"Two down and two to go." Davis said as he rode a boat and admired the two passes he managed to obtain. "Only two more to go, and then Chase said I can take on the head of Pokemon Grand Orientation."

Davis has managed to win the second challenge. With that, he has only two more to clear.

"Where's the next facility located?" Tetsu questioned.

"I'm looking for it. It looks like it's on...Sepedo Island." Cletus said as he looked over the map. "We've got some ways to go before we hit there."

"Well, at least we can do some more exploring over the islands." Davis said as they can just enjoy the ride.

"Hey! Someone grab that!" They all had a look and saw someone chasing after a piece of old paper that was flying through the air. A closer look showed that it looked like some kind of map. "Somebody grab that before it blows away!" What are Davis and the others about to stumble upon now?

(Davis' voice) Avast for thee Treasure

The map looked like it was about to fly away, but Imperialdramon acted quickly as he was able to grab the map and was able to save it from flying away.

"Hey! Thanks a lot for that!" The guy who was chasing it said. Upon closer inspection, they saw the guy had tanned skin with half of his hair red and the other half blonde with a spikey tail tied back. He wore a red shirt with black pants with a large bag hanging off his shoulder. "I don't know what I do if I lost that." He said as he took it back.

"No problem." Imperialdramon said.

"I say... That looks like some sort of map." Cletus said.

"A map to what?" Davis questioned.

"Easy. It's a treasure map." The guy said.

"A treasure map?!" They all said as that sounded interesting.

"Yeah. Take a look." He said as he showed them a map of an island. Not only did it had pokemon on it, it also had a large X on it.

"No way! Is that a real pirate treasure map?!" Davis said.

"That's right. Let me introduce myself. My name is Donnie, and I'm an actual treasure hunter." This was sounding interesting. They're meeting with an actual treasure hunter. Wanting to know more, all of them gathered around a table on the ship and were talking about what is going on.

"So, are you a real treasure hunter?" Tetsu asked.

"Yeah, but I don't do it for money. I do it for the adventure." Donnie said. "Whatever I do find, I donate it to a museum. It's a lot of fun."

"That sounds really great." Cletus said.

"So, what's this a map to?" Davis said.

"The lost treasure of Anna Bonn, one of the few female pirates." Donnie said as he showed the map. "This map is of the island this ship will be docking at, the same island named after her: Bonn Island. See where the X is in this cove? They say that this is where Anna Bonn's ship went down. They say her treasure is still on there."

"Was Anna Bonn that famous of a pirate?" Davis questioned.

"She sure was, and a pirate that pokemon seemed to love." Donnie said. "They say that she had this strange of connecting with pokemon, and they do anything for her. Some believe that her treasure is what allowed her to do that. Of course, many sailors have tried to get to that treasure and all have failed."

"This sounds really cool." Davis said as he was loving this.

"Hold on. What about these pokemon on the map?" Cletus asked as he pointed to the three pokemon on the map. "There's a Breloom, a Beedrill, and a Honchkrow."

"I haven't quite figured that out yet, but they must hold some meaning." Donnie said as they tried to figure that out.

"Breloom is a fighting and grass-type." Cletus said.

"Beedrill is a poison and bug-type." Davis said.

"Honchkrow is a dark and flying-type." Tetsu said.

"Other than their types being badly compatible for each other, they don't really have anything in common." Imperialdramon claimed.

"What about this? There's something under the X." Donnie said as he pointed to a shadow underneath the X.

"That could be anything." Cletus said.

"This is so cool! We've got to check this out! Donnie, can you please take us with you?" Davis asked as he wants to see how this goes.

"Well, I guess I could use a little help." Donnie said. "If all those before me failed, having some help would be a good idea." It sounded like Donnie was letting them come along, and it sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun.

Bonn Island

The ship soon docked on the island and they got to searching for the treasure. Donnie seemed to really knew what he was doing as he was able to read the map and knew what direction to go in.

"Avast, me mattes. The treasure soon be ours." Davis said as he was talking like a pirate.

"Talk like a normal person please." Tetsu said with annoyance. "So, what's first with the treasure hunting? If the treasure is in a cove, wouldn't be easier to head there."

"Some sailor tried that, but I heard they can't get in for some reason. We're heading for where the Breloom is on the map." Donnie said. "These pokemon on the map mean something. Finding out what they mean could be a big help to getting the treasure." That made sense to them. They all kept moving until Donnie stopped. "According to the map, it should be right here." All of them had a look around, but they saw nothing that resembled a Breloom. "There's nothing here. There has to be."

"Something that's got something to do with Breloom..." Cletus said as he had a look around until he noticed something. "Hang on. This doesn't look right." He walked over to what appeared to be a giant pile of moss, but he was able to rip it off and saw something underneath it. "Help me rip this off!" All of them got to ripping off the moss and could see there was a statue underneath it and it looked like a Breloom. "A Breloom statue! The Breloom on the map must have been this statue!"

"But what's it doing here?" Tetsu questioned.

