Davis has managed to earn his first pass in Pokemon Grand Orientation and now only has three to go. Our heroes are continuing on with their journey through the Galore Islands and have stopped at another local island where they and their pokemon can enjoy themselves.

All of them were on another island and were trying to have some lunch with their pokemon out and enjoying themselves. One pokemon in particular was going to have something that really enjoyed themselves.

"Venomoth... Veno..." Venomoth flew around the water and kept playing around with it's reflection where it seemed like Venomoth didn't have a care in the world. That was when Venomoth heard a lovely sound. It looked further down the shore and spotted a Beautifly.

"Beautifly. Beautifly Beautifly." It sounded like Beautfly was singing and it was lovely. That Beautifly also looked so beautiful that it was love at first sight for Venomoth as it had hearts in its eyes.

"Venomoth!" Venomoth flew right over and looked so happy with it trying to get Beautifly's attention.

"Did you say something Venomoth?" Davis questioned, but didn't see Venomoth. He looked around until he spotted Venomoth and what Venomoth was doing. "What's going on with Venomoth?"

"Is that a Beautifly?" Tetsu questioned with Davis taking out his pokedex.

"Beautfily, the Butterfly Pokemon. A bug and flying-type, and the evolve form of Silcoon. Despite how they look, Beautifly can actually be quite savage."

"Savage? How?" Davis questioned.

"Check out Venomoth. Venomoth looks really happy." Imperialdramon pointed out. It seemed like Venomoth did look rather happy, but Beautifly wasn't. In fact, Beautifly looked rather annoyed as it used Stun Spore right on Venomoth and flew away. That didn't look good.

(Davis' voice) Bitten by the Love Bug

"Venomoth! Are you okay?!" Davis asked as they tended to Venomoth's needs.

"Here. This should help with the Stun Spore." Cletus said as he helped Venomoth take some elixir that cured it of it's paralysis.

"Venomoth? How are you feeling?" Davis questioned. Venomoth was clearly feeling better as it got straight up and flew after that Beautifly like nothing would stop it. "What was that about?"

"I heard Venomoth call for that Beautifly." Imperialdramon said. "I saw hearts in Venomoth's eyes. I think Venomoth might be experiencing love at first."

"Love?!" All of them said as they almost couldn't believe it.

"Come on! Let's go!" Davis said as they all wanted to see how this is going to playout and went after Venomoth. all of them made their way through the woods. They all kept going until they soon came across something they weren't expecting. They were faced with a large circus tent and it looked like their was a lot of pokemon performing. "What the heck? What is this?"

"Is the circus in town?" Tetsu questioned.

"Look! There's Venomoth!" Cletus said as he spotted Venomoth with Beautifly, but was also with it's trainer and a Kricketune. The trainer was a woman with long red hair tied back in a huge tail with a blue hat, pink shirt, and overalls.

"Excuse me, but we're in the middle of something. Beautifly can't play now." The woman said as she tried to get Venomoth to settle down.

"Venomoth!" Davis called as they all hurried over with Imperialdramon grabbing a hold of Venomoth. "You know you shouldn't go off on your own like that."

"Sorry about that, but it looks like Venomoth has taken an interest in your Beautifly." Tetsu said.

"Oh my... That's what this is about." The woman said as she found that adorable. "It's fine. We're just trying to rehearse. My name is Maya and this is our performance stage."

"Hi. I'm Davis, and you already met my Venomoth." Davis said.

"I'm Imperialdramon."

"I'm Tetsu."

"And I'm Cletus."

"Did you say this is your performance stage? Are you some sort of performer?" Davis questioned.

"That's right. We go from one island to the next and put on a series of performances with our pokemon with dancing, singing, and more." Maya said. "Our show is happening today where people from other islands will be coming to see our show. I was rehearsing with Beautifly and Kricketune when your Venomoth showed up."

"Sounds like it could be fun to watch." Cletus said as they all liked how it might have sounded. Venomoth was getting rather excited and it seemed like it wanted to see Beautifly perform.

