Another world down time for the last card the group have on them for the next world.

DM77's Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories Chapter 12
Festival of Heroes Part 1
We come to our heroes re-entering the familiar halls of Castle Oblivion. Some of the group were talking about what they experienced in that last world. They then stop to take a short break.
"Hey, Emerl." Togami said looking at the Gizoid "Do you recall anything else about that other girl?"
"Hmmmm…only bits and pieces" Emerl said thinking.
"Hey, here's an idea, maybe you can tell us some more stuff about her." Hiro suggested.
"That's a good idea, it might help jog your memory more on her that you remember other things about her." J said with a nod.
"Well, let's see…" Emerl said thinking as he recalls what he knows "She was quiet…and always drawing. When we'd go to the peach, she'd draw a picture instead of sparing. Sometimes she'd draw us, too! She was really good."
He chuckles and said "I remember Metal and I fighting over who she'd draw next. But one day…she was gone, just like that. I think the adults knew the reason. They probably might have even tried to explain some of it to me."
"But my mindset at that point was of a little kid, I didn't properly understand what was happening back then." Emerl explained "I recall, sort of crying after she was gone.
"But…. that's all." Emerl said rubbing his head. "I still have no idea what her name is, only her appearance is of a jet themed robot."
"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll remember it in no time." Lilac said reassuringly. Emerl smiles and nods.
RiCO then appears and said concerned "I must point out. Emerl keeps remembering things instead of forgetting them. By that logic it seems to me that forgetting things may be the only way to reach the memories buried deeper down inside each of us."
"So, you're saying we should forget in order to remember?" Doom asked.
"Yeah after it's like my master and his allies said…" J said nodding "Our most precious memories lie so deep in our hearts, that they're out of reach."
"Yeah, all that stuff about finding being losing and losing being finding…I didn't get it at first, but maybe that is what they meant." Emerl said nodding.
"Gee Emerl, I'm a bit jealous of you and J." Hiro said smiling "How come me, Togami, Doom, Lilac and RiCO aren't remembering more of the stuff from our memories while J is gaining memories from our prior memories?"
"Let's go guys!" Lilac cheered "Let's get moving, we've got to forget things quicker!"
"I don't think we should actively try to forget things willynilly." Togami said sighing as the group laugh.
We come to the floor near the top of the Castle where Brutaka and Emerald were still watching Emerl and co's progress via the link to an unknowing J and they were pleased with the progress.
"Just as we intended." Emerald said with a smirk
"I guess it's time to continue with our plan." Brutaka said with a nod "Let's see how far this little group will go." He turns away to leave.
"Hold it right there Brutaka." Emerald said stopping him "You've already had your fun with them back on the first floor. I think it's my turn now."
Brutaka shakes his head and tosses her a card which she catches it. She chuckles and and her suit's helmet comes on now she was fully glad in her Psycho Pink armor
She goes to him and told him with glee "You are aware I'm not just going to give it to them right?"
"Don't break him and despite what you think of J, don't break her as well, Marr seems oddly intrigued with her since he found her a short while ago." Brutaka told her simply.
"Well…Do I detect a soft spot?" Emerald said with a smirk "I guess being the caretaker of Psycho Robot changed you a bit." She walks forward and get her cloak and hood up "I'm not going to break the toys. I'm not stupid."
"I'm not sure on Marr's intentions with the drone but don't forget, Emerl is the key." Brutaka said "We need him if we're going to take over the Organization."
Emerald places a finger where Brurtaka's mouth would be on his mask and said "I know that you're in on it too…But keep it under your mask at least until the time is right." She waves and vanishes in a Corridor of Darkness.
Now alone in the room Brutaka smirks and said, "You would have been wise to have done the same, Emerald."
We re-join the group as they made there way up to the next floor and before them the familiar sight of the blank door.
"You know I kind of wish each floor before the blank door had some difference instead of white all the time" Hiro said
"Honestly I think some of my master's group tried, it just never stuck. It might be whatever magic controls this place" J explained.
"So Emerl, did anything back there help you remember your friend's name?" Doom asked.
"Uhhh…no, the only thing I can't seem to remember is her name." Emerl said thinking.
