The group have caught up to Metal Sonic and it's time for their second fight with him.

A Friend's Rematch

The group hurry out of the doorway back into the familiar walls of Castle Oblivian. Ahead of them they see Metal Sonic still in his darkness purple armor. Emerl runs up to him and Metal Sonic hears. Oddly enough Togami, Hiro, Lilac and Doom were gone but neither Emerl or J seemed to notice.

"Take the hint…I told you to go home." Metal Sonic said annoyed looking over his shoulder.

"Not until I rescue you and Windblade." Emerl told him.

"I don't remember ever asking you to rescue me." Metal Sonic told him.

"Either way we should work together on this" J said to him

"Did you forget?" Emerl asked him "Jenny's there waiting for us both to come home."

"I don't care about working together." Metal Sonic said turning around "Besides you're the one who forgot Emerl. I told you at Kingdom Hearts when we closed the door…'Take care of Jenny'" Emerl gasps as he remembers and looks down "Give it up. I'm not going back to the islands for anything."

"It's not just for Jenny!" Emerl told him "What about the rest? Link, Sokka and Amy! Even Cream, Cheese and Vanilla also your creator Eggman"

"See you have others to care for too" J said

"You can have those losers, and I don't care about my creator that much." Metal said with a careless shrug "I already forgot'em before you brought them up." He gives a smirking look.

"That's enough!" Emerl said with a glare and summons his keyblade.

"What about you Emerl?" Metal Sonic asked pointing "Do you actually remember what they all look like?"

"Of course I remem…" Emerl began but stopped as he tries to recall their faces but couldn't

"Emerl?" J said concerned

Metal seeing this and laughs and said "Don't feel bad. That's what this castle does to you after a while." He turns and begins to go for the stairs but stops to add "It's good. You forget all the useless stuff and remember for the first time what really matters. I remembered it, Emerl. I now know the one thing that is most important to me."

"And what is that thing you jerk?!" J said glaring

Metal glares back at her and said "Protecting Windblade. Nothing else matters not a thing."

There was silence as Emerl moves to look at his friend who has again fallen to darkness as he remembers how the two used to practise fight together.

"Hey….Metal…" Emerl said bringing his mind back to the precent and readies his Keyblade "I think I'll job your memory."

"I'll help too" J said readying her claws.

Metal scoffs and shrugs and readies his Soul Eater "Go ahead and try."

"J set it up" Emerl said and J nods and sets up the arena

-Arena Authorization: Serial Designation J-

The three appeared in the arena and begin there second round of battle. Metal moves in aggressive and gets some hits in first, but Emerl still had his Sonic deck equipped and pulls off a Sonic Blade attacks in and J follows through with some Fatal Frames.

Metal getting angry attemps a Helm Splinter on J but J counters it with a 0 card. "You got to be kidding me!" Metal said in anger.

"No I am not" J said swinging him into the path of Emerl who attacks with another Sonic Blade.

"It's over Metal!" Emerl said and knocks him into the air and he and Metal land one final hit on him ending the fight.

-End of Battle-

They return to the halls, Metal Sonic was on one knee weakened from that fight but Emerl and J remained on guard.

Metal Sonic uses his Soul Eater to help him stand up he was weakened but far from beaten as he smirks at Emerl and said "Hmph. Too bad, Emerl. You can fight me all you want, but I still won't remember a thing." He readies his battle stance again.

"Come on Metal…" Emerl said hopeful "Let's quit fighting, let's go help Windblade." He approaches his friend.

"Be easier working together on this" J points out

"Together right." Metal said scoffing. And drops his stance "So like you…Emerl you're always trying to worm your way into my heart!" He thrusts his sword at Emerl getting the Gizoid to back off.

"Hold on! When did I ever do that?" Emerl asked confused.

"Hmph, you forgot that, too?" Metal said annoyed "You never cared. It never mattered to you!" With that he turns and runs off heading up the stairs.

J looks at Emerl and goes to him "Are you okay Emerl?" She places a hand on his shoulder

"Yeah." Emerl said nodding looking determined "He won't push me away."

As the group regather, Emerl sees he learned a new slight Magnet Spiral. For this he needs to use two magnet spell cards and one attack card. This was ideal for crowd control

"Thank you" J said smiling accepting the instructions.

"We should keep moving, we might be able to catch him before he goes through the door." Togami said

The group nod and run up the stairs.

We come to a higher floor where we see Windblade sitting in a chair looking down at the floor sadly. Suddenly appearing from a corridor of Darkness was Brutaka aka Psycho Claw.

Brutaka approaches Windblade and stands looking down at her and asks "Does it hurt Windblade? Watching your two childhood friends fight all because of you?"

Windblade doesn't respond and keeps looking down.

"You have me sympathies. From the heart." Brutaka simply told her. Windblade looks up at him glaring "But don't waste your time." He sighs and looks away "We Nobodies can never hope to be somebodies."

Windblade could see the sadness in his eyes and knew he wasn't messing with her and looks down sadly understanding he may be right.

Metal Sonic still is hostile but can Emerl reach him. Also sorry for the short fight but I am not good with them plus the guide I am using is a cheeser and knows how to stack their decks so I couldn't adlib much.
