"I really have it! I really have all four!" Davis said as he admired his four passes. "All that's left is to take on this Michelle and I'll have beaten Pokemon Grand Orientation."

Our heroes are on their way once again as Davis has managed to obtain all four Gem Passes. Now that he has, they are on their way to Gallant Island so that he can take on the head of this fun event and clear it all.

"Eugene told us that this Michelle has a legendary pokemon on her side. I wonder what kind of legendary pokemon it is." Tetsu said as he thought about it. "Maybe a Moltress or Entei?"

"It is rather exciting to think about. You don't see many trainers that have actually managed to catch a legendary pokemon." Cletus said.

"It doesn't matter what kind of pokemon she has. I'm gonna win in it in the end." Davis said as he was rather confident.

"You better believe it!" Imperialdramon said. That was when they heard the sound of a whistle going off from down the street. They all looked and saw Officer Jenny was chasing someone who looks like they stole something in a large bag.

"Looks like trouble!" Tetsu said.

"Then, let's lend a hand!" Davis said as he got one of his pokemon. "Growlith, take that thief with Flame Charge!"

"Growlithe!" Growlithe came out and tackled the thief and held him down.

"Good work, Growlithe." Davis said. It looked he did something rather well, but that was when they found themselves surrounded by a bunch of other dog-like pokemon. One that really stood out was another Growlithe that was a different color from normal Growlithe.

"Hold it!" Officer Jenny called. "Just what do you think you're doing?!"

"Uh... Stopping a bad guy?" Davis said as it seems like he might have done something wrong.

So you want to be Master of Pokemon

Do you have the skills to be Number One

I wanna take the ultimate step

Find the courage to be bold

To risk it all and not forget the lessons that I hold

I wanna go where no one's been

Far beyond the crowd

Learn the way to take command

Use the power that's in my hand

Hey

I wanna be the greatest master of them all

We all live in a pokemon world

Put myself to the test

Be better than all the rest

Do you have the skills to be Number One

We all live in a pokemon world

I wanna be the greatest master of them all

Got the power right in your hands

(Davis' voice) Call of the Action

It would seem that there was a misunderstanding as Officer Jenny was upset with Davis for helping. That's why they were all brought down to the police station. However, it seems that they were in trouble for trying to help.

"That wasn't a real thief?" Davis said. "The whole thing was nothing more than a training session?"

"That's right. Here, we train pokemon to aid fellow officers in situations." Officer Jenny said. "The man you tackled was a fellow police officer. The point of the training session was to help teach our pokemon how to handle situations like that."

"We're really sorry we interfered." Cletus said.

"We? Davis was the one who acted without thinking." Tetsu said as he tried to avoid blame.

"I was only trying to help." Davis said.

"Don't get the wrong idea. It's great that you wanted to help, but if that was a real criminal situation?" Officer Jenny said. "You placed your Growlithe, or really any of your pokemon, in danger when you interfere like that. As brave and noble as your intentions are, sending a pokemon against an armed opponent without the proper training can be very dangerous. One mistake is all it takes for you or your pokemon to get seriously hurt."

"She's got a point, Davis. That's why you need to think before you act." Tetsu said.

"Maybe, but I'm not really the type to stand around and do nothing." Davis said. "Besides, Growlithe handled things just fine. Isn't that right, Growlithe?" He asked, but it looks like Growlithe seemed a little interested in the obstacle course that some of the other pokemon are going through. "Check it out. It looks like Growlithe is thinking about joining the force." He joked. "Is it okay if Growlithe tries out the obstacle course?"

"I suppose so. Your Growlithe did act quickly and responded rather well in that situation." Officer Jenny claimed.

"Go on, Growlithe. Go check it out." Davis said. Growlithe liked the sound of that and ran straight on the course. It actually went to the oddly colored Growlithe. Davis' Growlithe tried being friendly, but Jenny's Growlithe just kicked some dirt in its face. "That wasn't very nice."

"Sorry about that. That Growlithe there is our top contender, but it's a little prideful." Officer Jenny said. That was when her Growlithe started running the course.

"Grolwithe, don't back down to it! Show that Growlithe you are just as tough!" Davis encouraged. His Growlithe understood and tried running on the field and tried keeping up with Jenny's. When her Growlithe notice trying to catch it, her Growlithe tried moving a little faster. Davis' Growlithe didn't want to be outdone and tried running a little faster. Both Growlithe kept trying to outdo the other and it soon turned into a race.

"Oh boy. You might want to look at this." Imperialdramon said as they saw the race going on. Both Growlithe were running as fast as they could until the obstacles came. First, they had to jump over some pillars. That's just what they did as they jumped over a pillar to another and were landing perfectly. However, Jenny's Growlithe was moving faster and pulled out ahead with Davis' falling behind.

"Come on, Growlithe!" Davis cheered.

"Which Growlithe?" Imperialdramon questioned.

"Mine, of course!" Davis said.

"Shouldn't we do something?" Tetsu questioned.

"It's just a harmless race. Let's see how this turns out." Cletus said. The next obstacle was a balance beam for both of them. Both of them tried to make their way over the beams while moving fast yet keeping their balance. That was a little difficult for Davis' Growlithe, but was able to pull through and the two of them kept going. The last obstacle was a jungle gym. They had to make their way through it, try to slip through every twist and turn there is.

