"MJ?" Supergirl called as she flew into the room where the sound was coming from.
"Over here." Her nephew called from where he was crouched next to a teenager. As Kara approached she saw blood coming from the other teenager.
"He needs help." MJ said holding some towels to another boy's stomach, which had been impaled with a shard of metal.
"Are you hurt?" She asked her nephew.
"No I'm fine." He said.
"I'll be back." She said picking up the injured boy and flying him to hospital, leaving MJ in the darkened empty locker room.
Finally though she returned and asked. "You sure you aren't hurt?"
"I'm okay." He said.
"Then let's take you to the others."
"Are you okay flying?"
"My powers are back." She smiled before flying him to where she had left the others.
"MJ! Are you okay?" Eliza asked her grandson as he landed in front of her.
"Yes."
"You're covered in blood." Martin said.
"Not mine." MJ shrugged.
"I have to go help with this." Kara said looking round.
"Go, we'll be okay." Eliza said.
"I'm proud of you." Kara said to Alex before saying. "Look after them." With that she flew off.

"You doing okay?" Steve asked Eliza as he examined her wrist back at the house.
"Shouldn't you be the one telling me that?" She asked.
"I meant with Kara. It can't be easy seeing your daughter literally fly into danger."
"I'd like to say I've got used to it, but I haven't." Eliza replied.
"Well the good news is your wrist seems okay. But it would be prudent to get it x-rayed."
"I'm sure Kara will when she gets back."
"Everyone okay?" The older Alex asked coming into lounge.
"We're fine." Eliza said. "And your sister has her powers back."
"I saw." Alex said. "What happened to you? You are covered in dust."
"Caught in a restaurant, we're okay, Alex saved us. But you need to talk to MJ." Eliza said.
"Why?" The older Alex asked frowning.
"He was at school when the earthquake happened. One of his teammates got hurt badly. MJ helped him and he says he is okay, but he has that slightly distant look in his eye." Eliza said.
"We should probably get going anyway." Steve said standing. He then looked at Eliza and said. "Let me know if you change your mind about the x-ray."
"What x-ray?" Alex asked.
"Talk to MJ first." Eliza said.
"Okay." Alex said before walking upstairs. As she reached the den she saw the three teens playing computer games, although the teenage Alex looked like she was minutes away from sleep. For a minute she carefully watched her son before saying.
"Hi guys."
"Hi." MJ said pausing the game.
"Steve is about to leave." Alex said to Martin.
"See you later." Martin said before looking at the teenage Alex and saying. "Thanks."
"Sure."
Once Martin had gone Alex sensed her aunt wanted to talk to MJ and said.
"I'm going to check on Uzheiu." With that she left the two.
"You okay?" Alex asked her son.
"Yeah, why?"
"Your grandmother told me what happened."
"I wasn't the one hurt."
"No, but helping someone else when they are hurt takes it toll as well."
"You and aunt Kara do it all the time." MJ pointed out.
"And it still affects us."
"I feel bad as I should have been able to do more. I had no idea what I was doing. I ended up just trying to stop him losing blood."
"That's all you could have done." Alex said. "And I am really proud of you." She said hugging him. "But you need to take time to get over what happened. Don't rush and don't ignore it."

"You okay?" Alex asked when her sister returned to the house.
"I still have my powers if that is what you mean." Kara said.
"It was, but only in part." Her sister said.
"I'm okay." Kara said before asking. "How's MJ?"
"Resilient."
"Good. I stopped by the hospital I took the kid to and he is going to be fine. He was awake and talking to his parents."
"Thanks for doing that." Alex said. "I'll let MJ know." She said as her phone rang.
"Danvers." She answered. "What? When? … How bad?" She then glanced at her sister who nodded. "We'll be right there."

