The time has finally come for Davis to have his battle against the head of Pokemon Grand Orientation: Michelle. He's decided that he wants to use the first team of pokemon he ever made. That includes Imperialdramon, Zangoose, Houndoom, Swellow, Gastrodon, and Absol. It will be a full battle. We'll see if Davis has what it takes to win Pokemon Grand Orientation or if all of it ended up being for nothing.

(Davis' voice) Battles of Remembrance
The first field of the first half of the battle was emerging and it ended up being a regular dirt field.
"It would seem that the first half of this battle is going to be on a dirt field. This battle is going to be a full six-on-six battle where substitution will be allowed. Once one side loses three pokemon, we will take a short intermission and the field will change. Now, we await to see what pokemon our two trainers will be using." Both of them stood on their respective sides and were ready to start battling.
"Here we go, Davis. Time to see what you're really capable of." Michelle said. "I'm sure you're itching to battle Cobalion, but you'll have to get through my other pokemon first. Let's see how you handle this little cutie. Let's go!" She called out her first pokemon and it ended up being Ditto.
"Ditto!"
"Michelle chose her first pokemon with it being Ditto, the pokemon that can copy any other pokemon."
"A Ditto?" Tetsu questioned.
"It might be a little tough." Cletus said. "Ditto is capable of copying any pokemon and their abilities. It won't matter who Davis chooses, especially if he loses the first battle. Ditto will just copy anything he choses."
"This might seem tough, but it won't stop us. Imperialdramon, let's do this." Davis said.
"Right. I can handle that wad of chewing gum." Imperialdramon said as he went out for the first battle.
"Davis is going with the mysterious and very rare Imperialdramon."
"Starting with a pokemon I know little about. Not a bad idea, but I came prepared." Michelle said as she pulled out her own pokedex. "Ditto, Transform!"
"Ditto!" Ditto transformed and completely changed with it looking just like Imperialdramon. With that done, Michelle used her pokedex to learn what kind of attacks Imperialdramon can even use.
"He certainly knows some interesting attacks. Now, let's see what they're really like." Michelle said as she was ready for a battle.
"A copycat is not match for the real thing! Imperialdramon, give them your Dragon Pulse and show them what I mean!" Davis ordered.
"You use Dragon Pulse as well!" Michelle called. Both of them used their same attacks and they ended up clashing and cancelling each other out. "Now let's try your Focus Punch!"
"You use Focus Punch too!" Davis called. Both of them used the same attacks once again. They matched each other as they collided their fists against each other and tried to push the other back.
"Now use Draon Pulse!" Michelle called. Ditto was able to attack this time as it blasted Imperialdramon and blasted him against the ground.
"Ouch! The two of them seemed even at first, but it looks like Ditto has broken the tie and has dealt some real damage."
"I see... So Imperialdramon is a dragon-type. That means Dragon Pulse and Dragon Rush will be most helpful against us." Michelle said as she learned more about Imperialdramon.
"I said a copy can't beat the original and I mean it!" Davis said. "Give them another Focus Punch, and keep them going!"
"You got it!" Imperialdramon said as he gathered energy in both of his fists.
"Copy them and use Focus Punch!" Michelle called as Ditto copied Imperialdramon's movements once again. The two of them flew at each other and kept throwing one punch after another at each other. It was like a fist barrage as both sides at each other. Soon, the two of them collided their fists once again and tried to push the other back.
"Not...this...time!" Imperialdramon said as he put in more power and was able to push back harder and scored a hit.
"That's the way! Now use Dragon Rush!" Davis called. Imperialdramon ignited itself in dragon energy and smashed himself against Ditto and smashed Ditto right into the ground. When that happened, Ditto transformed back to normal and was knocked out of the battle.
"Ditto is unable to battle! Imperialdramon is the winner!" The ref called.
"How about that! Ditto usually causes some trouble for trainers, but it looks like Davis was able to beat it in the first battle!"
