Davis and Imperialdramon ran with excitement as the destination they've been waiting for was just ahead.

"There it is!" Davis said as they all arrived and could see it: Yorker City. "We finally made it!"

Davis and his friends have finally arrived at Yorker City, the largest city in all of Centros, and it is also the sight of the upcoming Centros League. Now that Davis has a total of eight badges, he can compete and is planning to win.

"Amazing! I've never seen a city as massive as this one!" Tetsu said.

"Just imagine all the stores and sights that are here." Cletus said.

"I'm only interested in one place at the moment. The Centros League is right ahead of us and I can't wait." Davis said. Davis' journey is starting to come full circle. After being away from the adventure for so long, his ultimate challenge is just before him.

A new adventure, another day

One more challenge that comes our way

Pokemon

(Davis' voice) Reunion and Separation

Yorker City might be one of the largest cities in all of Centros, but Davis had his focus on getting to the stadium. They were all able to figure out where to go and were able to make it straight to the stadium.

"We made it!" Davis said.

"Wow! Look at this place!" Tetsu said as they were all impressed with how the place looks.

"Come on! I'm ready to start battling right now!" Imperialdramon said as he was getting himself fired up.

"Easy. We need to get you registered first." Cletus said. It's understandable that they're excited, but they actually need to get registered if they want to compete. That's why they headed straight to the Pokemon Center. Once they got there, Nurse Joy took Davis' pokedex and scanned all eight of his badges for it.

"There you go. You're all set and all of your badges qualify you for the tournament." Nurse Joy claimed.

"Thank you, Nurse Joy." Davis said. "Nurse Joy, could you also tell me how this tournament works, like how the qualifying matches operate."

"Everything you need to know about the Centros League is right here." Nurse Joy said as she handed him a manual about the tournament. "Good luck out there." Once he took the manual, he handed it over to Cletus to read so he could understand what to expect.

"According to this, the qualifying rounds are set at random." Cletus said.

"Random? What do you mean?" Davis questioned.

"It means that the battle setup is always different. It could be just one-on-one, and could go to three-on-three." Cletus clarified. "It could also be that you have a double battle or really any kind of battle."

"Without knowing what kind of battle you're going into, it could be difficult to strategize and decide which pokemon you can use." Tetsu said.

"No worries. My pokemon and I can handle whatever battle we're in." Davis said.

"Good. You're going to need it when you battle me." All of them looked and saw that Flint and Typhlosion were able to make it.

"Flint! You're here! Does that mean you managed to get all eight of your badges?!" Davis said.

"Sure did." Flint said. "I knew I would find you here eventually. Are you getting fired up for all the excitement and battle?!"

"You better believe it!" Davis said as they were both getting redhot. Even their pokemon were getting fired up with their little rivalry igniting.

"I just hope they're able to keep themselves cool." Tetsu said as he was already getting annoyed with this. Just then, an announcement was going off.

"Attention! Will a Davis Motomiya please report in! There's a call waiting for you!"

"For me?" Davis questioned as he wondered what that could be about.

Davis

"I should have known it was you calling." Davis went to take that call and it ended up being Professor Oak.

"Of course. When I heard that you managed to get all eight badges, I knew it was only a matter of time until you arrived at the Centros League." Professor Oak said. "I alerted all of your other pokemon and they're all excited and ready to get out there. Can't say I blame them since it's been so long since you all battled together." He claimed. That was when some of Davis' pokemon shoved him away and tried telling Davis that they want to battle.

"Calm down, everyone. I miss you guys too. You guys are certainly coming out to help me." Davis claimed.

"Wow! I didn't know you had so many pokemon, Davis!" Tetsu said.

"You've got quite a set." Tetsu said.

"Wait until you see them all in action." Imperialdramon said.

"Well, just let me know what pokemon you would like me to send and I'll get them all ready." Professor Oak said as he tried to get through all of them. Davis better make some calls fast. Once he decided on what pokemon he wanted, he switched out his pokemon around and got the five that he wanted.

"This is awesome." Davis said as he left the building and held his five pokemon. "With these five, I can't wait to start battling again." He claimed, but he should have paid more attention to where he was going.

"Staraptor, Whirlwind!"

"Staraptor!" A Staraptor was practicing some of its attacks and generated a powerful gust of wind. It ended up hitting Davis and it was so strong that it blew all of his pokeballs right out of his hands.

"My pokemon!" Davis called.

"Staraptor, stop!" Staraptor stopped it's attack with all of them seeing it was Nathan. "Davis! Hey! I'm really sorry about that!"

"Nathan! So it was you!" Cletus said.

