Another world done but now it is time for Emerl to have a shocking re-encounter.

A Dark Re-encounter
The group have returned to the familiar halls of Castle Oblivion and look around. Emerl looks ahead and gasps as he sees a familiar person, he knows approach. It was Metal Sonic.
"You're…Metal?!" Emerl said in shock.
"You know him?" J asked surprised.
"He's Emerl's friend" Lilac told her
Emerl run up to him "What are you doing here?" He asked.
"Not happy to see me?" Metal asked his voice with a bit of venom in it. "Let me know if I'm getting in the way, you know, of something that's more important"
"I don't like the tone he's giving off" J said.
"Wait? I didn't mean that…" Emerl said to his friend concerned.
"Hmph. Spare me your excuses." Metal said shaking his head "I bet you all had forgotten about me."
"Are you insane?" Emerl said in shock "Come on. I came all this way looking for YOU!"
"But you're not anymore, correct?" Metal asked him folding his arm "Now it's only….Windblade that you're looking for. You don't care about me. Just like you never cared-at all…about her feelings."
"Windblade's…" Emerl said in shock.
"Hmph." Metal said with a smirking look "I knew it. Never even gave it a thought, did you? Just because you want to see Windblade -sorry- don't go both ways."
J growls stepping forward as Metal continued
"Tell you the truth, Windblade doesn't even want to look at your face." Metal berated Emerl.
"Why not?!" Emerl asked shocked.
"Yeah, how would you even know?!" J cried out.
Metal just said "Simple, you should ask your memories…why Windblade disappeared from the islands. Remember that, and you'd know."
Emerl looks down "Did I…Did I do something? Is it my fault? Metal…"
Suddenly a swirl of darkness appears below Metal Sonic and engulfs him and when it fades he was in the Dark black and purple armour he wore when he gained when he was possessed by Vader.
"Go home, Emerl. I'll care for Windblade." Metal told him "And J you should return to your master's heel."
"Grrr…" J said she really didn't like him
"Anyone who goes near her…" Metal said and summons his Soul Eater sword to his hand. "…goes through me!" With that he suddenly attacks and Emerl was quick to block the strike as J is knocked back by the wind effect caused by it.
"What's-What's wrong with you?!" Emerl asked in shock as this was different from when he last saw him "We're supposed to be friends!"
"Please Emerl. Since when have you ever cared about me?" Metal asked him "Windblade's not the only one who's sick of looking at you. So am I!"
Metal then break the stance lock and jumps back giving distance for both of them.
"Metal, stop it!" Emerl said not wanting to fight his friend again but Metal only moves and holds his fighting stance.
"I don't think we have a choice in this" J said getting ready "Luckily those arena the Orginaziation members made, I have access to it as well."
"Alright" Emerl said nodding to her.
-Arena Authorization: Serial Designation J-
The three appear in the arena and Metal charges in to attack Emerl but J blocks him and held him back enough for Emerl to set up a Sonic Blade a few times to dash and hit him several times.
"Grrrr…some new tricks won't stop me!" Metal said in annoyance as he blocks one and kicks Emerl back.
"Metal! What ever's happening you need to snap out of it!" Emerl told him
"On the contrary I have a clear thought process and this is to keep Windblade safe!" Metal said and dashes and slices at Emerl knocking him back. "Now to end this!"
"Oh no you don't!" J said and knocks Metal into the air and flies up and engages her own Sonic Blade like move know as Sonic Claws
She slashes as she dashes around Metal and then knocks him down. Emerl then delivers one last strike finishing him.
"Me?! Lose?!" Metal said in shock as he is defeated.
A new magic card appears and Emerl takes it, it was for the spell Aero. He smiles and hands it to J feeling she might get better use for it and she accepts.
-End of Battle-
They return to the regular halls, Metal pants glaring in anger at them both and then he legs it for the stairs
"Metal! Please wait!" Emerl calls out to him,
But Metal didn't listen and ran up the stairs.
J watching said "That is your friend? I didn't get that from the meeting."
"Not the first time we've seen him like that" Hiro said walking up.
"Something must have happened; Makoto isn't with him either" Doom said nodding.
"We sure go after him to get some answers" Togami suggested.
"Right…" Emerl said concerned about what Metal told him
Did Windblade leave because of him? Was all this…his fault?
Well ain't that a slap in the face, but it they have to keep going