"Awesome! I thought they were in trouble when that Dragon Pulse hit! How did they beat that struggle?!" Tetsu questioned.
"Ditto might be able to copy a pokemon's abilities and attacks, but it can't copy one's physical capabilities." Cletus claimed. "Imperialdramon is just simply physically stronger than Ditto."
"Not bad." Michelle said as she brought Ditto back to it's pokeball. "Didn't think I would lose my first pokemon already. A promising start for someone who will provide a real challenge." Michelle was already getting a little excited about this as she reached for her next pokemon. "Swalot, you're up!"
"Swalot!"
"Swalot is now Michelle's second pokemon."
"Swalot is a poison-type, but I'm sure it's got some strong defense." Cletus said as this might be more challenging.
"Imperialdramon, come back for now. I want to give one of the others a chance." Davis said. Imperialdramon agreed and went back to Davis. "I know who to use here. Gastrodon, I choose you!"
"Gastrodon!"
"Davis switches out his pokemon and is now using Gastrodon. Ground-types are strong against poison-types, but will it be enough?"
"Let's see how strong your bonds are now. Swalot, Sludge Bomb!" Michelle called.
"Counter with Mud Bomb!" Davis called. Both of their pokemon used their attacks and they ended up blasting against each other and cancelled each other out. "Now use Water Pulse!" Gastrodon formed a ball of water and shot it straight at Swalot.
"Now use Stockpile!" Michelle called. Swalot inflated like a balloon and was able to block the attack of Water Pulse.
"Stockpile is an attack that raises special defense power. It looks like she used it to block that Water Pulse. It's going to make attacks a little harder to deal damage."
"Stockpile could be a bigger problem than that." Cletus said.
"Why's that?" Tetsu questioned.
"Two other attacks go with Stock Pile. One is for recovery, the other is for attacking." Cletus said. "The more Stockpile is used, the more powerful those attacks could be. Davis, you need to be careful! Watch how many times Stockpile is used!
"That won't stop us! Swalot can still take damage! Now use Mud Bomb!" Davis called. Gastrodon kept the battle going as it attacked once again.
"Jump and use Body Slam!" Michelle called. Swalot jumped high in the air with Mud Bomb missing. It was impressive something that large could jump that high. Swalot came straight down and crushed against Gastrodon. Not only did it deal damage, but Swalot had Gastrodon pinned down and couldn't really move.
"Not good for Gastrodon. Swalot has Gastrodon trapped and it doesn't look like Gastrodon can get out of there."
"Come on! Shake it off!" Davis called. Gastrodon kept trying to shake Swalot off, but Swalot was just too big and heavy for Gastrodon to move around so much.
"It's no good. Swalot's too big for Gastrodon to shake off." Cletus said.
"He better think of something and fast. Gastrodon is an easy target like that." Tetsu said.
"So what are you going to do now?" Michelle taunted as Swalot was pressing down on Gastrodon. It wasn't looking good for Gastrodon, but Davis wasn't going to give up on Gastrodon. He always believed in Gastrodon from all the battles they had together.
'Gastrodon, you were always a loyal pokemon.' Davis thought as he remembered all the times they had together. 'I gave you a home and friends. You never had any doubt how much I cared for you and for the others. For that, you battled as best as you could.' "That's why I know you can win this! Gastrodon, Blizzard!" Gastrodon was able to turn its head and blasted Swalot with an intense blast of cold wind and was able to knock Swalot right off.
"Gastrodon is free! Getting hit by a point-blank Blizzard had to have done some real damage!"
"Not bad. That would have been a tough position to get out of, but Davis trusted Gastrodon and was able to get out of there." Michelle said as she was most impressed. "Swalot, battle back by using Sludge Bomb!"
"Dodge it!" Davis called. Swalot tried blasting Gastrodon with sludge, but Gastrodon was able to jump out of the way. "Now use Mud Bomb!" Gastrodon fired blasts of mud and they all blasted against Swalot with some real damage being dealt that it knocked out Swalot.