"What's going on?" Alex asked as she and Supergirl landed at the DEO.
"We were doing security checks after the quake and noticed a few cracks. Some of the cells were damaged." Vasquez said.
"Any escapes?"
"No. We sedated the prisoners in those cells. But we are going to have to move them to the desert base." Vasquez said.
"I sense a but." Alex said.
"The main road is out. We still have options, but the trucks will be in the city for longer."
"I could fly them one by one." Supergirl said.
"There are over thirty." Vasquez said.
"I could fly the trucks."
"Where's J'onn?" Alex questioned.
"On the end of the phone. Says he can be here if we need him."
"Call him down." Alex said. "This feels like a trap."
"On it." Ruby said as Alex turned to Kara and asked.
"Can you go to the desert base and look for signs of weaknesses. Be it in the cells or further a field."
"Sure." Kara said flying off.
"Get the desert base team doing it as well." Alex said to Vasquez.
"What can I do?" J'onn asked flying into the control room.
"We need to relocate some prisoners, but we first need to make sure we aren't being played."
"You have reason to suspect we are?" J'onn asked.
"Just a feeling." Alex said. "I hope it is just paranoia." She added before seeing Kepler. "Kepler." She called.
"Yes Ma'am."
"I want you to arrange a team to transport truck 4 to the Desert base. I want a full security escort."
"Yes Ma'am."
"What are they transporting?" J'onn asked as Kepler left.
"Nothing. They're a decoy."
"Won't they be expecting that?" J'onn asked.
"Yes, which is why I don't think they'll hit it. I think they'll hit truck 5, which we'll send out, full of sedatives, when truck 4 makes it out safely."
"So what are you doing about the prisoners?"
"We have the aerial option." Alex said.
"There is another possibility." J'onn said. "This is a tactic to reduce personnel here, making the DEO an easier target."
"One step ahead of you. If we do transfer we will transfer prisoners from the unaffected cells and move the others into those cells."
"If you transfer?" J'onn asked.
"First I want to make sure it is necessary. Want to look at the damage with me?"
"Sure." J'onn said following her to the secure holding area.

"This doesn't feel right." J'onn said.
"What do you mean?"
"This damage is extensive, but it feels too precise." J'onn said looking at the cracks.
"It's more weird than that." Vasquez said.
"What?" Alex asked.
"Every other building on the block is fine."
"So we were a target." Alex said. "But what is the end game?"
"Prisoner escape? Discredit Supergirl? Discredit us?" Vasquez asked.
"So all we need to do is stop all of those happening." Alex sighed as she heard her sister's voice is her ear.
"How is it down there?" Alex asked over the radio.
"There doesn't seem to be any damage."
"But?" Alex asked.
"Something feels off." Kara said.
"Anything specific?"
"No, but I have a bad feeling."
"Right back at you." Alex said. "Get them to set up for the transfer then come back here."
"Okay."
"There is another option." J'onn said.
"What?" Alex asked.
"We could repair the damage."
"How? Like you said it is extensive."
"I have powers." He reminded her. "And – can you call your sister and get her to bring back box A-1765B from the desert base?"
"Umm sure." Alex said.

"I have the box." Kara said.
"Want to tell me what it is?" Alex asked J'onn.
"Thirty years ago a ship crashed on Earth. As part of the ship's inventory was this." John said taking out one of the cannisters.
"Which is?" Kara questioned.
"Repair foam." He said. "It goes into cracks and seals it."
"Why have we never used this before?" Kara asked.
"It is designed for space craft. And requires the right composition of metals. Which the latest build of DEO cells have."
"Does it work?" Alex asked.
"Does my ship still fly?" J'onn countered. "I'll start sealing."

"That stuff is magic." Vasquez said two hours later.
"So we are secure?" Alex asked.
"Think so. And the prisoners are back in their cells." Vasquez said. "Also Trucks 4 and 5 made it to the desert base."
"Safely?"
"Yes."
"So we may have over reacted?" Alex asked.
"Don't know."
"Any chance the earthquake wasn't natural?" Kara asked. "Especially as it the second one in under two weeks."
"It will be hard to figure out one way or another." Vasquez said. "But what could cause an Earthquake?"
"You want me to list the ten sci-fi movie plots that come to mind?" Kara offered.
"No." Her sister said before looking at Vasquez and ordering. "Look for signs it wasn't natural and just in case it was deliberate I want a full assessment of our facilities, make sure they are Earthquake proof."
"On it." She said walking off.
"So what now?" Kara asked her sister.
"It's late, there's not much we can do. We should head home." Alex sighed.
"Want me to fly us? I mean it is quicker." Kara said.
"Seeing the main routes are still being repaired, sure." Alex said before asking. "But you sure you are up for it?"
Kara's response was grabbing hold of her sister and flying them home.
