Here we go Part 2 of the Traverse Town world memory

Memory of the Town Part 2
As if this castle couldn't get stranger, Emerl just encountered Qrow and Oscar here as well, or maybe they were just memory versions of them. But they seemed to not recognize but remember him and the other names.
In any case Qrow taught Emerl and J some useful fighting tips with the cards and they were on the way to the hideout but stop by a door.
"The Heartless will be out in droves and won't make it easy on us." Qrow told them "Use what I taught you and you will be fine"
"Right" Emerl said nodding and goes though, it might be just a memory, but it seems the streets are weirdly disjointed and different.
The three move through the streets fighting off Heartless as they came, eventually made it to the hideout, using a special gold card they were allowed in where the others were
"Took you guys long enough." Lilac said sarcastically
"Sorry, we had some pests to deal with" J told them
"The Heartless, and here I thought after defeating Vader we would be rid of them" Togami said shaking his head
"We will just have to play it smart but do it right we can handle them" Doom said nodding
"Sounds like the ideal plan" Hiro said in agreement
The group look to the Traverse Town group and see Blake there was with them
"Blake, tell me have you forgotten me too?" Emerl asked the Faunus girl
"If I am being honest, it hard to pick between 'nice to meet you' or 'it's good to see you again'" Blake said sighing "I am not sure I know you, but I still feel you belong here."
"Yeah, I feel the same way" Ruby said nodding "It's like we never met, but somehow I know your names"
"It isn't crazy at all; we have all met before." Lilac said "We fought against the Heartless here in Traverse Town and other worlds."
"We were all a team!" Hiro added
"I am not sure but…. I feel like I believe them" Qrow said "But I can't remember."
"Then I guess you don't remember what you said to Emerl" Doom said "In Hollow Bastion when he sealed the Keyhole"
"I know I will not forget." Emerl said "We might never meet again…"
"…but we'll never forget each other." Qrow finished
"You do remember!" Hiro points out
"Yeah, that does sound like something Qrow would say Oscar said nodding "But I do recall you saying it as well"
"I guess all that means this is no coincidence then." Qrow said arms folded
"Blake, you got any idea on what is happening?" Ruby asked
"It's only a theory but I might have some idea." Blake said thinking "I don't have any memory of it, but I still can remember. It might be Emerl's heart's doing that we are remembering."
"His heart? How is that possible?" J asked
"It's the best I can come up with given the evidence." Blake said "We don't any of you who say you do know us, but Emerl's heart is full of memories of us. Those memories are resonating in our own hearts, too. Maybe they're telling us things we couldn't possibly know."
"So, in short, you're thinking Emerl's memories are affecting our own memories." Qrow said
"His memories seem to have a certain kind of power." Blake said nodding "Maybe memories are connected to the heart as well."
"Perhaps it is like what Marr said." J said thinking "This place is just an illusion, created from Emerl's memories
"So, does that mean none of us are real?" Oscar asked
"Afraid so kid" Doom said shaking his head
"Also…. there's someone special to you in this town?" Blake said cautiously
"Wait! How did…" Emerl said and then thinks and gets it "Oh, I get it, my memories are resonating with yours and telling you what happened. It's true, a friend of mine and someone else are somewhere in this town-…I mean Castle Oblivion."
"Castle Oblivion? What's that?" Ruby asked confused "I checked all over this town and there aren't any castles here."
"I didn't really mean that" Emerl said
"You are still unsure what's going on yourself, right?" Blake said "and your female robot friend is unable to tell you herself"
"Yeah, that is true." J said nodding
"We have only just got here." Emerl points out "Maybe it would be best if you and me look around for answers J."
"Then you should go and walk around town." Qrow said with a nod "The Heartless will be out in force, but shouldn't be a problem for you both."
"Heh, so you do know I can fight." Emerl said smugly
"I guess I can't say that I do not see it. But let's leave it at that" Qrow said with a chuckle
Before heading out Emerl worked on his deck adding in new attack cards and even added a new blizzard spell card and the All-Might card to it.