"You have to try cause this is getting annoying" Togami said annoyed "Hurry up already and remember it!" Emerl chuckles nervously at that.
"Anyway, we got another door to open" Lilac said
"And one last card" J said getting the world card out.
Emerl takes it and after altering his deck to include Stop spell he uses it on the door it opens and the group is bathed in the familiar bright light.
When the light died down the group found themselves on what seemed to be a very futuristic city. They themves have also physically changed, Emerl and J's robotic bodies were more sleek and advanced, even J's usuall attire was more armor like then cloth.
Togami, Hiro and Lilac also got armor as well while Doom's armor matched the sleek ness of Emerl and J's bodies. Looking around they see what appears to be some kind of festival set up but there wasn't anyone around.
"Gee…this place doesn't look so lively. What do you think happened?" Hiro asked.
"I am sure there isn't anything to worry about." Lilac said "After all we're big heroes, we can handle any problem. Not even rampaging machines can stop us."
"Do you really think that?" J asked
"Of course." Lilac said.
The approach a stage and suddenly confetti bursts and three figures were on stage, a buff man in a green hero outfit, a cat like creature in armour and holding a wrench and a small silver robot
"Welcome my friends, to Megalopolis's Festival of Heroes!" The man in green said.
"AHHH!" Lilac jumps and hides behind Doom. The others get there weapons ready.
"Geez, sorry about that miss." The robot said approaching.
"I told you we should have gave a warning Qwark" the cat like alien said
"Nonsense, if she is easily that surprised, they'll have a ball at all the festival's excitements" The man known as Qwark said
"Who are you guys?" J asked
"Apologies citizen, I am Captain Qwark, the greatest hero in the universe!" Qwark said "Tied sort of with these two."
"Debatable, anyway I'm Ratchet and this is my buddy Clank." The cat like alien said.
"A pleasure to meet you all." Clank said nodding. "Where you are is Megalopolis one of the capital city planets in the universe and the current host of this year's Festival of Heroes."
"It's currently a bit early before it's officially open but feel free to have a look around before the crowds" Ratchet said.
"Sorry, but we don't have time" Doom said.
"That sucks, I overheard what you said and well we are having a bit of a problem." Qwark said nervous as he backs away.
"What kind of problem?" Emerl asked.
"I think he means…." Ratchet said and the group see they're surrounded by Robot Heartless in black with the Heartless Emblem on there backs known as Heartless Rangers.
"Looks like we have a fight on our hand." Togami said getting ready
"Well, let's give it to them." Emerl said
"We'll help too." Ratchet said as Clank gets on his back like a backpack.
"Good I'll oversee the action…. from back here." Qwark said hiding behind the stage.
"We, sure he's a hero?" J asked
"It's about 50/50" Ratchet said smiling.
As the fight begin Emerl uses the stop spell to freeze the Heartless but it only freezes one of them, J uses this opening to open fire on several of them while Emerl unleashe a Blizzard raid on two of them
J then gets some Ratch and Clank alley cards and summons them to help. They fly up and Ratchet throws his wrench at them and then fires with his blaster destroying several. As the Heartless Ranger's fall they leave behind there bodies in parts as they turn green the regular Galactic Ranger colour from the robots.
Emerl and J clear out the last of them with ease and the group see the place covered in robot parts.
"What is going on?" Togami asked "Were they Heartless?"
"If that it what they are, we assume they are" Clank said "A while ago a virus was uploaded to the Galatic Ranger database taking control of all there robot soldiers."
"Me and Clank were able to wipe the virus but not before it fragmented itself into smaller codes so it still inside the robots." Ratchet said "Just glad Clank is immune to it, I guess being part Zoni helps"
"Well, that sucks for the festival." J said
"Indeed, we love to be rid of this problem as they go around causing problems for the works" Clank said nodding "Galactic Rangers defend citizens not attack them."
"Do you have any idea on the source of the virus or why they're here?" Doom asked.
"The source of the virus is unknown, but it was sentient so it might be just a digital form of a Heartless that infested the system." Clank explained.
"As for why they're here, no clue." Ratchet asked.
"I have a suggestion." Qwark said coming out "Why not go ask Dr. Nefarious, he is just the evil scientist who know what evil is thinking."
"Nefarious?" Lilac asked.
