battle.

"This is it. Time to see if you can really earn that badge, Davis, or if you're really just lucky." Tetsu said.

"You think I win by luck? I'll show you how wrong you are." Davis said. "Imperialdramon, show him our real power with Focus Punch!"

"Feraligatr, Superpower!" Tetsu called. Both pokemon jumped right at each other and both of them landed their attacks against each other. The force of both attacks were so strong that both of those large pokemon were knocked back. That was certainly a surprise. "Now use Aqua Tail!"

"Dragon Pulse!" Davis said. Both pokemon used their attacks. Imperialdramon launched the attack, but Feraligatr used Aqua Tail to block it.

"Aqua Tail once more!" Tetsu ordered. Feraligatr attacked again. Imperialdramon crossed his arm to try and block the attack, but the attack was a diversion for Feraligatr to dive back into the water.

"Where's Feraligatr?" Imperialdramon questioned as he searched around for it.

"Superpower!" Tetsu called. Feraligatr emerged right out of the water and smashed its fist right into Feraligatr's gut. It looks like it did some serious damage to him.

"Hang in there! Focus Punch!" Davis called.

"I don't think so! Let's use Crunch!" Tetsu called. Imperialdramon tried pulling himself together and tried attacking. However, Feraligatr was able to catch the attack with its teeth and was crunching down. It wasn't looking good for Imperialdramon as he was doing his best to resist the pain. "Looks like I've gotcha."

"Don't...underestimate me." Imperialdramon claimed as he was fighting through all of it.

"Brick Break!" Davis called. Imperialdramon took his spare arm and smashed it right on Feraligatr's head. Not only did it deal damage, but Imperialdramon was able to free his arm and jumped away from Feraligator. "Now let's use Dragon Rush!"

"Counter it with Superpower!" Tetsu called. Both pokemon followed through with their attacks. As Imperialdramon charged straight at Feraligatr, Feraligatr readied itself for the attack. Imperialdramon crashed in and they all lost sight of the two for a moment. When things cleared away, it showed that both were still standing and trying to push the other back. It was a true battle of power, evenly matched, and neither side was backing down. "Oh man. This is the kind of battle I was hoping for."

"Same. This is a lot of fun." Davis said as both of them were enjoying themselves.

"But it has to come to an end." Tetsu said as he was ready to settle this. "Feraligatr, jump away and use Surf, and make it a big one." Feraligatr broke away and got the attack ready. Once Feraligatr touched the water, a massive wave rose up and it didn't look like there was a way to dodge.

"Ha! I knew you would use that attack." Davis said as he had a trick up his sleeve. "Dragon Pulse! Right where Feraligatr's standing!" Imperialdramon went through with the attack and blasted right where Davis was standing. The attack caused the wave to disperse and knock Feraligatr in the air. "Finish this with Dragon Rush!" Imperialdramon gathered dragon power around himself and charged straight at Feraligatr. He went full force with him smashing into Feraligatr and didn't stop until they hit the wall.

"Feraligatr!" Tetsu called. All of them waited for the dust to clear and showed that Imperialdramon was still standing, but Feraligatr was beaten.

"Feraligatr is unable to battle! Imperialdramon is the winner! Victory goes to Davis!" Cletus declared.

"Yes! We won! We really did it!" Davis cheered as he and all his pokemon were really happy about this. Even though Tetsu didn't win, he was happy because he got the battle he was looking for and felt good as a successful gym leader.

Later

"Thanks, Davis. It was a great gym battle." Tetsu said as they all stood out the gym. A big win after a battle like this deserves everyone to watch the reward. "It was what I was hoping for and I felt like a real gym leader. You really have earned this. The Bubble Badge is now yours." Tetsu said as he handed the badge that Davis was waiting for.

"Thanks a lot, Tetsu." Davis said as he took the badge. "Yeah! Number five! The Bubble Badge is finally mine!" He cheered with all of his pokemon.

"And now that it's done, time to hit the road again." Tetsu said.

"You're leaving again?" Nami asked.

"Yeah." Tetsu said. "I want to see this journey through to the end. Besides, someone has to keep an eye on Davis."

"Hey! Who won the battle just now?" Davis said.

"Regardless, it will be great to have you along again, Tetsu." Cletus said.

"Sorry, Nami and Navy, but I really have to go." Tetsu said.

"We understand." Nami said as she placed her hands on his shoulders. "This journey's been good for you. You've really grown and made great friends. You should see it through to the end."

"We're really proud of you, Tetsu. You're becoming a great trainer." Navy said. Tetsu was surprised they admit that, but he really felt loved by his sisters. He felt like everything's been a real success.

Not only is Davis rejoining the group for the journey, but Davis managed to get his fifth gym badge. He only has three more to go for him to enter the Centros League. Where will they head out to next? Only one way for you to see...as the journey continues.