"I wonder, if the All-Might card is like the summon gems I used to have." Emerl said thinking
"I think that will be the case but I think you can summon them freely to aid for the battle then they leave." J said with a thought
"That will be useful" Emerl said smiling
The two head out and began exploring the third district area and got into a fight with some Heartless which they handle easily, during one of these fights Emerl used the All-Might card and found himself transformed into All-Might to do one of his smash attacks which unleashed a shockwave eliminating the enemies before he returned to normal
"Well…different what I thought it would be" J said surprised
"Yeah, but cool though." Emerl said smiling
"I guess I can't argue with the result" J said in agreement
The two with aid from the others when summoned fought throught the Heartless and came to a door which Emerl used a Key of Truth card he acquired to open it and they found themselves in a familiar district
"The second district" Emerl said smiling
"This was where the Keyhole was if my memory is correct" Togami said
"Yeah, no doubt, make sense we end up in this area again" Doom said nodding
The six then look and see two figures, it was Yusai and Akisa, the group minus J run up to them, J confused followed them
Yusai and Akisa turn around and the former said "Well, well if it isn't Emerl"
"Wait do you know them Yusai?" Akisa asked confused
"Now that you mention it…I don't" Yusai said confused "But you do look like an Emerl being a Gizoid robot."
"It is alright, Emerl is his name Yusai and Akisa" Lilac said giggling
"So, you know our names too, I see" Akisa said surprised
"Though I think that won't be much of a surprise, we own the only accessary shop here since coming here" Yusai said
"Anyway, perhaps you can help us out." Emerl said "A friend of mine's supposed to be somewhere in this castle-…I mean town. Have any ideas on that?"
"Your friend? I am sorry but not sure how we can help." Akisa said shaking her head
"The only people you find here lately are the Heartless." Yusai explained "Can't even take two steps out your home without being ambushed."
"Are things really that bad?" Hiro asked
"Yeah, in fact the plaza is the worst to be in" Yusai said nodding
"The word is a particularly large Heartless shows up when the bell on the Gizmo shop rings." Akisa explained "If you value your safety I suggest getting out of here while it's good."
With that the two leave to get to safety
"Huh, maybe it will be best if we get out of here" Doom said "This is just a memory so not like anyone is in any real danger"
"But don't you want to see the Heartless?" Emerl asked
"I rather avoid fighting a nasty one with the handicap we were given." Lilac said
"Wait…I am getting something" J said holding her head as date files replace her eyes "Apparently until we beat the darkness boss of this memory, we will be unable to leave"
Just then the bell rings and everyone looks around
"The bell!" Lilac said, "I guess we will be facing this Heartless after all."
"Through I think I know which Heartless they were referring too." Togami said "It was before you both joined us Doom and Lilac but there is one giant Heartless related to the memory of Traverse Town that comes to mind!"
Just then from the sky comes purple armour pieces that land on the ground and then assemble into a body, a head follows making a living suit of armour with the Heartless Emblem on its torso and it was very familiar to Emerl, Togami and Hiro
"The Guard Armor!" The three who knew it said
And the fight begins with Doom, Hiro, Togami and Lilac going back to their cards. The Guard Armor moves in and attacks
"How do we beat this thing?!" J asked as she flies up to avoid a swing from one of its hands
"Destroy the hands and feet then focus on the torso" Emerl said recalling how he beat this thing last time
Emerl and J attack and dodge the Guard Armor as it move and attempts to use it's limbs to attack them, it seemed like this version didn't separate it's parts to cover the field which made it easier for the both of them. Emerl manages to knock it enough it falls apart, then summons Doom who uses his blaster pistols to destroy one of the arms
"Out of the way Emerl!" J said with a toothy grin as her eyes were replaced with a yellow symbol and her hands were now gatling guns
"Oh geez!" Emerl said and jumps out of the way
J open fires at the Guard Armor which results in the destruction of it's remaining hand and it's left foot "Oh I know I am amazing" J said and pants as a red ! appears on her eye screen, she stops shooting "K-Keep going…I need to cool down" She groaned
"On it" Emerl said nodding and moves in and strikes destroying the remaining foot
The Guard Armor attempts to use the cyclone ability to knock them back. Emerl struggled to keep his footing and draws the All-Might card and plays it and punches right into the torso of the Guard Armor finishing it off.
