As the Centros League continues to be a big hit. Davis' battle against Flint ended up being a great one where Imperialdramon managed to defeat Flint's Typhlosion and get Davis the win. Now, he's in the semi-finals and finds himself going against Keen next. Although, they never faced each other before, Davis is aware he's going against a trainer with pokemon and abilities he's not familiar with. How is this battle going to playout?
A new adventure, another day
One more challenge that comes our way
Its up to me and you
I know what we've got to do
We are together now
Friends forever now
Whatever comes our way, we won't run away
Standing tall
And one for all
It's our destiny
Pokemon
As the morning sun began to rise, the semi-finals of the Centros League will be starting soon. Davis was up early for his battle with Keen. He wanted to make sure his pokemon were ready for this.
"Listen, guys. We're going against Keen next and I know he's tough. Otherwise, he wouldn't even be in the semi-finals." Davis said. "I know that might not sound like a big deal. We've gone against trainers we knew nothing about before, but it's different this time. With Keen, we really don't know what to expect. We've got to be ready for anything because it sounds like things are different in Alola than they are here." All of his pokemon understood and were ready for whatever battle they have to face.
"You're up early." Davis and his pokemon looked and spotted Chase.
"Chase!" Davis said.
"What are you doing out here?" Imperialdramon said.
"I don't mind getting up early." Chase said. "I take it you're a little excited about your upcoming battle."
"Yeah. Keen can actually use these attacks called Z-Moves. I don't know much about that, not to mention he's got different kinds of pokemon like that Persian of his." Davis said. "It's just... It's been a long time for me, Chase. I haven't competed in this level for a long time, which is why I wanted to restart my journey. I missed all of it."
"I may not know all the details, but I think I get it." Chase said. "Getting back out there can be quite difficult, but it seems like you're doing fine. On that note, have you thought about what to do once the Centros League is over?"
"No. Not yet." Davis said.
"I see..." Chase said as that had him thinking about something Davis might be interested in.
...
Flint
As everyone was getting ready for the upcoming battles, Flint decided to pass some time by watching some videos of other battles. Since he can longer battle in the tournament, he used a computer and tried to see others with Typhlosion watching behind him.
"That Hariyama is tough. It would have made a great opponent." Flint said. "So would have that Tyranitar, Rhyperior, and that Serviper. There are so many great opponents here that would have brought great battles. Don't you think, Typhlosion?"
"Ty..." Typhlosion seemed more concerned with how Flint was feeling. It didn't seem like he was doing well since he lost to Davis.
"What? You think I'm upset about something? I'm not." Flint denied. "I mean... Yeah, I did a lot of battling to get me in this tournament, and all of it was fun. I faced so many great opponents, had so many great battles. I just..." He struggled to say as he was starting to let tears fall. "I just wish I could have battled more. It was all so much fun, but I lost and it's over." He cried as he had so much fun and enjoyment in the battles and the adventure, but it's all over for him now. "I'm not upset that I lost. I just wish it didn't have to end." Typhlosion felt bad for its trainer with it nuzzling up against him to make him feel better and it actually worked. "Thanks, Typhlosion."

The Battlefield
"Welcome back everyone as we are going to start the semi-finals of the Centros League! Four powerful trainers have made it this far, and one will be crowned our winner soon."
"Davis is going against Keen next. This is going to be an interesting battle." Nathan said as they all met up again to watch the battle. As for Flint, he just hung out in a different part of the stadium with him and Typhlosion watching. "Be honest, guys. Out of the two, who do you think is stronger."
"That's a good question." Tetsu said as he thought about it. "Truth be told, we haven't seen Keen play his whole hand yet."
"These two have never battled each other before." Cletus said. "Keen's got pokemon from Alola, not to mention those Z-Moves. It's difficult to say exactly how this battle is going to go."
"And now, we welcome our trainers for our first battle. We've got Davis, who came all the way from Kanto, going up against the Centros trainer powered by Alola: Keen." The two of them came out on the battlefield as the two of them were excited to battle each other. "These two will be battling on a dirt battlefield." The battlefield came up as it was just a simple battlefield. "Now, we will see which pokemon these two trainers will be starting out with."
"I'm ready to go. This going to be a great battle." Keen said with Zorua getting excited as well. "Vikavolt, you're up first!"
"Vikavolt!"
"Galvantula, I choose you!" Davis called.
"Galvantula!"
"Keen is battling with Vikavolt while Davis is battling with Galvantula. Both pokemon are electric-types, but they are bug-types as well. We'll soon see which one of them is stronger."
"Let's do this, Keen!" Davis called.
"Bring it on, Davis!" Keen said.
"Galvantula, kick us off! Start this battle with Electro Ball!" Davis called.
"Counter with Charge Beam!" Keen called. Both pokemon used their attacks and they ended up crashing against each other, cancelling each other out. "Now use Acrobatics!" Vikavolt flew right at Galvantula with some fancy movements and was coming right at Galvantula, smashing against it.
"Vikavolt used some fancy movments with Acrobatics and attacked Galvantula. It certainly didn't waste a movement."
"Try and stop Vikavolt's movements with Sticky Web!" Davis called. Galvantula tried shooting globs of webbing, but Vikavolt kept flying around and was avoiding each attack thrown at it. Galvantula did fire once more and it looked like it was going to connect.
"X-Scissor!" Keen called as Vikavolt used its jaws and sliced right through the webbing. Davis didn't expect that.
"Vikavolt slashed right through that Sticky Web! It didn't slow Vikavolt down at all!"
"Use Acrobatics again!" Keen called. Vikavolt flew at Galvantula and smashed against it once more.
