Ranma 1/2, High School DxD, Darkstalkers and the rest are owned by their respective owners. I own nothing.

If I did, there'd be a LOT more sex, dammit!

Chapter 3

Wearing just an over-sized white shirt, Nabiki grumbled as she walked out of the bathroom, her face and hair slightly damp from her washing them. "Urgh, I'm glad that they let me sleep in, but does it always have to be noisy when I get up?" She asked herself as she walked out of the hallway and to where there were several voices speaking. "You know!" She yelled out, causing everyone to look at her. "It would be nice if you guys were a bit more quiet in the morning!" She blinked a few times before realizing that there were some people over that she didn't see before. "Oh, Xenovia, Koneko and Gasper, I didn't see you three."

"We just got here." Xenovia gave Nabiki a wry smirk. "I'd say you need to go back to bed, but you'd sleep for a week straight if you could, huh?" It was pretty well known to her that Nabiki had a hard time waking up, but once she was awake, she was fine for most of the day.

"Yep." Nabiki yawned and walked off. "I'll get dressed and start looking up ways to help you, Gasper."

"Thank you!" The blond half-Vampire smiled as Nabiki walked off. "Um..." He looked around in confusion. "Where's Kuroka? She's supposed to help train.." He trailed off as Kuroka walked out of the kitchen.

"It was my turn to wash dishes, okay?" Kuroka had an annoyed expression on her face. "Making me wash dishes, the nerve!" She grumbled as she walked to the dojo. "Alright, come on you two."

Gasper and Koneko sweat-dropped, but followed along with Xenovia going with them.

Ranma, who had been sitting on the couch, stood up and stretched. "Well, I guess I'll join in, huh?" He blinked in confusion. "Atsuko?" He tilted his head as he saw the pink-haired girl giving him an uncertain look. "What's wrong?"

"Is it okay if I go to Nerima for awhile and check on my family?" She gave him an apologetic smile. "It's just been a long time since I saw them and I was missing them and..." She trailed off as Ranma chuckled.

"Sure, I don't mind if you take some time to go visit them." Ranma smiled at her. "Anyway, if you want, I can teleport you to Nerima."

"You can?" Atsuko asked in confusion. "But isn't it hard without a beacon or something?"

"I went to Nerima last weekend." Ranma answered her. "Wanted to see my parents and I thought I'd set up a beacon point at their place." Him letting Nodoka know that she had grandchildren on the way had been... A horrible mistake. 'Sheesh, mostly human or not, mom's hugs freaking hurt.' He had at least managed to make her promise not to show up in Kuoh until after the winter break. "...You know, I just realized, we're almost at winter, how come it's still so warm?"

Atsuko shrugged helplessly. "I have no clue. Maybe..." Her eyes widened as a thought came to her. "Ooooh! Maybe that's why?" Ranma gave her a raised eyebrow and she rubbed the back of her head. "Remember when we were in Kyoto and I fired such a big blast that I freaked out all the nations in the world?"

"...Yes?" Ranma didn't like where this was going.

"There's a strong possibility that doing so may have changed global weather patterns." Atsuko said with a small grimace.

"Lovely." Ranma sighed and shook his head. "I'll have Nabiki look into it." If anyone could figure it out, it would be her. "As for you, no more firing blasts so strong that they do that." He pointed at Atsuko and gave her a stern look, causing her to blush and bashfully dig her toe into the floor. Ranma's look melted and he grinned at her. "Just be careful, okay?" She nodded and a piece of paper appeared in Ranma's hand. "Anyway, this sigil will teleport you to my mom's place. Say hello if she's up, okay?" Atsuko nodded and took the paper from Ranma. "You'll be able to teleport back here when you want to come back."

"Thanks." Atsuko hugged Ranma and let out a soft moan as he hugged her back. "I'm glad you, eek!" She yelped as she felt his hands on her butt. "Hey!" She pouted and jumped away from him. "Why the grab ass?" She rubbed her butt while pouting.

"Because tonight was supposed to be your turn." Ranma winked at her and Atsuko blushed and nodded as she lowered her hands. "Don't worry, when you come back, I'll make sure to spend a whole day with you."

"...I want to go on a date." Atsuko told him and he tilted his head in confusion. "When I get back, I want to go on a date, dinner, the whole thing."

Ranma shrugged and nodded. "Sure, I got no problem with that."

Atsuko smiled at him. "Thanks. Anyway, I'll be gone for a couple of days." She paused for a moment and walked up to Ranma and gave him a quick kiss on the cheeks. "I'll say hi to your mother." She giggled as Ranma rubbed his cheek and she ran off before activating the paper in her hand and disappearing.