"An archenemy, as sort of a Community Service thing he is helping with the festival." Ratchet said, "Come on, let's go to where he's being kept." He and Clank go on ahead.
"Well Emerl, what do you think we should do?" Togami asked.
"I suppose we should go." Emerl said to him
"Hmmmm, I am not sure but I guess we have no choice." Lilac said nodding.
As they leave Emerl, gets some pointers from Clank on Terror Slite which requires two summon cards like All-Might and Daxter and an Item card to strike fear into his enemies. He noted that down. He also got a Key of Beginnings.
-Megalopolis-
As Emerl and J make their way through the city streets, Emerl reworks his deck removing the Stop spell as it wasn't as effective as he liked. He also since he had removed All-Might from the deck added in Tommy as a summon card.
"This place sort of reminds me of someplace…just more alive and advanced" J said as they make their way through the streets
"You mean where Marr made you?" Emerl asked
"I…no…I'm not sure" J said unsure on how to answer that. Was that the case or something else.
The two kept moving as they fought several Heartless along the way which were more difficult then the other worlds using robotic bodies to their advantage.
Emerl finds some card packs and again reworks his deck and with the Tommy Card being a low value decides to remove it and primarily be attack cards with some spells
J meanwhile decides to take the Red Eyes summon to add to hers just to give summoning a chance. They then find the door for the Key of Beginnings and Emerl uses it.
The group along with Ratchet and Clank enter a room that was like a makeshift lab. Sitting on a chair working on a computer was a purple and silver robot with a green dome on his head and red eyes.
"Everyone allow me to introduce you to Dr. Nefarious" Ratchet said to them and to get Nefarious' attention. "So called evil super genius."
"I have you know I am a genius and evil and specially super!" Nefarious said turning to them and stands. "But…I feel like a moron as I feel I created something horrible."
"You created something you regret…that is new" Clank said surprised, even Ratchet was surprised.
"What did you make?" Doom asked.
"Well tell me…have you ever stopped to wonder about the power of 'true memories'?" Nefarious asked
"Hang on, true memories?!" Emerl said surprised.
"Let me explain, our hearts are full or memories, but not all of them reflect the truth through." Nefarious explained "Unlike in some robots that have recording devices the heart isn't where to find it. Even important memories can change over time."
"They warp or fade, leaving us with but a shadow of what he hoped to remember." Nefarious explained further "Or in Qwark's case leave the moron deluded."
"Yeah, hard to argue with you there" Ratchet said nodding.
"Ratchet!" Clank said arms crossed.
"Hold it, back up, do you think what you explained minus the part about Qwark, do you think that is happening to me?" Emerl asked.
"Don't worry, from my research it happens to everyone." Nefarious said "Some memories grow traumatic, and others become beautiful. My theory is if we could recover our true memories, the world would seem completely different"
"Like one where one of your evil plans work?" Ratchet teased.
Nefarious annoyed but added "In any case, I devised a helmet using parts from memory erasers, reversed of course, that will bring back our true memories."
"Did this helmet work?" J asked
"Well, now we get to the problem…" Nefarious said sighing and shaking his head
"As soon as Nefarious turned on the helmet, that was when the Virus appeared and infected the Galactic Ranger robots!" Clank explained.
"Sounds to me the device failed" Togami told them
"No! The research I did on this was accurate!" Nefarious yelled annoyed "I just need to have an examination of the helmet to figure out what went wrong!"
Nefarious however goes to an empty case and said "Sadly…it disappeared."
"Maybe someone stole it?" Emerl suggested.
"We ruled out Qwark, so there is only one over suspect Talwyn Apogee! She is the only other person to know about the helmet." Nefarious said "Ratchet, Clank, you have to find her and get the helmet back."
"Sure, I guess so, it's too risky to leave it anyway" Ratchet said nodding.
"Can we tag along?" Emerl asked.
"We're not against it but why?" Clank asked.
"I am interested in these 'true memories' the doctor is on about." Emerl explained.
"Alright then, lets go and find Talwyn then" Ratchet said nodding.
The group then leave with Emerl gain a Key of Guidance card.
Reunited in the Ratchet and Clank world but now have to find Nefarious' experimental helmet that could unlock true memories
