Battleship of Memories Part 2
When we last left our heroes the group found themselves on a mamory recreation of the Wily Battleship and reunited with Roll, the original chronicler of the team before RiCO, or rather a memory version of her.
However Megaman has run off so the group had to go and retrieve him before he gets in over his head with the army of Heartless robots commanded by the Heartless Devil.
Emerl and J make there way through the halls of the ship fighting and avoiding Heartless as they do, Emerl even found some new cards and reworked his deck with the new cards
"Seems you got the hang of the card system." J said with a smile
"Yeah have you been in constant battles using it, it becomes easier to handle." Emerl said with a nod.
"Good, because I feel it might get harder from here" J said thinking on it.
They soon find the door for the Key of Guidance card and Emerl uses it on the door to open it and they step through. They come to the power core of the ship where all the critical systems are.
In this room was also Megaman who was disabling some of the systems. He then turns around and sees them "Oh! Hey everyone."
The group apporch and RiCO appears saying "Megaman, what were you thinking running off on your own? You know Dr. Light and Roll will worry about you!"
"I think from the tone RiCO was worried about you too" Doom points out.
"Yeah sorry…" Megaman said sighing.
"Why did you come here all by yourself anyway?" Emerl asked.
"I just felt so useless standing by while we were unable to get to here to disable the ships powercore" Megaman said "But I noticed the Heartless Devil has been absent from here."
"So, you figured now would be the ideal time to strike?" Togami guessed.
"Exactly. I just want to make it so our escape isn't hindered and help out in my own way" Megaman said with a nod "I want to keep my family safe."
"So that's why you rushed headlong into this danger." RiCO said nodding.
"You did it because you love your father and sister." Hiro said smiling.
"Well, you are definitely a courageous figure I'll give you that." Lilac said with a smile.
"You think so?" Megaman asked.
"Yeah, but you really shouldn't bottle these emotions in." Lilac explained "You should tell them how you feel."
"Indeed, if you tell them how you feel, they'll help you out in planning stuff like this better" Doom said with a nod.
"We'll even give you a hand in it." J said with a smile. "We'll start by finishing the job here."
"Wait, you'll actually help us?" Megaman asked smiling "Sure, I guess that make sense. I'll head back while you all take care of this."
"Good, just remember no more secrets, okay?" RiCO told him.
"Sure, I'll tell Dr. Light and Roll how I've been really feeling, don't worry RiCO." Megaman said nodding.
"Good, and be sure to…" RiCO began but all of a sudden the room began to shake.
"Huh? What's happening?!" Emerl asked concerned.
"I suddenly have a bad feeling about all this." Togami said concerned.
"Megaman! Hurry get out of here!" RiCO told the blue bomber.
Megaman nods and rushes for the exit when suddnely a large figure drops down and grabs in and holds onto him. The figure was a blue and black monster with horns and a single yellow eye, the Heartless emblem on it's chest.
"Hey! Let me go!" Megaman struggled.
"Let me guess…. that's the Heartless Devil we've been hearing all about?" J said concerned
"Yeah, looks like it's raring for a fight so let's give it one." Lilac said with a nod.
"Going to have to if we want to save Megaman!" Emerl said summoning his keyblade.
The Heartless Devil lets out a roar as the battle was to begin. The room shakes and several of the platforms separate as the core lowers down into a bit making some space for the fight as J and Emerl were ready.
Megaman was absormed into the Yellow Devil and can be seen restrained behind the Yellow eye of the Heartless boss. The Devil then fires it's hands at the two and J flies up to avoid hers while Emerl ducks and jumps over the gap to strike it doing some damage
J grabs a card that at the Hopes Peak Academy Logo on it, not sure what it does she plays it and all of a sudden the core rises back up. Getting an idea she then follows up with firing a rocket which hits the Heartless Devil knocking him into the core damaging both it and the ships core.
The Heartless Devil then fires a blast from it's eye that the two dodge although J's wing was hit forcing her down. Emerl moves in and performs a Fire Blitz on the Devil damaging it badly as it hit the eye. He then plays the All Might summon and does some extra damage with a Smash attack.
Just then the core lowers back down to where it was meaning the ground was separated but the ship jolts as the core tries to keep everything stable.