"It must be here for a reason." Donnie said as he tried to figure it out until he saw one arm pointing in a direction. He matched it with a map and saw something interesting. "Hey! This statue is pointing in the same direction as the Beedrill on the map!"

"Is it? Maybe we should go that way." Davis suggested. It seemed like a good idea, but something happened.

"Shroomish!" All of them spotted a group of Shroomish and looked rather angry. Out of nowhere, they all just started shooting Stun Spore.

"Stun Spore! Run for it!" Donnie called as they all ran in the direction they had to go before they got caught in that stuff. They all kept running and kept running until they felt like they were far enough away.

"What was that about? They attacked us for no reason." Imperialdramon claimed.

"What's even weirder was that those were all Shroomish, the pre-evolved form of Breloom." Cletus said.

"That is weird. We were trying to find something connected to a Breloom and ended up finding those Shroomish." Tetsu said.

"Let's not dwindle on it. We still got a lot of ground to cover." Donnie said as he took a look at the map. "We're heading in the right direction. If there was a Breloom statue right where this Breloom is on the map, I wonder if there are other statues of Beedrill and Honchkrow."

"Only one way to find out." Davis said as they all kept on going to try and find what they needed to find. With Donnie reading the map, they all kept going until they reached the next spot.

"Okay. We're here. There should be something about a Beedrill around here." All of them tried looking around and see something of a Beedrill. Imperialdramon looked up at the trees until he spotted something. He looked up at one and saw a Beedrill statue up on a tree.

"Up there!" Imperialdramon said as they all spotted it.

"It is a Beedrill." Donnie said as he looked over some details. He saw the Beedrill's arms were pointing some where. "Just like before. This Beedrill is pointing in the direction the Honchkrow is on the map. I bet we'll find another statue there and it will point in the direction we should go."

"That's strangely convenient for treasure hunting, but we might as well..." Tetsu was about to go with it, but he noticed something that gave him a good scare.

"Tetsu? What is it?" Davis questioned. All of them looked for what he spotted and they all got scared themselves. They all saw a tree that was covered with Kakuna. It was pretty scary to see.

"Look at all the Kakuna!" Cletus said. "Kakuna evolve into Beedrill! If there's that many, I don't wanna think how many Beedrill there are."

"Me either. Let's get out of here, but be quiet so we don't spook any nearby Beedrill." Donnie said. All of them liked the sound of that and tried moving away quietly, but it didn't go that well as Davis accidently stepped on a stick and broke it. That slight sound alerted the Kakuna and they all started to evolve. That was bad as they all watched in horror and saw a swam of Beedrill coming at them.

"Run!" They all shouted as they all tried running for their lives, but the Beedril were chasing after them and were gaining on them. The Beedrill would have caught them, but Davis intercepted them.

"Galvantula, get out here and use Electro Web!" Davis called as he released Galvantula.

"Galvantula!" Galvantula formed an electric web and used it to block the Beedrill with some of them getting caught in it. That gave them the chance to run out of there. When they all thought they were far enough away from the Beedrill, they all took deep breaths and rested.

"That was a little scary." Tetsu panted. "Donnie, does treasure hunting usually involve sketchy situations like that?"

"Sometimes." Donnie said as he looked over the map. "I've been thinking... The pokemon on the map must be statues, but there must be actual pokemon in those areas that are trying to prevent us from getting to the treasure."

"Makes sense, but why?" Davis said.

"Isn't Anna Bonn's legacy was that she had a way to really connect with pokemon?" Cletus questioned. "Maybe it's got something to do with that. What I find fascinating is that they were Shroomish and Kakuna, the pre-evolve forms of the statues we found."

"Honchkrow is next on the map. That means we just need to find the next statue, but watch out for Murkrow." Tetsu said as it made sense to them, but Donnie had his thoughts on another matter.

"What I find the most concerning is this shadow on the map." Donnie claimed. Knowing what they might be getting themselves into, they all kept on moving and was looking for the next statue. They all made their way to a cliff since that was where they had to go next.

"So, this is where we should find a Honchkrow statue." Cletus said, but there was no statue anywhere.

"I don't see anything." Davis said.

"Keep your eyes open. It's got to be here somewhere." Donnie said. "If we're right, keep an eye open for some Murkrow as well." All of them tried to find the next statue that was suppose to point them towards the treasure. They also needed to be careful of Murkrow, but the Murkrow found them first. A whole flock of them came out from the trees and attacked them. All the Murkrow came at each of them and started pecking away at them.

"We found the Murkrow!" Davis said.

"And they're pretty angry!" Tetsu called as they all tried to endure the pecking, but there was no end of it insight.

"Hey! Knock it off! We didn't do... Wha!" Davis called as he tried moving away from the Murkrow, but they ended up falling off the cliff.

"Enough of that pecking!" Tetsu called as he reached for his pokeball. "Feraligatr, attack with Surf!" Tetsu called.

"Feraligatr!" Feraligatr unleashed a wave that smashed against all the Murkrow and was able to blow all of them away.

"Crazy pokemon." Tetsu complained.

"Hold on." Imperialdramon said as he took a quick look around. "Where's Davis?"