"Venomoth, do you like Beautifly? Do you want to stay and see the show?" Davis asked. Venomoth confirmed that it did and was really excited about it. Davis felt so happy that Venomoth was experiencing love that he tried containing his excitement. "Maya, is it okay that we see the show?"

"Sure. It's open to everyone." Maya said.

"Great! We'll see what Venomoth's new love can do!" Davis cheered.

"New love?! Davis, don't get ahead of yourself!" Tetsu said.

"But he does it all the time." Imperialdramon claimed.

The Show

Soon, the show was about to begin and people from different islands came to see it. It ended up being a great show with a variety of pokemon performing. There were Skiploom putting on an airshow, Sunflora line dancing, and a bunch of water-types putting on water shows.

"Get ready, Venomoth. Beautifly is up next." Davis said.

"And now, please welcome the lovely and elegant Beautifly!" Maya announced. That was when Beautifly came out with Kricketune creating a beautiful melody. Beautifly used it to sing and dance with it seeming like an enjoyable show. Beautifly simply looked incredible.

"That Beautifly really knows how to turn on the charm." Tetsu said as they were all enjoying it. Venomoth loved it of course and couldn't control itself. Venomoth wanted to go up and join Beautifly, and that's exactly what it did. Venomoth joined Beautifly on the stage and started flying around with Beautifly trying to avoid Venomoth.

"Oh boy. Poor Venomoth can't seem to control itself." Cletus said as he was worried this was trouble, but the crowd apparently loved it.

"Don't you think Venomoth is coming on a little strong?" Tetsu questioned.

"No. Venomoth is showing how dedicated and persistent it is." Davis said as he was behind Venomoth on this. The show kept going until Beautifly got really annoyed and just flew off the stage. The audience thought it was part of show and cheered.

"Well, that was certainly unexpected." Maya said as she came over to the others.

"Sorry about that, Maya. Venomoth can't seem to control itself." Imperialdramon claimed.

"It's fine. The audience clearly loves it." Maya said. "The problem is that my Beautifly doesn't like to share the spotlight."

"Well, Beautifly clearly doesn't know what a sweet pokemon Venomoth is." Davis said as he stood up. "Venomoth, let's go! You'll win over Beautifly! We just need to show what a great pokemon you are, and I know how to do it. Let's go!" He said as he ran out of there with Venomoth going with him.

"Since when did Davis become a romantic?" Cletus said as this was puzzling to the others.

"I'm worried he isn't for poor Venomoth." Tetsu said. Davis was persistent to help Venomoth in this and was pulling out all the stops that he could.

"Top hat, bowtie, and here." Davis said as he gave him some props by giving Venomoth those accessories with a container of pokemon food and yellow flowers. "Give these flowers to Beautifly with this pokemon food that Cletus said bug-types love." Venomoth took what Davis gave it thinking it would work. "Venomoth, I know what it's like trying to impress a girl that seems like she has no interest in you, but I managed to win her heart. That's why I'm with you on this. You got this." He encouraged as he let Venomoth had it's way with Venomoth heading straight for Beautifly and was feeling confident.

"Hey." Davis looked to see Maya and the others coming over to join him. "How's it going with Venomoth?" Tetsu questioned.

"We're about to find out." Davis said as they all watched carefully. Venomoth made it's way to Beautifly and offered the gift, but Beautifly didn't seem interested. Venomoth kept trying while being kind about it, but Beautifly was not kind as it used Gust against Venomoth and rejected it. Poor Venomoth got shotdown hard as Beautifly flew off.

"That really Beautifly really is savage! It shot poor Venomoth down hard!" Tetsu said.

"I'm really sorry about this, Davis. My Beautifly can be a little high strong." Maya said.

"Poor, Venomoth. There just has to be something Venomoth can do." Davis said, but it's not looking good for Venomoth.

...

Beautifly

Beautifly flew out into the woods of the island and it seemed like it just wanted to be left alone. Beautifly kept flying around until it found a nice spot to land. However, Beautifly ended up choosing the wrong spot.