J then gets a Hiro and Doom card and plays them and the two did a blaster tornado doing damage. The Heartless Devil swings wild in desperating
"Emerl now!" J said
Emerl jumps up and strikes it in the eye dealing the finishing blow. The Heartless Devil roars as Megaman leaps out of it and J catches him. The Devils body Seemingly dissolves leaving only it's yellow eye which shatters into darkness and forms into a Boss Card of the Heartless Devil which Emerl claims.
However the Heartless Devil reappears and knocks J out of the air and onto the platform.
"Seriously! It's not down!" Emerl said shocked
"Don't worry I got this!" Megaman said jumping up and charges up his arm cannon and fires hitting the Heartles Devil in the eye hole forcing it back and making it lose it's footing and fall down into the chasm below and lands on core making it explode
"WARNING: Power Core destroyed! All systems on emergency power!" The computer voice said. "Lockdown still in effect!"
"Way ta go Megaman!" RiCO said smiling.
"Thanks, but now I had a thought, this ship is now dead in the air, meaning the security systems might be easier to get too so we can force the hanger door to relieve the lockdown!" Megaman said.
"Yeah, then with that we can fly out of here!" Emerl said getting the idea
"That's a good idea, let's head to security and try and relieve the lockdown" Togami said nodding.
"I'll come with" Megaman said.
"I don't know, it might be too dangerous even with the Heartless Devil gone." RiCO said "Maybe you should go see Dr. Light and Roll and let them and Wily know the plan and no sense in being separated when you're close to escape."
"Yeah, just leave this to us" Lilac said nodding.
"Alright then. Be careful you guys" Megaman said with a nod.
The heroes then leave the area heading for the security section, Emerl receiving a Key of Truth to use when they find the door.
Emerl and J made their way through the halls fighting the Heartless as they do, with out there main leader they became more relatless and less focused in their attacks but they were able to manage in small amounts.
"Guess Megaman wasn't kidding" Emerl said as they approached the door to use the Key of Truth card on
"Indeed, so we better prepare for what's behind this door" J said sorting her hair a bit
Emerl nods in agreement and uses the Key of Truth and the door opens. The group enter and find themselves in a room with many computers monitoring a lot of areas of the ship.
"I guess this is the Battleship's security room." Doom said thinking.
"Alrigh then, let's find the one for the lockdown in the hanger and disable it." Emerl tells them.
"Found it" Togami said as he works on it "While I work on this, keep an eye out, chances are we may get some who'll want to stop us."
"Oh yeah! I can see them!" J said as several Heartless appear with the intention of stopping them.
With that everyone minus Togami fought the waves of Shadows and Heartless Joes, it was hard but they managed to hold them off long enough for Togami to get the lockdown lifted in the hanger.
"Done!" Togami said.
"Ands so are we!" Emerl said slicing the final Heartless Joe in half and out of it came a blue card. He picks it up and sees it was a Red Eyes Black Dragon summon card "Neat, I missed this guy."
"Huh? Really?" J asked looking at it. "Seems powerful"
Just then the ship shakes a bit and creaks as the look at the camara of the hanger seeing the hanger doors opening
"It's opening! The lockdown is lifted!" RiCO cheered "And…oh deer, be careful!"
Just then the security room explodes and blows the heroes into the hallway. When Emerl comes too he sees they were blown all the way back to the hanger only this time the Wily UFO was gone, along with the occupants of it.
"Geez…that was rough" Emerl groaned
"Hey, were's Megaman, Roll, Dr. Light and Wily?" Hiro asked.
"They're gone, must have gotten out of here safely" RiCO said thinking.
"They left without you RiCO? Wouldn't you want to go with them?" J asked
"I don't mind, Roll tasked me with being the chronicler when she decided to return to Megaman and Dr. Light" RiCO said smiling "I feel more useful with you guys then whatever my original intentions were to be and I wouldn't trade it for the world, besides if I was gone J, you wouldn't have your protection from being in the sun."
"Yeah I guess you got me there" J said smiling.
"But I bet they were happy to see you, like Dr. Light said…" Emerl said nodding "Nothing better then being reunited with someone you care about. No doubt they'll be counting the days till they can reunite with you RiCO."
"Heh, I think you'll be right" RiCO said giggling.
"We should get moving to the exit." Doom suggests.
"Yeah let's move" Emerl said as he works on his deck as they go to the exit door.
Another world conquered and a new summon card being Red Eyes and one more adventure with Roll