"Yeah. Sorry, I didn't see you guys until it was too late." Nathan said as he felt bad.

"Later! I need to get my pokemon!" Davis said as he chased after his pokeballs with the others following after him. After being reunited with his pokemon, it looks like they got separated again.

Down the Street

Staraptor's Whirlwind was quite powerful as it blew Davis' pokeballs a good distance. Davis and the others hurried to where they could have gone and started finding them.

"Here's one!" Davis called.

"I found another!" Tetsu called.

"Here are two more!" Cletus said.

"I got the last one! That's all of them!" Imperialdramon said as they were all glad to find them. However, Davis wanted to see that all of his pokemon were okay and saw that they were all empty.

"Empty?!" Davis said.

"They must have gotten out somehow. They all could be looking for you." Cletus said as it now seems like they've got missing pokemon out there.

"Where are my pokemon?!" Davis shouted in frustration.

Davis' Pokemon

The search to find Davis' pokemon was on. He needed to find all five of his pokemon that were sent here. The first they came across was Charmeleon as it just walked around the streets and tried to find where it was. It didn't take long for Davis and the others to find it.

"Look! There's Charmeleon!" Davis said as he was excited to see it again.

"And over there! I see Zebstrika!" Imperialdramon said as they saw Zebstrika near a fountain.

"Those are yours, Davis?! That's incredible!" Tetsu said.

"Wait till you see them in battle. Charmeleon! Zebstrika! Over here; it's me!" Davis called.

"Charmeleon?"

"Zebstrika?" Once they saw it was him, both of them hurried straight over to him. Charmeleon was the first to reach him as he jumped straight into Davis's arms and knocked him down. Zebstrika reached him and nuzzled up to Davis.

"I'm glad to see you guys, too." Davis said. "Both of you return so I don't lose you again." He said as he got Charmeleon and Zebstrika back in their pokeballs. "That's two down and three to go."

"But where could they be? Yorker City is huge. They could be anywhere." Cletus said.

"Well, maybe we could..." Davis was about to give an idea, but that was when they all saw a shadow fly right over them. They all looked up and saw large pokemon flying over them.

"What is that?" Tetsu questioned.

"I know! Tropius! Down here!" Davis called as that was another one of Davis' pokemon.

"Tro?" Tropius heard Davis' call and spotted it. When that happened, it turned right around and flew straight at them...coming in a little too fast that it crashed right into Davis. Of course, it was a sweet touch as it nuzzled up to Davis as well.

"I'm happy to see you too, but you need to work on the landing." Davis said. He reached for Tropius' pokeball and got it back inside as well.

"Davis, you surely have caught yourself some impressive captures." Cletus said. "On top of that, they all look real happy to be with you again."

"Well, it's been a long time for us." Davis said. "Anyway, let's get to work on finding the last two." Three pokemon down and only two more to go. Davis and his friends continued searching around for those last two. They all kept searching until they came across something. They soon met up with Shade, but it looked like he was hurt.

"Shade! You're here!" Tetsu called.

"Hey, guys..." Shade groaned.

"Are you hurt? Are you okay?" Davis asked.

"I think so. Something just came out of nowhere." Shade said. "I was just looking around about a half mile from here. All of a sudden I see a large pokemon. I tried getting close to it, but it took off fast and I think it accidently hit me with a tail."

"Did you see what it looked like?" Imperialdramon questioned.

"It looked big with a large jaw and a white collar I believe." Shade said.

"I bet I know who that is!" Davis said as he and Imperialdramon seemed rather excited. Sounded like another pokemon. Knowing that, the two of them took off with his friends following and Shade wondering what that was about. Davis and Imperialdramon ran ahead until they reached the area that Shade pointed them too.

"Hey! Are you here?!" Imperialdramon called.

"It's us! Davis and Imperialdramon! You can come out!" Davis called. They all waited for something happened...until something did. The ground began to shake as something large was heading their way. Cletsu and Tetsu were a little nervous as something big came and charged right at them.

"Heads up!" Tetsu called as they all thought they were going to get crushed. They were expecting it to run them right over, but it suddenly stopped. They both got a good look and saw it was another one of Davis' pokemon with it cuddling with both him and Imperialdramon.

"Good to see you again, Tyrantrum." Davis said.

"We knew it had to have been you." Imperialdramon.

"Tyrantrum!"

"He even has a Tyrantrum?!" Tetsu said.

"Davis, all of your pokemon are simply impressive." Cletus said. "You've caught yourself some rare and powerful pokemon."

"So who would be left?" Tetsu questioned.

"Well, we already found Charmeleon, Zebstrika, Tropius, and now Tyrantrum. That should leave one left." Cletus said.

