A/n: Finally we get to the loverboy's pov guys, so get ready for lots of heartbreak. And some foreshadowing if you can spot it… ;)

Lance

He could still feel her in his arms, feel her lips on his, salty tears tainting their kiss. Her last words to him repeated over and over in his head, her voice stuck with him.

He felt numb, stuck in that moment. He barely registered what happened after they'd reappeared in their own reality thanks to her, but with no her to thank.

The blue lion was out of sight, where it'd gone unknown to him because he couldn't stop thinking about the Lion itself which led to thinking about her because the blue lion had been one thing that connected them.

He kept thinking he saw her, heard her voice but each time he searched for her there was only air. It made the crack in his heart widen each time, hoping she was there, his heart getting quicker because he just saw her, there turning the corner, her laugh taunting him, telling him to follow her only for him to turn that corner and have his heart crushed again, when she wasn't there, the hope making it worse for the fall, over and over and over.

Blinking, he came back to his senses. How'd they get on the ship? When had they gotten on the ship? Had he been chasing the ghost of Allura in real life or just in his mind?

He searched his memories for answers, only faintly remembering Keith's voice ordering them to land and come out of their lions, Hunk helping him out of Red while he stood on unsteady feet that were working on autopilot as far as he knew. All of them - meaning all the others and faintly him - had realised that someone had to tell Coran so while they all sat down in a small room somewhere they'd talked a bit about it. He hadn't listened to much of what was said, hearing everything but only a few words registering in his brain too late.

Somehow they'd decided Shiro was best, even him absently agreeing when they'd gently asked him what he thought. He would have volunteered himself, and it made sense since him and Coran had been closest to her but he couldn't bring himself to say it.

Saying it meant accepting it, accepting that it was real and nothing felt real right now. He just couldn't do that and he vaguely thinks the others know. He's so grateful for them, even if his mind is too blank to say it or acknowledge it.

Hands guided Lance out, familiar hands but he still couldn't place exactly whose they were. He only knew they weren't hers, her small slim hands which fit in his so well.

He wouldn't cry. He couldn't, even if he really wanted to because if he started, he's not sure he'll ever stop. So he tried to stop thinking about her altogether, but doing so meant thinking about her and oh my god was it hard. So much harder than it should be to just stop thinking about someone. But then again, he's never had much luck doing that with girls in the past so he doesn't really expect to even if she was different, with her smooth dark skin that was so beautiful and… he was thinking about her again.

Fight the tears. Okay, doing a decent job. Remember why there are tears in the first place. Think about her. Repeat.

The cycle paused when he's suddenly aware of his sister who seemingly just appeared from thin air. Veronica gives him a sad smile, tracing over something in his face and hugging him. Usually he would have pushed her away, made a fuss even if he'd been away so long he almost longed for her hugs but he was too numb to do anything but hug back so that's what he does.

She stays with him as they keep walking, until she's disappeared and Coran's in front of them now. A small part of his mind is sending warnings, saying he should be concerned with the lapses in his perception, his memories, but the rest of his mind is too blank and numb to care. Especially now that Shiro is starting to speak and he's trying very hard to not let the tears come because he's painfully aware of what's happening for once.

He could hear how much emotion was in Shiro's voice, too much to let him speak further than saying the Altean's name so Keith takes over and just says it and in that moment it suddenly became so real.

"Allura's gone, Coran. I'm sorry."

Coran was starting to tear up, and as if seeing that, his own walls come down too. He didn't know when he started crying but his face was wet and someone was hugging him, someone so small it must have been Pidge. He vaguely notices the tears spilling from her eyes too, and through his own tears, he notices it's not just them. The only ones in the group who weren't crying were Shiro and Keith.

Shiro still looked sad enough, not even being able to say it out loud so even if there were no tears on his face it was obvious he was still effected. But Keith? Keith just stood there emotionless, heartless as usual. Lance wanted to be mad, to shout at Keith and ask if he's really so unaffected but he's too stuck in his own grief that he can't. Not now at least.

Keith's words have replaced Allura's, repeating in his head the same way hers had.

"Allura's gone." The words had been said so evenly, his voice not even cracking once.

"I'm sorry." For what? What was he really sorry for? Was he even sorry at all?

He knew somewhere in his head, in his heart that he was being unfair yet he couldn't help it. Keith and Lance had always had a frenemy type of relationship and that was a well known fact. They'd come a long way, but right now, Keith was still an easy target for his emotions. And he had lots of them. He just didn't have the energy to let it all out just yet.

Besides, they're walking away now anyway. Someone's leading him once again, but that someone changes to Veronica at some point and he's helpless to do anything but let himself be passed on like a baton. He just feels empty at this point, different from the numbness though because he just can't feel anything now. He's not Lance anymore, he's just a gaping hole with a Lance costume on as his sister takes them to his bedroom.

Veronica is talking, saying words that he hears but doesn't really listen to. He hopes she doesn't mind - he's not trying to be rude but he just really doesn't have the energy or will to listen.

Once they reach his room, she leaves him to sleep but he can't. He just lays there in his bed, no more tears coming as if they're taking a break or giving him a break before they're sure to resume.

As he lays there, he hears squeaking and the patter of small feet and before long, he's looking at the mice all sitting or standing on his chest. The tears return when he hugs the mice, the small creatures hugging him back, not minding the drops of wet that fall on their heads at all.

Neither mice nor boy knows how long they stay that way, but it doesn't matter. Minutes, hours or days can pass by and the boy wouldn't care for any of them unless it's that minute, that hour, or that day that he gets to see his love again. Nothing matters anymore because she's not here anyway. She who was his love, she who was his life.

She who without her, he has no life, so how can he be expected to live at all now she's gone?

A/n: Yeah, poor Lancey is going through it. :(

He's got a bit of a numbness phase, a poetry phase in the end there a little, which only goes to show he really is lost without Allura. (An opportunity to use creative liberty as an excuse for any ooc things he does hehe).

Anyway, not much to say with this one (shocking ik) so just the usual stay safe and see ya soon.