Ranma tilted his head. "...Wait, did I tell mom who I got pregnant?"

In Nerima...

After appearing in front of the Saotome house, Atsuko smiled and walked up to the door and knocked on it. A moment later the door opened and Nodoka stepped out. "Hieeeeeyyyaah!" Atsuko screamed as Nodoka didn't even hesitate and pulled her into a bear hug of such power that she felt all the air leaving her lungs at once.

"Oh my dear! I'm so glad that you're having my son's children! You've made me so happy!" Nodoka gushed as she hugged Atsuko with all of her might.

"Um, dear," Genma, who had walked behind Nodoka, sweat-dropped as Atsuko's face started to change colors. "If she is the one our son got pregnant, you might accidentally kill the baby."

"OH MY GOODNESS!" Nodoka let go of the hug like Atsuko was on fire. Atsuko, for her part, crumpled to the ground like a limp noodle, coughing as she got air back in her lungs. "I am SO sorry!"

"It..." Atsuko coughed, "it's okay. I'm not the one who's pregnant." Atsuko looked up and gave a weak smile. "It's Kuroka who's pregnant. I can take you to meet her when I head back in a couple of days."

Nodoka's eyes sparkled and she grabbed Atsuko's hands and helped her to her feet. "Really?! Yes! Thank you! Please! Come inside! Let me make you something to make up for what I did."

"Sure." Atsuko smiled.

In Kuoh...

Ranma knocked on Nabiki's door. "Hey! You in there?"

"Yeah, I am, come in." Nabiki called out and Ranma walked in, raising an eyebrow as she was sitting on her bed topless. "What? Not like you haven't seen me naked a million times already."

"Well, just a few hundred, but I can still enjoy boobs, can't I?" Ranma asked as Nabiki rolled her eyes and slipped a tanktop on.

"So, what's up?" Nabiki asked and privately hoped that he wasn't there for sex. Not that she was against it, but she wanted to look through what she could do for Gasper. It wasn't because she had any particular fondness for the kid, but the sooner she got it done, the sooner she wouldn't have to deal with it.

"So, I was talking to Atsuko and I realized that even though it's almost winter, it's pretty warm." Ranma said and Nabiki nodded. "And Atsuko was thinking maybe it was because of that cannon blast she fired back in Kyoto was disrupting global weather patterns."

"Let me see." Nabiki muttered as she activated her Balance Break and opened several windows. As data started to roll up on the windows, her eyes widened and she chuckled. "Well, Saotome, looks like you turning an android catgirl into a living Devil leads to the next half decade of having really warm winters and pretty hot summers." Nabiki gave him an amused look. "Congrats! You are the global warming that politicians have warned about for decades now!"

"Great..." Ranma dead-panned and sighed. "How bad will the droughts be?"

"That's the weird thing..." Nabiki narrowed her eyes in confusion. "While the temps are going to be high for the next half decade, there's going to be more rain than usual. Humidity is going to suck, but at least the rain will off-set the worst of the heat. Well, it should, but with the humidity, it probably won't."

"Hotter and more rain than normal?" Ranma deadpanned. "Great, I turned the whole planet into a swamp by accident."

"That's... Pretty accurate." Nabiki nodded. "If it makes you feel any better, the heat will give way to a few years of below normal temperatures." She shrugged at his hopeful look. "So long as no one decides to fire a super nuke on par with what she used, things will work out fine in the end."

"Well, I guess that's fine." Ranma nodded. "Thanks." He turned to leave but stopped when Nabiki called out to him. "What?"

"I know what you're planning." Nabiki told him. "Not all of us are going to go along with it."

Ranma gave her a grin. "I didn't think so. I need to talk to Lilith anyway. Besides, it's not like I'm going to join Jedah again."

"At least give them a couple days notice before you go and do it." Nabiki told him. Ranma tilted his head in confusion. "You were planning on telling them your plan and then doing it." Ranma chuckled and rubbed the back of his head. "Well?"

"Alright, I'll tell them when things settle down and give everyone a week to decide." Ranma told her, getting a nod from Nabiki. "Since you already know what I'm planning..."

"Already made up my mind." Nabiki told him and smirked. "I'm not going to spoil it or tell anyone about your plan until you tell everyone. Mostly because that Rating Game is in two weeks."

Ranma paused for a moment. "...Hmm, I need to contact Akane then." Nabiki raised an eyebrow. "It's time for me to start filling out ranks. Issei as well. Akane can get us something to help with that."