"Who was the last one you asked for?" Tetsu asked with Davis thinking that over, but they all overheard something that caught their attention.

"Did you hear? Some large pokemon is tearing up Valor Street. It's big, strong, and giving people a good scare. Officer Jenny is taking care of it, but it's quite a fighter." They could overhear people talking about some sort of incident going on. Hearing that, Davis didn't like where this might be going.

"Oh boy. I think I know who that is." Davis said.

Valor Street

The last pokemon that Davis asked for was his Golurk. When it emerged out of its pokeball, it went searching for Davis. It was a little frantic about searching for Davis, but it caused some trouble for some people. They all think it's a wild Golurk that's gone out of control and Officer Jenny stepped in to help out.

"Boltund, Bite!" Officer Jenny said as she had her partner attack Golurk, but Golurk fought back as it used Shadow Punch and knocked Golurk back.

"Golurk!" Golurk was clearly defending itself, but they don't know about that.

"This Golurk is clearly a tough one." Officer Jenny said as she wasn't sure what to do about it.

"Persian! Night Slash!" That was right when an Alola Persian jumped at Golurk and slashed against it. It looked like Keen and Zorua were stepping in to lending a hand.

"No worries, Officer Jenny. I'll take it from here." Keen said. "Catching a big pokemon like this will be a big help in the Centros League.

"Golurk!" Golurk tried defending itself by using Hammer Arm.

"Dodge it and use Night Slash again!" Keen ordered. Persian jumped out of the way and avoided it's attack. Persian leaped at Golurk again and slashed against it. "Now use Dark Pulse!" Persian blasted Golurk with the attack and knocked Golurk right off its feet. "Good. Now, I'll catch it." He said as he reached for a pokeball and was ready to take it.

"Keen! Wait!" Davis and the others showed up just in time.

"Hey! Just in time to see me make a catch and save the day, Davis!" Keen said.

"You can't because that's my Golurk!" Davis called. That got Keen to stop.

"You okay, big guy?" Imperialdramon asked as he tried to help Golurk up and it was happy to see its friends again.

"I'm really sorry. Golurk never meant any harm." Davis said as he tried to explain the situation. "We ended up getting separated. It was just looking for me the entire time."

"So, it's yours? Oops." Keen said as he felt bad and Zorua sighed with annoyance at it's trainer again.

"I see. Well, no serious damage was done. No one was hurt. I suppose I could let this go, but do be more careful next time." Officer Jenny said as she let the whole thing slip and Davis was glad to be with his pokemon again.

"Sorry about that, Davis. Of course, if that's as strong as your big guy can be, you'll never beat me." Keen said.

"Don't be so sure. You haven't seen what my pokemon can do." Davis said. "What about you, Golurk? Are you okay?"

"Golurk!" Golurk seemed to be doing okay and was happy to see its trainer again as it lifted Davis up and placed it on its shoulder.

"Great to see you and the others again." Davis said. "I can't wait to start battling." Davis was glad to be reunited with his old pokemon, and was going to be excited to battle with them once again. The Centros League is close to beginning and all of Davis' pokemon are going to be ready.

Later

Davis spent most of the time getting reacquainted with his old pokemon and getting them all ready for the big competition. As they were getting ready, the opening ceremony soon commenced. Trainers who were competining gathered in Yorker Stadium for the big event.

"Welcome, everyone. Today marks the beginning of the Centros League. As the ceremonial torch lights up, the Centros League can begin!" Everyone one watched as the torch that signifies the league is light up and blazing in glory. "Now, we welcome our current champion: Chase!" That was a great surprise since no one knew Chase himself would be here. Chase walked out on the stage and looked excited for this himself.

"The Centros League is one of the grand events where trainers have acquired eight badges." Chase stated. "Some of the best trainers are here today and are ready to compete." Davis looked around and saw all his rivals were there and all of them were competing. After being out of league battles and tournaments for so long, he can feel the adrenaline pumping through him and was getting excited. It felt so rejuvenating to be back out there. "We ask that each trainer battles well with fairness, integrity, and give it their best."

"We will now show the matches for tomorrow." Everyone looked to the screen and showed who was battling who. To Davis' surprise, his first opponent is going to be against Shade.

"Cool! I'm going to battle Shade in the first match!" Davis said. The two of them looked at each other with both of them glad they'll be facing each other.

"We're finally back out there." Imperialdramon said. "We're finally back in the Pokemon League."

"We sure are." Davis said as it felt like they returned home. "This is where we win it."

After a long journey, Davis feels like he's back where he belongs. It's been a long journey, but the Centros League is finally here. What can we expect out of such a grand tournament? We'll soon find out.
