"Wow... I have all three. Just look at them." Davis said as he admired all of his passes. He's got three of them and only has one left.

Davis only has one challenge left to clear in Pokemon Grand Orientation. Once he clears it, he will be able to take the head of Pokemon Grand Orientation on in a battle and clear the entire event.

"Hey, you lot. We're gonna have to dock on a nearby island so that I can refuel. There might not be another island for miles." The one steering the boat claimed.

"Sounds like a good idea to me. Where's the nearest island?" Tetsu said.

"That would be that one over there." Cletus said as they could already see an island up ahead. Time to see what adventures are on the island.

(Davis' voice) To The Stars

While they are waiting for the boat to get ready for travel again, they all decided to do some exploring around the island to try and find something fun an exciting to do. However, the island didn't really look that big.

"The island seems rather small. You think there are even any pokemon on this island?" Tetsu said.

"I'm not sure. Nothing really seems to standout." Cletus said. "Anyway, we only need to hang out for a while until the boat is ready for travel again. It probably won't take very long."

"I'm sure there's something fun to do around here. We just need to..." Imperialdramon was trying to assure them that they were going to be okay, but he spotted something that caught his attention. He looked through the woods and it looked like a Solrock as it was trying to perfect it's psychic powers. "Look at that." He said with all of them spotting it.

"Amazing! It's a Solrock!" Cletus said.

"Solrock..." Davis said as he took out his pokedex and learned more about it.

"Solrock, the Meteorite Pokemon. A rock and psychic type. It represents the sun as it is solar powered and can generate intense flames and light."

"Solrock, you can stop now!" All of them took notice that there was someone else there. He was a young man with brown hair and wore a navy skully and wore a red hoodie with beige pants. Solrock stopped what it was doing and just floated there. "You lasted longer than this time. You're getting stronger and stronger. I'm sure we'll make it soon."

"Solrock."

"Hello there." Davis said and that was when they noticed their visitors.

"Hi... Who are you guys?"

"Sorry. We didn't mean to interrupt. We just saw your Solrock and was curious as to what it was doing." Cletus said. "What were you doing?"

"Working on Solrock's psychic powers so it can have the strength it needs to return to where it came from." He claimed, but none of them quite understood what he meant.

...

The Cabin

All of them went back to the cabin of the trainer, but they noticed a large tower with a satellite dish attached to it. Inside the cabin was computers and anything for space, space travel, and whatever could be used to help astronauts.

"Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Alito." He said as he had a seat. "So, you all just stopped on this island until your boat is ready to go again?"

"That's right. We were just doing a little exploring when we spotted Solrock." Davis said.

"You said you were working on Solrock's psychic powers so it can return to where it came from? What does that mean?" Tetsu questioned. "Doesn't Solrock belong to you?"

"Not exactly. Solrock is still a wild pokemon. What I mean is that Solrock came from up there" Alito said as he pointed straight up, but none of them understood. "It all really started a few months ago." He said as he remembered it all well. "One day during the middle of the night, something fell from the sky and crashed on the island. When that happened, I went to check it out and saw Solrock there." He remembered how he went to check out what crashed into the ground and saw Solrock down at the bottom of the crater. "Solrock was hurt, so I took it with me and tried nursing Solrock back to health. Of course, Solrock was pretty weak for a while." Alito apparently has taken good care of Solrock as Solrock was able to regain some strength and floated around. "Once Solrock recovered, it tried to go back to the sky, but didn't have all the strength. It's going to need some of that power to get back up there."

"You mean that Solrock actually came from space?!" Davis said as he was amazed.

"It makes sense. Solrock is called the Meteorite Pokemon." Cletus said. "Some pokemon are believed to have come from space like Lunatone, Solrock's counterpart, and Cleffa."

"So is that what all this stuff is for?" Tetsu asked as he gestured to all the equipment.