"You're just hoping that Vasco Strata will join Issei's group, aren't you?" Nabiki asked, getting a nod from Ranma. "...You want a potion to return him to his youth, don't you?"

"Can you blame me?" Ranma asked her.

Nabiki gave him a flat stare. "Yes I can. The guy fought Kokabiel to a stand-still, could use Durandall in ways Xenovia could only dream of and could probably beat you, Cologne and Happosai three on one." She sighed at the grin he gave her. "Fine, how many do you want?"

"I think four. Two for me and two for Issei."

"Don't blame me if you get your ass kicked." Nabiki grumbled as Ranma waved and walked out of the room. "...Stupid jerk, why do I have to be in love with him?" Privately, she knew she couldn't blame him. The thought of facing someone as strong as Vasco Strada had to be something that was almost intoxicating to people like Ranma. "...I wonder if he'll recruit Vali."

Part of her wondered if Vali would even accept.

Hours later, in Nerima...

Walking into the Mishima Heavy Industries offices was a little weird for Atsuko. Most of the time when she came in, it was to break one of her mother's toys. Going through the front door was so weird to her that she had to take a moment to look around.

"Hello, miss, can I help you?" A secretary that Atsuko didn't recognize asked and the pink haired girl smiled while her cat ears popped up. "Woah, what the heck?"

"Oh!" Atsuko blushed softly and reached up to push the robotic ears down. "Sorry about that. I'm a cyborg who had her body originally created here. I'm just here to see the President and her husband."

"You're..." The secretary was about to say something when the elevator suddenly dinged and opened up.

"NUKU NUKU!" A young boy cheered and ran out at full speed and doing a flying tackle-hug towards the girl that was like a big sister to him.

"Ryuunosuke-chan!" Atsuko's eyes sparkled as she opened her arms and caught the young boy in a spinning hug. "How are you? Has things been hard? Emi-chan isn't being mean, is she? Mama-san isn't insane, right? Papa-san hasn't been drinking again, has he?"

The brown-haired boy just smiled at her questions as he hugged her. "I'm doing fine! Things are going good. Emi's bad at hide and seek. Mom still makes some weapons and dad has to keep her from trying to do anything crazy."

"I was wondering what the commotion was." A familiar voice spoke up and Atsuko put Ryuunosuke down as Akiko walked into the lobby, smiling pleasantly. "Hello, Atsuko, I assume everything is fine?"

"Yep! Yep!" Atsuko nodded and smiled. "I was just missing you, papa-san and Ryuunosuke-chan, so I thought I'd spend the weekend here."

Akiko clapped and smiled before moving a stray strand of brown hair out of her eyes. "Excellent. Come on upstairs, I'm sure that Kyusaku will be happy to see you too."

"YAY!" Atsuko threw her hands up and cheered before following Akiko and Ryuunosuke into the elevator.

After the doors closed and Akiko pushed a button, the brunette looked at the Atsuko and raised an eyebrow. "Atsuko, I was wondering something."

"Huh?" The pinkette tilted her head in confusion. "What?"

"What will you do after you graduate from high school?" Akiko asked in genuine curiosity. "You're not an android anymore, though I'd love to do some more testing to make sure that you're still okay." Atsuko nodded and Akiko smiled at that. "But what about after you graduate from high school?"

"I could graduate right now if I wanted to." Atsuko told her, but she had a pensive look on her face. "I...I don't know. I never thought about it."

Akiko nodded. "You do have a long life ahead of you. Ever since the Kyoto incident where you decided to scare a bunch of nuclear powers..." She smirked as Atsuko blushed and looked away, "I've been doing some digging into the supernatural world."

"Mom?" Ryuunosuke frowned in confusion. "What are you getting at?"

Akiko's smirk turned almost predatory as the elevator stopped and the doors opened. "While there are people who just try to live their lives normally, there are too many people who dabble in things they don't understand and put everyone at risk." As the group stepped off the elevator, Atsuko's eyes widened as she looked at the large hanger full of various weapons, mecha and vehicles that were being worked on and fitted with armaments.

"Mama-san, what are you..?"

"So if the world is going to have crazies who might destroy it," Akiko had a shark-like grin on her face and flicked some loose strands out of her face. "Then we need people who will hunt those crazies down to protect the world, don't you think?" Atsuko nodded, her face still showing shock. "So, how about it? Want to work for your mother after high school? Traveling the world and dealing with random craziness that might slip through the cracks?"

Need to plan for the future, right?