"Down here!" Davis called. All of them hurried to the cliff and could see him hanging off the cliff.

"What are you doing down there?" Tetsu said.

"Hanging for dear life! What does it look like?!" Davis shouted. He did his best to hold on, but he looked to the side and he could see what they were looking for right there. "Hey! I found the statue!" He said as the statue of the Honchkrow was sitting right on the cliff. All of them took a look and spotted it.

"Clever! Someone put the statue on the cliff!" Cletus said.

"And it's beak is pointing in the direction we need to go!" Donnie said as the treasure could be just ahead of them.

"Great! Now get me out of here!" Davis shouted.

The Cove

Once they got Davis off the cliff, they all headed for the direction as to where the treasure should be. Running as fast as they could, they soon arrived at the cover and were amazed to see it. They had a look around and saw the whole place was surrounded by a rock wall.

"The cliff surrounds the whole cover. The water must be flowing in from underneath." Tetsu said as he had a look. He stuck his head right in the water and saw what was underneath. He could see the water flowing in, but there were a bunch of rocks in the way. What's more is that he could see the ship itself under there. However, he didn't see that there was something else down there. "I see now." He claimed as he took his head out. "The entrance to the cove is under water, the space is narrow and tight because of some pillars. That must be why previous sailors couldn't make it. I also saw the ship! It's really down there!"

"Which means the treasure is down there!" Donnie said as they were all rather excited. "All we have to do is dive down and..." There was no time for that as the water erupted and something was emerging out from the water. It ended up being a blue Jellicent

"Jellicent!"

"It's a Jellicent!" Cletus said.

"Jellicent?" Davis said as he pulled out his pokedex.

"Jellicent, the Floating Pokemon. A water and ghost-type, and the evolve form of Frillish. It's body is mostly comprised of water. They hung around sunken ships and make them their lair."

"That shape!" Donnie said as he recognized it. "It's the same shape as the shadow on the map!"

"Jellicent must be guarding the treasure!" Tetsu claimed and he was right. Jellicent attacked them by using Hydro Pump, but they all moved out of the way. "Looks like if we want the treasure, we'll have to get around Jellicent first."

"No problem! Focus Punch, Imperialdramon!" Davis said. Imperialdramon flew at Jellicent and tried attacking it, but Imperialdramon passed right through it.

"That's not going to work, Davis! Jellicent's a ghost-type!" Cletus claimed.

"No worries. I can handle this." Donnie said as he had his own pokemon ready. "This looks like a job for my hunting partner. Stoutland!" He called as he chose his pokemon.

"Stoutland!"

"Stoutland?!" Davis said.

"The evolve form of Herdier!" Cletus said.

"Stoutland's nose is great for finding treasure, and can also do this. Odor Sleuth!" Donnie called. Stoutland took in a deep breath and all kinds of scents were flowing into Stoutland, even from Jellicent.

"Brilliant! That will make ghost-types vulnerable to normal-type attacks!" Tetsu said.

"Great, Stoutland! Now use Thunder Fang!" Donnie called. Stoutland leaped right at Jellicent with electricity coursing through its fangs. Stoutland managed to bite down hard on Jellicent and caused some real damage to it. "Now use Giga Impact!" After jumping away, Stoutland surrounded itself with spiraling energy and smashed right into Jellicent and knocked Jellicent right out. "Go, pokeball!" Donnie decided to try and catch it, so he threw a pokeball at it and it went inside. The ball shook around in the water until it stopped and Jellicent was officially caught. "Yeah! We got us a Jellicent!"

"Wow. Pretty good. You're Stoutland is one tough pokemon." Davis said.

"Now let's get the treasure!" Tetsu said as they were all excited to see the treasure. Using his newly caught Jellicent, they were able to find something from the ship. In Donnie's hands was an actual chest now.

"This is it! Anna Bonn's greatest treasure!" Donnie said.

"Come on! Open it!" Davis said as they were all excited to see the treasure. They all opened it up and it ended up being...a big mess. They weren't even sure what they were looking at. It was covered in algae and whatever else that grows in sea water. It ended up being a total disappointment. "What the heck happened?"

"I guess whatever it was has been under water for too long or something." Donnie figured. "The chest is old and worn-out. Anna Bonn was known for connecting to pokemon, and a lot of people believed the treasure was the reason for it. I guess whatever she did will always be a mystery."

"What a total disappointment. All of that for nothing." Tetsu said.

"Not entirely. That's just how it turns out sometimes." Donnie claimed as he wasn't so disappointed. "Plus, I did get my new Jellicent. That there is a treasure. Like I said before, I do this for fun and adventure rather than money."

"That's true. It's not always about the treasure, and it was fun." Cletus said with Davis and Imperialdramon agreeing.

"Fun? We spent most of the time running for our wellbeing." Tetsu said as he was disappointed.

They say it's the journey, not the destination. Sometimes, we don't always find the great treasure we're looking for. What really matters is the fun and excitement that comes along the way. I'm sure there'll be more of that along the way, as the journey continues.