"Garbodor..." It turns out that Beautifly landed right on a Garbodor while it was resting, but Beautifly woke it up. Garbodor tried shaking Beautifly off, but Beautifly was already in a gotten mood as it actually used Gust on Garbodor out of annoyance. That was a mistake as Garbodor got mad and smashed its arm against Beautifly and knocked Beautifly down. Beautifly was starting to get scared. It even tried apologizing, but Garbodor didn't want to hear any of it and was just going to attack it.

"Venomoth, Psybeam!" Davis called.

"Venomoth!" Venomoth blasted Garbodor with the attack and stood between Garbodor and Beautifly.

"What the heck is going on now?" Tetsu said as he and the others arrived on the scene.

"Who's that pokemon?" Davis questioned as he pulled out his pokedex.

"Garbodor, the Trash Heap Pokemon. A poison-type, and the evolve form of Trubbish. This pokemon eats trash that it turns into poison that it can use."

"That Garbodor looks really mad." Cletus said.

"Venomoth, this is your chance! Show Beautifly what a great pokemon you are!" Davis encouraged. "Psybeam is your best attack against that Garbodor. Let it have it!" Venomoth battled in the name of love as it unleashed Psybeam at Garbodor, but Garbodor fought back. It launched a series of Mud Shot attacks, but Venomoth flew around and was avoiding each attack and kept attacking with Psybeam.

"That Garbodor is tough." Cletus said.

"Yeah, but Venomoth has this." Imperialdramon said. It seemed like Venomoth was doing rather well, but Garbodor used Mud Shot again. Venomoth tried to avoid it, but one shot was heading to Beautifly. Seeing that, Venomoth moved fast and took the attack for Beautifly.

"Venomoth!" Davis called as that looked like it hurt.

"Kricketune, help end this! Put Garbodor to sleep with Sing!" Maya said.

"Krick!" Kricketune used Sing and some music notes came flying out and around Garbodor with Garbodor falling asleep and ending this.

"Sorry, Davis. I know Venomoth wanted to impress Beautfily, but things were getting out of hand." Maya said.

"I know." Davis said as he hurried over to Venomoth. "Venomoth, are you hurt?" He asked, but it seemed like Venomoth got back up.

"Beautifly! Beautifly!" Beautifly started flying again and sounded scared and concerned with how it was flying towards Venomoth.

"Look! I think you won Beautifly's heart!" Davis said. Venomoth believes so as well with the two flying at each other in the name of love for it seemed like Venomoth might have found the one. Venomoth thought it found happiness, but Beautifly flew right past Venomoth and went straight to Kricketune as it seemed like those two were deeply in love. It was at that moment that Venomoth's poor little heart shattered.

"Oh no. It looks like Beautifly likes Kricketune, and the feeling appears to be mutual." Cletus said as the hearts in Venomoth's eyes turned to tears.

"Sorry, Venomoth. That's how love works sometimes. I know it hurts, okay to let it out." Davis said and Venomoth certainly did.

The Show

"I'm really sorry things didn't go the way your Venomoth would have liked, but I do hope you all enjoyed your time here." Maya said as they were about to part ways.

"It was still a great show." Cletus said.

"But for Venomoth's sake, we better not come back." Imperialdramon said.

"Bye, Maya." Davis said as all of them were hitting the road with Venomoth riding on Davis' head with it feeling miserable.

"Bye! All of you take care!" Maya called as she and all the pokemon waved them off. After all that, the only thing Venomoth is left with is a broken heart.

"The heart wants what the heart wants, Venomoth. Not much you can do about that. I know it hurts, but it will all be okay. It will just take time." Davis said.

"Yeah. There are plenty of bugs swarming, or however that saying goes in this case." Tetsu said, but getting over a broken heart is rather difficult. Suddenly, Venomoth spotted a Masquerain flying by. When it spotted that, Venomoth's eyes had hearts once again.

"Venomoth!" Venomoth got so excited and flew after that Masquerain.

"Venomoth! Wait!" Davis called as he chased after Venomoth.

"That didn't take long!" Tetsu said as they all chased after Venomoth.

The heart wants what the heart wants, but I wonder what it is exactly that Venomoth wants. Maybe our heroes will find all the things they want as well...as the journey continues.
