The World of Toa Part 2
We come to our heroes who managed to clear out the Heartless who came in waves even allied with Air Soldier Heartless but Emerl and J were able to keep it level and use their ally cards effectively well
Soon the area was clear of Heartless and the group stayed on guard as they put their weapons away
"See, we didn't need Takanuva this time." Emerl told Tahu smiling.
"Thanks Emerl, just wished this whole thing didn't take a toll on him though." Tahu said with with a sigh.
Just then a cry happened and a dark blast hits the ground and knocks the group into the walls hurting them a bit.
"Ah! W-What was that?!" Lilac asked
"I know that cry, it was a Rahkshi cry which means…Darrahk!" Tahu said shocked
The group look up and see a green and yeallow figure armred with a Three-blade-scissor and a Zamor launcher and beside him a black a red armored creature with a staff. They were Zaktan and his Rahkshi enforcer Darrahk
"Hmmmm, seems there still are a few rogue Toa still running around here." Zaktan said smirking "I was certain however you have the Toa of Light do all the fighting a bit more especially with poor Gali in trouble with these wonderful creatures to deal with."
Zakatan motions and Darrrahk holds up a restrained and weakened Takanuva. "No matter, I have your best chance against the dark creature in my clutches already just what I really need"
"What are you on about Zaktan?! You already control the city what more could you want?!" Tahu asked.
"A good question, have you wondered why these creatures appeared?" Zaktan said "They are drawn to the darkness and that means one thing, the master of darkness isn't gone"
"Wait…you don't mean…?" Tahu said shocked
"Teridax is still alive" Zaktan said "I am not going to let him upstage me, so I intend to use Takanuva as a way to banish his darkness, even if he dies in the process."
"You!" Emerl said angered.
"That is a life you're messing with!" Doom told him.
"You fools don't realize that this is our best course of action, Teridax is coming and I need to get everything ready." Zakatan said "Oh and don't try anything or haven't you noticed Gali isn't with you either."
The group look and see Gali is gone from where she was lying and they see that Darrahk had Gali with it as well as Takanuva, no doubt captured when the blast happened.
"No you miserable snake!" Tahu said
"It…it's okay Tahu." Takanuva said weakly by shakes his head "I understand, Teridax needs to be stopped, if he returns nothing will be able to stop him with how weakened the city is."
"But their has to be some other way" J said
"Enough banter, come we head for the council chamber where we will make our stand" Zaktan said and leaves with Takanuva, Darrahk who carries the unconscious Gali leave the area.
"Great not only have we lost Gali and Takanuva but there is a threat of the great evil we thought gone is returning." Tahu said looking down.
"Huh, one setback and you already to throw in the towel" Togami said scoffing.
"What he means is you can feel bad about it later." Emerl said "You need to pull yourself together so we can save them and stop Teridax. We saved Gali once we can do it again. Losing someone you care about is bad, but not as never getting them back!"
"Wise words to hear" J said nodding.
"He does say some smart things every now and then" Lilac said giggling.
"Hey!" Emerl said.
"Emerl…" Tahu said looking at them "You're right. I've never given up before and I don't plan too now! We've got to save Gali along with Takanuva, heck is Teridax has already shown up I will even save that Piraka's hide if it comes to it."
"They, said they were going to that council chamber, right? We can't just walk in if it's guarded!" Hiro said.
Suddenly the area shakes as an explosion came from the council building.
"That can't be good" Doom said.
"That must mean Teridax has arrived" J said worried.
"Come on, we have to go check it out!" Tahu said.
Emerl receive a gold card for Key of Truth as the allies minus J return to their card forms.
"Well time to move but this is getting daunting" J said concerned.
"It always does with our adventures" Emerl said "You'll get used to it."
As they began moving Emerl worked on his deck adding some new keyblade attack cards and even adds in the fire magic card he got facing Brutaka to his deck as well.
They then rush to the doorway to the council chamber and he uses the Key of Truth card on the doorway and they rush in
As they ran into the council chamber they saw it was in flames. Gali and Takanuva were on the ground and Darrahk was on it's knees panting and a bit injured. A dark blast was fired at it but Emerl moved and blocked it saving the Rahkshi.