"Swalot is unable to battle! Gastrodon is the winner!" The ref called.
"It's two for two for Davis! He manages to take down her second pokemon without losing any of his!"
"Yeah! Nice shot, Gastrodon! I knew you had it in you!" Davis cheered with Gastrodon feeling rather good about itself.
"Not bad, Davis!" Michelle called as she brought Swalot back to its pokeball. "You did rather good. It's been a while since someone has been able to beat two of my pokemon in a row, but this third one might be a little difficult. Mismagius, you're up!"
"Mismagius!"
"Michelle is now going with the ghost-type, Mismagius, as her next pokemon."
"A ghost-type could be a little tricky." Cletus said.
"True, but Gastrodon's attacks all look powerful and effective. I don't think there's much to worry about with this one." Tetsu said.
"Let's win this one! Gastrodon, Water Pulse!" Davis called.
"Magical Leaf!" Michelle called as Mismagius countered.
"Did she just say Magical Leaf?!" Cletus said as they all know what that meant. Gastrodon attacked by launching the Water Pulse, but Mismagius unleashed leaves made of magic energy. Not only did it slice right through the attack, but it blasted against Gastrodon and was dealing major damage.
"Magical Leaf hits! That deals tons of damage against a pokemon like Gastrodon!"
"Mismagius knows Magical Leaf?! That's a problem!" Davis said as he knew he had to get Gastrodon out of there. "Gastrodon, return!" He called and was able to get Gastrodon back to its pokeball before even more damage could be dealt. "I'm going to need speed and flight for this one. Swellow, I choose you!"
"Swellow!"
"Davis goes with Swellow as his third pokemon. We'll see if that fierce flyer can handle this ghost."
"Swellow, Steel Wing!" Davis called. Swellow hardened its wings and flew straight towards Mismagius, but Michelle was ready for it.
"Psywave!" Michelle called. Mismagius unleashed a psychic wave and used it to block Swellow's attack. "Now use Charge Beam!" Mismagius gathered electrical power and fired a powerful beam and blasted Swellow with a lot of damage being dealt. "Now use Magical Leaf!" Mismagius unleashed another attack and blasted Swellow with Swellow taking even more damage.
"Swellow has taken three attacks in a row, but it looks like it's still holding on. Just how much longer can Swellow do that?"
"I think I'm winning this battle this time. Mismagius, Charge Beam once more!" Michelle called.
"Not this time! Aerial Ace!" Davis called. Swellow was able to attack faster than Mismagius with incredible speed and swooped against Mismagius.
"Not bad, but not good enough. Magical Leaf!" Michelle called. Mismagius tried attacking Swellow again, but Swellow kept flying around and avoided each attack that was thrown. Seeing Swellow battle like this had Davis think about what they've been through as well.
'Swellow, you were the very first pokemon I caught from when you were a Tailow.' Davis thought as he thought back to how Swellow was always a help. 'When that happened, you became a reliable and fierce pokemon. If anyone can do this, I know it's you.' "Swellow, Aerial Ace once more!" Swellow flew around and tried to get it's attack ready once again and headed straight for Swellow.
"Now use Charge Beam!" Michelle called. Mismagius got the attack ready and was able to blast Swellow with the attack.
"Don't give up, Swellow! You can do it!" Davis called. Swellow tried to push through the attack and was able to smash into Mismagius. When that happened, a large explosion went off that both pokemon got caught in it.
"Oh my! A fierce explosion has erupted in the battlefield! That looks bad for either pokemon!"
"Swellow!" Davis called.
"Mismagius!" Michelle called as both trainers were worried on what happened to their pokemon.
Davis' battle against Michelle has started out well for him, but that could quickly change. Which pokemon will be the one that emerges out of this battle? Will it be Swellow or Mismagius? Stay tune to find out.