"Yeah. I've been studying what I could about space all to help Solrock get back up there." Alito said. "I can tell that Solrock wants to go back up there. Truth be told, I'm not sure if Solrock doesn't have the strength to get back up there or if it's just a little scare. Traveling up to space isn't easy." Hearing this story, Imperialdramon felt rather bad for Solrock. He looked out the window to see Solrock just floating around outside.

"Space travel certainly isn't easy." Cletus said. "Just imagine what humans have to do in order to travel up there."

"So, you're trying to help Solrock increase it's psychic power in order for it to get back all the way up to space." Tetsu said. "Still, that's quite the distance. I'm not sure if any pokemon can really make it." It does seem like a tall order, but it certainly caught Imperialdramon's attention. As for Solrock, it just floated around and just kept its eyes up in the sky thinking about it's home, wherever in space it might be.

"You miss home, don't you?" Solrock turned around and was faced with Imperialdramon. For some reasons, Imperialdramon has taken an interest in Solrock's story. He walked right over and had a seat with Solrock floating next to him. "Alito told us your story. You miss home. Isn't that right?"

"Sol Solrock." Solrock confirmed it was all true.

"But Alito has taken good care of you up until now. It's not so bad to stay here, is it?" Imperialdramon asked.

"Solrock Sol Sol Solrock."

"You're grateful to Alito for all that he's done, but you feel like you belong up there." Imperialdramon translated. "I get it. You're feeling homesick. Truth be told, I know what it's like being in a strange world."

"Solrock?" Solrock wondered what he meant.

"I can't really go into all the details, but I know what it's like." Imperialdramon said. "You're in a world you don't know much about, don't know what to do, and it sometimes it feels like you don't really fit in with all the others around you. Of course, you're lucky to have a friend to help you through all of it. Still, there are times I think about home. I never admitted this because I always felt comfortable around Davis, but sometimes I think about going back. I've been with Davis for so long. Although, my situation is different from yours." That's why Imperialdramon is so interested in this. Bouncing around from the human world and the digimon's world probably could be a little conflicting about home. Then, there's the fact that he's here in this world and there hasn't been a way to return yet. Imperialdramon feels empathy for Solrock. "Bottom line is that I understand how you probably feel, Solrock. So, why don't you try it and fly up there? It's just past the big blue up there."

"Solrock..."

"You're a little scared? Not sure you can make it?" Imperialdramon said. He felt bad for Solrock. Home seems like it's rather close yet still so far for Solrock. He felt like he just simply have to do something.

"Poor Solrock. I feel rather bad for it." Tetsu said as he and the others came out of the cabin.

"When do you think Solrock will be ready?" Cletus said.

"It's hard to say." Alito claimed.

"Well, I wish we could help, but..." Davis was about to explain that this might be beyond what they can do, but he then spotted Imperialdramon holding Solrock. "Imperialdramon? What's going on?"

"I'm taking Solrock home." Imperialdramon said. Then, without a warning, Imperialdramon flew straight up to the sky and took off like a rocket. This was unexpected by the others.

"What's he doing?!" Davis said.

"Taking Solrock home? Does that mean he's flying all the way to the edge of the atmosphere?!" Cletus questioned.

"That's crazy! Can Imperialdramon even fly that high?! Can he even survive something like that?!" Tetsu said.

"I don't know! We've never done it before!" Davis said.

"Quick! In here!" Alito said as they all hurried inside. Alito got to work on a computer and tried to track Imperialdramon thanks to the dish on the large tower. "There." He said as he was able to track Imperialdramon. "He's heading straight up and fast. He's already near the thousand mile mark!"

"Can he really make it all the way and come back?" Tetsu questioned.

"I hope so." Davis said as he's starting to get worried.

...

Imperialdramon

"Don't worry, Solrock! We'll be there in no time and you'll be on your way home!" Imperialdramon said as he was heading straight up and had no chance of stopping. He kept going straight up and it seemed like there was nothing that could stop him.

"Fearow!"

"What the?!" Out of nowhere, a Fearow came at him and attacked, but Imperialdramon kept moving away with it attacking them. "What the heck is with that feathered freak?"

