The exciting battle between Davis and Flint continues on. In a full six-on-six battle, both trainers went at each other with intensity. Their spirits were ignited and were getting into the battle. At the moment, it's an even match between the two with them both having three pokemon left. With these two trainers battling in such a manner, who will be the one that wins? Who wants it more?
A new adventure, another day
One more challenge that comes our way
Its up to me and you
I know what we've got to do
We are together now
Friends forever now
Whatever comes our way, we won't run away
Standing tall
And one for all
It's our destiny
Pokemon
(Davis' voice) Time to Chill
"Magmortar..." Davis said as he was faced with Flint's next pokemon with his Cloyster battling it. "I think I remember that pokemon. Is that the same Magmar I saw you catch?"
"The very same, and it's even tougher than when it was back then. You're about to see." Flint said. "Magmortar, Focus Blast!"
"Magmortar!" Magmortar held out its arms like cannons as it gathered power in them for a powerful attack.
"That's not good. Cloyster, Iron Defense!" Davis said.
"Cloyster!" Cloyster ducked inside its shell and hardened it for a boost in defense. It wasn't enough. Magmortar fired the attack with it blasting against Cloyster. Cloyster was still sent flying through the field and smashed against a rock with Cloyster looking like it was in some pain.
"Cloyster just got hit hard by Focus Blast! Iron Defense might have raised it's defensive power, but it wasn't enough to stop the attack."
"I can't lose Cloyster already. Cloyster, return!" Davis said as he brought Cloyster back to its pokeball.
"And Davis is switching out his pokemon. Which pokemon will he bring out now?"
"Switching out was a good call." Cletus said. "No way Cloyster would be able to take another attack like that."
"But which of Davis' remaining pokemon can take on that Magmortar?" Shade questioned.
"Growlithe, I choose you!" Davis called.
"Growlithe!"
"Davis has decided to fight fire with fire as he brings out Growlithe as his fifth pokemon."
"Fire against fire?! Sounds like my kind of battle!" Flint said as he was getting more and more excited about this. "Magmortar, show them your flame burns hotter! Use Mystical Fire!" Magmortar held out his arms and unleashed a powerful and intense flame. The attack appeared to have landed as flames covered the field.
"What an intense blast of Mystical Fire!"
"That won't stop us! Flame Charge!" Davis called. Growlithe charged right through the flames, coated in its own. It charged right at Magmortar and tackled against it.
"You'll have to do better than that! Magmortar, Focus Punch!" Flint called. Magmortar focused its energy into its fist and smashed it right against Growlithe.
"Growlithe tried to fight back, but Magmortar hits a little harder."
"Let's see you try that again! Confuse Magmortar by running in circles with Agility!" Davis called. Growlithe started running in circles around Magmortar and was only getting faster and faster. Magmortar looked around, but didn't know where to attack.
"Growlithe is running circles around Magmortar! Magmortar doesn't know where to attack! Looks like it might pay to be small after all!"
"Add to it by using Fire Spin!" Davis called. Growlithe breathed out a spiraling flame and tried to deal damage to Magmortar even if it's only a little.
"You can't beat us with fire! Magmortar, use a widespread Mystical Fire!" Flint ordered. Magmortar held out its arms and unleashed an intense blast of fire and it looked like Growlithe got caught in it.
"We're not done! Growlithe, use Reversal!" Davis called. Growlithe jumped through the flames and coated in energy. It smashed itself against Magmortar and that attack did some real damage against Magmortar. Growlithe tackled Magmortar hard enough to knocked Magmortar out of the battle.
"Magmortar is unable to battle!"
"Growlith wins this fire fight. That leaves Flint with only two pokemon left."
"Only two fire pokemon left. One of them has got to be his Typhlosion. He never goes anywhere without his trusted partner." Tetsu claimed.
"Yeah... If his second pokemon is who I think it is, it's going to be a problem for Growlithe." Cletus said. "Reversal might be a tough move, but it grows stronger the weaker the user is. Davis better be careful with this one."
"Magcargo, turn up the heat!" Flint called as he chose his next pokemon.
"Magcargo!"
"And we have another fire-type from Flint: Magcargo, who is also a rock-type. That could be a problem for Growlithe."
"Sorry, Growlithe. You might be a fellow fire-type, but I'm winning this one." Flint claimed. "Use Ancient Power!" Magcargo unleashed some power that caused some rocks to be launched right at Growlithe.
"Use Agility to dodge!" Davis called. Growlithe increased its speed once again and ran around the field to avoid Magcargo's attack.
"Growlithe is using its incredible speed to avoid Macargo. Will that speed be enough to help win this battle?"