"Where's Zaktan?" Doom asked
His answer came as Zaktan came flying across the room and hits the wall going unconscious. They then hear footprints moving to them and red eyes in the smoke and out emerges a black and red large figure with red eyes and a sliver sceptor charge with dark energy
"Teridax…." Tahu said glaring.
"My brother's favoured champion, gifted with the Golden Armor." Teridax said mockingly "Bet you surprised I returned."
"A bit…but you've died and returned so many times I'm getting used to it." Tahu said pointing his sword
"No matter, that fool Zaktan did what I expected him to do, an unknowing pawn for me to use." Teridax said "Now I will finish you all in one strike!"
"Not if we beat you first!" Emerl said ready to fight.
"You tell him Emerl!" Lilac said as everyone gets ready to fight
"Hey you, Darrahk right?" J said "Keep the unconscious ones save" The Rahkshi nods and hangs back
With that the battle with Teridax began in the burning council chamber. Teridax fired from his scepter dark energy blasts but Emerl and J dodges the attacks and closed in on him to strike at him several times.
Teridax tried to move back but Emerl hits him with a fire attack knocking him back. J follows up with an Acid tail and stabs his arm with her tail needle and it burns his arm and he swats her off him. Emerl then summons Togami who uses a thunder spell and attempts to heal J but Teridax manages to counter knocking him out the ring and he vanishes
Teridax then channels darkness into his eyes and fires eye blasts at them both and the two get knocked back as J dodges and fires at him from afar while Emerl could only dodge she then summons Doom who throws a smoke bomb which distracts Teridax as Emerl slides in and lays the final blow defeating the Makuta.
"NOOOOOO!" Teridax cries out as he fades away into the darkness and his mask cracks and shatters.
The shattered pieces reform into a black card featuring Teridax which Emerl claims smiling as he adds it in along with the Guard Armor Heartless card he got.
A while later everyone minus Gali who was sorting out the fire and Zaktan who seemed to be helping or has escaped it isn't know were outside having recovered from the fight and also Takanuva getting some needed rest.
"Well we managed to recuse Gali, Takanuva and the whole city it would seem" Togami said
"Not a bad thing to accomplish I will say" Doom notes.
"But what do we do with…him?" Hiro asked pointing to Darrahk
"Tricky to say, Rahkshi are known as the sons of Makuta, but this one was loyal to Zaktan and even fought against Teridax" Takanuva said thinking "I suppose it can stay here if it willing to obay someone less evil"
"You think so?" J asked
"Of course, Gali would tell me to give this a chance even if I am stubborn sometimes with my ideals, so I am willing to agree with this course suggested" Tahu said "Emerl, I do wish you luck as well."
"Huh? What for?" Emerl asked.
"I was ready to give up back there, but what you told me is what kept me going." Tahu told him "That is when it dawned on me. You must be looking for someone you care about, too."
"Yeah…" Emerl said surprised.
"Takanuva, I know what you suggested will be good, but I have a better idea for the Rahkshi." Tahu said.
Darrahk moves towards Emerl and kneels before him and Takanuva said "Seems it already knows what your idea is".
Darrahk holds it's hand up and out of it came dark energy and a blue summon card forms with Darrahk on it and Emerl claims it and smiles
"I suppose whenever you need to call on him just use that card and he'll lend you aid." Takanuva said nodding.
"Nice, out bounty of cards grows" J said to Emerl
"Yeah, but you sure this is good idea?" Emerl asked.
"I think it will benefit having a less evil master to obey that will rub off on it." Takanuva said "If there is a way to coexist with Rahkshi this might be a stepping stone"
"Alright, thanks!" Emerl said and pets Darrahk who lets him before moving away.
"I wish you the best on your journey, good luck Emerl." Tahu said to him. He then dashes off heading to the training grounds.
"He isn't going to check on Gali or…confess?" Lilac asked.
"Don't rush him." J said smiling "These things will take time."
"Say that again." Takanuva said with a nod.
"Well, we should get moving?" Togami suggests.
"Yeah, I see the exit from here" Hiro said pointing.
The group smile and move towards to the exit of this world.
With another world down and some new cards the group head back to the exit. Also yes as you see something personal to the bosses will shatter and form into there boss cards