...

The Ground

"Not good. It looks like he's ran into some trouble." Alito said as he pulled out a book and tried to identify it.

"Trouble?! What could be happening up there?!" Davis said.

"This! I think he flew into Fearow territory!" Alito said as he pointed to the book. "Fearow are capable of flying into high altitudes! There might be one up there that is actually attacking!"

"It looks like that's not stopping him! He's still going!" Cletus said as they could see Imperialdramon heading further and further up.

...

Imperialdramon

Imperialdramon kept trying to fly as high as he could, but the Fearow wasn't done with them. It kept chasing after them, but Imperialdramon wasn't going to let it get in the way.

"That does it!" Imperialdramon said. He stopped for a moment as the Fearow got closer. "Take this!" Imperialdramon fired a Dragon Pulse and blasted Fearow right out of the way as it dropped out of the sky. That meant it was clear for them to head straight back up.

...

The Cabin

Imperialdramon seems to keep going and all of them were watching with anticipation and anxiety. Is he going to make it or not? Imperialdramon is close to the edge, but can he even survive the conditions up there?

"He's almost there." Alito said. Out of all of them, Davis was the most worried. He's just hoping his partner can make it back at all now.

...

Imperialdramon

Imperialdramon was actually near the atmosphere's edge. He could actually see the stars and the horizon of the actual planet. However, it was so cold and he was having trouble breathing. Frost began to form over his body and he was moving much slower.

"Almost there..." Imperialdramon said as he was doing his best to keep himself together. It was impressive he was even able to make it this far. However, can his body really make it back? Solrock needed to make sure that happened.

"Sol Solrock Solrock!"

"I can let you go here?" Imperialdramon said. "You really think you can make it?" Solrock confirmed that it could, but wondered why Imperialdramon did this. "I told you... I did it because I understand. Time to go home..." He released Solrock and Solrock began float into space once again. However, Imperialdramon appeared to be falling instead of floating. It would seem that Imperialdramon might not make it. "Go, Solrock..." He was glad he helped out Solrock, but something happened before they parted ways as Solrock unleashed some kind of light around Imperialdramon.

...

The Cabin

Davis ran out of the cabin and searched around for Imperialdramon, hoping and praying that he was able to make it and is on his way down. However, the others are a little worried.

"Come on! He made it up there, didn't he?!" Davis said. "Where is?!" All of them were worried he didn't make it, but Davis is hoping that he did by some miracle and is hoping he's on his way back now. The others weren't confident until Alito looked up and saw some sort of sparkle.

"There!" Alito said as he pointed straight up at it and they could all see it. The light was coming down at them and they all believed that was him. "That isn't good! He's coming in too hot!" It wasn't looking that good. They all hoped he would pull up, but they saw him come down like a meteor and crash somewhere on the island.

"Imperialdramon!" Davis called as that didn't sound good at all. They all hurried as fast as they could to where he crashed. They kept running until they found the spot and could see him with his back against the ground. "Imperialdramon!" Davis called out of fear of what happened to him. "Talk to me! Tell me you're okay!" It didn't look good, but they got lucky when they heard him cough.

"Yeah... I'm good." Imperialdramon said with all of them amazed. It was some sort of miracle. "Wow... It was beautiful up there..."

"Don't scare me like that again! Don't do something that crazy ever again!" Davis said.

"I'm amazed you're still in one piece! How did you do it?!" Cletus questioned.

"It was Solrock... Just as we separated, Solrock used some sort of psychic power to help me get back." Imperialdramon said.

"What happened to Solrock?" Alito asked.

"Solrock is on its way home." Imperialdramon said as they all looked up to the sky and feel happy for Solrock that it's able to return home. There's nothing like the feeling of returning home.

It's hard to be away from home, but there's always a way back. Thanks to Imperialdramon, Solrock is on its way home. Maybe a time will come where Imperialdramon and Davis will be able to return home as well. Until then, their journey continues on.