"Not this time! Magcargo, shake the ground by using Body Slam!" Flint called. Magcargo jumped up in the air and slammed itself against the ground and caused the ground to shake. The vibrations traveling through the ground caused Growlithe to lose its balance and was forced to stop running. "There! Now use Rock Tomb!" Magcargo summoned some rocks and lunged them right at Growlithe. They all came down and trapped Growlithe inside.
"Oh my! Growlith is trapped! Magcargo's combo was quite effective."
"Growlithe, can you get out of here?!" Davis called. Growlithe tried, but it looks like it couldn't.
"Now use Body Slam!" Flint Called. Magcargo jumped up in the air and came straight down on a trapped Growlithe. Magcargo smashed down right on Growlithe and that didn't look good. When Magcargo moved out of the way, Growlithe was knocked out of the battle.
"Growlithe is unable to battle!"
"Flint has even the score once again with both sides having only two pokemon left."
"Growlithe, return." Davis said as he brought Growlithe back to its pokeball.
"What now? Cloyster took some heavy damage. You want me to go in there?" Imperialdramon said.
"Not just yet. Typhlosion has to be his remaining pokemon." Davis said. "I might need you for that one. I'll justh ave to bet on Cloyster's defense and hope it holds out. Cloyster, you're up!"
"Cloyster!" Cloyster came out, but Cloyster looked like it was running on fumes.
"Cloyster is brought back in, but did it have enough time to recover from its battle with Magmortar?"
"Cloyster, Chilling Water!" Davis called with Cloyster using the attack.
"Duck inside your shell!" Flint called. Magcargo ducked inside its rock shell and tried to endure the attack, but the water still blasted against it and some damage was being dealt.
"Magcargo might be safe in it's shell, but it's still taking damage. With it being a rock-type and a fire-type, it's taking heavy damage." Nathan said.
"But Cloyster has taken some damage itself. This battle might not last very long." Shade claimed.
"Now use Flamethrower!" Flint called. Once the attack stopped, Magcargo came out and fired some flames right at Cloyster. Cloyster was taking some damage itself, but was trying its best to endure the attack.
"It looks like this is turning into a battle of endurance! Which one will be the first to fall?!"
"It won't be us!" Both trainers said.
"Use Ancient Power!"
"Chilling Water one more time!" Both pokemon used their respective attacks, but their attacks just passed right through each other and smashed into the other.
"Both pokemon were hit, and both attacks look like they did a lot of damage!" A lot of damage was right because both of them were taken out at the same time.
"Both Magcargo and Cloyster are unable to battle! This match ends in a draw!"
"A draw! Who would have seen that one coming?! Both pokemon are taken out and now both sides are down to just one pokemon with neither of them battled yet. This last match could be the most intense of them all!" Both of them brought their pokemon back to their pokeballs and readied themselves for their final battle.
"Well, this is it! I wish this battle wouldn't have to end, but it looks like it has to!" Flint said.
"Yeah. It's been a great battle, but it has to end. It's going to end with me being the winner." Davis said.
"Think again. Typhlosion, turn up the heat even more!" Flint called as he brought out his last pokemon.
"Typhlosion!"
"And Flint's last pokemon is Typhlosion, and it looks like it's a powerful one."
"Let's do this, pal." Davis said.
"Yeah. We're the ones that are gonna win." Imperialdramon claimed as he walked right on the field.
"Davis' last pokemon is called Imperialdramon. It's a very rare pokemon, not another like it has been found. According to our research, this pokemon is considered a dragon-type, and can actually talk! This battle could end up going either way."
"This is. One last battle between them." Tetsu said.
"Both of them are trainers that are passionate about battling with some powerful pokemon." Cletus said. "This battle might go either way, but it could all really come down to who wants it more." Everyone was starting to get into this battle. Even Chase was getting interested in this.
"Let's do this! Imperialdramon, Focus Punch!" Davis called.
"Typhlosion, Flame Wheel!" Flint called. Both of them used their respective attacks and ended up crashing against each other.
"Both attacks have collided, but neither side seems to be backing down." Both of them tried pushing the other back only for the two attacks to cancel each other out.
"Now use Brick Break!" Davis called with Imperialdramon smashing his arm against Typhlosion.
"Fight back with Double-Edge!" Flint called. Typhlosion pushed Imperialdramon's arm aside and smashed itself against Imperialdramon. "Now use Eruption!" They didn't like the sound of that. Typhlosion used its best attack and blasted Imperialdramon at point-blank range. Imperialdramon was blown back from the attack and some real damage was dealt.
"A point-blank Eruption! That has got to hurt!"
