"We can't find any proof that the incidents Indomitable is dealing with are anything fabricated." Vasquez said. "And he's gaining popularity."
"With the city?"
"Yes, but I meant with metas. They are joining him. Very publicly."
"Anyone we know?" Kara asked.
"No, so far they are ones we've not seen before, which is a little strange."
"So they could have all been made?" Alex guessed.
"It's a possibility." Vasquez confirmed. "We are digging."
"Keep me posted." Alex said.
"Of course. We also looked into Paul Agut's brother and while he did work for a Tycho firm, he doesn't anymore. It's looks fairly random. Sorry." Vasquez said.
"Thanks for looking." Alex said.
"We've not giving up finding them." Vasquez said.
"I appreciate it, but don't loose focus."
"On that note, before you go the President wants a meeting." Vasquez said.
"Why?"
"Don't know. I think that is the point of need to know. But I didn't get the impression I was about to be promoted to Director if that's what you are worried about."

"What's wrong with you?" Kara asked her sister that evening.
"Apparently Indomitable is my problem."
"But he's not an alien."
"But he is also possibly manufactured, which falls into the grey area of not naturally of this world." Alex said.
"Maybe it is a sign of how much faith the President has in you?" Kara said.
"More like everyone else had already got their excuses in." Alex complained as the doorbell rang.
"It's Lena." Kara said looking through the door before answering it.
"Hi." Lena smiled.
"Hi." Kara replied leading her to the lounge. "How was Sam?"
"She's good." Lena said.
"Why do I sense a but?" Alex asked.
"Because you are stressed?" Kara suggested.
"There is a but." Lena said. "We did discover a bug."
"As in a creepy crawly?" Kara asked.
"As in electronic." Lena said. "I dropped it at the DEO on my way here."
"Is Sam okay?" Alex asked.
"Yes and she said don't even think about giving her security. But if you really want to make it up to her give security to Ruby."
"Already have." Alex said. "Which means she is going to be super ticked with me soon."
"Better ticked and safe." Kara said.
"Glad you think that, you can handle the fallout."
"Aren't you her boss?" Kara asked amused.
"Yeah, but she's known me long enough to know how to get to me." Alex said.
"You're going soft." Kara commented.
"I have more bad news." Lena said.
"What?"
"Did you know Indomitable has spread his wings? He has offices in several cities. Including Sam's. And Metas are queuing up to join."
"Yeah, Vasquez showed me the social media feeds." Alex sighed.
"What gets me is the message isn't identical to here." Lena said. "It is subtlety adjusted to appeal to the locals. Someone has put a lot of effort into the PR campaign. And while I admit PR isn't my thing, I know it takes a long time to plan."
"Which leads us back to where did Indomitable come from and who is pulling the strings?" Alex said.
"I take it, Tycho's assistant hasn't given up any useful intel?" Lena asked.
"No, and we have no idea where Tycho is. For all we know he is Indomitable." Alex sighed.
"Well, if there is anything I can do let me know." Lena offered.
"Thanks." Alex said.
"Where are the kids?" Lena asked.
"At mine." Alex replied.
"So peace and quiet." Lena said.

As Alex and Kara watched the latest social media feeds plotting Indomitable's popularity Rose approached them.
"Ma'am we have just detected Lobo approaching the planet."
"Just what we need." Kara muttered. "And I bet Indomitable uses this against me." She said turning.
"Where are you going?" Alex asked.
"To our normal meeting spot so I can get this over with."
"You aren't going alone." Alex pointed out. "I'm coming with you."

As the sisters landed in the desert they saw Lobo standing with a smug look on his face puffing on a cigar.
"Hey Mrs Lobo." He grinned.
"What do you want?" Supergirl asked.
"I have a gift." He said pointing to a heap on the ground. "Call it our wedding present. You asked, I found."
"What? Who? … " Kara asked rushing to the body.
"One Krypto loser."
"Weren't you contracted to find him. Are you going outside the contract? Do we need to get Frax down here?" Alex asked.
"Why you spend time round this people, when we could be having so much fun?" Lobo asked Supergirl.
"Because they aren't homicidal maniacs?" Supergirl suggested.
"That's my point." Lobo said taking a drink from his flask as Kara took the hold and restraints off the man. Blinking in the sunlight the man looked at Supergirl.
"That crest …" The man said in Kryptonian as he stumbled to his feet. "The house of El. But I don't know you. Which are you?"
"Kara Zor-El." Kara replied, also in Kryptonian.
"Zor-El? He lives?"
"No. He died shortly after the destruction of Krypton." Kara said.
"But you live?"
"I was sent to Earth in a capsule." She explained. "Are you Hals-Sa?"
"Yes." He said looking round. "Why have you brought me here?"
"That wasn't exactly the intention, we wanted to find you." Kara said.
"So you sent Lobo? You don't fall far from the tree."
"So there is a future for us?" Lobo grinned round his cigar. Ignoring him Supergirl went on.
"We just want to talk to you." Kara said. She then looked at Lobo and said. "You can go."
"No kiss?"
"No."
"I'll be back soon." Lobo smiled before getting on his bike.
"I'm sorry. I should have realised he'd do something stupid." Kara said to the Kryptonian.
"What do you want with me?"
"Information." Kara said.
"About what?"
"You worked on the Medusa virus with my father." Kara said. Seeing the disgusted look on his face she assured him. "We don't want to use it. We just want to understand the history. We know it is bad and I still can't believe my father worked on it. But I need to know why and who else would do something like that. Why did you work on it?"
"When I joined the project I was told it was to be used to target genetic diseases. When I discovered its real purpose I couldn't believe it. I went to your father, my mentor, I wanted to change his mind. But he wouldn't listen. He was obsessed with it. After that I went to see your aunt."
"Astra?" Kara asked.
"Yes. She was strong willed and not afraid to argue her case. I told her about Medusa. She told me it was another example of Kryptonian arrogance. She told me about the bigger problems facing Krypton and I agreed to meet her again. On our next meeting Non was there. He was full of hatred. He spoke of his plans and they were no better than the council's. But your aunt was different, I had great respect for her. After she was sent to Fort Rozz I knew the council had gone too far and there was no reasoning with them. I pleaded with your father, but he was so cold about it. When his mind was set on something, there was no changing it. After that I lost all hope and I left."
"And since then, have you continued any of his work?" Kara asked.
"No. Why would I? I had hoped all of the work died with Krypton. I guess I was wrong."
"You were. Now there are some bad people using it against humans and aliens."
"Humans?" He asked confused. "We're on Earth?"
"Yes." Kara said before Frax appeared before them.
"Is everything okay? I was alerted that Lobo was heading to Earth."
"He found the Kryptonian we were looking for." Alex said.