Just like how Emerl remembered it last time, the Guard Armor shakes a bit, then the helmet falls to the ground and a heart leaves it's torso and up into the night sky and it fades away and the body fades away.
However a black card appears and goes to Emerl who takes it, on the cover of it was an image of the Guard Armor on it
"Wow…what is this?" Emerl asked
"I think it's an enemy card" J said having a can of oil and sipping it to cool down "I guess if you beat the bosses you get one"
"Well, I think it might come in handy" Emerl said and slips it into his card holder
A while later his friends reappear and the Traverse Town gang showed up. Emerl informs them on what happened and the fight with the Guard Armor
"So, wait, does that mean your friend wasn't here?" Ruby asked
"No and I think we searched all over" Lilac said thinking
"Yeah, I am thinking we won't find him here." Emerl said in agreement "But I know he is somewhere in this castle. I just feel it."
"Castle? You mean to say this whole town is just inside a giant castle?" Akisa asked
"That is so ridiculous to hear" Yusai said
"Now hang on Yusai, he might be onto something" Oscar said
"Indeed, we don't know fully what's going on, but Emerl might" Qrow said in agreement "He can see that reality is bigger than just this world."
"Honestly, I wish I was that sure." Emerl admits
"Yeah, same we just slowly figuring it out as we go" J said nodding
"You'll be okay. No matter what shape reality takes, all of you can handle it." Qrow said
"Yeah, I may not remember you all, but I know majority of you in my heart" Oscar said smiling
"Qrow…." Emerl said
"Oscar…" Lilac said smiling
"Take care you guys" Ruby said waving
"I may not understand what's going on…but good luck" Yusai said
"I am sure the others will explain it to us" Akisa said to him
With that the Traverse Town Gang begin to leave heading for the First District.
"We should get going too, that door should be unlocked now, right?" Doom said
"Yeah, I believe now that the Darkness boss was destroyed it should open." J said nodding
"Then lets go" Togami said as he, Hiro, Doom and Lilac head for the exit
Emerl and J were about to follow when Blake returned and Emerl noticed saying "Something up Blake?"
"I am usually not the one with all the answers but…I had to tell you something" Blake said "Is it true that your memories created this town, Emerl?"
"Yeah, that is what Marr told me when he gave me that card." Emerl said nodding
"I can confirm that to be true." J said nodding
"If that is true, then this town is just a figment of your mind….as are we." Blake said thinking
"But that can't be true!" Emerl said in denial "You're standing right here in front of me. Along with this town!"
"But I am not the real me." Blake explained "I don't remember the things I should know. And I can sense things I shouldn't be able too."
"I think she is tell the truth Emerl" J said "All we saw is too much of a coincidence, this town, the Heartless, your friends heck even that giant one were all things stemming from your memories"
"I…I guess…gah this is confusing." Emerl said sighing
"Emerl listen to me." Blake said "Beware your memories. In the jonorney to come you will come face to face with more illusions. Sometimes the shadows of your memory might try to deceive you and lead you astray."
"Okay…what does that suppose to mean?" Emerl asked
"I'm sorry. I can't answer that" Blake said shaking her head "Because I am just another illusion so the truth of my words are out of my reach."
"Geez aren't you the mood killer" J said sarcastically "Don't say things like that it is depressing."
"Stay strong you two." Blake said to them "Don't let the illusions distract you from what's truly important"
"Alright then…" Emerl said concerned
"Emerl! J!" Hiro is heard calling out
"You both ready to go?" Doom said
"Sure, we'll be right then" Emerl said as he and J look at them "Well best be going" He said to Blake only to see she was gone "Blake?"
"What about Blake?" Togami asked
"She was just here, we were just talking to her" J said concerned "Now she's gone and ninja'd us."
"But Blake left with Qrow, Oscar and the others remember?" Lilac points out
"Wait, what?" Emerl asked confused did they not see Blake
"You were both standing there doing nothing." Doom explained "Had us all worried"
"That is odd." J said freaked out
"You think this is what she meant by…?" Emerl asked J
"I think so…we should get moving" J said
With that concerning moment over the group of six head for the exit doorway, wondering what else Castle Oblivion had in store for them.
With that Traverse Town is done. So you know for the Boss Cards I will be doing somthing special to how they're formed in the future ones, you will see later
