Ianto exited the room and scratched vacantly at his hip as he moved through the main room then froze as he became aware of the eyes on him, so he looked down at himself to make sure his fly was closed.

"Where is he!" Gwen demanded with a sneer "He left the transporter at least with me taking the keys but where did your…."

"What do you day about the keys? The Transporter is ours." Jack asked as he entered behind Ianto, still smoothing his hair back with his hands "It's our Transporter. We will do what we like with it."

"Where were you" she demanded, her body shaking with rage "where the fuck did you go!"

Ianto and Jack stood there with confusion as Jack frowned and stepped forward "I didn't go anywhere ya mad bitch and if you don't calm down we will leave."

"When I did the room checks at three you were not there!" she poked his chest with a finger.

"You" Ianto said suddenly spurred to life "you are the one who kept unlocking the doors and looking in on us. Why were you being so damned creepy?"

Everyone sat saliently staring as Jack folded his arms and added "Yeah. If you had a brain you would know the reason you could not open Ianto's door is because we barricaded ourselves in there!"

"Why?" one of the others asked.

"Because we were not safe. Someone kept unlocking the doors. Someone had a key and was creeping around us in the room" Jack said slowly like they were thick "We were being treated like prisoners or something so… we were freaked out."

"I think we will just leave" Ianto said with a nod of agreement "This is creepy. I don't like it one bit. Give me the keys."

"Hang on, let me get this straight. Gwen… you have keys to all the rooms and you check on us when we are asleep?" Owen asked with confusion, then he turned to the security guard standing next to her "And what the fuck are you doing? You took their keys?"

"We had no idea she as doing it… we wondered where the master keys were, been missing for a while, she must have lifted them and then went in and took their Transporter keys from their pants or something. You try to control her then" came the shrug.

"I am sorry, I still have somewhere to go and I intend getting there" Ianto said as he rose from the chair he had sat in while listening to the crapolla going on. He held out his hand for his keys and she folded her arms defiantly.

"We will go with you" Toshiko said as she rose as well, glancing at Owen who nodded his agreement "I am pregnant and if you are going to the town you told my man about it will be safe night?"

"Safer than here… if you get there" Gwen sneered.

"We can't live like this either" Owen shot back. "you act like you are in charge and make stupid mistakes, who made you queen."

"But you are a doctor. We need you to stay" Gwen motioned the security guard, pointing to the sidearm at his hip "you do not have my permission to leave."

Everyone stared at her like she was nuts and then Rhys rose from his chair as he reached out and snatched the keys form her back pocket "Room for one more? I am sick of this shit. She's been fucking him for weeks and thinks I don't know. Why she needs to know everyone is in their beds, right Gwen? Hope he knows the reason I am not sleeping with you right now is because you have the clap."

"I do not!" she blustered with horror as Toshiko and Owen tried not to look at one another, the giggling already bubbling as they rushed to get their things. They had already packed their bags, hoping for a ride.

"Maybe ya do, maybe ya don't. Not my problem now" Rhys finally said "I am leaving and if he wants you, he will let me go. Not like we are married right? I am taking Anwen with me since you don't even know how to care for her. I am the one who has cared for her since the moment she was born, giving up my trucking job to become the stay at home parent for you to still swanked about as a low level Heddlu. Hell, she is still scared of you after your tantrum when you found she had the eaten last of the chocolate, the bruise is still on her arm."

"She's mine."

"One ore mouth to feed" her boyfriend hissed. "And her crying attracts them."

Gwen seemed torn and Ianto nodded, then Rhys scooped up his daughter and followed them to the Transporter, the go-bag he had sitting by the door already next to a sweet little girl's backpack tore at Ianto's heat as he thought of Anna. So he was ready to leave already too?

The Bugs seemed to know and came running as they slammed the doors to the Transporter once inside, but Ianto muttered to himself that he didn't care about getting gas, they needed to go.

"There is a gas station in the small village ahead… still some there" Rhys sited him "tell me, is gas consumption why you don't' drive over these things all the time?"

"We don't because it attracted people as well, who get eaten. The only tow people I came across during their Down Time is Jack, then Owen. During their Up Time it's not worth it as I don't want to see anyone else ripped apart. Anyone hiding in a tree, a building or even in a ditch would run for me like they might outrun the fuckers but they never do. I could not stand it anymore." Ianto replied, the memories of those people running towards the Transporter only to die so horribly would stay with him forever.

"Best to get home on one piece too, they follow us and surround it for days. The only way around that is to appear nothing in the first place" Jack added. "they pass us by without a second glance while we are idle."

A mote point now as Into crushed more bugs under the huge wheels.
