The Equestrian Amulet Part 2
Emerl and J made their way back into the Everfree Forest to track down Twilight Sparkle and find out why she took the dangerous magical artifact, the Alicorn Amulet.
"What do we do when we find this princess?" J asked him as they walked
"I think it's best we talk to her, it probably will help to know more about exactly what's going on." Emerl suggests.
"I guess so, we only know very little about what is going on" J said with a nod. "Well let's get moving and avoid those Heartless patrols."
"Got it" Emerl said nodding
The two rush avoiding the Heartless including some that resemble black and purple mushrooms known as Black Fungus. They find the door for the Key of Guidance card and use it to enter the next area.
The group come to a clearing by a riverbed and and see Twilight ahead of them sitting looking at the box that contained the Alicorn Amulet
"She's over their" Doom said spotting her.
"This is all my fault." Twilight said sighing "I wish I didn't take this artifact from it's hiding spot. It should have been obvious things would turn out this way."
"So, she did take it!" Togami said folding his arms.
"Quiet, someone's coming" Lilac said to them seeing some coming from above.
"No need to fret little princess…You did the right thing." A female voice said and appearing from the darkness came an insectoid like alicorn with a smirk "After all, you would do anything to help your little friends, right? Even make a deal with me, the former Changeling Queen." She chuckles "Your poor little friends, locked away in a dark dimension trapped. No pleace for a pony."
The Changeling Queen steps closer and continued "Why, if we do not hurry, there might not be any friends left to save…"
"That's enough Chrysalis!" Twilight yelled out glaring "I get it"
"Besides, as per our agreement, you're not giving me the amulet, juet letting me borrow it for a spell." Chrysalis told her and holds her hoof out. "You can save your friends; just give me the Amulet and I will help save your friends!"
"I know. But the Alicorn Amulet is dangerous to those who wear it as well as the ponies around it!" Twilight said "I corrupts those who wear it. Just give me some time to think there must be a better way."
Chrysalis smiles turning away and said "Well, it is all the same to me regardless. But who knows what creatures of darkness your friends are fending off while you twiddle your hooves. You can find me at the Castle of the Two Sisters when you've made up your mind."
With that said Chrysalis teleports away with darkness.
"Oh…what am I going to do?" Twilight said double face hoofing.
"Well for one, I say you shouldn't trust her." J said as she and the others walk up to her.
"Oh, you lot…how long have you been listening in?" Twilight asked surprised.
"We listened in long enough" Emerl said to her
"It doesn't matter right now, what J said is right!" Togami said nodding "Don't trust that insectoid being. It is so obvious she is up to something evil."
"Yeah, I am glad we agree. I know for a fact how deceitful Chrysalis can be." Twilight said nodding "The problem is I have no idea where by friends are or how to get them back. I do know of someone else who could help but he is somewhere on vacation is what Fluttershy told me before she vanished, so she is the only one who can help"
"Well, what about us?" Emerl offered. "Come on, let's go and talk to her. You shouldn't do it by yourself."
"Really? You'd all come with me?" Twilight asked surprised.
"You bet!" Emerl said nodding "I know how it feels to have friends in trouble. Let's get moving."
"Yeah, I know where she is waiting so I will lead the way" Twilight said
The group nod and begin to head out to the Castle of the Two Sisters. Emerl gaining the Key to Truth card. As Emerl and J make their way there, Emerl reworks his first deck removing the Blizzard spell card and adding just attack cards.
"No magic spell attacks?" J asked surprised.
"I am expecting a fight with a magic user, so I assume she will be able to counter spells." Emerl said thinking.
"I guess it make sense but she may have other tricks too" J points out.
"We'll deal with them when they come about" Emerl said with a nod.
They get moving avoiding the Heartless and come to the door for the Key to Truth and Emerl uses it and the door opens for them to enter the castle.
The group with Twilight rush into the castle and enter the throne room. In the centre was a glowing orb of darkness and from the rafters Chrysalis decends down and lands before them.
"My, my seems the Princess of Friendship has brought others to be guests at my…temporary home" the Changling said with a smirk "Anyway, have you made up your mind?"
"Like you said Chrysalis, I'm willing to do anything for my friends." Twilight said keeping the box close "But I know how deceitful you can be, so I need proof I can trust you. You told me we can use the power of the Alicorn Amulet to save my friends, I want you to prove it!"
"Of course! See?" Chrysalis said grinning and in a motion several ponies appear in the room in cages hanging form the ceiling, these were all Twilight's friends Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinki Pie, Rarity and Fluttershy.
"Twilight!" Pinkie Pie said smiling.
"Oh aren't you a sight for sore eyes!" Rairty said smiling.
"I knew something didn't seem right!" Lilac said glaring.
"Yeah, she was the one to take her friends!" Doom said nodding.
"There you have it." Chrysalis said smiling "Now, if you want your friends back, simply pour some of the amulet's magical essence into the orb in front of you."