"Hmm..." Seeing this had Jenny think of something. Soon, both of them came out, but it was Jenny's Growlithe that came out first and was the one that finished first. The look it gave Davis' Growlithe practically said it was smug and told Growlithe to know it's place.

"It's okay, Growlithe." Davis said as he went over to his and petted his Growlithe.

"That actually was pretty good." Officer Jenny said. "Your Growlithe had a pretty good time for it being it's first time on the obstacle course. Your Growlithe would make a good addition to the force with a little more training." That sounds like something to be proud of. It's not everyday you find someone that is cutout for police work just like that. That was right when Officer Jenny was getting an alert on his phone. "Yes? This is Jenny." She said as she answered it. "What?! I'll be right there!"

"What's going on?" Cletus questioned.

"Trouble down at small business. Someone is threating to detonate a bomb." Officer Jenny said and that sounded horrible. Officer Jenny pulled out a whistle and used it to alert her pokemon. "Let's move! We have a situation!" She called as she and her pokemon hurried to the scene.

"We should go too." Davis said.

"Are you serious?! That could be dangerous!" Tetsu said.

"I've dealt with worse." Davis said as he, Imperialdramon, and Growlithe ran off.

"He dealt with worse? What exactly does that mean?" Tetsu questioned as something like that gave both of them a good scare.

...

Downtown

A lot of people gathered around a small business with news media and police forces stationed outside, but also had to stay back since there's the threat of a bomb inside the building. Officer Jenny and her pokemon showed up to try and get a handle of the situation with Davis and the others following in.

"What's the situation?" Officer Jenny asked.

"There's only one of them, but he's got a bomb strapped to him. There are at least ten hostages inside." A fellow officer reported. Officer Jenny stepped in as she took a bullhorn.

"This is the police! Come out with your hands up and let the hostages go!" Officer Jenny called. That was when someone threw a chair out the window.

"If you want the hostages to go free, give me ten million dollars with a boat for me to leave this island on! Don't even think about putting some kind of tracker on it!"

"We've got to do something." Davis said as he was ready to jump into action, but Tetsu grabbed his arm and stopped him from doing anything.

"No way. You're out of your mind this time, Davis." Tetsu said. "This situation is too dangerous. Let's just leave this to Officer Jenny."

"Tetsu is right. She and her pokemon are trained for this." Cletus said. "I know you're not one for standing around and doing nothing, but there's not much we can do without putting so many at risk." Davis hated this, but there has to be something they can do. Davis' Growlithe felt the same way and might have found a way to get inside.

"Growl..." Growlithe went to check it out, but Officer Jenny's Growlithe spotted it and went after it. Davis' Growlith saw a way it can get in through the ventilation. It took off the vent and made it's way through the shaft. Growlithe made it's way through the shaft of the building until Growlithe came across the room the hostages were being held in with the criminal having the bomb strapped to him.

"Growlithe!" Davis' Growlithe turned around and saw Jenny's Growlithe chased after it. The police pokemon was trying to convince Growlithe to turn back, but Growlithe might already have a way to handle the situation. It spotted another vent at the floor and they might be able to use it. They just need to work together and make this work. Although Officer Jenny's Growlithe is a little full of itself, it does take it's police responsibilities serious.

"They better get me my money...for everyone's sake." The criminal complained as he was getting restless. He seemed ready to activate the bomb. As for Growlithe, he was able to quietly get the vent open and made it's way inside.

"Growlithe..." The criminal took a look and saw Growlithe and it looked hurt, scared, and tried giving puppy-eyes.

"What the heck? What are you doing in here? Where did you come from?" The criminal asked as he moved a little closer until he realized what he was looking at. "Hold on! You're a Growlithe and Officer Jenny uses a Growlithe!" That was when Jenny's Growlithe came out and they both attacked. Meanwhile, everyone just waited outside for something.

"This is nuts. We can't just stand here. Maybe we could..." Davis was about to suggest an idea until he noticed his Growlithe was missing. "Where did Growlithe go?!" Suddenly, they all heard screaming coming from in the building.

"What's going on in there?!" Jenny called as they were all worried. That was when they heard Growlithe barking. When they heard that, the police came rushing in and saw that both of the Growlithe were actually able to handle the situation.

"Growlithe!" Davis called as he rushed over to his. "Don't scare me like that!"

"Those Growlithe saved our lives! They're heroes!" One of the hostages claimed as they were right. Those Growlithe saved them.

...

The Police Station

"And so, I would like to reward this medal to your Growlithe for its bravery." Officer Jenny said as Davis' Growlithe was rewarded with a medal. "What it did was very brave. Your Growlithe would make an excellent member of the force."

"Growlithe certainly is a great pokemon." Davis said as he was real proud of his Growlithe. Even Officer Jenny's Growlithe is most impressed with Davis' as the two of them were acting like they were good friends now. Stopping a criminal together might do that.

"Normally, you should leave situations like that to the police, but it is good to know there are brave pokemon like this one here." Officer Jenny said as she petted Davis' Growlithe. Growlithe was feeling real good about itself now. It's an inspiration to know there are others out there willing to fight the good fight despite not being police.

Growlithe has proven that one doesn't need to be a police officer to help make a difference. All it takes is a simple act of bravery, as well as a little teamwork. Anyone can really do that. There might be more of that down the road...as the journey continues.