"Use Poison Jab!" Davis called. Galvantula tried attacking Vikavolt, but Vikavolt moved out of the way before it could connect.
"Now use Dig!" Keen called. Vikavolt pulled a surprising move as it actually started to dig in the ground.
"You're kidding me! Vikavolt knows Dig?!" Davis said. Galvantula looked around for where Vikavolt might come out from. Vikavolt came out from right under Galvantula and caused it's underside from being exposed.
"Now use Acrobatics!" Keen ordered. Vikavolt came back around and smashed against Galvantula and causing it to flip over. Galvantula ended up on its back and was knocked out.
"Galvantula is unable to battle!"
"And the first win goes to Keen and his Vikavolt."
"So Davis is the first one to lose a pokemon?!" Shade said.
"It's still early. He can comeback from this." Cletus said.
"Galvantula, return. You did good." Davis said as he brought Galvantula back. "Since Vikavolt is a bug-type, you're the best one to battle it! Growlithe!"
"Growlithe!"
"Davis brings out Growlithe as his second pokemon."
"You're going to need more than type advantage. Vikavolt, Dig!" Keen called as Vikavolt dug around the ground again.
"Not this time! Growlithe, Agility!" Davis called. Just as Vikavolt came out from under Growlithe, Growlithe sped off and caused Vikavolt to miss.
"Vikavolt's Dig missed! That Growlithe is quick on it's feet!"
"Now use Acrobatics!" Keen called.
"Growlithe, Flame Charge!" Davis called. The two pokemon went at each other with their attacks and smashed into each other, but Vikavolt was the one that was knocked back.
"Vikavolt lost that struggle! That has to hurt!"
"Now use Fire Spin!" Davis called. Growlithe shot out a spiraling flame and blasted Vikavolt. That attack was enough to blast Vikavolt out of the sky and out of the battle.
"Vikavolt is unable to battle!"
"Davis has even the score. Both sides now have five pokemon remaining."
"Vikavolt, return. You did great out there." Keen said as Vikavolt was brought back to its pokeball. "I knew this battle wasn't going to be easy, but we came prepared for it. Araquanid, you're up next!"
"Araqua!" His next pokemon was certainly a surprise to Davis.
"What is that thing?!" Davis called.
"Some freaky water spider?!" Imperialdramon figured.
"Keen's next pokemon is Araquanid. It might be another bug-type, but it's also a water-type."
"A bug-type that's also a water-type?!" Tetsu said as he wasn't expecting that. "How is Davis going to deal with something like that?"
"This is what I was weary of." Cletus said. "Keen's using pokemon that Davis probably isn't familiar with. Keen's got quite a set of moves with his pokemon. There's really no telling what's going to happen from here."
"What's the plan? Growlithe can't take on a water-type." Imperialdramon questioned.
"But Araquanid is a bug-type too. Maybe if I use speed, I can win this battle." Davis said as he was daring to keep going. "Growlithe, charge in with Flame Charge!" Growlithe coated itself in fire and charged right at Araquanid, but Araquanid didn't appear to be worried.
"Use Liquidation!" Keen called
"Liquid-what?!" Davis said as he wasn't familiar with that attack. What happened was that Araquanid had water coat around its legs and used them to attack Growlithe with Growlithe getting getting hit hard.
"Growlithe just got countered by Liquidation! That might be it!" Growlith slid against the ground and was out in just one attack.
"Growlithe is unable to battle!"
"In just one hit, Growlithe is knocked out of the battle."
"Oh man. I thought I could beat Araquanid with speed, but it's got power." Davis said as he brought Growlithe back in its pokeball.
"Now what's Davis gonna do?" Nathan said.
"That Araquanid has some power. Despite type advantage, taking Growlithe out in one shot shows how strong it is." Shade said. "He's got to take it down or else he might find himself in a bind here."
"Venomoth, you're up!" Davis called as he chose his next pokemon.
"Venomoth!"
"We've got Venomoth now. Venomoth is Davis' third pokemon."
"Venomoth, blast that Araquanid with Gust!" Davis called. Venomoth started flapping its wings and generated a powerful gust that blast against Araquanid, but Araquanid appeared to be holding on.
"Hang in there, Araquanid!" Keen called.
"Araquanid appears to be holding out against that Gust, but just how long can it endure like that!"
"Venomoth, Psybeam!" Davis called.
"Counter that by using Ice Beam!" Keen called. Both pokemon used their respective attacks with them clashing against each other. They tried to push the other back, but they both ended up canceling each other out.
"We've got to try and slow that Araquanid down. Venomoth, Poison Powder!" Davis called. Venomoth tried spraying the poisonous powder over the field to get Araquanid.
"Araquanid, jump!" Keen called. Araquanid jumped high in the air. In fact, Araquanid jumped up to Venomoth's level. No one expected Araquanid to jump that high.
"Look at that! Araquanid got some air!"
"Now use Liquidation!" Keen called. Araquanid attacked Venomoth with water and knocked Venomoth right out of the air. It wasn't looking good. "Now use Ice Beam!" Araquanid landed down and fired the cold beam right at Venomoth and Venomoth was taking some serious damage.
"Venomoth! No!" Davis called, but it was too late for Venomoth. It was knocked right out of the battle.
"Venomoth is unable to battle!"
"Venomoth has been taken out! Davis now only has three pokemon while Keen still has five! Whatever decisions Davis makes next will be crucial." That's right because Davis is in a real bind now and has no idea how he's going to get himself out of this one.
The semi-finals of the Centros League is underway, but Davis is falling behind. Keen has proven that he's quite a powerful trainer himself using powerful attacks with pokemon equally as strong. Having to deal with pokemon and combinations he knows little to nothing about, how is Davis going to get himself out of this one?