Twilight sighs with not a lot of choice, she opens the box and takes out the amulet and holds it near the orb and the dark energy absorb some of it's magical power. The orb then formjs in anther Alicorn Amulet only green where the red was and Chrysalis takes it.
"At last! My key to power!" Chrysalis laughs putting it on "With this superior Alicorn Amulet with all the power and none of the side effects I will conquer all of Equestria!"
"Let my friends go!" Twilight told her putting the real Alicorn Amulet back and putting the box away.
"Of course, I am in a generous mood after all" Chrysalis said nodding and uses her magic to open all of the five cages letting them out "That reminds me…You saw one world before, wouldn't you like to see more worlds? Because I have a world, I feel you need to be sent to. But this one will be a one way trip! I can't have you Elements of Harmony thwarting my plans!"
With that said Chrysalis channels the power of her Alicorn Amulet and when the light clears Emerl and J are on their own the castle floor crumbled so their was one platform over a dark pit and out emerging from it was Chrysalis in a giant form.
"Woah…talk about a growth spurt" J said worried.
"All of Equestira and those beyond those borders will bow before me as their queen!" Chrysalis decared in a booming voice.
The fight begins with Chrysalis trying to crush the two with her hooves but J flies up to attack her body with her arm guns while Emerl fights the hooves.
Annoyed Chrysalis called down lighting with her horn. Emerl rolls out the way of some of it and jumps with J catching him and throws him at the horn to hit it doing some major damage.
"Insolent fools!" Chrysalis said as she continues her attempts and crushing them.
J then gets a special magic card and uses it created a whirlwind then knocks Chrysalis back to hit the walls around them, she became dazed leaving her open to an onslaught from Emerl and J she recovers and was not happy, she swats J knocking her to the ground.
However J gets up and reveals she manged to find during the battle three Twilight cards. "I feel it's fair to let her end this.."
"Right" Emerl said and holds off Chrysalis.
J then plays all three Twilight Cards which summons Twilight, Chrysalis seeing her growls and fires a magic blast at the alicorn princess. But Twilight does her Magic Blast Lv3 and fires a stronger blast back
"NOOOOOOO!" Chrysalis cries out as she is engulfed by the purple magic blast then breaks her apart and she fades away into darkness.
The fake Alicorn Amulet cracks and shatters into darkness that reforms into a black enemy card with Chrysalis on it, which Emerl takes and puts it with the others.
With the dark magic destroyed the castle returns to it's state before Chrysalis' spell like nothing happened.
"Thanks for helping us shugercube" Applejack said.
"And please don't be mad, Chrysalis used her Changling abilities to trick us" Fluttershy said sheepishly.
"You guys, as long as you're safe I'm happy, nothing else matters." Twilight said teary eyed as she and her friend's hug. She then breaks the hug and pulls the box out "Now all we need to do is return the Alicorn Amulet to it's hiding place and everything will be okay."
"But what if the Princess of Canterlot find out you took it from where it was hidden in the first place?" Emerl asked.
"I probably will severely reprimanded and scolded by Celestia…" Twilight admits
"Twilight! Twilight! Where are you?!" A familiar voice is heard from the entrance to the castle. "If you can hear me, please answer!"
"Is that Spike?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"He must have come all the way here to find me." Twilight said thinking.
"Yep, and when he does, he might tell on you to the princesses" Hiro said thinking.
"Oh, I got an idea" J said with a grin "What if tell him that Chrysalis was the one who stole it after figuring out where it was hidden."
"That might work, we along with Zecora, Spike and the Princess' were the only ones to know where the location was." Applejack said not comfortable with lying but she didn't want to see Twilight get in trouble for trying to save her and the others.
"Yeah, you can claim you got it back and saved your friends by yourself" Emerl said nodding "That way you want get in trouble."
"You know, I did have that idea to say that" Twilight said giggling but then sighs "But…I can't do that. I admit I am scared what the princess' will say for what I did…but I can't lie, not about this. I haven't made the best decisions during this while situation."
Twilight looks to her friends "I should never have taken the Alicorn Amulet. But I only made that mistake to help you guys. And for that I am proud of that choice."
"Blaming it one someone else, even someone like Chrysalis means I give up on those feelings." Twilight explained "So I'm going to tell them the truth."
"She's right guys" RiCO said appearing "Honesty is the best policy."
"You damn right it is" Applejack said sighing in relief.
"Hey! Was just trying to help…geez" J said rubbing her head.
"Don't worry, I feel we're both in hot water" Emerl said nodding.
"Well, I am sure the princesses will understand darling" Rarity said smiling.
"I hope so" Twilight said nodding.
Soon the group leaves and Emerl and J prepare to head for the exit the two smiling happy with how they handled teamwork in this world.
Chrysalis is defeated again and Equestria is saved but what happens next