"Can you keep going?" Davis said.
"Yeah. This is nothing." Imperialdramon said as he was getting back up.
"Don't light up on the attacks! Use Stomping Tantrum!" Flint called. Typhlosion stomped around and shot some rocks straight at him, but Imperialdramon took to the sky and was able to avoid the attack. "Whoa! That's fast!"
"You haven't seen anything yet! Dragon Pulse!" Davis called. Imperialdramon unleashed some dragon power and blasted Typhlosion with it. "Now use Dragon Rush!" Using more of his dragon power, Imperialdramon surrounded himself with it and dived straight at Typhlosion.
"That won't work! Use Eruption!" Flint called. Typhlosion fired a blast right at Imperialdramon with his attack being intercepted and Imperialdramon was blown away from it.
"Eruption was used to stop Dragon Rush! That looked quite powerful!"
"Eruption has to be Typhlosion's best attack. That's going to be a tough one to deal with." Shade said.
"If Davis is aiming to win, he's got to figure out how he's going to get around it." Nathan said.
"Keep the flames going! Flame Wheel!" Flint called. Typhlosion went straight at them again.
"Here it comes! Focus Punch!" Davis called. Imperialdramon focused its power and countered against Flame Wheel. The two of them tried push the other back, but they only ended up cancelling each other out once again. Imperialdramon's really started to feel the heat as he had to shake his hand to cool it. "You okay?!"
"Yeah. Typhlosion is just tougher than I thought." Imperialdramon said.
"It's only going to get worse for you! Double-Edge!" Flint called. Typhlosion charged right into Imperialdramon and smashed all of it's weight against Imperialdramon. This battle is shaping to be a great one. That was proof of how Flint was laughing like he was having the time of his life.
"This is great! I love having battles like this! The intensity, the thrill, and the fun! I wish it never had to end!" Flint claimed.
"I know what you mean, Flint. I wish this didn't have to end myself, but I'm afraid it has to." Davis said. He wished this battle could go on, but a winner must be made. "Imperialdramon, let's end this battle! are you ready for something big!"
"Oh yeah!" Imperialdramon claimed.
"Use a combination attack of Focus Punch and Dragon Rush!" Davis said.
"He's doing what?!" Flint questioned. Imperialdramon tried using two attacks at once. He gathered his dragon power and focused it into his fist. He got his attack ready and they could tell it was going to be a powerful one. "Typhlosion, stop them with Eruption!" Typhlosion tried using the attack and tried blasting Imperialdramon like before, but it was different. Imperialdramon was pushing through the attack. Imperialdramon pushed right through the Eruption and wasn't stopping there. Imperialdramon poured all of his power into the attack and smashed his fist right against Typhlosion with a large explosion going off. "Typhlosion!" He called in concern. As great as the battle was, it had to come to an end. That's what happened when they saw that Typhlosion was knocked right out of the battle.
"Typhlosion is unable to battle! All six of Flint's pokemon are unable to battle! That means that victory goes to Davis!" The ref declared as the battle was over and the crowd cheered for Davis.
"Davis wins and he'll be going to the semi-finals!"
"Yes! We did it! We won!" Davis cheered as he was feeling real good about himself now.
"Yeah, Davis!" Tetsu cheered.
"That was awesome! I can't believe he used a combination attack like that! I didn't even know that was possible!" Shade said.
"That's Davis! Always filled with surprises!" Cletus said.
"Most impressive." Chase said as even he was impressed. "Davis certainly quite a trainer." As for Flint, he almost couldn't believe it.
"It's really over..." Flint said as it all sank in. He felt like his fire was being snuffed out now. Still, he tried putting on a brave face. "Thank you, Typhlosion." He said as he brought Typhlosion back to its pokeball. "Thanks for the battle, Davis." Flint just turned around and walked away. Davis noticed how Flint was just leaving and wondered if he was going to be okay. Even so, the Centros League went on. The other battles happened with the top four being made, Keen being one of them.
"We now have our four semi-finalists. We'll soon see who will be battling next." The pairings shuffled around until it landed on one of the battles being Keen vs. Davis.
"Check it out! Keen and Davis are finally going to battle!" Tetsu said. Seeing they'll finally get to battle each other, the two of them are looking forward to another intense battle to come. Of course, Davis might be going into this battle blind since Keen has pokemon and moves Davis isn't all that familiar with. This could end up being his toughest battle.
The Centros League rages on with the semi-final battle being between Keen and Davis. These two have never faced each other before, but it looks like they will now. Both of them have their own tricks and abilities up their sleeve. Which one will really be the one that wins? Don't miss this part of the Centros League.
